01. One Moment

Ezreal looked around the room at his group. Vladimir was busy typing away on his phone side him, his crimson polish nails delicately typing away on his screen. His pale skin contrasting against the deep burgundy accents of his clothes. Kayn meanwhile, was walking circles around the middle of their small dorm.

"How much longer is Yuri gonna be?" Kayn asked, his deep voice cutting through the room's silence. Ezreal was unsure how to answer. Yuri had been their manager for the past two years. If she had played their cards right, tonight might be the start of their debut.
"We will know when we know..." Vlad remarked, not bothering to look up from his phone. Ezreal looked towards the door. Either she was on her way here or she would call. "Shall we order some food?" Vlad asked, shaking his phone inviting them.

Vlad had come from an old Russian family. Vlad never had any shortage of money, often offering to treat the group to delicacies. It also often explained his ridiculously expensive fashion taste outside of performances. Kayn sighed, in defeated rejection.
"I honestly don't think I could eat," Ezreal remarked. The sensation of anxiety washing his skin, a tingling akin to the precursor of pins and needles.
"Well, I'm to order some Singaporean food because I am so craving some egg noodles."
As on that remark, Ezreal heard a rumbling start. He looked to Kayn in disbelief. Kayn grabbed his arms around his belly.

Kayne, despite being the tallest of the group was also the lankiest, making him appear even taller. His black hair tied up into a top knot, as to not fall at ridiculous lengths down his back. This month, he had a streak of blue in his front bangs, and a red earing on his left lobe.
"Fine," he accepted in defeat. "Can I have Hainanese chicken?" Vlad nodded.
"I know you won't eat, but if I spend over ₩30,000 I'll get a 10% discount and delivery is free. We can always put yours in the fridge."
"Fine," Ezreal caved. "Just some stir fry noodle dish. I'll trust your choice."
"Okay…"

Ding-Dong!

Ezreal began to stand, but Kayn was already at the door. He watched as his friend forcibly ripped the door open. A woman screamed, running in. She flung her arms around kayn. Her head only reaching his shoulder. Her black gradient died to pink at the end.
"I'm so excited!" She yelped, her voice a sound like a mother, bursting with pride.
"What happened?" Kayn asked, once he managed to breathe, yanking Yuri off of him.

"Shurima Entertainment has offered to take you guys on after hearing your song, Dreamer. However, they want a new EP, comprising of three new songs each around three minutes in length, in addition to Dreamer." Ezreal was unsure how to feel. He was meant to be happy, but somehow he felt more scared than he ever did, prior to this.
"You have two months to develop it, and they also would like you all to move to their dorms. So, what do you say?"

One Moment [105 BPM]

VERSE #1
My mother once used to say, that rain was just the heavens crying for what was lost.
If that were true, why was it dry? The clouds unable to pour?
Was my pain unjustified, or was it tossed aside?
Or will angels cry no more?

When you fled, I felt my heart drain.
How could I return to the darkness?
Without your light by my side, fear began to reign.
So I recalled your words, your simple laugh, and in that hope I fell again.

PRE-CHORUS
I think the moments we shared will remain here forever.
You may have left a leaking scar, but it is one I wear with pride.
Both good and bad, both dead and new.
A reminder of what was lost and gained, where I smiled in pain.

CHORUS
All it took was one moment, that was all you needed.
A few words and my whole world began to glow.
Like the wounds that have yet to heal, and from the pain of us apart, it grows, but those feelings I hold won't let go.
If you were here, I want to know what you'd say. Me, desperately holding these moments of woe.

VERSE #2
My father once said, anything was possible,
but how is it possible to be happy without you?
You never even gave me a chance to say goodbye,
or even wave you off. How is that fair? After all we have been through?

If I could, I would stay by your side,
Instead of knowing what would happen tomorrow.
You may have gone to rest in your room,
But all that was left for me, was the sorrow.

PRE-CHORUS
CHORUS

BRIDGE
I may be weak,
I may be lost,
But I know my worth.

I will stand,
I will grow,
It's time for a rebirth.

REVISED-CHORUS
All it took was one moment, that was all I needed.
A few songs and my whole world began to glow.

The wounds may sting, but in time new skin will grow,
but those feelings I hold, act as a reminder of you.

If you were here I'd hold you again, but you aren't
So it's time to be someone new.
