Leon POV
"Emil, I don't want you to go." I pouted as he walked to me and hugged me. We were waiting in the school yard for our big brothers. I grabbed on to his shirt and he smiled.
"I'm not going anywhere. I will see you tomorrow at school. We're only in first grade!" I smiled and waved as he walked to his big brother Lukas. I felt a tap on my shoulder and my big brother Yao pulled me out of my trance.
"Do you want to have him over tomorrow?" I beamed and jumped up and down giggling. I would be able to see my best friend again tomorrow! Yao just laughed as we walked home.
"Thank you thank you thaaank Yooou!" I sang as we got home. I ran in and munched on my cheese stick and crackers. I hoped Emil's big brother would let him. I started doing my paper on addition and subtraction and before I knew it it was 20h, my bed time.
"Good night big brother!" I surprise attacked Yao with a big hug and scrambled upstairs waiting for morning.
"Leon you're going to be late!" I bolted up and jumped into my uniform for Hetamentary. I flew down the stairs and out the door with my bag and passed my mom on the way out.
"Oof!"
"I'm sorry!" I looked to my side and found I had fallen on top of Emil. I felt my cheeks blush and I pulled him up. He brushed it off and gave me a hug.
"Hi Leon! Lukas said I can go to your house after school. I can't wait!" He smiled and we skipped into our class. I sighed waiting for class to start. Even if this was the most boring thing in the history of the entire world at least I was with my best friend. Plus we had a play date after school!
