The crystal gems: Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Lapis Bismuth and Peridot were sitting on the beach. Stardust sat in front of them in front of them. she was very small.

"Go ahead sing it" Pearl asked. "Okay!" The dragon said determined. "So... a parody of our theme song?" Amethyst giggled.

The dragon started to sing. The gems clapped in tune.

Lapis, Peridot and Stardust!

The gems clapped. "That was great singing!" Pearl complimented.

"One day we will all defeat black diamond". Amethyst stood up and walked over to the dragon and cuddled her. Stardust on her hind legs only was about half of Amethyst's height. Her scales glittered in the sun light.

Six months ago...

Amethyst walked into the house with an egg and a note, Pearl and Garnet looked at her. They read the note.

"Black Diamond?" Pearl questioned quietly. The gems looked at the egg and it started to move. "When whatever creature in this egg is fully grown or dead Black Diamond will attack us!, we don't know who Black diamond's is or what her powers are so we need to be prepared for a fight". Garnet told everyone. She knew the egg was going to hatch the next day.

The next day the three gems met in a large field with the egg in case it would do somthing when it hatched. They stood in a line next to each other ready to attack and defend if needed, the egg was lowered on a patch of grass. It started to move, a crack formed, the egg started to break open, two small white feet with claws on the end poked out and the shell collapsed revealing a small tired helpless yet strange creature. It was white with slightly pink marks around the eyes, nose and tail fins, it opened it's sky blue eyes and looked at the gems.

Five and a half months after she had hatched she was introduced to the other gems...

They all were on the field where she had hatched, the three stood near the warp pad.

"Where are they?" Stardust asked she sat happily on Garnet's head, she didn't mind. The warp pad started to glow and three more gems appeared. They all walked off onto the ground then started to introduce themselves.

"Lapis" The blue gem quietly said. She summoned her water wings and smiled. "Peridot" The smaller green gem introduced. The larger gem was about to introduce herself "B-" "Ugly Mc-Rainbow head!" The dragon gladly interrupted the other gem, everyone looked at her in confusion. Amethyst tried to not giggle "How random!".

"Stardust... that was quiet rude!" Pearl scolded. "You only met, yet you hate her already" Garnet stated. The dragon seemed proud of herself. "Can I create nicknames?" The dragon wondered, "Nickname time!" She shouted gleefully. The large gem that Stardust insulted earlier walked back onto the warp pad and warped away. "Good she is gone" Stardust pointed out, the other gems sighed.

"Why don't you like her? You both just met?" Pearl asked. "Eh, I don't have to like everyone" Stardust replied. "True but... I would like you to apologize?" Pearl asked. "You must apologize" Garnet told her. Stardust sighed annoyed. She spent time talking to Lapis and Peridot about their past and getting to know them, she even found some pretty flowers to give to them. Garnet picked up Stardust and all the gems got onto the warp pad. The next thing she knew she was sitting in front of the grey gem who was looking at her, the other gems were behind her waiting for her to say something.

"Look, I am only five and a half months old but yet I know that you cannot impress everyone and, and I can talk" Stardust muttered. Garnet tapped her foot on the ground. "I know you gems are thousands of years older than me, I created some nicknames so how bout you choose one?" Stardust kept going as Pearl sighed annoyed. "Alright here is a list, Dreadlocks, Rainbow, Sprinkles, Jelly, Ca-" Stardust was interrupted by Pearl picking her up. "Let's try again another day" Garnet said annoyed.

The three gems warped back to the house on the beach. "Those were great nicknames" Amethyst whispered. Pearl scolded her.

"If you don't like someone you can't just be rude, would you like to be treated like that? I know that no gem - or any living things would like to have someone be rude to them"

"She just happens to be my least favorite Crystal Gem" Stardust replied.
