It has been two days since Stardust had learned she had plasma fire.

Stardust was asking Garnet a question. "It's been weeks since I had seen Opal for the first time, so can I see the gems who fuse into you yet?" Stardust then had a flashback from when she first saw Opal.

Garnet Pearl and Amethyst stood on the beach, they talked about what to do about Black Diamond. "I never heard of Black Diamond my whole life" Pearl said slightly worried. Stardust quickly and happily rushed over to them. "Amethyst! Pearl! I have a big question!" The two gems looked at her while Garnet smiled and walked away. "Fuse Opal? Pleeeeeaase?" She begged. The two gems smiled.

"Alright then..." Amethyst and Pearl hugged and span around, their forms started to glow and merge, it started to change shape. Then a tall gem, Opal stood in front of Stardust who was amazed. She noticed that she had four arms and her gems were a similar colour. "I have questions" Stardust said, Opal smiled. "Do all fusions have multiple gems?" Stardust asked. Opal nodded.

"Do they all have four arms? Do they have the same weapons as who fused into them? Can a fusion poof? Can a non fusion Opal exist? Can all gems fuse? Are fusions always big? If a gem of the same gem type fuses with another of the same gem type what happens? How big can a fusion be? Do you guys share the same brain and memories?" Opal was slightly surprised by all the questions.

"Not all fusions have four arms, fusion can have multiple eyes or legs too, Not all the time, yes, I am sure there is, I don't think all gems can fuse, not always, they appear as a bigger version of the gem, very big, Alexandrite is bigger than yellow diamond, uh..." Opal looked at her "oops..." Opal started to glow and split up separating into Pearl and Amethyst they both looked at her.

"That was the surprise!?" Pearl asked. Amethyst got a little nervous "Yeah... whoops...". "Please do not tell anyone!" Stardust shouted. Stardust started to think "Hmmm... Garnet has two gems and three eyes..." Stardust walked to the house, entered and walked to Garnet. "Hey, I think I solved your mystery!" Stardust said happily Garnet smiled at her. "You are a fusion!, it makes sense!, you have three eyes and two gems!".

"Yep" Garnet told her. Amethyst and Pearl approached them "Garnet, can you show me the two gems who fuse into you?" Stardust asked.

"Not now, maybe someday" Garnet replied and patted the dragon.

Present day Stardust was still waiting for an answer. "Not now" The fusion declined. Pearl came rushing into the house with a worried look on her face "Read this message!" She shouted.

"What a strange letter" Garnet stated. "Do you think the diamonds may know?" Amethyst asked.

"It's worth a shot" Garnet replied. "But I never heard of Black Diamond, in the years I knew Pink Diamond, neither she or any of the others mentioned Black Diamond" Pearl said, but she did agree to ask the Diamonds. "I will try to contact them" Pearl said as she walked away.

Hours later.

Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, Lion, Stardust and Connie were standing in the house chatting. "The Diamonds should be here soon" Garnet told everyone. The warp pad started to glow and then Peridot, Lapis and Bismuth appeared. Bismuth was covered in multicoloured glitter, Peridot and Lapis were giggling, there was also a little bit of glitter on them too. Pearl was trying not to giggle and asked "What happened to you?". "Glitter trap" Bismuth said as she smirked a little. Garnet was smiling while Stardust and Amethyst were laughing. "So that is why you asked me to bring you guys glitter yesterday?" Connie asked Stardust and Amethyst who both nodded. Amethyst went to the warp pad and warped away after saying "be right back!" A few minutes passed and she came back with a camera "let's watch it!" She said.

Later they were watching the video on a laptop.

Bismuth was waking to the warp pad with Peridot and Lapis "Garnet told us we need to go" She told them. She got onto the warp pad with the two gems. Then a bunch of glitter fell on them, Lapis and Peridot were able to get out of the way quick enough so they didn't get covered but they still got a lot on them. The bigger gem was absolutely covered in glitter, the two giggled a little while Bismuth was surprised. She wipped some of the glitter off her face "Really?" She said slightly annoyed before they warped.

The video ended and everyone was laughing. "Who's idea was that? Bismuth asked. "It was stardust's idea, me and Garnet helped set it up" Amethyst replied. Garnet gave the three the note from Black Diamond for them to read. They were a little confused on the note.

"I have sent this message to your planet with the coordinates to my planet if you want to come early. I hope you have ship ready becouse I have everything planned and ready. From Black Diamond"

Peridot and Lapis started to wipe the glitter off themselves. "We could train if they have an attack planned" Bismuth suggested "Good idea, Sparkles!" Stardust told her. Garnet smiled and had an idea on what to do. "Oh, the Diamonds are here!" Pearl said when she spotted the giant gems out the window. The gems all happily walked out onto the beach, Peridot and Bismuth had forgotten to wipe all the glitter off themselves. When the Diamonds spotted them they smiled. "Huh? What happened to her?" Yellow asked when she saw the two covered in glitter. "Uh.. it's glitter" Peridot replied. When they got close to the Diamonds Lapis chuckled a little, she had created a large ball of water and had it floating above the two glitter covered gems "Goodbye glitter" Lapis said. She let the water loose and it went crashing down onto the two gems washing most of the glitter away.
