The Crazy Girl with Origami
"Now...who will be my first victim?" Wendy licked her lips viciously."Kachidoki. I wonder why stupid Dennis even trusted this worm to get the job done and defeat Yuya. Not to mention Naho went off to go have fun with the reject from Ritual and forgot to take Yuzu with her. However, I will be happy to oblige."
"Naho.." Yuya grimaced at the sinister girl he had faced."Naho, we want to help you, not hurt you."
"And I want some fucking chocolate right now. We can't always have what we want. But what I can have right now is this cute bimbo here."
A vein appeared on Yuzu's head as she was held back by Yuto and Sawatari in a comical matter."Who are you calling a bimbo?! Listen here, you! I'm not the one wearing tight clothes and exposing myself to everyone!"
"Hahaha! I like you!" Wendy clapped to herself."Say, let's have a duel, yeah? I want to see if you can put your money where your mouth is. Unless you're too scared and want one of these dickless idiots to fight me."
"Dickless?!" Sawatari cried out in shock."Why you-!"
"I'll do it." Yuzu cut him off."I'll duel with you."
"Yuzu..." Yuto approached her."Are you sure? She's strong. We don't know if we can even defeat her."
"He's right, Yuzu." Gongenzaka voiced his worries."It'd be better if we all cooperate together. She won't listen to reason so we'll have to help her see ourselves."
"No guys. It's fine." Yuzu gave her friend a warm smile."She's just like Serena and Ruri. She's been captured by Academia but she's being used for bad purposes. I want to help her on my own as her counterpart."
"I guess we can't talk her out of this." Cody sighed.
Yuya chuckled at that."I guess not. Be careful though, Yuzu. If you do need our help, we'll jump in at any time."
"Thank you, guys." She gave them a thumbs up with a determined expression."Wendy! I accept your challenge!"
"Awesome. I was craving for some carnage." She grinned from ear to ear."How about we do this without that stupid action card rule? After all, you are not an official Lancer."
"Fine by me." She said without hesitation, activating her Duel Disk.
"Duel!"

"I'll go first! From my hand, I summon Origami Elephant in ATK mode!"

"You might now its effect by now. But I can add any "Origami" card from my Deck to my hand!"m Wendy proceeded to add a card to her hand."I set a card face-down and end my turn!"
"My turn! I draw!" Yuzu carefully observed her hand and back to Wendy.' She only Summoned one monster and threw a face-down. Normally, she's a lot more aggressive during her duels. I wonder if that card has to do with it.'
"Wendy must be hiding something." Yuya caught the attention of the other spectators."Last time we duel, she wasted no time in viciously attacking or causing damage."
"Yes. It is very strange indeed." Yuto rubbed his chin in thought."Whatever the case, Yuzu must proceed carefully."
"When my opponent controls a monster and I don't, I can Special Summon Solo The Melodious Songstress in ATK mode!"

"At this moment, I activate my face-down Quick-Play SPell, Origami Shower of Curtains!" Wendy suddenly cried out."All "Origami" monsters I control gain 100 ATKs per monster on the field."

"Next, I activate the Spell Card, Melodius switch! I return Songstress to my hand and instead, I can Special Summon Serenade the Melodius Diva from my hand!"

"Battle! Go, Shopina! Attack Origami Elephant!" Yuzu commanded.
Shopina began tapping on her piano, creating giant musical notes that landed on the paper-made elephant.
"Dumbass. Monsters that have their ATKs increased cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects." Wendy rose her hands in the air in glee."And the damage dealt is returned to me as LP!"

"What?!" Yuzu gasped."So all damage that I'm dealing to her becomes LP instead."
"That's a tedious strategy she's going for." Yuto noted."She'll have to do something about that Continous Spell if she wants to go anywhere."
"Alright then. I set two cards face-down. I end my turn."
"Don't worry. Origami Shower of Curtains requires me to pay 500 ATKs per each of our turns, but I won't do that so it's destroyed!"
"Here I come! I draw! I activate the Ritual Spell, Origami's Charm! I tribute Origami Elephant in order to Ritual Summon!"
The elephant began folding itself as it changed color, turning into a ball of paper and then it started unfolding itself back."The floor opens itself to reveal the monster created from the used paper! Take your wisdom of ages and write a new story! Ritual Summon! Appear, Level 4! Origami Great Wizard!"

Both monsters ented a multicolored vortex while Wendy chanted."Legendary being that knows all! Give creation to the book that grants tremendous wisdom! Fusion Summon! Appear, Level 6! Origami World Sage!"

"I activate the effect of Artica the Melodius Diva from my hand! When my opponent activates the effect of a monster summoned from the Extra Deck, I can Special Summon her to the field in DEF mode!"
A young woman appeared on the field, holding a triangle in her hands.

"Furthermore, I activate the Trap Card, Melodius Mayhem! You'll take 800 points of damage per "Melodius" monsters I control."
"What?!" Wendy yelled out as she was struck by lightning.

"Nice one, Yuzu!" Cody cheered on.
"Indeed." Gongenzaka nodded in approval."Not only did she overcome the difference in LP, but she also managed to reduce them."
"Keep it up, Yuzu!" Yuya said.
Wendy's right eye was twitching furiously, locking eyes with her Standard counterpart."How dare you make me take damage, you bitch?! That's it! You die! Battle! Slaughter her, World Sage!"
The paper sage began spinning his wand, creating a ring of energy that was thrown at Shopina and destroyed her.

"At the end of the battle phase, World Sage allows me to add an "Origami" Trap Card from my Deck. I set it to the field and end my turn!"
"My turn! I draw!" Yuzu drew her card."Wendy, I have to ask you. Why are you doing this?"
"Why?" She cocked her head to the side."Why not?" She noticed Yuzu's frown deepening and sighed."If you mean by motivation, I have none except to please...Yuke-kun!" Her eyes sparkled in glee.
"Yuke...?" Yuzu repeated slowly.
Wendy spat on the floor with a look of disgust."Of course, a bimbo like you could never stand on the same ground as my precious Yuke-kun~"
"If you haven't noticed, Yuke is not who he claims to be!" Yuto said, stopping the girl in the middle of her moment."Yuke is in fact a person named Hiraki Sotari!"
Gongenzaka nodded, picking up after him."Hiraki Sotari is our friend that was captured by Academia and turned into...Yuke. They messed with his head and body to the point that he's unrecognizable and vice versa!"
"Not to mention Yuke is also not my original counterpart from Ritual." Yuya added."The people from the Ritual Dimension have told us what Yuke really was like and the timelines don't add up! The "Yuke" you know is just an artificial counterpart made by Academia using the body of our friend, Hiraki Sotari!"
"SHUT UP! I HEARD ENOUGH OF YOUR LIES!" Wendy screamed at the top of her lungs."I won't accept this! I absolutely won't! My Yuke is Yuke! You all will pay for lying to me like that!"
"She's completely insane..." Sawatari croaked.
"I'll help you see! I won't give up on you, Wendy! Just like Serena, you're being held captive against your own will! From my hand, I activate the Spell Card Second Stance of the Melodious! I tribute a monster I control and draw three cards from my Deck! Yes! I drew it!"
Wendy rose a brow in curiousness."What did you draw?! Whatever it is, it won't do you any good when you duel against me!"
"I doubt that's the case! I activate the Spell Card, Ostinato! If I control no monsters I can Fusion Summon a "Melodious!" monster using monsters from my hand or Deck! I'll fuse Score the Melodious Diva and another copy of Serenade the Melodious Diva from my Deck!"
"Fusing monsters from your Deck? That can't be!"
Both of the Diva monsters entered a multicolored vortex as Yuzu began to chant."Guided by the baton that tells the story of a hero! Let the music be heard with the delightful sound of the notes! Fusion Summon! Come, Level 6! Schuberta the Melodious Maestra!"

"Impossible." Wendy bit her lower lip."This bitch can Fusion Summon as well? But they're nothing but Standard Trash!"
"You think so?" Yuto smiled, his eyes closed."If you really believe they are ordinary Standard people, then you have another thing coming. Gongenzaka and Sawatari have defeated two of your comrades respectively. You should know that underestimating us could be your downfall."
"And you're facing Yuzu." Cody folded his arms."She'll give you a rough time before you even come close to defeating her. I know she can win."
"Cody..." She murmured, her cheeks barely turning pink for a second."That's right. I can't lose this Duel! I activate Schuberta's effect! Once per turn, during either of our turns, I can banish up to three cards in your Graveyard! And for the rest of this turn, Schuberta's ATKs are increased by 200 for each until the end of this turn!"
Wendy watched has three cards came out from her Graveyard; Origami Elephant, Witch, and Wizard before vanishing into thin air.

"Battle! I attack Origami World Sage with Schuberta the Melodious Maestra! Wave of the Great!"
"I activate the Continous Trap Card, Origami Splendor! Once per turn, when my opponent declares battle to a monster I control, I gain LP equal to the difference! So I'll get 900 LP!"

World Sage was consumed by the tremendous sound waves sent by Schuberta until it exploded.

"So close!" Cody cursed out.
"I...end my turn..." Yuzu lowered her head.' Even now, I couldn't even do much to her. Not even a scratch.' She shook her head."Normally, Schuberta would return to my Extra Deck and her summoning materials would be Special Summoned, but thanks
"That was something." Wendy shook her head."Fortunately, I had a backup plan just in case you managed to overpower my sage. Now it's my turn! Time to have some fun! It's too bad we're not doing an Action Duel. What I wouldn't give to have the chance to bash your delicate body into a pulp with my own hands. Pitty. I draw! I activate the Spell Card, Reduce Reuse and Recycle! I can add a Ritual Spell from my Graveyard along with a Ritual Monster and add them to my hand!"
"She's getting a fresh hand even though Yuzu just took out that monster of hers." Sawatari said."Talk about pointless."
"I activate the Ritual Spell Once more, Origami's Charm! I tribute the Origami Great Wizard in my hand along with the Level 2 Origami Flyjack in my hand! Great viper that lives in the caverns deep in chaos! Submerge the world with the union that controls human beings! Ritual Summon! Appear, Level 6! Origami Hydra!"
A large snake made out of paper appeared on the field, its tail coiling around them due to its size.

"Hydra's Special Effect activates now! I gain LP equal to one of its Summoning materials' ATKs! Which means I gain 1500 LP!"

"Furthermore, I can give any number of LP I have and add them to its ATKs! I know your monster has a limit of 3000 ATKs, so I suppose 2000 LP will be enough to surpass that amount! Paper Gift!"

"4000 ATKs!" Yuzu gasped at the incredible amount of power the giant snake had.
"Battle Phase! Go, majestic Hydra! Giant Whip!" The snake rose its tail high in the air, preparing to attack.
"At this moment, Schuberta's effect activates! I banish three cards from your Graveyard and she gains 200 ATKs per each card!"
Wendy laughed maniacally as Shower of Curtains, Origami's Charm and Great Wizard banished from her graveyard.

Yuzu braced herself for the attack but did not help much, sending her crashing against the ground after the snake crushed Schuberta with its tail

"That was a nice expression of pain!" Wendy bit her nails in anticipation."Yuke-kun...I'm almost done here! Watch me win! I end my turn! At this moment, Hydra's ATKs go back to normal!"

"Yuzu! Are you okay?!" Yuya asked worryingly.
"If you need us to step in, let us know!" Gongenzaka reminded her.
Yuzu got back on her feet, wincing as she felt pressure on her right ankle."I-I'm fine...It's my turn! I draw! I activate my Trap Card, Melodious Countdown! I can Special Summon a Fusion Melodious Monster from my Graveyard! Take the stage again, Schuberta!"

"What will that weakling accomplished now?" Wendy taunted between laughs.
"Watch this! Melodious Countdown also has another effect! The monster Special Summoned with this card has its effects negated, however, that's not that I need in order to do my next move! From my hand, I summon Soprano the Melodious Songstress!"

"That's..." Gongenzaka blinked rapidly, making sure his eyes weren't fooling him.
"She's going to summon that monster!" Yuya rose a fist in the air while the others watched in confusion.
"I activate Soprano's Effect! I can Fusion Summon with monsters on my field or hand including this card!" Both monsters entered a multicolored vortex as Yuzu began chanting."Angel's song, genius of excellence! Guided by the baton, gather your power! Fusion Summon! Now, take the stage, Level 6! Blood Diva the Melodious Choir!"

"Hah! What's that small fry going to do against me?" Wendy scoffed.
"You might think it's a small fry, but this is my ace monster! And I'll show you why! Battle Phase!"
'What?! She's attacking me just like that?!' Wendy was perplexed at the risky move."Have it your way! If you're so eager to lose, I won't leave you hanging! I activate Hydra's effect! I'll give it 1000 of my LP to add them to its ATKs!"

Hydra rose its tail in the air and brought it down to the little fairy, however, the paper exploded upon contact, causing a shower of paper to engulf the area.
"B-b-but what just happened?!" Wendy looked around in horror.
"Blood Diva has the effect of not being able to be destroyed by battle or card effects. And when she battles, I receive no damage from battle involving this card and when she battles a Special Summoned monster, you take damage equal to the difference in their ATKs and also that monster is destroyed!"

Wendy fell on her knees, her hair covering her eyes.
"Yes!" Yuya rose a fist to the air.
"That's was a marvelous move!" Gongenzaka cheered as well.
Yuto and Cody looked at each other and nodded, indicating their happiness.
"Just finish her off, Yuzu!" Sawatari cried out to her.
Yuzu approached Wendy a few steps, but kept her distance, showcasing a warm smile."Hey. Wendy? I'm sorry for taking things too far, but there was no other way for me to reach you. I think we've both had enough of this, huh? Let's stop fighting. It's getting us nowhere and besides, I don't want to fight you. I want to be your friend because I know exactly how you feel. But this isn't the right way to do things. You can't let yourself be controlled a simply do bad things on their behalf."
"Shut up. What the hell do you know? What I want is just what Yuke-kun wants...I will service him until I give out my dying breath...him and Seiko-sama...they are everything to me and you are what I need to make them happy!"
"But what about your own happiness?!" Yuzu quickly countered."Are you even doing this for yourself? You're your own person, you have to know that!"
"Shut your damn trap, you wench!" Wendy snarled."Yuke-kun...my wishes are his wishes! I want to be his and for him to love me!"
"But that can't happen!" Yuzu snapped back at her, surprised at her own tone."Because Yuke...no, Hiraki...he's already in love with Serena!"
"What-" Wendy muttered, barely a whisper."That...that can't be...wait...!"
-Flashback-
"But why?! If we go to Standard, we'll be able to cause all the carnage we want! And besides, we can card their families! The Lancer will be weakened by their emotional state that they won't stand a chance!" However, Yuke ignored her pleas and continued walking ahead."That whore! She must have told you something, didn't she?! For fuck's sakes, why do you care what this piece of trash Serena says?!"
Yuke stopped in his tracks and looked over his shoulder, his crimson eyes blazing at her. Wendy immediately cowered at the sight, taking a few steps back. Just like the first time they met, she felt an immense pressure coming from her that was crushing her inside out.
-Flashback ends-
"So he really...he really..." Wendy grabbed her head hard, shaking it to the sides.
"He's not who you think he is." She repeated."Do you remember meeting him in your Dimension? What was he like? How did he look? Because the stories the people in the Ritual Dimension told us contradict what Yuke represents today."
"Of course I met him!" She stood up indignantly."I-" She stopped. Not a word came out of her mouth.' Where DID I meet him? I'm sure I must have seen him somewhere. But...where is somewhere? I can't remember what my old home was like. My parents? Friends?' She rose her head up, a blank stare told the whole story."I can't remember. Am I really being manipulated...?"
"It looks like Yuzu is getting through." Cody sighed in relief."I guess we didn't have anything to worry about after all."
While the others were feeling better and began celebrating amongst themselves, Yuto did not look away from the two duelists.' Something is up.'
"Come on, Wendy." Yuzu offered her hand."It's not too late to fix your mistakes. We can help you. We really do want to help you!"
Wendy looked at her back with an incredulous look on her face that was becoming sour second per second."I...I..." She stood motionless for several seconds that seemed minutes. Her bracelet was glowing slightly, which caused Yuzu's to react to it.
"You know something...you're right..." She chuckled dryly."I don't care what Yuke or Seiko think anymore. You're right...I want to feel alive! I want the thrill of this duel and I want the satisfaction of defeating you! I activate Hydra's effect in the graveyard! I banish it from the game to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower Ritual monster from my Deck! Arise, Origami Puppeteer!"
A new paper monster appeared on the field, holding a few smaller figures made out of paper in its hand.
Origami Puppeteer Level 3, Light, Fairy, Ritual, ATK: 1200, DEF: 200
"The duel is still on, Yuzu! But this time, I will fight for no one but myself!" Wendy cackled, her back bending backward.
Yuzu clicked her tongue, grimacing."I set a card and end my turn."
"My turn!" Wendy's pupils dilated."I draw! I activate the Spell Card, Chaotic Fusion! I fuse Origami Puppeteer with Origami Deathstaker from my hand!"
The paper monsters turned into pieces and flew inside a blood-colored vortex as Wendy began to chant."The instrument of writing the letter of the devil! Scorch the filthy animals who oppose the ruling of the righteous king! CHAOS Fusion Summon! Arise, Level 10! Origami Stormagni!"
A new monster appeared on the field, however, it was different from the others. It had the form of a castle tower but also had arms. It did not have feet, however, as it was floating in the air.

"I activate the effect of Stormagni! Sharp Blizzard!" The monsters rose one of its arms and it came off of its body, turning into small paper planes that went straight for Yuzu.
Yuzu covered her head as best as she could but the airplanes made a small cut around her body until they went back to Stormagni, forming its hand again.
"When this card is Fusion Summoned, we can exchange LP." She said in a matter-of-fact tone, her signature grin ever-present.

"Not only that, once per turn, my LP double!"

"Her LP just skyrocketed again!" Yuya gritted his teeth.
Gongenzaka clenched his fists in frustration."Not only that, that CHAOS monster...we don't know what it does but we can assume it has a more terrifying effect based on the duels we've seen so far."
"Let's not forget the effect of Chaotic Fusion! I can add a Ritual Spell and monster from my Graveyard to my hand!" She added two cards and her smile widened."Battle! Attack, Stormagni! Until the end phase, this card gains ATKs based on my LP!"

"Strike back, Bloom Diva! I activate her effect! She can't be destroyed by battle and the difference in ATK is dealt to you! ANd your monster is destroyed as well!"
"Fool! Stormagni can't be destroyed by battle or cards effects!" Wendy declared.
Sawatari rose a brow in confusion."I don't get it. What's the point of attacking then? Their effects are protecting them from destruction."
"True enough. I end the battle phase." Wendy folded her arms under her chest after both monsters failed to destroy each other."However, at this point, I activate Stormagni's effect! After it battles a monster, I gain LP equal to the difference in ATKs!"
"That's similar to Yuzu's monster's effect!" Cody pointed out, alarmed.
"Except this one makes her gain LP instead of causing Yuzu to take damage," Gongenzaka noted.

"THat's insane! She has over 9000 LP!" Cody nearly had a heart attack."No way. No way Yuzu can handle that on her own! SHe only has 200 LP left! I don't care what you guys say or think but..." Cody ran to his D-Wheel and retrieved his Duel Disk."...I'm jumping in!" He ran past them, ignoring their calls and stood next to Yuzu, activating his Duel Disk in a swift motion.

Cody winced in pain as electricity shook his entire body."Sorry for taking so long, Yuzu."
"Cody...?" Yuzu breathed."Wait, Cody! This is dangerous! You can't be in this duel!"
"And what about you?" Cody chastised, a hand on his hip."Do you think you can shoulder all of this struggle on your own? Well, I'm not going to let you do that. I'm here and ready to fight. If you can't reach out to her on your own, then we'll do it together."
"Ha! You, loser dogs, beat me?" Wendy snorted."Please! Two love birds wouldn't be able to do me much harm. Especially now that I'm going all out. I end my turn." She beckoned them to come."Let's go."
"With pleasure! My turn! I draw! I activate the effect of Scrap Soda! By discarding it to the graveyard, I can I Special Summon Scrap Rhino from my hand!"

"Next, I activate Rhino's effect! I can target a "Scrap" monster from my graveyard and Special Summon it to the field!"

"Furthermore, I summon Scrap Worm from my hand!"

"I tune the Level 4 Scrap Rhino with the Levels 2 SODA and worm!" Rhino turned into four stars as both lower monsters formed four rings, surrounding them."Steel-cord shards of forgotten glory, lingering on in hateful rage, take form and rise from the vengeful darkness! Synchro Sumon! Rampage and roar, Level 8! Scrap Dragon!"

"I set three cards face-down and end my turn!" Cody huffed, a cold sweat going down the back of his neck. He ruffled his blue hair and turned to Yuzu.' The situation is not as good as it seems. She overshowds us in LP and doesn't help that Yuzu has barely as it is. Hopefully, my trap cards will be able to protect us until I figure out a way to defeat her.'
'Cody...' Yuzu clenched her fist close to her chest.'I'm sorry...if only I was stronger you wouldn't have had to jump in to save me...'
"Hey, Yuzu." His voice broke her out of her thoughts."Don't give me that face. It doesn't suit you. Don't worry about me, alright? We'll make it through this no sweat."

Oh, looks like I drew a very interesting card. I activate the Continous Spell, Last Will On Paper! As long as this card is in play and I control "CHAOS Origami Stormagni" on my field, I can halve your LPs once per turn. Let's do that now!" Yuzu and Cody cried out in pain as lightning engulfed their bodies.

"I...activate my Trap Card, Damage Indicator! When a person receives effect damage, they'll gain back their lost LP plus will receive 500 more per monster on the field!"

"Phew." Sawatari swiped the sweat off his forehead."They're safe."
"For now." Yuto bluntly stated."If they don't go on the offensive, they won't get anywhere."
"That was smart of you, but only bought you a few more seconds of life. You are forgetting that Stormagni has an awesome effect, don't you! Battle! Say goodbye, intruder!"
The giant tower ripped off one of its paper arms and each piece of paper became shurikens that flew down to the dragon.
"At this moment, Stormagni's effect activates! It's ATKs and DEF become equal to my LP!"

"Holy shit!" Cody couldn't help but cursed out."That's impossible!"
"Oh, but it is possible, dumbass! Die!"
"No choice! I activate my Trap Card, All or Nothing! I pay half of my LP and banish a monster I control until the end of this turn! However, the battle is canceled and we do not take any damage!"

"And since the battle was avoided...that means Stormagni won't get any stronger!" Yuzu concluded.
Wendy sneered at Cody, unsatisfied at the outcome of her attack."So what? You think any of that matters now? I set a card and I end my turn. Now, Scrap Dragon returns back to your field!"
"I'll go! I draw!" Yuzu looked down at the set card she had on her field.' I can't use it yet. But..." Her gaze fell once more on her Ritual Counterpart, a bit disturbed at her grin, if it could be call one.' I'll have to lure her in to attack me once again.' "I end my turn."

"Yuzu...' He turned to face her, which she just winked in response, making him blush slightly.'I see. You have a plan. Well, let's put it to action.'
"My turn! I draw! Yuzu, let's go at her with everything we've got!" Cody smiled at his crush.
"Yes!" Yuzu nodded.
"I set a card face-down! Next, I activate Scrap Dragon's effect! I destroy my recently face-down card in order to destroy one of yours! I destroy that bothersome Continous Spell! Battle!"
"What?! Dumbass! Did you forget Stormagni's effect! Don't get carried away, you loser dog!" She shouted.
"I don't think so!" Yuzu intervened."I activate my Trap Card, Melodious Final Stance! During Battle Phase, I can attack immediately!" Bloom Diva flew over to Stormagni, however, Wendy smirked at that and rose her hand.
"I activate my Trap Card, Failed Script! I can the negate the effect of a monster on the field for the rest of this turn! I'll negate your stupid singer's effect!"
"No way!" Cody's eyes widened in shock.

Stormagni rose its giant and simply slapped Bloom Diva to oblivion, creating an intense shockwave that headed towards Yuzu.
"At this time, I activate the second effect of Melodious Final Stance! When an opponent's monster destroys a monster I control, that monster will have its attacked negates for the rest of the turn! And if the monster I targeted with this card's effect is destroyed by battle, I can equip it to any monster on the field and have it increase its ATKs and DEFs by that amount.

"Yuzu! You-!" Cody began.
"It's up to you now, Cody." Yuzu gave him a warm smile before she was sending flying threatening close to the wall of a building, however, Gongenzaka and Yuya caught her just in time.

"Weaklings are still weaklings!" Wendy brushed Yuzu's efforts off."Even if my monster has its effects negated by a card effect, I still have a huge amount of LP at my disposal!" She grabbed two strands of her orange hair and pulled down."Yuzu's efforts did nothing! Your monster is still no match for me!"
"Battle! Scrap Dragon, incinerate and burn that mountain of paper to ashes! Now, Trap Card, activate! Double Dash From the Scraps! During battle Phase, I can have one of my "Scrap" Synchro monsters gain double its ATKs until the end of battle!"

Wendy grimaced slightly, but kept her bravado intact."Nice try! But that won't be enough to defeat me! After this turn, I'll slaughter you and break you to pieces! Do you hear me?!"
"No! It's over!" Cody stated with confidence. He turned to Yuya, giving him a cocky grin which confused the first Pendulum User."Originally, I was saving this back when I dueled Yuya in the Friendship Cup but I didn't get a chance to use it. This is something inspired by his signature card, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! I activate my final Trap Card, Burst of Metal Warfare! When a Synchro "Scrap" monster I control battles a Level 5 or higher monster, battle damage will be double! Ember Blast of Revolution!"
The color drained entirely from Wendy's face, turning as white as a sheet of paper as her pupils dilated at the sight of the incoming condensed blast that Scrap Dragon had fired at her monster. The blast overwhelmed the paper golem, turning the paper black and leaving nothing but embers flying down. Wendy was sent flying to the ground, rolling a few feet away before landing on her sides.

"He did it! He won!" Yuzu cheered, giggling in excitement as she rushed over to Cody and embraced him in a hug."I was so worried! For a second, I thought that it wouldn't work."
"Yuzu..." Cody hugged her back before realizing something."Wait. How did you even figure out what my strategy was."
"To be completely honest, I didn't." She said nonchalantly, causing everyone to fall to the ground comically."But I had trust in you. I believed that you had found a way to do some kind of damage when I saw that look in your eyes, so I took that opportunity to help you to guarantee the victory."
"For a quick thought out plan, that was pretty good. We make a good team, don't we?" He chuckled while turning back to where Wendy was laying. He walked over to her slowly, followed by Yuzu but the latter kept her distance.
"Be careful, Cody. We don't know if she is completely out of her trance yet." Sawatari reasoned.
Cody simply nodded and walked over to the orange-haired girl who was staring into the sky with a neutral expression. He crouched down, tilting his head."I thought you would have something to say to me once the duel was over."
"Why did you have to interfere." She drawled, her voice trailing off without taking her eyes off of the sky."That was supposed to be my perfect victory. But you just had to butt in and get in my way, didn't you? And even defeat me."
"You're giving me too much credit." He responded softly."Without Yuzu's help, there's no way I would have beaten you. You're incredibly powerful that we needed more than one duelist to duel you."
"You're such a white-knight." She groaned in disdain."It's disgusting."
"Well, I couldn't just let Yuzu be hurt like that. And you as well." Cody's response caused her to look directly at his eyes."Had you won that duel, you would have fallen deeper into darkness. And maybe we would never be able to recover you from it. We all want the best for you, believe it or not. We want to free you from the mind control you're kept under so you can have your life again. I might not have known you before today, however, I can tell you're a very caring person based on your sense of responsibility. You put others before you. To me, that's an admirable trait."
Wendy stood still, her mouth agape not knowing what else to say. Her eyes slowly lose the crimson tint and instead turned light blue."I know. You were right this whole time. I was such an idiot for believing in Seiko's lies. She manipulated us when we escaped Academia. Evan, Ace, and I. We were the first Unifiers of Chaos. We kidnapped all of the other members as well. Even back then I...I vaguely remember Yuke. The part of my memory...it's as if it's not there. But I can say for certain that Yuke is not the one who was in my dimension."
"The Unifiers of Chaos." Yuto joined the conversation."We've defeated a few of your group. How many are left?"
"You've defeated Naho, Tariko, Junpei, Tatsuyo and Tokomaru." They all had a confused look on their faces with the last name."Didn't you know? Your comrades who stayed in the Synchro Dimension defeated Tokomaru."
"So Reiji and the others are okay." Yuya said, sighing in relief."That's one worry down."
"What happens when your comrades are defeated?" Gongenzaka addressed the elephant in the room."I suppose failure is not tolerated within your ranks?"
Before Wendy could respond, her Duel Disk began beeping automatically."Quick! Remove her Duel Disk at once!" A voice called out to them. A man wearing a lab coat quicly approached them., He looked like he was in his mid-forties and had blue eyes behind a pair of glasses. He had short black hair swept to the back neatly."Remove her Duel Disk before she gets transported back to Academia!"
Cody did what he was told and immediately took off her Duel Disk before light began emanating from it., He tossed it aside, leaving the Duel Disk out in the open.
"Dr. Brueno...?" Wendy was unsure why that man was here."What the hell is the meaning of this?" With Cody's help, she began sitting up slowly.
"Who are you?" Yuto demanded to the newcomer."Are you with Academia?"
"I was..." He said, shame clear in his voice."I am also one of the people who helped create the entity known as Yuke."
"You...helped make Yuke..." Yuya could not believe his ears. Not only did he get a confession from staff from Academia, but also cleared all the doubts of how Yuke was created.
"Indeed. That was the biggest mistake of my life." He admitted, lowering his head."I've been having sleepless nights ever since. The boy came to us when he was at death's door and we took advantage of that to begin the experiment the Professor had prepared us for. The project was designed specifically to replicate the real deal that blazed through the Ritual Dimension 7 years ago. We managed to use his genetic DNA to create a proxy of what he used to be, however, we never expected that it would be that different."
"What do you mean?" Cody asked.
"While the original goal was to create a replica of Yu, the outcome was completely different. The Professor told one of my former colleague, the Doktor, to make sure he made Yuke's personality-less violent and more controllable due to the immense power that Yu had. I thought it would be better...however...I never expected he would create bonds all over the dimensions. When I learned that the Lancers wanted to get their friend back, I knew I had to do something. I had to stop aiding Academia; the starter of all chaos! But I was not able to help the children! All of the Unifiers of Chaos that lost their duels were transported back but are kept somewhere else. Somewhere that no one has access to and I didn't know how to help them."
"So that's what happened..." Wendy laughed bitterly."Assholes probably figured we would lose and are planning to do something with us. I owe you, Dr. Brueno."
"Please, I do not deserve your gratitude." The man bowed down."Allow me to help you in your quest. I want to make sure all the people that suffered will never suffer again. I want to help free that boy Hiraki of his mental prison. Please! I beg of you!"
Gongenzaka and Sawatari exchanged troubled expressions, unsure of whether to trust this man or not. Yuzu and Cody remained quiet and simply waited for someone else to talk.
"I believe him." Yuya said, putting a hand on Yuto's shoulder."Academia forced him to do all of those things and now he's regretting it deeply. If he wants to help amend for his actions, I say he deserves a chance."
"Agreed." Yuto nodded solemnly."We all make mistakes. It's up to us whether or not we want to fix them and learn from them."
"If that's the case, I am sorry too." Wendy said to them."Especially you two, Yuzu and Yuya. I want to help Yuke-kun get his life back! What do you say, Knight-kun?" She turned to Cody, sticking out her tongue playfully.
"Knight...kun?" He deadpanned.
"Thank you...all of you..." The former doctor began crying silently."Please...give me a minute."
"Poor guy. To carry all of that in his mind..." Cody frowned at the sight.
Yuzu walked up to him and put her head on his shoulder, surprising him.
"Hey, where's my hug and kiss?" Wendy rose a brow at the bluenette."Aren't you forgetting? You sent me flying like a ragdoll!"
"HUH?!" Yuzu gasped indignantly.
Wendy sent her a devilishly smirk, hands on her hips."What? Are you jealous? You guys aren't even dating. He's as free as can be."
"T-t-that's not the point!" Yuzu stammered, her cheeks turning red."I can't let you kiss him!"
"I...do I get a say in thi-?"
"NO!" Both girls shot him a murdering stare, silencing immediately. The group shared a laugh together that even Dr. Brueno found peaceful.
"AHHHH!" Sawatari suddenly screamed, startling everyone around him.
"What is it, Sawatari?! Another enemy?!" Yuya got into a defensive position, looking around.
His self-declared rival shook his head."No! Tariko's sword pinched me in my butt!" He said, pointing at the katana on his back.
"You should probably use the sheath, genius." Gongenzaka pointed at the sword's sheath that was strapped on his hips.
"Jesus, you scared the hell out of me man!" Cody yelled in frustration."I thought something really did happen!"
"Hey!" He pointed dramatically at him."Who do you think I am?! I am Neo Sawatari! And I would never be scared of an opponent enough to-to-t-t-to..." His voice quickly became a whimper as his whole body began to shake.
"What is it now?" Yuto asked impatiently."This better not be another one of your dumb stunts." Shingo's slowly rose his finger up, which Yuto found very bizarre. He followed where he was pointing at and discovered what he was afraid of in an instant."It can't be..."
"That's-" Gongenzaka took a step back.
Dr. Brueno's eyes opened wide to the point where they looked like they could burst out of their sockets at any time."Y-Y-Y-Y-"
On top of a building, a black figure stood still. He had black hair, crimson eyes and was wearing a black tuxedo.
"Yuke-kun..." Wendy let those words hang in the air.
