The Paragon Knights Chapter 5

Dracula growls a loud roar as he charges at Moon Knight. "Ah fuck" cursed Marc as he gets hit with a backhand. He gets sent into a Tombstone as Dracula leaps into the air claws out with intent to impale. Moon Knight rolls out of the way as Dracula's claws hit the ground.

"You're gonna give me my goddamn money or I'm gonna beat the fuck outta you!" said Moon Knight. "Hysterical! But you've still spoiled my fun and for that? I'll paint New York with your blood!" said Dracula.

Dracula slams his fists as Moon Knight rolls and sidesteps out of the way as he tosses a Moonerang. Dracula grabs Moon Knight as he slammed him in the ground and tosses him. But Moon Knight throws his hook chain onto Dracula's back as he pulls him down to the ground.

Meanwhile Ava, Mick and Nate run over towards Sara and Constantine. "We got your S.O.S. What's the plan?" asked Ava as they all see Dracula toss around Moon Knight like he was nothing and Marc surprisingly fighting back. "We gotta help out Moon Knight and buy him some time." explained Sara. Peter finally rises to his feet helping Kate up. "We gotta hit him with everything we got. There's only a few minutes til daylight." added Peter. "We gotta get Dracula into the light somehow." said Kate. I might be able to do that" said Peter as he clutches himself, wincing in pain. "Absolutely not. No chance. I'm not letting you go back out there, not in the condition you're in" Sara protested. "No offense Miss Sara, but like hell you're gonna stop me from saving my city" said Peter as he swings off. "Kid is gonna get himself killed" said Kate. "Shit. Fine, Legends on me!" said Sara as she lead the charge.

Dracula claws and strikes as Moon Knight continues to dodge. He goes for punches as he pulls out garlic covered weapons to try to stab and skewer. As the garlic made contact and burned him, he backhands Moon Knight again.

Dracula goes for the kill as he's stopped by Spider-Man. Spider-Man latched onto his back as he webs up his face. Blinding him. Nate armored up goes for the legs. Mick fires his flamethrower as Sara, Ava and Constantine shot their stake crossbow guns.

Kate runs over to help Moon Knight up. "Did you get him yet?" asked Marc. "No quite" said Kate holding her ribs with one arm as she pulls him up. Marc then looked to the sky as he sees the sun peaking through. "Times almost up. But look, there's a spot where the sun will hit the hardest. We just gotta get his ass over there" said Marc.

"Draw him over there. I got an idea." said Kate as she pulled out a gel device from her utility belt and a garlic smoke bomb.

"OI! Suns coming up!" said Constantine. "BRING HIM OVER HERE!" said Moon Knight as he signaled them over. "PARKER!" shouts Sara. "I'm on it!" said Peter as he pulled and heaved Dracula with all his strength. Nate then pulls Dracula from his feet as Mick blasts him some more with his flamethrower. Sara and Ava kept firing as Dracula had enough and overpowers them all.

"Oh no you don't" said Moon Knight as he fights him closer and closer to the sun spot.

Kate meanwhile was equipping her gel device. "This explosive stuff better work Bruce" she said as she got her last garlic smoke bomb.

Moon Knight hits some punches and kicks forcing Dracula closer and closer but ultimately gets smacked down by Dracula.

"HEY!" shouts Kate. "You!" as you can see I've beaten all your friends. And you're almost out of time. You can't beat me, I'm actually going to win. Ready for another round?" asked Dracula. "Always" said Kate as she has put the garlic covered explosive gel on her knuckles. "WHAT?!" asked Dracula. "I'll never let you win. Never!" said Kate as she runs up to Dracula and gives him an explosive right hand. The gel detonated as it made contact with Dracula's mouth sending them both back. The sun begins to rise and shine onto New York. As Dracula begins to burn, Kate holds her arm as she gets up groaning in pain over her damaged arm with burnt marks on her gauntlet. Standing over Dracula in victory as the sun rises.

Constantine does a restraint spell holding Dracula in place so the sun can do its work. "Is that it?" asked Sara. Moon Knight walks over to Dracula and takes his wallet. He pulls out 20 dollars and pockets it for himself. "Now it's it" said Moon Knight. "20 bucks? We've got out asses handed to us, nearly died OVER 20 FUCKING BUCKS?" asked Sara. "Yep. But I couldn't do this without you all." said Moon Knight. "Yeah yeah, we're fucking square now right Dracky?" asked Constantine. "Fuck off !" shouts Dracula as he burned to ash leaving only his skull. Moon Knight stomps on it, crushing it to dust. "And now, the world can sleep well knowing there's no more Dracula" he said.

"Okay, I've had enough of this shit, time to go" said Sara as she and The Legends leave. "Wait, Kate you need a ride?" asked Sara. "Thanks Lance but I have one on the way" said Kate. "You should get that checked out" said Peter looking at Kate's injured arm. "Appreciate the concern but I'll have it handled when I get back to Gotham" insisted Kate. Peter ignored her as he uses his webs to make a makeshift arm sling to help stabilize her arm. "Yeah well, this should hold ya til you get back at least" said Peter.

Just then, Barry Allen speeds to the scene suited up. "Oh look, my ride's here" joked Kate. "Barry ?" asked Sara. "Oh hey guys. Morning. UHH, John? Pete?" asked Barry. "Barry Allen is The Flash?" asked Moon Knight. "Ummmm. Wait I'm sorry who are you?" asked Barry. "Remember when I told you that New York kinda has its own Batman?" asked Peter. "Yeah? Wait is that the Moon Knight guy?" asked Barry. "Marc Spector. Pleased to meet you" said Marc. "Jesus New York is probably filled with more folks that I thought" said Barry. "After the night Parker and I just had, you'd still be surprised" said Kate. "Speaking of which. You ready to go?" asked Barry. "Yeah actually it's time for us to go to. Nice working with ya Spector" said Sara as she turned to see him gone. "He does that" said Constantine as The Legends took the Waverider and left.

"Give me a second Barry" said Kate as she walks over to Peter and gives him a one armed hug and smiling to his surprise. "I guess we're..."there" yet" said Peter. "Just don't tell Kara. Same goes for you Barry" said Kate. "Oh I'm definitely telling Kara." said Barry and he takes Kate home back to Gotham City.

Spider-Man was all alone. He watched the sun rise and smiled as his city was finally safe for another night. His phone range as he picked up.

"Peter?" asked a voice. "Oh. Hey MJ? You okay?" asked Peter. "You never came home last night. Where are you? What happened?" asked MJ. "Oh where to I begin. Frankly you wouldn't believe me even if I did tell you. But let's just say it was a hell of a night.

Spider-Man swings a web as he leaps off and finally heads home after a VERY long night.
