DONT SKIP
I'm a very unmotivated person, and this story is the first time 5 years that I was able to write something past 1000 words other than an essay. However, I've lost motivation, but I truly believe it will return at some point.
Most of my motivation comes from results, as much as I hate to admit it. If something doesn't perform well, then I kinda lose motivation. And sometimes, such as this story, if something performs well enough I still lose motivation.
I do write for this quite a bit, but it's mostly just because I know I have the ability to enjoy it, I'm just not. I motivate myself enough to start writing, I write a few hundred words, then I get bored and do whatever I want.
Another thing is my own thoughts about my writing. I know what a good story is. I read them, I try to think about what makes them so good, and why I enjoy them so much. One thing is chapter length. I see these fantastic stories that have AT LEAST 5000 words a chapter, and I'm stuck trying to figure out how to write so much. I guess it's all in the detail, but I struggle to write so much without it feeling like I'm just repeating things I've written. All of these stories write so much without feeling boring or repetitive.
So yea, I'm just writing this to emphasize the fact that updates WILL COME, but on my own time. They will be far and few in between. Maybe that's kinda a good thing because I'll be a better writer each time I come back.
I think that should be all, don't expect consistent updates, and here are some recommendations.
Blade of Demon Salvationby Manu259
Branching Paths by SkywardStrike
Kimetsu No Yaiba: Demonic World by DemonLordGalm. This one is my personal favorite story in the fandom.
avatarquake writes a lot well-written oneshots.
