"Hit the targets!" Stardust hit the targets with her plasma fire, she had practiced a lot and was now better. Today she was practicing her powers and abilities as well as seeing if she had any more undiscovered ones. After a few destroyed targets she wondered if the other gems had any unique powers or abilities. She smiled at Garnet and Pearl, they were standing on the beach watching her destroy the targets. "You are getting so good at aiming!" Pearl complimented. There were a few burn marks on the sand from times Stardust had missed, she was proud with how far she had come. But she hoped that if she had any others she would discover them soon. Along with learning how to use her wings, she was sure they were made for flying but each attempt was a fail. Pearl went back inside Garnet watched the dragon, she knew she was done for the day.
Interested in their powers and abilities Stardust approached Garnet first. "I can see possibilities of the future, that part comes from Sapphire and my weapons are from ruby" She told the dragon who was really excited about what she said. She was excited for whenever she would meet Sapphire and Ruby. "Is sapphire the reason you knew I was going to ask?" Stardust asked the fusion who grinned. "Wow, do you every get anything wrong?" She asked. "Sometimes" Garnet replied happily. "Which one of your gems are Sapphire and Ruby?" The dragon asked. Garnet lifted her right hand showing her reddish gem with a triangle in the middle "Sapphire". Stardust smiled at it "so the other one is Ruby?" She asked. Garnet smiled.
Stardust went to Pearl next, she looked at the dragon. "What are your powers?" Stardust asked. Pearl looked at her and sighed "Well... I had store stuff in my gem" She said nervously. Her gem then started to glow and then a blue image appeared, it was Stardust flying with her wings. "Wow! You can create images!" Stardust yelled very amazed "Yes, I can" Pearl replied happily, her gem stopped glowing "I can also store stuff in there, I would explain more but I have to go now" and she warped to another place. Amethyst walked out of her room and was eating a donut. Stardust was happy to see her.
"Amethyst! What are your powers, what can you do?" She asked. Amethyst looked at her and finally finished the donut, she summoned her whip from her gemstone "This?" She asked. "No, I mean other powers like... how Garnet had future vision and Pearl had produce images from her gem". Amethyst nodded and she glew and changed shape, she had shape shifted into Stardust but she was lavender purple and her gen was still on her chest. "I can shape shift but... most other gems can do it too" Amethyst replied. Stardust was impressed "Is there anything unique to your Amethyst gem species?" Stardust asked. "Not exactly".
"Amethyst, can we go see Lapis and Peridot?" Stardust asked. Amethyst chuckled a little nervously "Sorry, Garnet had told me and Pearl that you are banned from going there". "Huh, why?" Stardust asked a little worried "Well... i can't tell you, bye!" Amethyst said as she warped somwhere on the warp pad. "Weird" she said out loud.
Stardust walked onto the balcony, she jumped up and flapped her wings but nothing happened. She looked up into the sky and watched the clouds calmly move towards the distance, she took a breath in and focused on the sky. She opened her wings and jumped up, nothing. She then climbed onto the roof of the house and ran towards the edge like it was a runway with her wings opened. She jumped off the edge but plummeted to the ground. She landed on Garnet's hair wich made it a nice soft landing. "Still can't fly" Stardust sighed. "Garnet, do you see any possibility of me learning how to fly any time soon?" Stardust asked. "No..." Garnet replied back.
Stardust went inside to write in her Diary. "One year and nine months old, yet!, I cannot fly" She sighed at it and looked at her wings "But there is always hope for the future?, right?" She wrote down. She closed the book and put it on the table. "GARNET! Why am I banned from going to see Lapis and Peridot!?" She yelled and asked. "I see a possibility that if you go there then you will insult Bismuth" Garnet replied "I know you want to ask them what their powers are so I asked Amethyst to ask them to come over" She added. Stardust smiled at this. Garnet saw her smile "But around Bismuth you need supervision, we cannot let you insult and make fun of your friends". Stardust was a little annoyed. "But.. when will you stop those bullies" Garnet face palmed in annoyance "Stardust! we have been through this multiple times... THEY ARE NOT BULLYING YOU, YOU ARE BULLYING THEM!" Garnet shouted she then noticed Stardust's face of sadness, she took her glasses off so the dragon could see her eyes.
"Look, I am sorry I yelled, just stop blaming other gems for your own actions" Garnet scolded her. Stardust nodded and sighed in defeat. A flashback of the bullies came to her.
Stardust was five months old, she walking past the donut shop holding her new game system, a 3DS with the game Mario kart 7 in it. She also had a small 3DS case with an image of a yoshi on it. The games in the case were Yoshi's New Island along with other Mario games, she was going to meet up with Amethyst. She sat on a bench and opened her system, she started the game and chose Yoshi of course. Racing was hard so she preferred to race by herself in the time trials mode. She heard a voice behind you "Hello, what are you playing there?" Stardust looked behind her and saw a jasper, orange with many red stripes. long white hair looking at her, her gem was on her chest. She had a smaller gem with her, a Sapphire, dark blue hair, light blue skin and wore a blue and white dress. The Sapphire grinned. "Call me Blue and her Red, if you want" The sapphire said softly.
Stardust smiled at the Jasper "Oh, this is my gaming system, I am playing a game called Mario kart seven!, you can watch if you would like" She offered. The jasper laughed "Kehehe... Mario? Out of all games you play THAT!" Stardust was confused but she laughed nervously along. The Japser picked the dragon up and threw her to the ground as hard as she could". "How pathetic!" The Jasper spat. Stardust tried to think positive but she couldn't. The Japser picked up the small system and threw it to the ground and stomped on it multiple times destroying it. Stardust watched in shock. "Oh boy..." the Jasper chucked more "Seriously... What kind of pathetic person would play a Mario game, anyone who thinks overalls are cool is a pathetic idiot!". The sapphire kicked Stardust hurting her. Then Amethyst rushed over "What happend!" She shouted. Garnet and Pearl came too.
"I-I was only playing Mar-" Stardust said before being interrupted by Jasper "Guys... I know you don't know me but please trust me!" The Jasper and the Sapphire started to fake cry "We were... we were only playing with our new gaming console but this white monster... attacked us and destroyed it!" Stardust looked at them annoyed "No they are liying!". "No please, this is our property!" Jasper begged. "No I brought it yesterday with my own money!" Stardust argued.
The Crystal Gems stepped back a little and started to chat between themselves. "We never saw her with the system before so I am on the Jasper's side" Pearl whispered. "Today she told me to meet her here to show me something she had brought, I haven't seen that thing till now" Amethyst added. "I agree, Stardust has no proof on ownership and the Jasper looks extremely Heart broken" Garnet agreed.
Blue Sapphire grinned, she knew what was about to happen. "Stardust, YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE!" Garnet shouted. Stardust felt very heartbroken, the gems looked at her disappointed. "But I-" Stardust said "WE DONT WANT TO HEAR YOUR EXCUSES!" Garnet yelled at her. "You will pay them back with your own money" Pearl told her. Stardust was emotionally shattered. "You better behave tomorrow when you meet the other Crystal Gems Pearl said warningly. The small dragon walked back home with the gems.
"Why did I come a fan of the series in the first place?... Should I... Ugh... This is all the series's fault... perhaps... if a series with a main character that wears them gets me in trouble like this..."

Stardust is loosely based on me in some ways so this flashback is based on how I felt when I was bullied (Emotionally not physically) for liking the Mario series so I wanted Stardust to be bullied for liking it. The Jasper and Sapphire in the Flash back were made by me but they are super minor and only may appear in two more pages.
