The Paragon Knights Chapter 3
"Stay down, Dracula is mine!" threatned Moon Knight. "We're on the same side you crazy asshole!" said Sara as she sweep kicked Marc as he backflips to catch himself. Sara gets up as she splits her staff into batons and twirls them into a battle stance. "You're not the only one who can do the fancy baton routine" said Moon Knight as he splits his staff into batons. He rushes her as he goes for a strike as Sara dodges out of the way, she tries to counter but Moon Knight ducks and dodges as he hits her with a kick. Moon Knight goes for a hit with the batons as Sara dodges and hits with her baton. Moon Knight blocks as the sound of metal clangs against each other. A back and forth exchange as Moon Knight and White Canary match each other blow for blown with their batons. Each hit continues to be met with a counter until Sara knocks out Moon Knight's batons from his hands.
"Not so tough now are ya?" asked Sara as Moon Knight quickly tossed Moonerangs knocking Sara's batons from her hands. "Ah shit" cursed Sara as they both rush at each other. Sara goes for punches and kicks as Moon Knight side steps each attack and gets some punches in on Sara followed up by a hook kick. Sara goes for a series of kicks ad Moon Knight blocks them, grabs her leg and tossed her over his shoulder.
Meanwhile Batwoman, Spider-Man and The Legends managed to catch up on the action.
Moon Knight walks over to a downed Sara as he pulls out 3 Moonerangs from his fists trying to go for the kill. "Next time stay out of the way" said Moon Knight with Sara grabbed by her throat.
A web line makes contact with Marc's first stopping him. "MARC WAIT! SHE'S A FRIEND!" shouted Peter as he and the rest arrive in the nick of time. "You heard Spider-Man now let her go!" threatned Kate. "I'm not gonna let Dracula get away because of her!" said Moon Knight. "It's too late for that mate. He's long gone" said Constantine as Moon Knight looks around and sees Dracula dissappeared.
"GODDAMN IT! YOU'RE FAULT!" shouted Moon Knight at Sara. "I'm not gonna say it again, Let her go or I'll kick your ass" said Kate with a Batarang on hand. "Please Marc. We're all on the same side. There's no need for more fighting. Just let her go" pleaded Peter.
Marc reluctantly let's go of Sara. "Sorry" Marc apologized. Sara dusts herself off as she goes for a punch only to be stopped by Spider-Man's web line. "Hey! Like I said, no more fighting." he said.
"Right then *lights cigarette* couple of masked vigilantes teaming up against the bloody prince of darkness. Oh and a Sorcerer. To some extent." said Constantine. "But Doctor Stranger's place is over a few blocks away" said Peter as he turned to point at a direction. "I meant me ya wanker!" said Constantine. "Enough! First off, good to see you Parker. Kate I'm surprised you're even in New York" said Sara. "Yeah we literally just spent the past bunch of hours taking down crime bosses and we were so close to calling it a night" said Spider-Man. "Yeah. What he said" said Kate. "Now answer this question. What the hell do you want with Dracula?" asked Moon Knight. "You first!" Demanded Sara. "It's personal. He owes me money!" said Moon Knight. "Told ya love" added Constantine. "Alright look, Dracula is considered an Encore which means he somehow escaped hell and is time displaced" explained Sara. "Dracula ain't bound by a time period. The bastard may be from hell, but I assure you that his presence isn't some cosmic misbalance or whatever the hell you're trying to sell. Fucker is practically Mephisto's right hand man" explained Moon Knight as he picked up his batons and straps it back on and hands Sara hers. "Mephisto?" asked Sara. "The Devil love." explained Constantine. "Look what matters is now that if we don't stop Dracula once and for all, he'll have a massive army at his disposal. We won't stand a chance" said Moon Knight. "We'll find him then. Together" said Peter. "You always this peppy?" asked Constantine. "He grows on ya" said Kate. "Before we hunt him down, we need to make a stop at my lair. I've prepped myself for this day. If we're gonna kill the King of the Vampires, we're gonna need the tools to do so" said Moon Knight as he calls in his Moon Copter. "Try to keep up" said Moon Knight as he grapple guns his way into his aircraft.
On the Waverider, Batwoman and Spider-Man are on board sitting in their seats strapped in.
"So. Quite the character that Marc Guy" said Sara trying to start a conversation. Kate looks over at Peter since he's known Marc the longest. "Yeah he's uh... A little bit out there" said Peter. "I just wanna get this done and call it a night so I can head back to Gotham" said Kate. "Yeah I wanna go home too" said Peter. "Well no one is going anywhere unless we... somehow kill Count Dracula." said Sara. "He doesn't like to be called that!" said Constantine. "Whatever!" argued Sara. "So ummmm. I don't think we've met. Ava Sharp" said Ava trying to break the tension. "Peter Parker" he replied. "Kate Kane" said Kate also introducing herself. "John Constantine. If ya wondering" said Constantine. "Oh yeah. Doctor Strange told me about you" said Peter. "Figured you know ol Cumberbatch" said Constantine. Constantine the lights up another cigarette as Peter looks over. "You know you really outta quit. It's not really good for the lungs" said Peter. "Mate if it wasn't for the magic inside me, I'd be dying of my diagnosed lung cancer. It's the least of my worries" said Constantine taking a puff. "Oh. Doctor Strange actually has really messed up hands from a car accident while texting on his phone, it was so bad that he couldn't use his hands again until he got his magic from that Sanctum place he talks about...*everyone stares at Peter* okay I'll shut up now" said Peter. "Huh. Small world. Or smaller Multiverse technically" Said Constantine.
"We're here!" said Sara as she sets the Waverider to land.
A pair of elevator doors open as Moon Knight leads the group to his lair.
"Holy SHIT!" said Peter on awe. "And I thought my cousin Bruce was rich." said Kate. "Wayne? Yeah he still has me beat in that department. Always neck and neck with Stark on Forbes Magazine's Billionaire of the Year." said Marc.
Marc then activates a panel as it revealed an armored Black and White suit with his tools and Moonerangs.
"Alright let's grab what we need and go" said Sara. "Hold on. *tosses a belt* these are armed with garlic smoke bombs for emergencies. I told you I've been preparing for this night" said Marc. "Anything else?" asked Constantine. Moon Knight opens an armory of Stake Crossbows. "Those'll do" said Ava as she grabs a crossover.
Moon Knight finishes suiting up as he grabs everything he needed. "We only got one shot at this. So let's make it count" said Moon Knight. "Just asking but uh, what if none of this stuff works?" asked Sara. "Well if watching really old movies taught me anything, fighting vampires we have one hail Mary pass, the sun. We just run out the clock get Dracula into the sunrise." explained Peter. "That's your bloody plan? Hold him off and hope for the sunrise?" asked Constantine. "Well it's 4:45 right now, maybe by the time we reach him, we won't have to kill too much time" said Ava.
"Oh fucking hell" Constantine cursed.
