POV Rebecca
While Mewtwo tried to evade Giratina's attacks, I tried to find a clue about my body. Suddenly Mewtwo moved to a place where my soul began to shine.
"There it is!" I said, and decided to leave Mewtwo's body.
~ No wait! Remember Suicune's warning! ~ I heard Mewtwo shout, but I ignored that. I left Mewtwo's body and flew in the direction that made my soul shine brighter and brighter. Behind me I only heard the muffled sounds of battle as I entered a cave. It got hotter in here the further I went. When I entered the end of the cave, I was faced with a huge being that was looking at me with a glowing red look.
"Sephirone ?!" I asked fearfully. I had never seen a Pokemon like this before and it looked as if it came in person from hell.
~ Rebecca. It was long ago. I knew I could lure you here. You have probably already thought that Giratina is also under my control. I thought it was the perfect opponent for your brother, as you call Mewtwo. ~ Sephirone said in a dark, eerie voice.
"An unfair opponent, with a type advantage!" I said angrily.
~ Mewtwo shouldn't be bored while we talk. ~ Said Sephiron and grinned angrily.

POV Mewtwo
Giratina made it more than difficult for me to keep an eye on Rebecca. I was still busy dodging his attacks. I could land a hit here and there, but they probably didn't hurt any more than a needle would. I kept trying to follow Rebecca whenever I could briefly distract Giratina. Then suddenly I felt a strong pain in my chest. I saw the entrance to a cave behind me, and the pain told me Rebecca was there and needed help. So I turned away from Giratina and flew into the cave. Giratina didn't follow me, which gave me a short breath. When I reached the center of the cave I found Rebecca's soul. She wasn't as bright as before, darkness seemed to surround her and I heard her whimper. She knelt in front of a huge scary Pokemon like the one I'd seen in my vision in the river. A black Pokemon on 4 legs with black swinging and it looked like magma was going through its body. It had 2 horns on its head. I knew it had to be Sephirone.
Then I heard Sephirone say, ~ If you remember, your connection became strongest years after Mew left your body. You were just human again. I couldn't believe what Sephirone was saying. I remembered Suicune's warning that people's souls are very fragile. Did Sephirone intend to destroy Rebecca's soul by telling her any lies? I had to stop the whole thing quickly, the darkness around Rebecca intensified more and more.
~ Don't! Stop it! Those are lies, nothing more! ~ I shouted.
~ Oh Mewtwo? I see you left your opponent behind. But unfortunately you're too late. Rebecca is already falling into the shadows. ~ Said Sephirone. I rushed to Rebecca's soul, suggested a hug and said: ~ You mustn't listen to him Rebecca. ~
"But ... It's right ... our connection got so strong after I sent Mew away. Why? You hate people. You couldn't love me as a human," said Rebecca, sobbing.

I growled to Sephirone: ~ Shut up! Even if you manipulated me, I'm smart enough not to fall for your tricks! ~
I stormed up to Sephirone and attacked it, but the attacks were even less effective on him than on Giratina.
Could it be that it's a dark type Pokemon? I wondered, and decided to play my trump card. In the 15 years I was apart from Rebecca, she had told me about a Pokemon that was known to be the master of the aura. It was called Lucario and I wanted to learn new skills in order to be able to protect the Pokemon better. So I did an apprenticeship with Lucario and learned the attack aurasphere from him. A fighting type attack. And that's the only element that does significant damage to the Dark type Pokemon.
So I concentrated to conjure up the aura and direct it with full force against Sephiron. Sephiron just laughed angrily and briefly neglected his cover, that was my chance. I hurled a huge, blue glowing auric sphere at Sephiron that briefly fell to the ground as a result of the attack. But I knew that it wasn't that easy to defeat. I turned back to Rebecca, who was still caught in her dark thoughts. Only with her help would I have a good chance against Sephiron. But for that I had to do the mega evoloution.
~ Rebecca, please, don't let the darkness prevail! ~ I shouted desperately, hoping to reach her.
