Rosario Vampire: Monsters and Conduits

Keith Gravez is a sixteen-year-old boy attending Yokai Academy for the first time with a goal to survive and graduate. Unfortunately for him, Yokai Academy is a school for adolescent monsters and they will kill any human who finds his or her way onto the premises. Luckily for Keith, he's not an average human and is actually Conduit with powerful abilities. How will things turn out?

1. Chapter 1: First Day At Yokai

[Chapter One: First Day At Yokai]

[At a bus stop]

"What's taking so long? the bus should've been here five minutes ago, I hope he/she's not running late" said a blonde-haired boy in annoyance while looking at his phone

The blonde-haired boy lets out a sigh before walking over to the nearest bench and sitting down. It took a few minutes of waiting, but soon enough, the bus arrives earning a smile from the young man. The blonde-haired boy grabs his bag and proceeds to make his way onto the bus. The bus wasn't crowded, in fact, there were only two people which consisted of the bus driver who had a creepy look and a brown-haired boy. With a quick shrug, the blonde-haired boy goes to the back of the bus and sits near a window.

"Yokai Academy...That's what they call it" the blonde-haired boy said before continuing "Hopefully, I can get through the school year without any complications"

Seeing this as a good opportunity to start a conversation with the two boys, the bus driver opens his mouth and begins to speak

"Are you youngins new to Yokai Academy?" the bus driver asked

"Yeah" the brown-haired boy replied with a nod

"What about you, blondie?" the bus driver asked, directing his eyes towards the other young man

"This is my first year here as well" the blonde answered before continuing "What's it to you anyway?"

"I have some advice for the both of you" the bus driver stated before continuing "Prepare for everything that's going to be thrown at you...The school you're going to is a school that doesn't mess around and will maul you without warning or mercy"

The brown-haired boy has a look of horror on his face, while the blonde-haired boy has a look of confusion. Was the bus driver telling the truth? or was he pulling some sort of sick prank just for shits and or giggles?. Regardless of whether that man was telling the truth or not, the young man was determined to graduate and he wasn't going to let anything or anyone stop him. Right then and there, the bus comes to a stop and was currently parked in front of a creepy-looking forest.

"Okay, that's not spooky at all" the blonde-haired boy said as he stared at the forest

"Here's your stop, boys" the bus-driver said with a wicked smile as he pulls out a cigar before lighting it and continuing "You do well to remember what I told you *chuckles*"

"What's this dude's deal?" the blonde-haired boy asked himself mentally before continuing "Is he trying to get us killed or something?"

[Later on, outside the bus]

"Good luck...You're going to need it" the bus driver said as he closes the bus door before pulling off

"Jesus Christ, that guy is such a weirdo, not to mention a total nutcase" the young man said before continuing "What's so scary about this place that you need to remind us three times to watch our backsides? do the teachers eat the students or something?"

"You shouldn't worry about that guy, he's probably trying to scare us because we're freshman" the brunette said

"I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case" the blonde said before continuing "Freshman tend to get ragged on just for being newbies"

My name is Tsukune Aono" the brown-haired boy introduced himself before continuing "Seeing as we're going to be attending the same academy together, we might as well introduce each other, you never know when we'll meet again"

"The name's Keith Gravez [pronunciation: Grav-ez]" the young man greeted with an introduction of his own

"Pleasure to meet you" Tsukune said politely

"Same here I guess" Keith said before continuing mentally before continuing "He seems pretty nice, however, looks CAN be deceiving"

[Deep within the forest]

"Ugh, where is that damn academy?" Keith groaned before continuing "We've been walking for hours and this forest is getting weirder by the second"

"We've been walking for a few minutes" Tsukune pointed out before continuing "The map says that the building is just up ahead"

"Finally" Keith said in happiness

The two young men went on to continue their walk until a large group of bats decides to swarm around them catching them off guard. Tsukune covered his head in fear, while Keith was trying his darnest to punch the bats. Unfortunately for Keith, the rodents were too fast for him and the only thing he was hitting was the air. Eventually, the bats stop harassing the two and leave to do something else. Keith and Tsukune were about to walk away until they hear screaming.

"What now?" Keith rolled his eyes

"I think somebody's in dan-" Tsukune gets cut off mid-sentence as a bicycle's front tire hits him right in the face

"Holy shit!" Keith said in surprise before continuing "I know for a fact that had to hurt

The blonde-haired boy runs up to Tsukune and thoroughly checks him to see if he has any cuts or bruises. Luckily, Tsukune only has a minor injuries which is a small lump and a measly scratch that could be treated later on. The brown-haired boy gets himself together and proceeds to pick himself up only to stop midway as he feels his hand touching something soft and slightly squishy. Tsukune looks down and sees his hand touching the thigh of a girl. With a scream, Tsukune quickly back away while Keith looks on in amusement with a small dose of jealousy.

"Ouchie..." said the young female as rubs her head

The young woman is drop-dead gorgeous as she has a fair-skin complexion with knee-length bubblegum-pink hair ,followed by green eyes and a cute, girl-next-door face. The young woman is wearing the Yokai Academy school uniform which consists of a green blazer with a white long-sleeved buttoned shirt underneath. Lastly, the young girl is wearing a plaid skirt with navy-blue stockings and black shoes.

The pink-haired girl slowly looks up and spots two young men standing beside her. The pink-haired girl directs her attention to Keith before analyzing him and his features. Keith is a young man that has golden-blonde hair that is short yet messy and all over the place. Other than his hair, Keith has a light tan-like skin complexion which is accompanied by his electric blue eyes. Last but not least, Keith is wearing an outfit that's quite different from your average Yokai Academy uniform. Keith is wearing a white short-sleeved buttoned shirt with black jeans and sneakers which were red and black, alongside that, he's wearing wristbands that have silver spikes on them. The pink-haired girl then turns to Tsukune before doing the same thing. In terms of appearance, Tsukune is a handsome Japanese boy. Tsukune has black hair, brown eyes, and has a relatively athletic and slender physique. Tsukune wears the same thing as the pink-haired girl, but instead of a skirt he wears khaki pants with dark-brown shoes

"Uh...Hello?" Tsukune waved nervously before continuing mentally "She gorgeous, who is the girl?"

"Oh my gosh, you're hurt" the pink-haired girl said in a worried tone

The young girl quickly picks herself up and goes over to Tsukune before pulling out a hanker chief and wiping his cut which had a bit of blood on it. The pinkette went on to do this for a couple of seconds until she suddenly stops

"Is everything okay?" Tsukune asked

"Your blood...It smells so good" the pink-haired girl said softly

"What?" Keith asked in confusion with his eyebrow raised

"What're you talking about? what does my blood have to do with this?" Tsukune asked, wondering why the young woman was starting to act weird

"I'm deeply sorry about this" the pink-haired girl apologized

The pink-haired girl grabs Tsukune's face and pulls him up close which causes him to get nervous even more. The young woman tells poor Tsukune that she's a vampire right before sinking her teeth into his neck which made him scream in pain. Soon enough, the pink-haired girl comes back to reality and pulls away in a heartbeat with a look of embarrassment on her face. Keith, on the other hand, was totally confused and was having a hard time processing what he just witnessed, the pink-haired chick came in and sucked her friend's blood as if she was some sort of Vampire

"YOU BIT ME! WHY ON EARTH DID YOU BITE ME!?" Tsukune cried out while running in circles

"I'm very sorry about that..." the pink-haired girl frowned before continuing "It's just that your blood smelled so good and I couldn't control myself, I'm hoping that you'll forgive me"

At that moment, Tsukune stops freaking out and puts his hand on his neck. To his surprise, Tsukune didn't feel anything, no blood, no bite marks, no nothing. Tsukune began to wonder if she used something else to extract the blood.

"I'm Moka Akashiya" the pink-haired girl introduced herself with a smile before continuing "In case you didn't know, I'm a vampire"

"Hold the phone for a few seconds" Keith said before continuing "You're a vampire? the same kind that sucks the blood away from their unfortunate victims?"

"Mhm, that's correct" Moka said with a smile before showing off her vampire fangs

"Well shit on me and call me Charlie, this type of thing is something you don't see nor hear every day" Keith said in amazement before continuing "I never knew vampires existed, I mean there was that one rumor in New Marais about vampires roaming the streets at night, but most people dismissed it as a rumor made by that Zeke Dunbar dude"

"Are you guys also going to Yokai Academy as well?" Moka asked

"Yeah, it's our first day here" Tsukune answered with a nod

"That's great, I'm a freshman as well" Moka said with a smile

"Good to know" Keith said

"Sorry to bring this up all of the sudden, but do you hate vampires?" Moka asked nervously, hoping she would get a good answer

"Not at all, vampires are alright in my book" Tsukune answered

"Yeah, they seem pretty cool to me" Keith said

With a squeal of happiness, Moka jumps forward and proceeds to give her new friends a big hug. Unfortunately for Keith and Tsukune, Moka has abnormal strength and the hug of friendship was quite painful...For Tsukune at least. It didn't take long for Moka to release them from her powerful grasp, with Tsukune slowly regaining oxygen and Keith fixing his back.

"Jesus Christ on a stick, pinky here is unbelievably strong" Keith said mentally as he looks at his arm before continuing "I should really visit the gym one of these days"

[Later that day, in a classroom]

"Good morning everyone and welcome to Yokai Academy" said the homeroom teacher

In terms of appearance, the homeroom teacher is quite stunning, which earned her the attention of a few students (mostly boys). This teacher in particular carries a young appearance which is accompanied by her nice body and beautiful face. To be specific, the teacher has sandy-blonde hair with a good potion being formed like cat ears. As for clothes, the teacher is wearing an orange tank top with a white blouse over it followed by a jean skirt and white sandals. What made this teacher stand out the most was that her eyes wear closed and she has a tail poking out of her skirt.

"My name is Shizuka Nekonome and I will be your homeroom teacher this year" the teacher said happily

"She seems nice" Keith said mentally while messing around with his pencil

"I'm sure you all know this by now, but Yokai Academy is an incredibly unique school that is built purposely for monsters" Shizuka said

"What the hell?" Keith asked mentally before continuing "A school built for monsters? that's the craziest thing I've ever heard...Then again, people like me DO exist, so the idea that monsters are real wouldn't sound TOO farfetched, either way, it's still weird"

"Our current problem is that the world is under the control of humans, in order for us monsters to survive, we have no choice but to continue to peacefully coexist with the humans" Shizuka said before continuing "At this academy, you will be studying how to coexist with humans"

"MONSTERS!? WHAT IS SHE TALKING ABOUT!?" Tsukune asked mentally before continuing "THERE'S NOW WAY THIS SCHOOL IS FILLED WITH MONSTERS!"

"For that reason, school rule number one: all students must be in their human form unless a special situation arises" Shizuka said before continuing "That brings us to rule number two: no other student at this academy should know about your true form, is that understood?"

"Yes, ma'am" the class responded

"Perfect" Shizuka said happily before continuing "We're off to a great start"

"What a bunch of boring rules" said a dark-brown haired kid with a scoff while his feet were on the desk

"You are *goes through attendance sheet* ah-ha, you're Saizou Komiya" Shizuka said

"Would it not be better for us to eat up those puny-ass humans and in the case of beautiful girls, better to molest them?" Saizou asked with a wicked and evil smile

A dark scowl slowly forms on Keith's face as he was starting to dislike this Saizou fellow. Saizou and his rapist mindset reminded him of a few people back in Seattle who force themselves upon many females.

"I would advise that you not do that, Mr. Komiya" Shizuka frowned before continuing "The school's staff and students from head to toe, are all monsters; we're all in a barrier, any unsuspecting humans who enter the school...Will be killed immediately"

"K-K-Killed..." Tsukune said to himself as he drops the book he was using to cover his face

"Are there any other questions?" Shizuka asked before continuing "Come on now, don't be shy"

"Right over here" Keith said with his hand raised

"Ask away" Shizuka said

"This is sorta confusing to me, if you're just gonna ice any human that stumbles upon this place, doesn't that defeat the purpose of Yokai Academy?" Keith asked with an eyebrow raised before continuing "It doesn't make much sense how this school was built for young monsters in order to teach them how to coexist with humans, yet you'll kill them right off the bat once you come in contact with them"

"*Scoffs* what kind of lame question is that?" Saizou asked before continuing "That sounds like something a human would say"

"No, it sounds like something a person with morals would say" Keith argued

Before anything could escalate any further, Moka walks into the classroom causing all of the students to give their attention to her. A good portion of the boys with the exception of Keith and Tsukune were going absolutely ballistic because of how beautiful she was and how great her body looked, while the girls, on the other hand, were quite jealous of Moka and her stunning features. Needless to say, Moka gained a lot of attention in the span of a few minutes and all she did was walk inside of a classroom. If Moka had a wish to be popular...Wish granted.

"I'm very sorry for being tardy" Moka apologized before continuing "I had a hard time trying to find my class"

"No worries, go ahead and introduce yourself" Shizuka said as Moka walks up to the class

"Good morning, my name is Moka Akashiya" Moka introduced herself politely before continuing "It's a pleasure to meet you all"

"Goddamn, check out that smokin' body"

"Is she single? please tell me she's single"

"The things I'd do to her *whistles*"

"Looks like some people don't know how to keep it in their pants" Keith said to himself before continuing "That's to be inspected, though, we are in high school after all"

It didn't take long for Moka to get embarrassed due to the attention she was getting. She was about to tell them to stop until she notices Keith and Tsukune. Since Keith was far away from Moka, she did the next best thing and pounce on Tsukune earning dark and scary glares from most of the students...Including Saizou who had a severe look of jealousy and anger on his face

"This is perfect, we're in the same class together, I'm so happy" Moka said excitedly while hugging Tsukune tightly

"M-MOKA! Y-YOU'RE C-C-CRUSHING ME!" Tsukune cried out as he was furiously tapping the floor

"What's up with that dork? what relation does he have with that hottie?"

"I don't know and I don't care, all I know is that he's dead"

[Later that day, in the hallway]

"Judging by the looks on their faces, It's pretty clear that they're not happy with what they're seeing" Keith said mentally as he was examining the students before continuing "It's only a matter of time before the male population gets fed and decides to attack us out of envy and fear"

Keith, Tsukune, and Moka were currently walking through the hallway with a good portion of the school eyeing Moka. Everything was all fine and dandy until Moka pulls Tsukune close to her making all the boys jealous

"You gotta be freakin' kidding me! what's so awesome about those two dorks?"

"Why don't we just kill them? It'll make everything much easier"

"I like the way you think"

"It's the first day of school and blood wants to be spilled...Over a female no less" Keith said with a sigh as he shakes his head before continuing "People really confuse me at times"

"Yo cutie pie, can I talk to you for a second?"

The trio turns around and they see Saizou standing in front of them with a smug look on his face. A scowl slowly forms on Keith's face yet again as he is not happy that Saizou is here. Keith clenches his fist and was about to walk up to Saizou until Tsukune stops him

"What do you want with me?" Moka asked taking a few steps back

"If I remember correctly, your name is Moka Akashiya, correct?" Saizou asked

"Y-Yeah" Moka nodded

"Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Saizou Komiya" Saizou said

The dark-brown haired boy calmly walks up to Tsukune and Keith and lifts them up by their shirts. This act shocks Moka as she tries to get Saizou to stop what he's doing while repeatedly calling out to him.

"Can you explain to me why a beautiful lady like you is associating with wimpy losers like these two?" Saizou asked cockily before continuing "A cute girl such as yourself deserves something better y'know"

At that moment, Saizou turns around and does the unthinkable. Saizou mercilessly throws Tsukune onto a group of students while throwing Keith onto a nearby vending machine

"You...You jerk!" Moka cried out in anger before continuing "What compelled you to do that!? those are my friends you just injured!"

"C'mon, babe, I was doin' you a favor" Saizou smirked before continuing "People will treat you differently if they see you hanging out with gnats"

"Those "gnats" you just threw are my friends and they're nice people" Moka argued before continuing "You can't just hurt people for the heck of it, it isn't nice and it's very disrespectful"

Before the bully could make a counter-argument, two soda cans get thrown at the back of his head causing him to growl and turn around in search of the suspect. Saizou turns to Tsukune who is currently lying on the ground before turning to Keith who is currently holding up a soda can

"You little rodent!" Saizou growled before continuing "I"m going to enjoy squashing you"

"Funny you mention, I feel the exact same way" Keith said as he grabbed his bookbag and threw it onto the floor

The two students looked at each other with anger in their eyes and were about to engage in a violent brawl until Moka intervenes by grabbing Keith's arm and dragging him away. Moka walks over to an unconscious Tsukune and drags him away as well leaving the students to watch in awe and confusion. While Moka wanted Saizou to get his comeuppance for what he had done, she didn't want Keith to get in trouble on the first day of school and was hoping that a student what tell one of the teachers what Saizou did. As soon as Moka and her friends take off, Saizou picks up a nearby can using his tongue and crushes it with no effort earning a few whispers from the spectators

"It's that Saizou Komiya guy from earlier"

"He seems like he's probably one of those ill-mannered suspicious rogue monsters"

"He sounds like quite a ladies man, from all the human women he's molested"

"They say he caused too many problems out there in human society and was forced into this academy against his will"

[Outside the academy, on the roof of the building]

"Man, that was really scary" Moka said before continuing "Who knows what would have happened if I didn't step in"

"You shouldn't be afraid of that Saizou guy" Keith said before continuing "He's just some two-bit asshole who thinks he's some sort of badass, I've seen grandma's stronger than him and they're usually supposed to be sweet and friendly"

"I still can't believe he threw me like that" Tsukune said while rubbing his back before continuing "It's almost as if he was trying to kill us"

"Now that you bring that up, how're your injuries treating you?" Keith asked before continuing "When Saizou threw you at those students, it looked pretty painful"

"Yeah, it was" Tsukune said before continuing "It felt like I hit a metal wall or something along the lines; what about you? getting slammed into a vending machine isn't exactly enjoyable"

"At least you're alright" Moka said with a smile

"There's that" Tsukune said as he looks at the sky before continuing mentally "So that's the power of a monster...If Saizou is strong enough to throw me with little to no effort, I can only imagine what everyone else can do; was sending me here really the right choice?"

"Are you alright, Tsukune?" Moka asked in a worried tone before continuing "You seem out of it at the moment"

"Dorry worry, I'm doing just fine" Tsukune replied before continuing "I'm just thinking right now"

"About what?" Moka asked

"I'm just thinking about Yokai Academy, it's nothing too serious" Tsukune responded

"Oh Tsukune you're so funny" the pink-haired girl said with a little chuckle as she is hitting Tsukune on the back before continuing "You're like you've never seen monsters before"

"Sure...Let's go with that" Tsukune said to himself

"Speaking of monsters, what kind of monsters are you guys? I forgot to ask earlier" Moka said

"You do know that revealing your race to another person is against the rules right?" Keith asked, avoiding the personal question

"Oh shoot, I totally forgot about that" Moka said in embarrassment before continuing "Just go ahead and disregard that last question"

"I don't mean to be rude, but I can't really see you as anything except a normal human Moka" Tsukune said

"Yeah, you look like an ordinary person...Who has apparently has pink hair for some unknown reason" Keith said before continuing "Did you dye it before you came here or was it something else?"

"I can assure you that I'm one hundred percent vampire" Moka said with a hint of pride before continuing "My reasoning for looking like a normal girl is because of my Rosary *points to her cross-shaped item on her choker* when I take this off, I become a real vampire who's evil, scary, and really powerful"

"Interesting" Keith said with before continuing mentally "A powerful vampire...That's something I'd like to see for myself"

"Rosaries have the effect of sealing off a vampire's power" Moka explained before continuing "Since in my original form I was hated and caused conflict, so I put this Rosary on myself so I'd keep my vampire powers sealed"

"Moka used to be evil and scary...It's hard to believe that this gentle girl used to be a menace" Tsukune said mentally before continuing speaking "Is there anything else we need to know about you"

"One more thing, even if our power is sealed, we do still end up craving blood" Moka said as she gets close to Tsukune

"Umm..." Tsukune said nervously

"Blood is my weakness~" Moka said as she bites Tsukune on the neck

"YOUCH!" Tsukune cried out in pain while squirming around

"Good lord, Moka, you really need to learn how to control yourself" Keith said with a chuckle

"I'm sorry, his blood smells so good, I just can't help myself when I get near him" Moka said with a blush on her face

At that moment, the bell goes off in a loud manner signaling that it's time to go back to class. The three friends grab their stuff and proceed to leave the rooftop unaware that a female was watching them from the distance. All of the classes function as all classes do on the first day of school with the teacher introducing himself or herself with the students doing the same thing. Some classes were a bit difficult due to Moka and her little fanboys, hell, some of the teachers were interested in her as well...Talk about crazy. After the last class comes to an end, all of the young men and women retreat to two separate buildings where they will be staying until they graduate.

[A/N: I might make a few changes here and there, starting with the dorms. I apologize in advance if you don't like them]

[Inside the building]

"This has been one hell of a day" Keith said with a yawn as he then stretches before continuing "Those teachers really know how to lecture a person, especially that one teacher who has a weird and creepy obsession with math"

The golden-blonde haired boy comes to a stop as he comes across a door with the number twenty on it. Keith reaches into his pocket and pulls out a set of keys which also has the number twenty on it.

"Looks like this is the place I'll be staying at for the time being" Keith said before continuing "If I'm lucky, the rooms here will be better than ones back at my last school *shutters* never in my life have I seen so many rats and roaches in one area...Never again"

The young man unlocks the door and enters the new dorm only to be greeted by it's nice and somewhat classy design. When it comes down to appearance and structure, the dorm is styled as an apartment with one side being a kitchen and the other side being a living room. In the kitchen, there lies everything a kitchen usually contains which is a sink, a couple of cabinets, a refrigerator, an oven, and etc. In the living room, there is a red couch with a black coffee table in front of it, followed by medium-sized television that is resting on a tv stand. Last but not least are the rooms which are located in the back. Each dormitory contains five rooms with four rooms being bedrooms and the fifth one being a bathroom.

"*Whistles* Not bad...Not bad at all" Keith said in a surprised and impressed tone before continuing "Part of me was thinking that the dorms were going to have some kind of spooky vibe to it, but instead, it's styled as an everyday apartment, that's something I can work with"

Keith went on the examine the apartment until the door opens and three males enter the room. All three of the young men are handsome in their own right with the only thing being different is their looks. The first person Keith has his eyes set on is a young man with light brown hair, a fair-skin complexion, black eyes, and glasses. The young lad has a somewhat scrawny build and the freckles on his face weren't helping. Overall, the brunette has a nerdy and timid look, but Keith wasn't going to judge. Next up is the second boy whose hair is as white as snow and has royal purple streaks in some areas. In contrast to the brown-haired boy's skin, the second boy's skin is smooth and rich brown giving off the impression that he's an African-American. Lastly is the young man's eyes which are quite bizarre as it's lilac at the top but slowly fades to purple at the bottom. Unlike the brunette, this boy has a calm and collected look on his face and wasn't really surprised that someone else is in the dorm. Last up is the third boy who has fiery-red hair with bright yellow tips at the end, yellowish-orange skin, and blood-red eyes. This young man has an angry and unhappy look on his face as if he had a very bad today. All three of the students were wearing the Yokai Academy uniform with the only difference being their footwear.

"Greetings, my friend, are you the one they call Keith Gravez?" the brown-haired boy asked politely

"Yeah, that's me" Keith responded with a little nod before continuing "Ms. Nekonome told me to go to room twenty as soon as class comes to an end, so here I am"

"Perfect, everyone's here at last" the brown-haired boy said with a smile

"I don't mean to be rude here, but would you mind telling me who you are? scratch that, would you mind telling me why you guys are?" Keith asked before continuing "Are you guys the welcoming committee?"

"We aren't the welcoming committee, Keith, we're your new roommates" the brown-haired boy answered before continuing "As of today, we'll all be sharing the same space"

"Hold on a second, they never told me about this" Keith said before continuing "What gives?"

"My best guess is that they wanted it to be a surprise" the brunette said before continuing "Yokai can be a bit weird and zany at times"

"Don't I know it..." Keith said mentally before speaking "Anyway, you still haven't told me who you are"

"My apologies, my name is Noah Cartwright and these two are my friends Fuyu Eis and Calor Brisa" the brown-haired boy introduced himself with a smile as he shakes Keith's hand before continuing "I hope we can be good friends in the future"

"Yeah, same here" Keith said as he then turns to his other roommates before continuing "Would you two care to add anything to the pot? speak now or forever hold your peace"

"Don't touch my stuff and everything will be alright" said the red-haired boy, now named Calor

"Noted" Keith said before turning to the other boy and continuing "What about you?"

Instead of speaking, the dark-skinned boy smiles and gives a quick shrug which confuses Keith a little bt

"I'm not following you dude" Keith said with a frown before continuing "Mind using your words? it would make things ten times easier"

"I forgot to mention this earlier, but Fuyu doesn't talk much for some weird reason" Noah said before continuing "We really don't know why he's that way and every time we ask he just laughs it off"

"So he's the silent type" Keith said before continuing "It's a little cliche, but I'll learn to get used to it"

"That's the spirit" Noah said with a smile before continuing "Now then, our bedrooms are located in the back with your room being next to Calor, have fun with that"

"Thanks for that, I appreciate it" Keith said

The golden-blonde haired boy grabs his bag and makes his way over to his room as he then sits on his bed. It didn't take very long for Keith to adjust to his new room and get comfortable, but on the other hand, he did admit that it felt a little weird and awkward. For starters, this room he's in is completely different from his previous one back at home as it has nothing but the essentials which is a bed, a desk, a dresser, a little trash can, and a lamp. Later down the road, Keith is going to make a few changes here and there, but until that day comes, he's going to leave things the way they are.

"I get the feeling that things are going to be interesting around here" Keith said with a smile

[The next day]

BEEP!

BEEP!

BEEP!

That is the sound of Keith's alarm clock going off in a loud fashion. With a groan, Keith reaches over to the snooze button and presses it before going back to sleep. After nine minutes pass, the alarm clock goes off again which causes Keith to do the same thing before, but to no avail, in fact, the alarm clock gets even louder each time Keith presses the button. With a roar of anger, Keith grabs the noisy clock, yanks it out the wall, and throws it at the door as it then breaks into little pieces.

"Stupid ass alarm clock" Keith said in anger/annoyance before continuing "You couldn't let me sleep in peace, could you? you just had to cram your presence down my throat...Look who's laughing now"

"Keith, are you alright in there? we heard a loud noise followed by your screaming"

"Me? I'm alright, everything's good in here, Noah" Keith lied before continuing "I just had a bad dream, nothing too serious, y'know?"

"Well come outside and get some food, Fuyu went all out in the kitchen"

"Okay, just give me a few minutes" Keith said as he stretches

[A few minutes later, in the kitchen]

"This is pretty good, Fuyu" Keith said while scarfing his face down with copious amounts of food such as bacon, eggs, waffles, and etc

"Ice boy here is no slouch when it comes down to cooking" Calor informed before continuing "Tell him what you want and he'll whip it up in a matter of seconds...As long as it's possible that is"

"That's good to know" Keith said before continuing "By the way, you called him ice boy earlier, what the heck does that mean?"

"Fuyu is Yuki-Otoko or Snowman in English terms" Noah said

"Yuki-Otoko? never heard of that one before" Keith said before continuing "Is it new or something?"

"Heavens no, Fuyu's kind have been around for ages as well as their female counterparts, Yuki-Onna" Noah said before continuing "It's actually pretty interesting once you look into it"

"Judging by his race's name and the nickname given to him by Calor, I can only assume that Fuyu has some weird attachment to the cold element that is ice" Keith said before continuing "Did I hit it on the nose?"

"You are correct, Keith" Noah answered with a nod before continuing "Yuki-Otoko's and Yuki-Onna's have the ability to create and utilize ice to their advantage, ranging from ice blast to ice clones"

"Aren't they lucky" Keith said as he then turns to Noah and Calor before continuing "Since we're on the subject of monsters and all that stuff, what exactly are you guys? I know it's against the rules to reveal your race to other students at this academy, but seeing as we're going to living with each other, we might as well get to know each other"

"I am Warlock meaning that I have the ability to use magic" Noah said as he snaps his finger causing an old-looking book to appear

"And I'm an Ember" Calor said with pride

"What the hell's an Ember? that's something I never heard of before" Keith said before continuing "Is it new"

"An Ember is a type monster that associates with fire and anything heat-related" Calor explained before continuing "As of right now, the only thing I can do is control fire, but they say your fire abilities increase as you get older"

"What about you, Keith? you haven't said what kind of monster you are" Noah said

"It's...umm...it's a bit complicated..." Keith said nervously, catching the attention of his new friends

"Complicated you say? how so?" Noah asked with interest before continuing "Is it something dangerous? or is it something embarrassing? if it's the latter, we promise not to tell anybody or make fun of you"

Keith really wanted to tell his friends what he was, but he couldn't because telling them what he is could potentially endanger their newfound friendship. Then again, he's in a school for monsters so there's a chance that they'll just brush it off and go on about their day.

"If I tell you, will you promise not to get mad or at the very least flee in fear and terror?" Keith asked earning nods from the three

Keith takes a deep breath and was about to speak until a sudden knock at the door stops him. Noah gets up from his seat and opens the door only to be greeted by a hooded figure

"School will be starting in twenty minutes..." the hooded figure said creepily before continuing "You should leave while you still have time"

"Thank you sir" Noah said with a bow as he closes the door

"Who was at the door?" Keith asked

"It was one of the staff members" Noah answered before continuing "He said school starts in twenty minutes, we should finish our breakfast and get dressed before it's too late"

The four friends quickly eat their breakfast then make their way to their rooms to put their clothes on and tidy up. After a few minutes, the young men come out of their respective rooms wearing their school uniforms. The four grab their bags before walking to the door.

"Do you guys have everything you need?" Noah asked before continuing "We can't come back here during school hours"

"Yeah" Calor replied as Fuyu nodded

"I got my stuff" Keith answered

"Keith, what on Earth are you wearing?" Noah asked, pointing to Keith's "school clothes"

"Umm clothes?" Keith replied with a hint of confusion before continuing "What's the big deal? I was wearing these yesterday"

"Dude have you looked at yourself in the mirror? you look like you're about to go to a rock concert or something along the lines" Calor said before continuing "Not only that, what's up with those bracelets? *points to Keith's spiked wristbands* are you trying to make a statement or do you just suck at fashion?"

"I just thought it was cool, is that so bad?" Keith asked with a fake pout

"It sure as hell ain't doing you any justice, that's for sure" Calor said

"Forget this, I don't need to take this kind of verbal abuse" Keith said in annoyance and frustration before continuing "I will see you jackasses in class"

The golden-blonde haired boy angrily opens the door and storms out of the room leaving Noah, Calor, and Fuyu behind

"It's always the little things that put a smile on my face" Calor said with a shit-eating grin as Noah and Fuyu groan

[Outside the building]

"The nerve of some people" Keith said to himself

At that moment, a hand gets placed on Keith's shoulder causing him to stop walking. The golden-blonde haired boy turns his head and he sees a black-haired boy looking at him with an unsettling smile on his face. Behind the brunette are two boys who have disturbing smiles on their faces as well. The first boy has red hair and is slightly skinny, while the second boy has blue hair and is obese.

"Is there something you want?" Keith asked

"Yeah, we're looking for some punk named Keith Gravez" the brunette replied before continuing "Do you know where he is?"

"You're speaking to him" Keith said before continuing "What do you guys want with me? if you need something, I'm afraid I don't have it"

"Our friend Saizou has a little message for you" the brunette said

"This should be interesting" Keith said sarcastically as he folds his arms before continuing "And what, pray tell, might this message be? I'm just dying to find out"

"Saizou wants you to stay the hell away from Moka Akashiya, as of today, she's off-limits" the brunette stated in a serious manner before continuing "The same thing goes for that Tsukune Aono kid you two hang out with"

"Let me see if I got this right, tongue boy is so unbelievably butthurt because Moka isn't showing him love and affection that he feels the need to separate me and Tsukune from her as if that will solve everything; is that the full story? or is there more to this little act of his?" Keith asked casually, causing the three to get angry with him

"Listen, blondie, just stay away from Moka if you know what's good for you" the red-haired boy growled

"Come on, boys, let's get outta here" the black-haired boy said as he and his friends walk off

"I really don't get high school at times" Keith shook his head before continuing "I'm hoping Tsukune is faring better than me, I don't think he likes it here, what with all the students here being monster and whatnot"

[With Tsukune, in front of the school]

"This is so frustrating" Tsukune said angrily followed by a sigh before continuing "I don't know whether I should leave Yokai Academy or stay there...I really want to stay with Moka and Keith, but at the same time I-"

Out of nowhere, Tsukune gets grabbed by his red collar and pulled up close. The offender is Saizou Komiya who has a sadistic smirk on his face indicating that he's up to no good.

"W-What do you want from me?" Tsukune said in fear

"You and blondie had a lot of fun with Moka the other day, didn't you?" the bully asked as he lifts up Tsukune and slams him onto a nearby wall before continuing "What's so special about you two? why does she enjoy your company? I bet it has something to do with your races...Out with it, what kind of monster are you guys?"

"This is bad, if it gets out that I'm a human I'll be killed" Tsukune said mentally before speaking "I-I'm...I'm a vampire"

In a fit of rage, the brute furiously punches the wall which creates a small crater. Seeing Saizou effortlessly create a crater with his monstrous strength caused Tsukune to quiver in fear

"A vampire you say!? vampires are immortal, atrocious, western monsters, it's even said they're the best of all monsters at using their supernatural powers!" Saizou exclaimed before continuing "Are you such a vampire!? don't lie to me!"

Saizou grabs Tsukune and mercilessly throws him onto the ground

"Don't go near Moka again" Saizou instructed before continuing "If you even talk to her again...You're dead, gnat *walks away*"

That was the final straw...Tsukune was not about to spend his high school years with these monsters, especially Saizou. The brown-haired boy picks up his bag and quickly run away

[In the hallway]

"This isn't some sort of joke" Tsukune said mentally before continuing "These brutes are going to kill me, I have to get out of this crazy school before it's too late"

Tsukune was about to make it out of the building until he suddenly gets tackles by Moka.

"Ouch" Tsukune said in pain as he rubs his head

"Good morning, Tsukune, if we don't hurry we're gonna be tardy" Moka said with a smile

"..."

"What's the matter, Tsukune? is everything alright?" Moka frowned

"I can't do it, Moka, I just can't do it" Tsukune said before continuing "This school is just too scary for me, I think it'd be best if I go to a human school, unlike this place, I have a high chance of being safe"

"A...Human school..." Moka said in shock, not being able to comprehend what Tsukune just said

"Goodbye, Mo-"

Tsukune gets cut off midsentence as Moka grabs his hand

"No way! you can't go off to some human school!" Moka cried out before continuing "I hate humans...I really can't stand them!"

"Moka...You hate...Humans?" Tsukune asked in shock

"I used to go to a human school up until middle school" Moka explained before continuing "I was isolated, nobody believed me when I told them that monsters are real, from there, I started thinking I was weird; I believed that I was different from everyone else...I thought it would be better if I didn't go there anymore, that it'd be better if I disappeared"

"I see..." Tsukune said quietly

"You and Keith accepted me for who I am and told me that you were okay with vampires" Moka smiled before continuing "Thanks to you guys, I don't feel alone anymore"

"..."

"You can't go to another school, Tsukune" Moka said before continuing "It won't be fun without you here"

"Moka, if I said I was one of those humans that you hate so much...Would you still stop me?" Tsukune asked

"What are you talking about?" Moka asked in confusion

"I'm a human" Tsukune confessed bringing great shock to the vampire girl

"A-A human!?" Moka asked

"I am a human, through some kind of mistake, I ended up being let into this school, but I'm totally different you and everybody at this school" Tsukune confessed before continuing "I don't belong at a place like this, they'll eat me life and there's no way I can stop them from doing so!"

"That's impossible, there's no way a human could be here" Moka said in disgust before continuing "You must be pranking me"

"Moka...that look on your face was because you realized I'm human" Tsukune said before continuing "That's right, I shouldn't even be here after all anyway"

Tsukune gives a final wave of goodbye and walks off until Moka stops him in his tracks. Even though he is a human, she didn't want him to leave, he along with Keith were the only people to treat her like a normal person

"Don't try to stop me, Moka" Tsukune said angrily before continuing "You hate humans, you said it yourself"

The brown-haired boy takes off leaving the pink-haired girl by herself. The young woman calls out to Tsukune, but he ignores her and keeps moving forward to the bus stop.

[Back with Keith]

"Where are those goofballs? class is about to start in a couple of minutes" Keith said while looking around for Tsukune and Moka

Luckily for Keith, he spots Moka from afar and runs up to her. Moka has a look of guilt on her face as she was about to lose her new friend. She desperately and wholeheartedly wants to Tsukune to stay at the academy and be with her, but she has no idea how to do that, Tsukune's already made up his mind. The only thing she can do now is pray to whatever god is listening and hope that Tsukune gives Yokai a second chance or at the very least, get amnesia and forget everything that happened in the last few minutes.

"What's up, Moka?" Keith asked before continuing "You don't look too happy"

"It's Tsukune...He told me that he is a human and that he is going to be leaving the academy" Moka answered in sadness before continuing "I don't know what to do, I really want him to stay at Yokai"

"Does anyone else know about him being a human or it just you?" Keith asked, doing his best to keep his cool

"It's just me" Moka replied before continuing "I still can't believe he's a human...There's no way that's possible, Yokai wouldn't allow a human to walk on the premises"

"My best guess is that the staff were too lazy to do background checks on the students" Keith said with a shrug as he soon notices Moka's look of depression before continuing "Look, I'll track down Tsukune for you and see if I can convince him to stay at the academy, if I'm lucky, he'll still be at the bus stop waiting for the creepy driver to arrive giving me plenty of time"

"Are you sure that will work?" Moka asked

"It's better than nothing" Keith said before continuing "Now get to class or they'll give you detention"

The golden-blonde haired boy was about to take off until Moka stops him by quickly grabbing his hand.

"Would you please do me a favor and kindly let go?" Keith asked before continuing "People are going to get the wrong idea about us and start thinking that we're some sort of couple"

"Keith...What kind of monster are you?" Moka asked creating tension between the two

Tsukune's "monster" identity has already been revealed to Moka and that piece of information is putting the friendship between Moka and Tsukune on edge. If Keith reveals to the cute vampire what he is...Let's just say that things won't be pretty. Keith wants to lie to Moka and say he something he's not, but at the same time, he doesn't want to because Moka deserves better than that.

"Are you a human as well Keith...?" Moka asked softly

"*slowly inhales and slowly exhales* I know you're probably going to freak out when I tell you this, so just bear with me" Keith said before continuing "I'm not a monster...I'm a Conduit"

"You're a C-Conduit!?" Moka exclaimed in shock

"Shh!" Keith said as he covers her mouth before continuing "Keep it down, Moka, I don't want the entire goddamn school coming after my ass, that's the last thing I need"

"I can't believe this...A Bio-terrorist, you're a Bio-terrorist" Moka said

For those who don't know, Conduits or Bioterrorist are a sub-species of humans who possess superhuman abilities afforded to them by the presence of the Conduit Gene. Conduits tend to get a bad rap from normal humans out of fear, jealousy, and or prejudice as they are often insulted, abused, and treated as outcasts. However, things have dialed down tremendously thanks to heroes like Cole Macgrath and Delsin Rowe as humans and Conduits can coexist with one another in peace without fear and hate, though, there are a couple of people out there who solemnly believe that Conduits are pure evil.

"Moka, I know you're surprised and a bit afraid, but I have a perfectly good explanation for all of this" Keith said, as he slowly walks up to Moka who in return takes a few steps back in fear

Seein as Moka isn't in the mood for explanations, Keith lets out a sigh before turning around

"I'm gonna go ahead and get Tsukune so we can put this situation of ours to rest" Keith stated before continuing "If the teachers ask about us, tell them that we weren't feeling so well and had to go back to the dorms"

And with that, the conduit takes off while Moka does the same unaware that Saizou and his goons were watching from a distance. The thuggish brutes didn't hear a word they said, but what they do know is that the beautiful vampire girl is by herself with no one to protect her...It won't take long for trouble to arise and rain down on the young woman.

"What do we do, Saizou?" asked the black-haired boy from earlier

"I want you three to deal with Moka's friends" Saizou instructed before continuing "Teach those gnats a lesson they won't forget and don't show any mercy to them...We gave them a warning"

"Got it" the red-haired boy nodded before continuing "What about you? what're you gonna do?"

"I'll deal with Moka" Saizou said as he licks his lips

[Later that day, at the bus stop]

"It's the second day of school and you want to leave already" the bus driver said as he pulls out a cigar before continuing "That's a new record y'know"

"Yeah, this isn't the school for me" Tsukune said before continuing "It's too-"

"Scary?" the bus driver asked before continuing "We get that a lot"

Once the bus driver finishes his cigar, he throws it on the floor and adjusts his cap and gloves

"If you have no regrets, come aboard" the bus driver said before continuing "I'll gladly take you home where it's safe"

Just as Tsukune was about to get on the bus, Keith quickly runs up to him and stops him in his tracks. While Keith doesn't know much about Tsukune other than the fact that he's human, he will admit that his company was nice and how he has someone to talk to besides his roommates. The golden-blonde haired boy doesn't know why Tsukune wants to leave so bad, but he was going to find out and see if he can solve the issue.

"What's this I hear about you wanting to leave school?" Keith asked before continuing "You don't strike me as the type of dude to give up that easily, so what gives?"

"Yokai Academy is a very dangerous place to be in" Tsukune responded before continuing "These people will be the death of me if I don't act fast and leave while I'm still alive"

"Oh come on, Tsukune, you don't know that for sure" Keith said before continuing "Just because you're in a school filled to the brim with monsters doesn't mean that everyone there is a violent psychopath hellbent on bringing agony and despair to others; think of people like Moka, sure she's a vampire *mentally*and a weird one at that *speaking*, but she's a good person"

"That's the thing, Saizou wants to beat me up because I'm hanging out with Moka, while Moka hates me for being human" Tsukune said before continuing "Thing will get worse if I don't leave"

"Forget, Saizou, he's just some assclown who believes he's the shit for some weird reason" Keith said before continuing "I bet a little kid can beat him up with ease"

Before Tsukune could respond to Keith's comment, a loud and girly scream appears which alarms the two young men. Tsukune has a look of fear and terror while Keith has a look of confusion

"What the hell was that?" the golden-blonde haired conduit asked

"I don't know, but I think someone's in trouble" Tsukune replied before continuing "I might be Moka"

"Dude, there's a ton of chicks at this school, we don't know who it is for sure" Keith said before continuing "Even then, Moka's one tough sugar cookie, that crazy-ass strength of hers is no laughing matter *rubs back*"

"I'm going to go check it out" Tsukune said as he runs off in search of the source

"Wait, don't do th-aaand he's gone" Keith sighed as he shook his head before continuing "This is the reason why people die horribly in horror movies, better go after him before he ends up getting himself killed"

"That's one brave friend you got there" the bus driver said with a devilish smirk

"Aren't I lucky" Keith rolled his eyes as he runs off

"Leave me alone you creep!" Moka cried out before continuing "I want nothing to do with you!"

"Your beauty is incomparable to any one of those puny humans I have molested back in the human world" Saizou said with a smirk before continuing "I want you all to myself Moka Akashiya, I'll make sure nobody separates us"

Things got worse as Saizou sticks his weirdly shaped and oddly long tongue out and licks Moka all over covering his in saliva. The bully then decides to heat things up as he slowly transforms into his true monster form which is painful on the eyes. Saizou is now a hulking beast who now has fangs and is sporting an even longer tongue. The thug towered over the poor vampire girl ready to unspeakable and nightmare-inducing things to her.

"TSUKUNE, KEITH!" Moka cried out

"Ha-ha-ha, I'm going to enjoy this violation of the school rules" Saizou said while smiling evilly

[Back with Keith]

"Goddamn, Tsukune runs pretty fast for a normal human" Keith said to himself before continuing "Just follow the screams and cries and you'll be there in no time"

The golden-blonde haired boy proceeds to walk ahead until he is stopped by Saizou's friends

"We warned you, blondie...We told you that something bad would happen if you didn't heed our words" the black-haired boy said before continuing "Now it's time for punishment, I hope you're ready Gravez, things are going to get messy"

"*Scoffs* You guys actually believed that I would listen to your boss and his stupid ass message after he threw me into a freaking vending machine?" Keith asked incredulously before continuing "You guys are dumber than I thought"

"Oh you are SO dead" the red-haired boy growled

"Bring it on, Fat Albert, I'll be happy to give you the workout you so desperately need!" Keith taunted, performing the "come and get me gesture" which made the overweight redhead even angrier

One by one, all three of the thugs transform into their true monster forms. First off is the black-haired kid (or in this case the leader) who now towers over Keith and the other two boys. He has a very muscular figure with several spikes protruding from his body and just like Saizou, he has sharp fangs and a very long tongue, it's clear as day that he and Saizou come from the same race. Next up is the blue-haired boy who has the head of a fly with a set of bug wings on his back. Last but not least is the overweight red-haired boy who is now bigger and wider than used to be. When it comes down to appearance, the redhead is somewhat unique but not by much. He has no hair, red skin, one big eye, and a horn sticking out of his head. All three of the now-transformed monsters look at Keith with an evil grin on their faces as they were ready to beat him to a pulp. Keith, on the other hand, didn't look too surprised and treated the situation as if he had done something similar in the past.

"You gotta be freakin' kidding me, that's your big scary transformation?" Keith asked, not taking the three seriously before continuing "I've seen monster forms scarier than that and I've seen Spawn for Christ's sake...the film, not the comic book or the animated series mind you"

"Keep one talking, Gravez, it'll make your defeat all the better" the black-haired boy said as he cracks his knuckles

The three-on-one battle begins as the black-haired boy runs up to Keith and goes in to deliver a punch. Keith quickly blocks said punch with his arms which sends him back a little. In retaliation, the golden-blonde haired Conduit rushes forward and proceeds to dish out numerous amounts of punches towards the brute's stomach before ending off with a punch to the face and a kick to the chest. In a fit of anger and rage, the fly-like monster opens his mouth and begins to shoot out chunks of greenish-brown goop. The Conduit reacts to the attack by dodging and weaving all of the projectiles which infuriates the fly monster even more as he begins to send out more chunks in the style of a Gatling gun. While Keith is continuously dodging, blocking, and weaving the projectiles, the overweight monster takes this opportunity to attack from behind. The bald brute picks up a big rock nearby and slams it over Keith's head causing the golden-blonde to stop what he's doing taking a few hits in the process.

"You fat, one-eyed, motherfu-ouch..." Keith said in pain as he examines his arms before continuing "What the hell is this all about?"

Keith's arms are riddled with burn marks which he somehow obtained during his fight with fly-boy. It didn't take long for the golden blonde-haired Conduit to figure out that those burn marks he got came from the blue-haired monster's weird liquid. A normal person that isn't a Conduit or a monster would probably be writhing in pain from the acid-like attack but since Keith isn't a regular person and is a Conduit, the enemies attacks feel like a pinch and it doesn't help that Keith has a healing factor which is a common ability given to every Conduit whether they like it or not.

"Geez, I get that you thugs want to kick my ass but could you dial it back a little?" Keith said before continuing "Some people want to live to fight another day, y'know"

"That dude...He ain't normal" the fly-like monster said before continuing "He took on our attacks like it was nothing, what kind of monster is he?"

"Don't be afraid of that little bastard, you have nothing to worry about" the obese monster stated with pride before continuing "What I want you to do is to use that little acid spit move of yours as a distraction, that way me and the boss can get the jump on blondie over there"

"Okay, I'll see what I can do" the thug said, unsure if the plan will work or not

"That's what I like to hear" the obese monster said as he then turns to the leader of the group before continuing "You with us boss? everything will go smoothly with your help"

"Just tell me where I need to be and I'll be there" the black-haired boy said as he picks himself up

"Come on, fellas, what's the big hold up? I'm not done beating your ugly asses" Keith taunted before continuing "If you lads wanna back out, I'm totally okay with that"

"Don't you dare look down on us!" the fly-like monster exclaimed in anger as he sends out more of his strange liquid

"Oh what the heck man? again with that stupid move of yours?" Keith rolled his eyes in annoyance before continuing "You really need to come up with better attacks in the future dude"

The golden-blonde haired boy rushes forward and powers through most of the enemy's attack before making his way towards said enemy and decking him straight in the face which knocks him out cold instantly. The other two monsters were about to strike until Keith catches wind and quickly jumps back before they could inflict any damage. Gravez runs up to the muscle-bound monstrosity and punches him square in the throat before kicking his head. The red-skinned monster tries to hit Keith but the ladder quickly back kicks him into a nearby tree. All three of the brutes were taken out leaving Keith the winner of this bout.

"That takes care of that" Keith said as he stretches before continuing "Now for that asshat, Saizou"

[Back with Moka and Saizou]

"Scream all you want, beautiful, there's no one here to protect you from me" Saizou said evilly

The thug was about to make his move until a rock gets thrown at the back of his head. In anger, Saizou turns around and he sees Tsukune with a determined look on his face. Saizou got even angrier as Tsukune ignored his threat and is now here to save Moka

"You son of a bitch..." Saizou growled before continuing "You have some nerve trying to take my fun away from me, I'm going to enjoy killing you slowly as Moka watches, and if I find Gravez, I'll make sure to do the same thing to him as well"

"Tsukune, why did you come back for me?" Moka asked in surprise

"I came back because there's something I want to say to you" Tsukune responded

"That ignorant piece of shit says it wants to say something" Saizou said to himself in anger before talking aloud "I believe I warned you not to come near Moka again, did I not? I guess some people never learn"

"I don't care how strong you are, I won't let you have your way with Moka, she's not some toy you can play with" Tsukune said

"*Walks up to Tsukune* Isn't this precious, the little gnat wants to play superhero and protect his damsel in distress" Saizou smirked condescendingly as he proceeds to smack Tsukune away before continuing "Wake up the hell up, dumbass, this ain't a fantasy world, you'll get killed if you say the wrong things to the wrong people *picks up Tsukune by the collar and mercilessly throws him onto a wall*"

"Get out of here, Tsukune, Saizou's too strong for you!" Moka cried out

"What kind of monster is he?" Tsukune asked himself mentally before continuing "His power is unbelievable, who knows what he's going to do to me next"

Saizou picks Tsukune up once more and throws him onto a nearby tree. The brown-haired slowly picks himself and tries to fight back against the malicious beast but fails horribly as he is no match for the monster's brute strength and has nothing that can counter it...Or does he?

"What's wrong wannabe vampire? do you not think a rogue monster like myself would not challenge a so-called vampire?" Saizou taunted before continuing "You're too weak scum"

"TSUKUNE!" Moka shouted as she runs up to her injured friend

"Dammit, he's too strong for me" Tsukune said weakly before continuing "I tried to fight him with all I got, but just took me out with ease"

"I'm so sorry, Tsukune" Moka apologized with tears in her eyes before continuing "The difference between humans and monsters are just too much...I'm a vampire, sucking blood and harming humans; back in my previous school, the only thing I truly wanted was a companion...Being human or monster doesn't matter, but I guess it really is impossible"

"Heh-heh-heh, it's time for you to die, I hope you've said your prayers" Saizou said with an evil grin as Tsukune picks himself up once more

"I'm a total weakling and I can't do much to defend myself, but human, monster or even Conduit...I want to be Moka's friend!" Tsukune declared bringing tears to Moka eyes

Right before Saizou could deal the finishing blow, a tree gets thrown at his head stopping him in his tracks. The brute quickly turns his head to the left and he witnesses Keith looking at him with a huge smirk on his face

"How's it going, dude? am I late to the party or is it just getting started?" Keith said before continuing "Come on, you can tell me, I won't rat you out to the teachers"

"You gotta be freaking kidding me, I thought my boys took care of your blonde ass" Saizou said in shock and awe before continuing "You should be dead or at the very least seriously injured"

"Sorry to say this, Sai, but your lackeys didn't put up much of a fight" Keith said before continuing "The bald dude and the weirdo with the fly head got me one or two times, but that's as far as it goes, you should get stronger friends next time"

"Tch, worthless maggots" Saizou growled in anger before continuing "I knew they weren't cut out for this kind of shit"

"Cut 'em some slack, Saizou, they tried their hardest" the golden-haired blonde said jokingly, increasing Saizou's anger before continuing "All that matters is that they did their best and gave it their all"

"If you had any intelligence inside that minuscule brain of yours, you'd know to shut that putrid mouth of yours when talking to your superior" Saizou said before continuing "You and that Aono kid over there are a real pain the ass...especially you, Gravez, don't think I forgot about that little conversation we had yesterday"

"Jesus Christ, you are one pathetic, son of a bitch y'know that?" Keith said, shaking his head at Saizou's ignorance before continuing "You parade around thinking that you're some kind of badass monster and treat everyone who isn't on your level like a worthless insect, you're the worst thing God or Satan has ever created and the world would be a much better place if pieces of shit like you didn't exist"

The golden-blonde haired Conduit cracks his knuckles before throwing a few air punches. Even since he was ruthlessly thrown into the vending machine by Saizou, Keith has been wanting to get revenge for that little stunt. This is the perfect opportunity, Moka is tending to Tsukune which means nobody can stop the two, they're far away from the academy so none of the students and teachers can hear or see anything, and they don't have to worry about property damage.

"I'm going to enjoy smashing your face in, Gravez" Saizou said with an evil grin

"Well would you look at that, there's something we actually agree on, isn't that a surprise" Keith retorted

As soon as Keith made his final comment, everything fell silent and the only thing that could be heard was the cool breeze flowing past the students and the trees rustling against each other. Keith and Saizou glare at each other with hate in their eyes with an intense desire to beat the other person to a pulp. Saizou being the barbaric brute he is gets fed up with waiting and charges forward with a goal to injure or possibly kill Keith. The golden-blonde haired Conduit quickly jumps out the way as Saizou punches through a tree with his monstrous super strength. The barbaric thug rips the tree up from the ground and throws it at Keith who in return kicks it away like it's nothing special. In frustration, Saizou rushes forward and goes in for another strike once more, but Keith defends himself by blocking the punch right before moving back via backflips. A smirk forms on Keith's face as he has something special in mind to deal with this situation. The golden-blonde haired Conduit gets into position and extends his hands as green aura now surrounds itself around them. Keith puts his arms forward and opens his palms before shooting out three green-colored energy blasts towards Saizou. Komiya dodges the first two energy blasts but gets hit by the third blast which causes him to stumble back a little. Keith extends his hand once more but this time he fires energy balls in a rapid fashion giving Saizou little time to defend himself. As the barbaric brute stands in place dazed and confused, Keith from afar takes the opportunity to deliver a massive beatdown on his opponent. The golden-blonde haired Conduit runs up to Saizou and punches him in the face before punching him in the stomach repeatedly. Keith ends it off with a powerful punch to the stomach before flipping him over. Thinking that everything is over, Keith stretches his muscles a bit before walking away from Saizou unaware that the vicious bully is far from unconscious and is slowly picking himself up from the floor, needless to say, he is NOT happy about what Keith did and he plans to make him pay for it.

"Get back here you son of a bitch!" Saizou said before continuing "I'll make you pay for using that dirty move of yours!"

"Turn around, Keith, Saizou's coming right for you!"

"What the hell are you-GAH!"

Keith gets cut off midsentence as Saizou punches him in the back which catches him off guard. The brute grabs Keith by the head and cruelly slams him onto the hard ground with brute force. The violence doesn't stop there as Saizou grabs Keith's leg and picks him up before slamming him onto the ground. Komiya does this two or three times until he ends it by spinning Keith around and throwing him at a tree. Saizou slowly walks up to the Conduit and puts his feet on his chest while wearing a malicious look on his face.

"This is pretty sad when you think about it, all of this could've been avoided had you listened to my advice and hightail it all the way home" Saizou shook his head before continuing "I guess it's true that stupid people never learn"

"My dude, Moka's not interested in you, when are you going to get that through your thick skull?" Keith said in annoyance/anger before continuing "Just take your rejection like a man, stop being a butthurt dipshit and go home for Christ's sake"

"I hope you rot in hell for all eternity" Saizou said coldly as he goes on to increase the pressure

"Leave him alone you jerk!" Tsukune cried out in anger, charging at the brute only to get smacked aside with little to no ease

"So much for THAT plan" Keith said sarcastically, rolling his eyes in the process before continuing "If it makes you happy, I'll give you an A+ for effort and bravery"

The golden-blonde haired boy raises his hand and fires an energy blast right in Saizou's face which causes him to cry out in pain and agony as he takes a few steps back allowing Keith to move once more. Keith quickly performs a kip-up before jumping back and dusting himself off. It was at this moment where obsidian encrusts itself around Keith's arms and the Conduit punches the ground creating a hole. Keith rushes forward and gives Saizou a powerful punch to the face before cupping his hands together and smacking Saizou down onto the floor. Soon enough, the obsidian on Keith's arms break off and the young Conduit picks Saizou up before throwing him at a wall. Keith creates two javelins made out of obsidian and he chucks both of them at Saizou's shoulders which pins him to the tree. While Saizou is roaring in pain, Keith slowly walks up to Saizou and kicks him in the face with little remorse. The golden-blonde haired Conduit repeatedly wails on the barbaric brute until Tsukune stops him right then and there. Like Keith, Tsukune wanted to Saizou to get his comeuppance, but at the same time, he didn't want the bully to die in the bout as it would create many problems for the two, especially Keith.

"You can stop now, Keith, the fight is over" Tsukune said before continuing "You gave Saizou his just deserts"

"Might as well" Keith shrugged before letting out a sigh as he then proceeds to sit on the ground before continuing "I think that javelin thing might've been a bit too much, I know the bastard deserved it, but still"

"At least he's still alive" Moka said

"There's that..." Keith said as he lays down before continuing "I could really use a drink right about now"

"Same goes for me" Moka nodded as she gets close to Tsukune making him nervous

"Goddammit, this isn't fair at all" Saizou growled in complete anger before continuing "What do you see in that weakling? what makes him so special that you need to give your undivided attention to him?"

Saizou cautiously takes the two javelins out of his shoulders before standing up and cracking his knuckles. Moka and Tsukune took a few steps back as Keith slowly picks himself up. The blonde-haired Conduit was slightly tired so things were going to be difficult from this point on.

"I am one hundred percent done with all of this shit!" Saizou said in a furious tone before continuing "I'm going to kill you two gnats *points to Keith and Tsukune* and once I'm done with that, I'm making Moka my woman whether she likes it or now and there's nothing you guys can do about it!"

"What do we do now guys?" Tsukune asked in fear before continuing "It's all over once Saizou gets a hold of us"

"*Looks at Moka's rosary before turning to Saizou* Guys I just came up with an idea and it just might work if we're lucky" Keith responded

"My reasoning for looking like a normal girl is because of my Rosary *points to her cross-shaped item on her choker* when I take this off, I become a real vampire who's evil, scary, and really powerful"

"What is it?" Moka asked, equally as scared as Tsukune

The golden-blonde haired boy directs his hand over to Moka's rosary and tries to pull it off the choker, but to his surprise [and dismay], the rosary doesn't come off. Keith tries once more to it take off, but the damn thing wasn't budging.

"Well, shit..." Keith cursed before continuing "And here I thought it was going to work"

All of the sudden, Saizou unleashes his whip-like tongue and wraps it around Keith before lifting him up off the floor and throwing him away leaving poor Moka and Tsukune to fend for themselves.

"Heh-heh-heh, it's all over now, I hope you said your prayers, Aono" Saizou grinned maliciously as he then charges at Tsukune

"Damn it all, we can't let this bastard win" Tsukune growled in anger before continuing "There has to be some way we can be him *looks at Moka's rosary* Keith tried to take this off earlier, but it didn't work, maybe he wasn't trying hard enough"

In an attempt to release Moka's sealed form, Tsukune grabs Moka's rosary and tries to pull it off the choker. The brown-haired boy gives it his all, but like last time, the rosary wouldn't come off

"Come on, there has to be a way to do this" Tsukune said to himself

"Give it up, Tsukune, it's not coming off" Moka said sadly before continuing "It's like that for a reason"

"I don't want to die, Moka, and I don't want you to be with this jerk" Tsukune admitted before continuing "I'll do everything in my power to keep you from suffering"

The young man grabs the rosary and gives it one last tug...Until it comes off the choker which shocks Tsukune and Moka

"You took it off...You actually took it off..." Moka said in shock as her choker begins to emit a bright pink light

It was at this point where the pink light gets brighter which makes Saizou stop in his tracks and causes Keith to look on in interest. Everything around them begins to change drastically in which the sky darkens completely, the water in the lake beside them turns red, and numerous vampire bats appear out of nowhere. What makes this moment even more shocking is Moka as her body and features are changing: she maintains her long hair, but the bubblegum pink part she has slowly transitions into a fine, silver color, the adorable green eyes become demonic and scary as they now have blood-red irises with slit pupils. Her body is what stands out the most as her bust size increases along with her buttocks to the point where they're too big for her uniform. All of the vampire bats swarm around the new and improved Moka as one of the bats lands on her shoulder. The silver-haired vampire snaps her fingers and all of the bats fly away instantly.

"Okay...What the hell was all of that?" Keith asked with an eyebrow raised as he walks over to Tsukune

"When Moka said that she would transform into a powerful vampire if the rosary came off, this is what she meant" Tsukune responded as he points to the new Moka

"Not bad at all" Keith nodded in approval before continuing "Ten outta ten"

"Wh...What is she? I feel this overwhelming power and it's coming straight from her..." Saizou said in shock and awe before continuing "She's a totally different person, this isn't the same Moka Akashiya from before"

"Could this be a true vampire?" Tsukune asked himself

"It's just like the legends: the stone-cold, red eyes and the intense supernatural energy" Saizou said before continuing "Moka Akashiya...Is an S-Class Monster"

"I must thank you for releasing me from my slumber, Tsukune Aono, I need to stretch my legs every now and then" the new Moka said to Tsukune, now having a mature and womanly voice. Moka then turns to Saizou and smirks before continuing "What's the matter, Cassanova? weren't you screaming and hollering earlier saying you wanted a piece of this? well come and get it then"

"YOU COCKY BITCH!" Saizou roared furiously as he dashes at Moka before continuing "FORGET MAKING YOU MY WOMAN, I WANT TO CRUSH YOU!"

"*Yawns* It's time for you to learn your place you low-level, hoodlum" Other Moka said sternly

The silver-haired beauty casually dodges Saizou's punch before grabbing his arm and spinning him around. The vampire throws Saizou up into the air then delivers a powerful kick on his way down. The sheer strength of said kick sends Saizou flying at an amazing speed until he hits a wall which renders him unconscious. Keith could only look in amazement as he just watched Saizou get his ass handed to him with ease.

"Man, this chick don't play around" Keith said to himself before continuing "Remind me never to get on her bad side"

"A low-class monster like you who has nothing to show for his size doesn't even make for a decent opponent in a contest of strength" Other Moka said coldly followed by a scoff of annoyance and frustration

"This Moka...She's an entirely different person..." Tsukune said mentally before passing out

"And there he goes" Keith said he directs his eyes to the unconscious boy as he lightly pokes him before continuing "I really wish I had a marker on me, you know what they say: never pass out when there's markers about"

"Keith Gravez" Other Moka said with her arms folded before continuing "I believe it's time for you to explain yourself"

"Me? why do you want to know about me?" Keith questioned as he raises an eyebrow in confusion

"I find it weird that a Conduit such as yourself would be attending a school full of monsters" Other Moka said before continuing "At the end of the day, Conduits are still human in some way"

"In my defense, I had no idea that I was going to attend an all monster school" Keith counter-argued before continuing "My mother didn't even have the courtesy to tell me what the school was like and how they do things"

"That makes sense" Other Moka said to herself before speaking out loud "That still doesn't explain your abilities, I watched your fight with Saizou from within the rosary and I saw you attack with those weird energy beams of yours"

"Don't forget the obsidian" Keith pointed out

"What are your powers exactly? I was told that Conduits are granted with extraordinary abilities and that each Conduit has a different power they can utilize at will" Other Moka explained before continuing "The late Cole MacGrath could use lightning and ice, Delsin Rowe can use smoke, neon, video manipulation, and concrete...Then there's you, what can you do?"

"Isn't this something, never thought I'd see the day where someone takes an interest in me and my powers *dramatically* I feel so special" Keith said before continuing "Alrighty, coffee cake, sit your nicely shaped booty down and pay close attention"

"This better not be a waste of my time, Gravez" Other Moka scoffed

"Unlike most Conduits, I was granted with three abilities" Keith explained as Other Moka nodded before continuing "The first power I have which is my go-to is Energy Projection, to cut it short, I have the ability to project energy blasts of concussive force from conduits in my hands and envelope my body in raw energy. The energy can be shot at various levels, from rapid bursts to focused beams, even contained discharges of energy can be separated from my body and detonated"

"Continue" Other Moka said simply

"My second power is obsidian which allows me to control and use the igneous rock to my liking" Keith said before continuing "When I'm battle, I can cover up any part of my body with obsidian making my punches harder and stronger, hell, I can even cover up my body which raises my defense making it difficult to take me down, not only that, I can send out shards and keep my enemies in place...Kind of like Augustine and that thing she does with her concrete powers"

"What's the last power? you said you had three" Other Moka said

"Last but certainly not least is Shadow Matter" Keith said before continuing "With Shadow Matter, I can control the unseen dark matter around my body and manifest it into a solid shape, what's special about this is that I can craft indestructible ether blades out of thin air and send them at anyone or anything in radius. I can also deconstruct my body into a dark cloud of vapor and travel at an amazing speed"

At that moment, black and reddish-orange vapor surrounds itself around Keith's body. The young Conduit creates several ether blades and he aims them all at a nearby tree. Each of the blades come in contact with the tree before piercing with no problem.

"Perfect as always" Keith smirked

"Good to know that you can protect yourself in battle" Other Moka said before continuing "You do well to protect my other self from harm's way, she's not as strong as I am"

"That powerful hug says otherwise" Keith muttered

The silver-haired beauty bends down and picks up her rosary before putting it back on her choker

"This won't be the last you see of me, I expect great things of you, Gravez" Other Moka said with a smirk on her face as Keith lightly chuckles

"You sound a strict teacher at those really expensive and highly prestigious private schools" Keith joked as Other Moka soon faints. Other Moka's silver hair reverts back to bubblegum pink and the blonde Conduit quickly catches her before she hits the ground

The young Conduit lets out a sigh as he looks at three students who were currently unconscious. To make things worse, he's late for class and there's a good chance that he missed it. Ms. Nekonome seems like a nice teacher, but as he said before when he first met Tsukune, 'looks can be deceiving'"

"¡Ay, Dios mío" Keith said with a sigh as he shook his head before continuing "I have to take THREE people to the nurse's office, carrying them is the easy part, how I'm going to go about it is where things get a bit complicated"

It may have taken him a while, but Keith managed to do the deed and take Tsukune, Moka, and Saizou to the infirmary. After an hour, Tsukune and Moka wake up from their slumber to see Keith watching a video on his phone.

"Oh goodie, you guys are awake" Keith smiled before continuing "I ain't gonna hold ya, you two looked like a married couple when you were resting on that bed over there, I planning to take photos, but I decided to go against it"

"What happened to us?" Tsukune asked

"You don't remember? that asshat over there *points to Saizou* attacked us and was about to kill us morespecificallyyou until Moka suddenly changed and became this powerful monster chick who kicked the ever-living shit out of Saizou" Keith explained

"I remember all of that, but what happened afterwards?" Tsukune questioned

"Nothing too serious or important, me and the other Moka chatted it up for a few minutes or so until she put the rosary back on and fainted" Keith responded causally

"I'm very sorry for causing you guys so much trouble" Moka apologized sadly before continuing "I knew Saizou was a jerk, but I didn't think he'd go that far"

"It's okay, we're still alive" Tsukune said, trying to cheer the pinkette up

"Yeah, what he said" Keith nodded in agreement before continuing "Though I will admit that I'm still a little salty that I didn't get the victory and took an L instead"

"Tsukune...Do you still want to leave Yokai Academy and go to a human school?" Moka asked softly, hoping that Tsukune would say no

"Well, I-"

"I don't think he can do that" Keith chimed in before continuing "That creepy bus driver dude took off while you guys were unconscious and he won't be returning until next month"

"Next month? that doesn't make any sense, quit yanking my chain, Keith" Tsukune said as he pulls out his bus schedule and speed reads it before speaking "He's right...The bus won't come until next month"

"Told ya so" Keith rolled his eyes before continuing "Looks like you're stuck here with us, buddy-boy, better make the best of it"

"Just my luck" Tsukune sighed in annoyance before continuing "At least I'll have company while I'm here"

"Tsukune" Moka said with a blush on her face

"What's the matter, Moka? are you feeling alright?" Tsukune asked

"Your blood...It smells so good" Moka answered as she gets closer to the brown-haired boy before continuing "I just can't resist the sweet sensation...Please allow me to suck on your blood, Tsukune"

"No way in hell!" Tsukune exclaimed as he quickly runs out of the nurse's office

"Come back, Tsukune, I promise to be gentle!" the pink-haired vampire said as she runs out the office to chase after Tsukune

"I swear to God, these two are going to kill me one of these days" Keith said with a wide grin before continuing "I can already tell that this is going to be a fun and interesting year"
