Hello everyone! DWG here is back! Normally, I would wait for weeks before I update. But I'm quite impatient and excited with writing this story. Especially now that school has officially given the message that the school year will not be continued. Which basically means there's no school for the students, not any more.

Time to check the reviews!

...

You guys only left two reviews...

*Sigh*

Guess I'll work with it...

Perseus12- Really? Didn't cross my mind there. I just wanted Adonis to be someone who is very respectful and polite until something bad happens.

And for the gifts...uhh...while I appreciate the enthusiasm, but most, if not, all of those suggestions are unreasonably too much or impossible. Mostly because of the fact that some will clash with the tradition of the Order Empire while the others are way too...unrealistic...I know that it's a fantasy world, but where the hell would Adonis get a Nine-headed Hydra and a pair of Hellhounds? Especially when he JUST stepped foot on Eostia? That would mean that Adonis has to have someone capable of taming beasts. But he doesn't. And for some, they wouldn't actually work with whom they were suggested to. Like Maia, she uses a pair of short swords, not a shield and a spear. If I were her, I would stick to her fighting style as it would be hard to master more than one...unless you happen to be a certain someone who hunts down Goblins for a living or an OP main character with some heavy-duty plot armor, then don't even try it.

godisme- Well the thing is...Magikill are not only magicians, but also inventors...so a Helstorm Rocket Battery showing up is possible. Honestly? It wouldn't be a challenge. Heck, even the weakest "Legendary" Lord can probably raise hell or two. Ludwig Schwarzhelm would probably call something like that "Just another Tuesday" to be honest. While Volt dropping in Warhammer is a nightmare for him, let me just ask you a question...Would anyone NOT from Warhammer survive in Warhammer Fantasy? Sure, they could last for a while, but how long until the Ruinous Powers notice?

Also, godisme, next time you have some questions, do it in a way where I don't have to look up at your question whenever there is a lot of them in a single paragraph. The only reason why I didn't do a one by one paragraph for each question is because I wouldn't want to confuse you if the answers are not in the same format as your style of typing. No offense, but its just a pain, especially now that my eyeglass is broke. I'm literally typing cross-eyed right now.

That is all, to be honest, I expected a lot more. But I can't be picky now, eh?

And Perseus12 and godisme, I appreciate the both of you for being the only two people leaving a review in the last chapter. I appreciate the readers as well, but I appreciate you guys more since you spent the time leaving some suggestions (in Perseus12's case, although they are not accepted at least you tried), and asking some entertaining questions.

Now unfortunately, about the gifts for the Seven Shields, I just decided on those myself.

Now the references from last chapter was:

How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord- The part when Adonis was having his lewd thoughts about touching Prim's breasts.

And

For Honor- The Gladiator's annoying toe stab during Maia and Adonis's spar.

Sadly, no one got them. Even a guest review would have sufficed...

Warning! A satisfying moment in the last part of the chapter ahead!

Anyways, on to the chapter!

I don't own anything except some stuff

Chapter 10- The Party and the Break

Watching servants run around preparing for the upcoming party was quite nostalgic for Adonis. It reminded him of when there was still Inamorta when the only problems he has were the remnants of Chaos and politics.

Now It's increased, but he wouldn't ask for a better solution.

It was either be homeless or be here in Eostia.

Although he could make do without the revealing outfits. Thankfully, the dresses are normal, ones that he is used to.

If the dresses are as revealing as the others...he shivers at that thought.

He'd doubt he would last a day in here.

But now is not the time for that, there's a party going on after all.

'The gifts have arrived safely. Although it looks like some trouble did happen after all, not that I'm surprised.' He thought in distaste as he read what Myr wrote when the shipment was being made.

'To think that the Council would heavily oppose to sending gifts.' He bit his cheek in irritation as he glared at the piece of paper.

'Lack of resources my ass, they just didn't deem it necessary to share! Greedy bastards.' He thought to himself, cursing the Council. Literally, any choice that Adonis makes, the Council will hover over it immediately and make the shittiest of excuses.

Thankfully, Myr was able to stabilize the situation, being Kaldir's apprentice has its benefits, so it seems.

But that doesn't change the fact that the Council, despite their words, are selfish and greedy. If it wasn't for his parents and Kaldir teaching him politics at such a young age, then he would be a puppet of the Council, or worse, dethroned.

The gifts are chosen by himself. Hopefully, he chose right. His decision was based on how he was able to gauge the personalities of the Seven Shields and finding out about their hobbies.

With how each of them acted, then it may not be a problem at all.

"Brother." Turning around, his eyes widened as he saw his sisters.

Akame was wearing a black and red gothic dress with the front of the dress forming a pattern of red roses on the chest down towards the end of the skirt, in addition to that is a golden choker adorned with red jewels. While Kurome was wearing a violet one with frills while a dark blue ribbon was tied behind her head. The dresses they wore complement their looks. With Akame being mysterious beauty, and with Kurome looking like a precious doll.

"Brother." Kurome walked up to him and pulled on his sleeve. Smiling as he looked at his sister, she was looking up at him with a finger pointed to a direction. Said direction happens to be a couple of servants carrying a tray full of sweets.

Chuckling, Adonis rubbed her head gently, causing her to close her eyes and still maintaining her deadpan look.

How she can keep that look while still enjoying things, Adonis will never know.

"Later, the party will start soon. As long as you behave yourself, then you can enjoy yourself. Same goes for you, Akame."

Akame nodded cutely as she kept staring at the leaving tray of sweets...and the meat...and the salad...basically everything that seems edible.

Sighing, Adonis looked outside the window and can already see a few nobles coming out of their carriages. More will come, which is either a good thing or a bad thing.

Among those he knows, only the Seven Shields, his sisters, and the guards he took with him for the trip. The nobles coming out of the carriages and conversing with one another are strangers to him. And to be frank, he would prefer the company of the punchable face of Count Trystan and a few others. At least, with them, he can predict what they have in mind. But these ones? He doesn't know.

They may or may not act like most nobles he knows, but perhaps being in a new land will help remedy that? After all, he spent most of his life in fierce battles via politicking with opportunist nobles. It would be nice not to watch his back against a noble that will no doubt strike once they see an opportunity.

"We have the gifts ready, they are unnoticed by Celestine and the others. There are even a few guards stationed, just in case." Adonis nodded as he closed his eyes and sighed.

"Behave yourselves, and if anyone causes you trouble, just come find me, okay?"

Both sisters nodded, knowing that they won't have the usual bodyguards protecting them from the usual annoyances. Sure, they could ask the guards that escorted them, but it would seem rude to do so. There are plenty enough guards to guard the ballroom. Having personal guards would only make things complicated, so they would have to make do with themselves.

"And don't hog all of it to yourselves."

The sisters flinched as Adonis fixed a playful glare at them, which then morphed into a smirk as both sisters nodded quickly.

There are times when either Akame or Kurome would have fun at his expense, this is the rare few wherein he could turn the tables against them.

"Oh, and I also have an idea."

25 minutes later

As a Shadowrath, blending in with nobles is child's play. The same goes for Akame since she trained with her.

But her brother, Adonis, is a different story.

He is trying, but trying is not enough to succeed.

It baffles her whenever her brother can easily detect her while blending in for him is almost as impossible as telling El he loves her.

Which is very funny since spotting someone sneaking behind you is harder than blending in with people!

Her left eye twitched in annoyance as she watched Adonis drink wine alone, a relaxed smile plastered on his face.

'He is so bad!'

While many nobles formed groups of their own, Adonis is the only one who is alone. Sure, she and Akame are hanging out with Prim, catching some attention. But Adonis being alone takes the cake. Every noble, young or old, was looking at him, some even thinking of approaching him.

Obviously, Prim was worried when she noticed this and was about to voice her concerns and go to him, but she was stopped by the voice of Claudia.

"Her Holiness has come!"

Immediately, everyone stopped what they were doing and watched as Celestine revealed herself all in her glory, walking down the stairs, smiling.

She really did look like a Goddess.

"I, Celestine Lucross, thank you all for attending this auspicious occasion. As you have all already heard, a monarch along with his empire has arrived at our doorstep. I've met the King, and we have come upon an agreement. With this agreement, we are allies. Now, I wish to introduce all of you to Adonis Virknados, ruler of the Order Empire!"

Immediately, Adonis made his move and moved beside Celestine, earning the surprise of many.

Putting a hand on his chest in a formal greeting, Adonis gave a charming smile, which instantly earned the hearts of many young ladies in the room.

"Pleased to meet you, I am Adonis Virknados, King of the Order Empire, and I offer my humble thanks to such a wonderful welcome."

Standing straight, Adonis turned towards Celestine.

"And as the guest, I have come bearing gifts for the Seven Shields." Celestine blinked in surprise as Adonis turned towards the doors.

"Bring the gifts!"

And that's the signal.

The doors immediately opened and in comes two Speartons, and behind them are ten Swordwraths, each of them coming in one by one, carrying something, some carry only one, while the rest have to come in pairs in order to carry what they have. The nobles that got in their way parted like the red sea, making a path for the men.

Each carried the following:

Two casings covered in white cloth, a large barrel, two large chests, a small chest, and a golden jewel box.

"Can I call for the Seven Shields? Your gifts are waiting after all." Adonis said loud and clear as the Speartons and Swordwraths stopped in front of their King.

"What? What? You shouldn't have!" Maia's voice resounded throughout the room as she approached Adonis. Behind her is Ruu-Ruu, bouncing in excitement.

"A gift from the Order Empire, most intriguing."

"I myself decided on these gifts. Please accept them."

"My? A gift from his majesty!"

"First, Lady Alicia."

"Eh? I'm first?" Alicia blinked as she pointed to herself. Prim giggled as she playfully pushed her forward. "Well if you insist."

The first Swordwrath lifted the white cloth, revealing a longsword in its sheathe.

Opening it and taking the longsword, Adonis held the sheathed blade on top of both his hands and held it out to Alicia. Her eyes are mesmerized by it, he can tell.

Just by looking at its scabbard, one can already tell that the sword underneath it is a work of art, a masterwork.

Grabbing the sword, Alicia's eyes widened as she unsheathed it.

SCHWING!

The longsword was sharp, maintained, and shining. The runes running alongside the straight blade glowed brightly for a few seconds before stopping. The sides of the cross-guard were curved, one side curving upwards, while the other downwards.

"This sword is unique. The runes of this sword mean many things; glory, power, determination, but the real meaning is honor and justice. The glow that we saw earlier means that it accepts you as its wielder." Alicia looked shocked as the guests have all began to mutter among themselves.

"This sword has a mind of its own?"

Adonis nodded as he stared at the sword fondly.

"This sword is sentient and can sense the heart of a person. Once it senses your heart, it decides if the person is worthy or not. And judging by the glow of the runes, it accepts you. I was right, your heart is not only special but shining as well." Alicia blushed heavily as she struggled to look at Adonis straight in the eyes.

"I...I thank you for such a gift."

Adonis hummed as Alicia sheathed the longsword in its scabbard and gave him a thankful nod.

"Next, Lady Prim."

She smiled as she approached and waited as the Swordwrath lifted the cloth from the casing.

It reveals a curved bow with a white accent and a black leather grip. The leather grip has an insignia of a raven inside a circle ingrained in it. The string looks thing and barely visible, the only way to tell it was there was that it seems to shine every so often.

"Thanks to our talk about our hobbies, I was able to easily figure out what I should gift to you." Adonis held a cheeky grin as Prim blinked and giggled lightly as Adonis took the bow and gently handed it over to her.

She accepted gratefully as she held it with both of her hands.

It was light.

And felt very right.

Holding the bow as close to her as possible with one hand, Prim gave Adonis a curtsy in gratitude.

Watching Prim walk towards Alicia, Adonis sighed as he chuckled nervously, glancing at the large barrel, he mentally steeled himself.

'Hope she likes it.'

"Lady Maia."

"About time! You can really keep a lady waiting, eh, King?" Chuckling with mirth, Adonis can already hear and see the mutters and the, not so subtle, scornful looks sent to her, however, she doesn't care.

'Seems she isn't well-liked...not that I'm surprised, to be honest.'

"With the short time I spent with you, it was evident that you enjoy drinking. I present to you high-quality ale." He presented the large barrel with one hand as the pair of Swordwraths carrying it walked a few steps forward and stopped.

"Oh, King, you really know a way to a girl's heart, don't cha?" Maia cheered as she reached over and gave Adonis a one-handed hug.

Leaning forward, Maia whispered.

"I'll look forward to drinking it with you, lover."

Pulling back, Adonis has a slight blush as Maia winked sultrily towards him much to Alicia and Prim's ire.

"Lady Ruu-Ruu."

It took him some time to be able to pick out a gift for Ruu-Ruu, but from what he managed to learn, Dwarves love to do two things; drinking and working in a smith.

And since he decided to give Maia the ale, he decided to give Ruu-Ruu something else.

Something new.

He has yet to closely examine their finest weapons and armor, he can only hope that they are better or at the very least equal.

Otherwise, the pride of the Swordwraths as smiths will be damaged.

"Hoho! Can't wait to see what you have for me!" She childishly cheered as she made her way in front of Adonis, shaking in excitement. Adonis smiled at her enthusiasm, nodding towards the pair of Swordwraths carrying the large chest, cuing them to gently lower it and open the chest.

Many were at awe at the shine coming from the chest, bars upon bars stacked together to form a neat...stack...

Ruu-Ruu's eyes gained a shine as she stares at the bars in wonder.

Adonis smiled, pleased that the gamble was in his favor.

"My gift to you is steel from the Order Empire. Made, refined, and tempered by our Swordwraths. They are not only warriors, but they are also smiths. This chest contains enough steel to arm a small army. I think that you will find our steel different from yours."

Ruu-Ruu grinned as she approached the chest and took one bar and began to observe it. If it was possible, her grin became wider the moment she looked at Adonis.

For some reason, Adonis felt a shiver riding down his spine.

And why is Celestine giggling?

"I accept!" Ruu-Ruu shouted as she tackled Adonis and began to hug his torso. Blinking, Adonis chuckled as he began to pat her head, gaining a pleased sound from Ruu-Ruu.

Meanwhile, Akame and Kurome are glaring sharply at Ruu-Ruu.

'Rival!' The both of them mentally thought as they eyed Adonis smiling as he continued patting Ruu-Ruu.

Eventually, she let go and began to hum and skip back with the rest of the Seven Shields.

"Lady Kaguya."

Said Priestess merely hummed and made her way in front of Adonis. She gave him a small nod.

"While my stay here in Ken is short, I have noticed that you enjoy meditating in quiet places whenever I happen to see you when I wander around. So, my gift to you is ten bottles of incense." Adonis gently grabbed the small chest and presented it to Kaguya.

Kaguya gave him a small smile as she took the chest and did a bow.

"I offer you my thanks for such a thoughtful gift, Adonis-sama."

Adonis smiled as he nodded while Kaguya held the small chest close to her chest and returned to her place.

Looking at the woman right beside Celestine, Adonis smiled as he nodded towards her. Claudia returned the gesture with the same smile.

"Lady Claudia."

The moment her name was announced, she took a straight walk towards Adonis, stopping right in front of him. The pair of Swordwraths carrying the last large chest slowly lowered the chest and opened it, revealing eleven sheathed longswords.

"While I would have preferred giving you magical swords just as I did to Lady Alicia. Unfortunately, it takes a long time and many resources to even enchant a single dagger. Instead, I have prepared eleven longswords crafted and tempered by our best Swordwraths. One for you and ten for your subordinates."

Claudia approached the chest and took out the first longsword, unsheathed it, and swung it a few times, she nodded in confirmation and turned towards Adonis with a faint smile of thanks.

"It is a good sword, I accept your gift." She sheathed the sword back in its scabbard and returned the sword back to the chest.

Adonis sighed mentally as Claudia returned to Celestine's side. Looking up at the High Elf, he pursed his lips as he gulped.

Out of all the Seven Shields, Celestine was someone who he barely interacted with. Which was understandable since she was very busy preparing for the party. And the fact that she is the host of said party does not help his situation.

He prides himself on being able to prepare for anything with even the shortest amount of time. But not being able to get a read on Celestine for something as crucial as his current situation was scratching at it.

His train of thought stopped when she gave him a gentle smile that forced a blush out of his cheeks.

Coughing into his fist to hide his blush, Adonis looked at the High Elf.

"And finally, Lady Celestine."

The High Elf smiled brightly as she approached him, her footsteps echoing throughout the room. Her long hair swaying with each step. Her beautiful green eyes shining and looking straight into his red eyes. It was such a beautiful shade of green that he was mesmerized by it.

'Beautiful.'

Her footsteps echoed throughout the room, and only once she was in front of him did he remember about his situation.

Burying what he was feeling down, Adonis turned and approached the last gift.

A golden jewel box.

Taking said item from the Swordwrath's hands, Adonis turned his attention back to Celestine and resisted the urge to look away in embarrassment.

'Why am I feeling like this?!'

Opening the box, he revealed the item to Celestine. Her eyes widening in fascination as she stared at the shining green crystal.

She can see her own reflection from the bright green emerald.

The emerald was shaped like a teardrop, and around it was small golden beads forming the same shape. The thin golden chain was laid out on the red silk inside the jewel box.

"I have picked this gift for it suited you."

'Eh? What am I saying?!'

"When I was thinking of what to gift to you, I was reminded of your eyes. They were as green as this emerald. Full of light and wonder, and also beautiful. Your hair, shining brightly like this chain." His voice is like silk, smooth, and soft. Something that surprises him.

And for some reason, he can see Alicia biting into a handkerchief, Prim was trying to calm her down, Maia was dumbfounded as she stared at him like he had grown another head, Ruu-Ruu was grinning while nodding as if she have approved of something, Kaguya has her brows raised, and Claudia was smiling softly while chuckling.

'When did I become such a smooth talker?!'

The same thought was in Akame and Kurome's minds. Their eyes were glued to him, staring at him in bewilderment. How could they not? The way their brother is talking is different. It is like they're looking at a different person.

'Even brother couldn't talk like that to El!'

"So, I picked this. With eyes as green as this emerald and hair as golden as the rays of the sun. It suits you well, fitting for a Goddess as beautiful as you." Adonis felt a mental twitch on his left eye as his mind tries to come up with reasons as to why he said those.

It sounded like he was making moves on her!

Meanwhile, Celestine was blushing a storm as her attention was kept by Adonis himself. Her heart beating faster with every second. She tried to form words, but she couldn't.

No one had ever complimented her like that.

Sure, she receives praise everyday, but this is different. This was more direct and different, and it struck her to the heart.

'Huh? My heart won't stop beating? Why?' Celestine held both her hands over to her breasts, where her heart is. A blush dusting her white cheeks as she kept her eyes on Adonis's red orbs.

Speaking of...

'Damn it! Now she'll think that I'm a shameless casanova!' Adonis internally cried, not noticing Celestine taking the jewel box from his hands.

"My thanks...I will treasure this." Adonis blinked for a few seconds before his eyes widened as Celestine was smiling.

But it wasn't her smile that surprised him.

No.

It was the fact that she, a beautiful woman is blushing like a cute girl!

Her long ears were drooping slightly, her green eyes are shining, a dust of red was coloring her cheeks, and finally, while holding on to the jewel box, her arms were shuffling around nervously.

'...cute...how can a beautiful woman be so cute?'

"N-No, it is only proper, my lady." Adonis managed to compose himself as he held a hand over his left chest and bowed.

Celestine held a hand over her lips as she laughed softly.

Adonis smiled, managing to forget about what happened earlier, for now.

Turning towards the Swordwraths and the Speartons, he gave them a thankful nod, in which they all returned.

But for some reason, one of the Speartons gave him a wide grin and a thumbs up.

Turning her attention back towards the crowd of nobles, Celestine smiled as she raised her voice.

"Not that this is over, please enjoy the festivities of the night!"

Afterward, everyone went back to what they were doing, with a few glancing at Adonis and the Seven Shields.

Eventually, their gaze settled on the King, him being the guest of honor, and as well as the monarch of a new power in Eostia presented a lot of things for them.

Usually a chance to raise their power and the like.

But they will find that Adonis is a tough nut to crack...that is if they have something to make him crack.

Quickly reaching over to grab a glass of wine, Adonis instantly downed it, not even minding the slight burn passing down his throat.

He has a lot to think about.

1 hour later

After what happened, Adonis was approached by Akame and Kurome, and with some harsh questioning and some somewhat acceptable answers, they left to chat with Alicia and Prim.

And after doing so, he almost drowned to the wave of hands coming toward him. He had shaken hands with many nobles on this very night, and it was one where he would rather forget about it.

Thankfully, Adonis managed to slip himself out of the crowd and into a corner where he watched everything. And while doing so, he was still questioning about what happened earlier

'What was that back there? Did I really mean that? That wasn't me! Argh! So embarrassing!' Adonis mentally berated himself as he bit his lip. Looking at his reflection from the glass, Adonis narrowed his eyes. 'Was that really me? I feel like it was me...bah, forget it!' He thought sourly as he grabbed another glass of wine and began to sip on it.

"Oi, King!" He blinked as he turned to his right, seeing Maia looking skittish as her eyes wandered around. It was different from the usual bold and flirty Maia he knows, something wasn't right.

Turning towards her, Adonis raised a brow when Maia stood in front of him, he can clearly see her sweating.

'What's got her so worried?'

"Hide me." Blinking for a few seconds, Adonis tilted his head in confusion as he tried to make sense of why Maia would ask such a thing.

'I mean it makes sense, but why would she hide?'

"Why?"

"No time to explain, just hide me, okay?" She frantically whispered.

Deciding to not question anymore, Adonis walked towards the large windows.

Standing in front of the red curtains, Adonis motioned Maia with his head, she smiled thankfully as she quickly hid inside it.

Once she was inside the curtains, Adonis nodded as he stood straight, drink his wine, and stare at the moon all the while turning his back behind Maia.

A minute has passed until the doors opened and in came in a very, very fat person.

It was obvious that he was a noble with the clothes, but with how his clothes not fitting him, more specifically his belly, and how it was already stained with what he would hope is food stains, one would mistake him for a pig dressed as one.

He began to look around quickly, his belly swishing around with every move. Adonis's eye twitched as the pig-looking man waddles about, searching for something, or someone, all the while grabbing as much food as he can and stuffing them inside his mouth.

"Great, I think I just found Riev's long lost brother." He muttered to himself in disgust.

Sure, his sisters would do the same given the chance, but at least they eat properly and not with their hands, and they don't talk with their mouths full.

"Ugh, there he goes again, searching for me." He heard Maia's voice behind him, making him agree wholeheartedly, it was one thing to eat messily, but to let it slide down one's clothes down to their exposed skin is just on a whole other level.

He may not be like other nobles, but something inside him despises him. Not hate, despise, like being around him was like a plague, a curse. He didn't know why, but he agreed with it.

His eyes narrowed as the man approached him, his belly jumping up and down disgustingly.

"You there! Have you seen my beloved Maia?"

'Ah, of course. So, that's why Maia asked me to hide her.' Adonis rolled his eyes as he can practically feel Maia shaking behind him in absolute disgust due to the man's wording. And the fact that the man standing in front of him looks like an absolute pig dressed in clothing, and talks like he's the most important person in the world is more than enough reason to know why Maia hid behind him.

"I am talking to you! Speak, you lowborn pissant!" Everyone stopped and looked at the man with wide eyes. He swore he heard someone swore. While behind him, Maia's eyes widened as she tried to hold her breath in.

'He's screwed.'

Adonis glared at the man-no, pig, in front of him. To call him something like that is enough of a reason for him to be executed, if it were up to him, the whining pig would be executed via the Squealing Pig. Seems pretty suitable, after all.

"Are you listening to me?!" Seems he didn't notice the attention on him, or the silent atmosphere, even the music stopped. Too astounded of the utter stupidity happening in front of them.

It was laughable at best, and insulting at worse.

"Answe-" That was as far as the pig got before receiving a strong backhanded slap from Adonis himself. The crowd gasped in awe as the pig squealed in pain as he fell on the floor thanks to the slap.

The slap was sharp and painful, Adonis made sure of that.

"It hurts! It hurts you scu-" Adonis has had enough of it, so he promptly decided to slam his sandaled foot on the pig's bulging belly, causing him to howl in pain.

"Shut up, piggy." He calmly said as he glared down at the struggling pig. He was wheezing as he felt sweat coming off from every pore of his body. His eyes were wide with fear, realizing that he messed with the wrong guy.

The pig tried to speak, but it all came out as gibberish due to his panicking.

His eyes narrowed dangerously cold as he twisted and pressed his foot harder, causing the pig to struggle more.

"All you do is squeal, well? Squeal some more, it's what you're good at." He kicked the pig in the head, breaking his nose. The crowd was still silent, except some footsteps quickly approaching his location.

"Oink, oink..." He mimicked a pig as he readied his leg for another brutal kick. "Oi-" Before he could kick the pig again, he felt a hand quickly land on his left shoulder.

Looking to his left he can see Akame looking at him, worry clear in her eyes. Behind her was Kurome, Prim, and Alicia. All three just as worried and horrified of what was happening in front of them.

"What's going on?!" Claudia's voice boomed as she quickly marched her way towards them. She stopped as soon as she saw what was happening in front of her a small gasp leaving her lips as she watched the pig twitch and struggle.

But what caught her attention the most was Adonis. His eyes were cold, ruthless, and she swore his red eyes glowed for a second.

Calmly, lowering his foot, Adonis turned towards her and nudged his head towards the man.

"He insulted me, I merely had him pay for it."

Cold, his voice was so cold. So different from the warm and cheery voice she had gotten used to in the past few days, and so different to the voice that flirted with Celestine. She had heard him serious, perhaps angry even, but none of those compared to what she's hearing right now.

She couldn't speak, not when Adonis looks angry like that.

"Claudia..." She didn't need to turn around to look at Celestine, she's probably just like her.

"This is but a small mercy from me to him, decide on what punishment this pig will have. I will turn in early for the night." He growled as he walked past everyone, not minding the worried people looking at him.

And Cut! Wooh! Things went spicy quick! Now the last part is actually really important since later on the late chapters, Adonis will question himself, and in turn he will be questioned by others as well. But don't worry, this will not strain any of his relationships with the future harem. I may be cruel, but I'm not THAT cruel.

It just brings out a couple of questions:

WHY did Adonis act like that? Why couldn't he have been the mature one and simply not cause a ruckus, even though he is not in the wrong? (In our point of view anyway).

It WILL be answered, and it'll be fun to write and find out why.

Now onto an update on some stuff.
