"This is a song Amethyst told me about, are you okay with me singing it?" Stardust asked. "Yeah sure!" Lapis agreed.

Song not mine, song is called "On The Run" and it's from Steven Universe. The only thing that's edited is who sings what.

It's time to get moving, time for us to have some fun.
There's no time to hang around, our adventure's just begun.
We'll be thinking 'bout our friends as we chase the setting sun.

But we're leaving them behind, we're on the run.
(We're on the run) I don't care about what all the others say.
(We're on the run) Well I guess there are some things that will just never go away.
(We're on the run) I wish that I could see that there's no better place than home.
But home's a place that I have never known.

"Amethyst said she sang this with Steven ones but I guess it also suits our adventure too" Stardust said. Bismuth nodded in agreement. The group kept walking. Lapis smiled. After hours of traveling the group walked through a swamp "Careful, it can be really messy and swampy here" Stardust warned the gems. Lapis slipped over and landed on her bottom, she moaned in disgust as she stood up, she summoned her water wings and decided to fly through instead. After a few minutes, their legs were mostly covered in swampy mud "Are we almost out of this place?" Bismuth asked "Not yet, just a bit more walking" Stardust replied.

Later they were walking along a narrow cliffside , it was slippery so they had to be carful not to slip or they would fall down the cliff "I wonder why this swamp is always so muddy" Stardust asked herself, Lapis and Stardust heard a scream, they looked back and noticed a chunk of the ground and Bismuth were missing. They slowly approached the edge and looked down to see Bismuth looking up at them. She was covered from her shoulders down and had a few splotches on her face, she looked really annoyed. Stardust started to laugh "Keep walking the way we were, we will meet up with you!" Stardust shouted. The big gem gave a thumbs up and got up, the mud was deep enough that her legs were not able to be seen. After the narrow cliff they all met up, Stardust started to giggle "You are now a chocolate with sprinkles!" Stardust shouted happily, the mud covered gem sighed in annoyance. The rest of the walk was grass and stone, no more mud. The big gem tried to wipe the mud fromher, especially around her gem.

Then the three approached a large area of water. It glittered in the sun light "You can clean yourselves here" Stardust said as she happily jumped in and swam around. Lapis joined in and played with the water a bit. Bismuth was a bit unsure but she jumped in making a splash, the three simply swam around playing and having fun in the water. They three got out of the water and walked up to a grassy hill and looked in the distance, it was a breathtaking view. They watched the sun set over the horizon, "Tomorrow we are going to go on a train carriage" Stardust informed them.

When the sun had setted they started to star gaze. In the morning when Stardust got up she saw some creatures hopping past on their strong back legs. "Woah! What are those?!" Bismuth asked. Stardust looked at her and looked at the creatures who were now munching on the grass "Uh... those are Kangaroos... aren't you like thousands of years old? I think you should know that?" Stardust answered.

The group heard a train in the distance. Lapis sprouted her water wings, grabbed the two and flew towards the tracks. When the train came she flew into an open storage carriage. "You two may want to shape shift into me, it's what Garnet and Amethyst do when they come" Stardust told them. Lapis nodded, she shape shifted into a dragon like the way Stardust is but blue with darker blue markings. Bismuth thought about it then she shape shifted she was her normal grey colour but the markings were a purple colour. "Hmmm" Stardust noted, she undid her bandana and tired it around Bismuth's neck to hide her gemstone.

"Wear this, and take care of it". Stardust told the gem who nodded. "How long do we ride for?" She asked. "About a day or two" Stardust replied. They waited on the carriage for two days. When the train started to approach the city Bismuth was amazed "Whoah, what is this place?" She asked. "New Leaf City" Stardust replied. The train entered a tunnel then arrived at a large train station, there were multiple passenger trains stopped at other spots letting humans off or on then after a few minutes the train would go away into the distance. There was a elevator and escalators to get onto a higher platform get over the other train tracks and get into the city. The group went up the escalator and exited the train station.

Bismuth was really amused by the large towering buildings, Lapis thought they were kinda cool. On the way out Stardust had brought a small backpack what was pink and had a purple cat on it. She also grabbed a few maps and a list on things to do. "So what do you guys want to do first?" She asked "We can go to an aquarium, museum, watch a movie... as wel as others..." Stardust asked. "Aquarium would be nice" Lapis said, Bismuth nodded in agreement. "Okay, it's near the oceon so would you rather catch a train or walk there?" Stardust asked again. "Walking" Bismuth replied. Stardust nodded and started to lead them towards the ocean.

It was a long walk but they enjoyed looking at all the amazing tall buildings. They finally arrived to a building that was right next to the ocean. It had the aquarium's name aswel as a few images of sea creatures. They entered and went to the front desk, Stardust paid. They walked through and saw many tanks with all sorts of sea creatures in them. Lapis enjoyed looking at the fish. They also got to see dolphins. After a few hours the sun started to set and they got out of the aquarium. "I know someone who owns a hotel, they will let us stay for however long as we would like" Stardust led them to a hotel.

However at their home, the gems were having the opposite of fun about to happen. "Peridot!, please contact them and tell them to return, Black Diamond's army is going to come for us!" Garnet yelled. "I can't believe they changed their mind to come now!" Pearl panicked. "Garnet before they left why didn't yo-" Amethyst said. "I didn't have time!" Garnet shouted panicking.

I know Lapis and Bismuth have not totally shapeshifted canonically but this is a fan fic and the canon never said they cannot shape shift.
