22 minutes later, more kids show up.
These kids are also kids that both Aria and Spencer have seen at school.
"Seems like other kids suddenly feel like havin' ice cream." says Aria.
"True." says Spencer.
At this point in time, the ice cream bar is a popular place for many of the kids in Rosewood.
The ice cream bar is named 'The Pink Flufforaama' and is a place kids of the next generation unfortunately won't ever get to experience since when Aria and Spencer turn 14 the ice cream bar will close forever and be replaced by an alcohol store.
Rosewood never get a new ice cream bar.
Most of the local politicians think a new ice cream bar will be a waste of money.
At this time though, the ice cream bar still exist and kids love it.
"Hi. Get me a mango ice cream. Yeah." says a blonde girl as she walk up to the counter.
Her name is Alison DiLaurentis and she's a popular kid at school.
She's also a bit of a spoiled brat.
Alison always wear awesome expensive clothes and she is a sweetie.
By a table on the other side of the room two girls sit and talk and eat ice cream.
They are named Emily Fields and Hanna Marin.
Alison, Emily and Hanna are friends with Aria and Spencer.
Last year at age 7 the five girls all met each other and quickly became friends, despite them not all being very similar.
2 weeks later.
Spencer and Aria are in Spencer's room, playing with plushies.
"And here we have Sir Goodnight." says Spencer as she pretend that her black teddy jump out from behind a wall built from wooden toy blocks.
"Cute. He's an awesome plushie." says Aria.
"Yeah. Sir Goodnight is my best plushie. He is like me...kind of..." says Spencer.
"Here comes WoWo." says Aria as she pretend that Spencer's purple bunny plushie walk up to Sir Goodnight.
"So sweet. WoWo is one of Sir Goodnight's 4 best buddies." says Spencer.
"That is cool." says Aria.
"Indeed, yes." says Spencer.
"Awesome." says Aria.
Spencer and Aria are happy.
Only a couple years later, Spencer will outgrow plushie toys, but at this point in time she still love them.
"Hi, girls." says Melissa Hastings, Spencer's older sister, as she enter the room.
At this point in time Melissa is sweet and known by the nickname Lissa to Spencer and Aria.
"Hi, Lissa." says Spencer.
"Can I join?" says Melissa.
"Yeah, sure." says Aria and Spencer.
"Thanks." says Melissa.
3 hours later, Ella Montgomery arrive to pick up Aria.
Aria hug Spencer goodbye for the day.
They will meet again next day at school.
"So, Aria, did you and Spencer have fun?" says Ella during the car-ride home.
"Yeah. We played with plushie toys." says Aria.
"Okay. Nice." says Ella.
"Yup." says Aria.
"Sweet. And speakin' of plushies, the new mint-green plush cat you wanted has arrived." says Ella.
"Really? Cool." says Aria.
"Yes." says Ella.
When they get home, Ella gives the new plushie to Aria.
"Awww! So cute. It's an awesome plushie." says a happy Aria.
"I'm glad you like it." says Ella.
"New plushie need a great name. I'll name it...uh...Coolie." says Aria.
"That's a sweet name." says Ella.
"Yup." says Aria.
"Okay." says Ella.
The next day Aria show her new plushie to Spencer.
"Aww! Cute plush toy." says Spencer.
"Thanks. Its name is Coolie." says Aria.
"Nice name." says Spencer.
"Yeah." says Aria.
"Can I touch it?" says Spencer.
"Of course." says Aria.
Spencer gently touch Aria's new plushie.
"Cute. It's so soft." says Spencer.
"I know. I held it all night." says Aria.
"I'd done so too, if I had a plushie like that." says Spencer.
"Awesome." says Aria.
"Yeah." says Spencer.
Spencer and Aria play with all of Aria's plush animals.
"These plushies are awesome." says Spencer.
"Thanks, girl." says Aria.
"No problem, girl." says Spencer.
Aria gives Spencer a BFF hug.
"You're my best friend." says Aria.
"You're mine as well." says Spencer.
"Wonderful." says Aria.
"Sweet." says Spencer.
It is clear that Aria and Spencer are very close friends.
They 100 % trust each other.
This trust will only have one road-bump in the future and this is when Spencer for a short time joins the A-team.
Spencer does this to take it down from the inside, but Aria think Spencer has joined the A-team for real so their friendship almost end, but in the end they remain friends and eventually fall in love with each other in a mature adult way and get married.
Now, let's not jump ahead all the way to that here.
Aria and Spencer are still 8 year old kids.
"Girls, do you want some candy?" says Ella as she enter Aria's room.
"Yeah, mama." says Aria.
Ella smile as she give Aria and Spencer each a small bag of wonderful red candy and then leave.
"Awww! Strawberry candy." says Aria.
"You've a very sweet mother." says Spencer.
"True." says Aria.
"My mother's nice too, but she isn't as fun as yours." says Spencer.
"Okay. I think your mom's kinda cool." says Aria.
"She is, I guess. She was the one who gave us such a wonderful library day." says Spencer.
"Yeah. That was a very sweet day." says Aria.
Flashforward to when Aria and Spencer ( and Hanna, Emily and Alison too ) are 14:
Aria and Spencer, along with Emily, Hanna and Alison, just stand there, nearly paralyzed by sadness.
What is in front them is the ruins of 'The Pink Flufforaama', the ice cream bar they all loved so much when they were 6, 7, 8 and 9.
Only a couple days ago, a group of engineers broke it down into ruins.
The 5 girls feel sad that the ice cream bar is gone, even if they are a bit too old for such a place now.
All of them still has so many cute memories from that sweet childish ice cream bar. Many others feel the same.
Nearly every kid in town used to love to come to 'The Pink Flufforaama' for yummy ice cream as often as possible.
There's also a sign that says that an alcohol store will be built instead.
Aria, Spencer, Alison, Hanna and Emily sort of held hope that a new ice cream bar would open, but that is unfortunately not going to happen.
"I don't think there's any kid of our generation here in Rosewood who doesn't feel sad about the fact that 'The Pink Flufforaama' is gone forever." says Emily.
3 months later, the new alcohol store has completely replaced 'The Pink Flufforaama'.
There's no sign of the cute fun ice cream bar.
Instead there's a boring black building on the spot where the ice cream bar once was.
On the sign above the door of the black building it says "McBride's Fine Alcohol - Get your rare fine alcohol here."
Every single time Aria, Spencer, Emily, Hanna and Alison walk by, they feel sad about the fact that their number one favorite childhood hang-out no longer exist.
End of the flashforward.
"Wanna go to the ice cream bar tomorrow?" says Spencer.
"Yeah, of course." says Aria.
"Good. We can go there after school." says Spencer.
"Awesome. Sounds nice." says Aria.
"Indeed, my friend." says Spencer.
Author's note: Sorry that I had the town close the ice cream bar so the girls get sad, but I had to come up with a logical way to explain why the ice cream bar no longer exist when the girls are 15 / 16 when season 1 of the show begins so this story can still be linked to true canon in that sense, at least. Also as they get older the Grille and later the Brew becomes their primary hang-out, as we see on the show.
