The three did lots of things in the large city. They saw animals at a zoo, they went to the cinema. They went to the top of a skyscraper that gave them a nice view of the whole city. They rode a monorail, they even went to a theme park!. The gems stayed shape shifted the whole time but did regularly take breaks in the hotel room.

It was a sunset and the three were on a boat that was calmly moving across the ocean, they were on the outside enjoying the view and breeze. They were the only ones other than the driver on the boat. There were seagulls soaring in the air and a nice gentle cool breeze, it was a calm moment they all relaxed. "This trip is really good" Lapis said. Lapis high fived Stardust. The dragon looked at Bismuth and held her paw up, she was a little confused at first but then she high fived the dragon. She smiled, this was the first time Stardust ever high fived her, maybe one day she will start using her name.

The nice relaxing ride was quickly disturbed by the phone ringing, Stardust took it out of her bag and saw Peridot was trying to video chat with them. She accepted and saw Peridot panicking, she seemed to be hiding behind some rocks. "This is Peridot, Garnet had told me to tell you to come back,now!, I finally was able to conta- aahhhhh!" After Peridot's scream the connection was cut, the gems and Stardust was surprised and worried. Lapis shape shifted back to normal "Don't shape shift during flight" She warned as the picked the two up in her arms and took to the sky.

"Good thing we didn't leave anything behind" Stardust said trying to think of the best during this situation. "I am sorry guys, I didn't think it would end like this" Stardust apologized. "It's not your fault" Lapis assured her. "Yeah, they should be able to endure it until we get there" Bismuth told her. She didn't know how wrong she was.

When they finally got to the warp pad, Bismuth took off the bandana and gave it to Stardust then shapeshifted back to normal. The three then warped home and ran onto the beach they didn't find anyone "huh?" Stardust wondered. They looked around and in the distance they saw a large dome over Little Homeworld, the gems panicked, the three ran over as fast as they could. "So That Is why we could not warp there!" Lapis pointed out. When they finally got there they noticed it was a black electric barrier.

Bismuth grew a bit angry at it so she ran straight at it about to punch it with hopes. "Bismuth wait!" Lapis shouted. Bismuth didn't hear her and she went running at it and full speed, and punched it. However it electrocuted her, she fell to the ground, she panted a little and was surprised she didn't poof. Then a large transparent black hand appeared, it grabbed Lapis.

The hand had a tight grip of her whole body, Stardust was surprised and worried for the gem. Lapis tried to squeeze out but was too weak to move. She saw Stardust's fire ball hit the arm "Let her go!" Stardust shouted. Lapis tried to sprout her wings or shapeshift she was electrocuted briefly by the aura. Bismuth shouted at Stardust to run, she did she ran as far as she could. Lapis sighed in defeat. The hand chucked Lapis way up into the sky. On the way down the hand shot her and swatted her really far away.

Stardust saw Lapis crash somewhere in the distance so she ran after her. She searched near where she thought she had fell, after a while of searching. Stardust kept walking until she saw a fallen tree on a patch of grass, she approached it and saw Lapis laid on her belly and not moving. Stardust was happy and ran up to her "Found you!" She shouted. She noticed the gem did not move at all, she looked at her gemstone and saw it was completely fine.

Stardust put her paw up and poked her in the face, she climbed onto the gem's head and pulled her hair. "Come one, we have to go, stop messing around!" Stardust said worried. Stardust cuddled up next to her, Bismuth found them and approached Stardust"I think she was knocked out, she should wake up soon" She answered with a slight smile, she hoped she would be fine.

A few hours had past and the gem still had not even moved. Stardust was getting more worried. Peridot approached them Stardust hugged her. "Peridot! You are okay!" Stardust yelled glad. Peridot hugged her back with a smile but frowned a little when she noticed Lapis seemingly lifeless on the ground. "She touched the barrier didn't she?" Peridot asked, Stardust nodded. "Alright, we need to carry, or drag, whatever, to the house, I will explain what happend" Peridot told them. Bismuth carried Lapis in her arms to the house.

They got inside and put Lapis on the couch. Peridot started to read out a note from Black Diamond

"I had changed my mind, I will get the dragon in a few days, my army is prepared. When a gem is hit by my power from one of my barriers there is a chance of them being knocked out giving them nightmares, they still get knocked out and have nightmares. I have a lot more powers for you to learn. They need to break out of the curse themselves."

Peridot sighed. The gems looked at Lapis with relief and hope but also worried. She didn't really move much, she did occasionally do a few snores in the next few days but didn't wake.

Over the next day Peridot worked on a ship. Stardust was excited to go in space, but she was still aware it was serious.
