Now a few months have gone by and Emily, Hanna and Alison have turned 9, so they are caught up with Spencer and Aria in age.
School summer break is only a couple weeks or so away.
This is something most kids are happy about, but Spencer who love school would be very okay to skip summer break and go to school during the summer too.
"Aria, this semester is over soon." says Spencer.
"I know. And I hope you and me will continue to hang out a lot during the summer, Spencer." says Aria.
"Don't worry. I'll spend as much as time with you as I can, just like normal. You're my awesome bestie and I cannot be away from you too long." says Spencer.
Sparia walk to the school lunch-room.
They get into the lunch-line.
"I wonder what food we get." says Aria.
"Hmm...smells like mashed potatoes and fishsticks." says Spencer.
Of course, Spencer turns out to be correct. The food for the day is indeed mashed potatoes, fishsticks and cream sauce.
Spencer is okay with this food, Aria is not though.
Even if she dislike it, Aria is a good girl who eat anyway.
Aria and Spencer join Emily, Hanna and Alison by a table.
It is the table the 5 girls often have. Their favorite table.
"Em, do you still love dolphins?" says Hanna.
"Yeah, they're my favorite animals." says Emily.
"Mama's promised to take me and Jason to Disneyland at summer." says Alison.
"Oh, cool." says Aria.
"Super-awesome!" says Alison, happy and excited.
The same day, after school.
Aria and Spencer hang out in Aria's room.
Aria's little kitten sleep on the bed.
"Your kitten is so cute." says Spencer.
"Yup. She's adorable." says Aria.
"It's sweet that she's named after me." says Spencer.
"Okay. Thanks so much." says Aria.
Aria takes a seat by her piano and play a cute song.
The song is 'Little Cat' by Jennifer Areliah.
"Really sweet." says Spencer.
"Nice that ya like it." says Aria.
"My friend, you've become really awesome at piano." says Spencer.
"I've practiced a lot." says Aria.
"That's so cool." says Spencer.
"Yup." says Aria.
Sparia are 100 % happy.
Both of them smile in a very cute way.
4 days later.
Mrs Hastings is talking to Amanda Kahn, Noel's mom.
"Your son and his friends beat up my sweet daughter." says Mrs Hastings.
"I'm sure it wasn't serious. Boys are sort of rough at times." says Amanda.
"Look at this." says Mrs Hastings as she place a photo on the table.
The photo is one of Spencer as she looked like the day Noel and his gang attacked her.
"Do you claim that Noel caused that...? I'll make sure he'll be properly punished. It is very unacceptable to beat up a girl that way." says Amanda.
"Thanks, Mrs Kahn." says Mrs Hastings.
"You're welcome. You have my word that Noel will recieve punishment for hurting your daughter." says Amanda.
50 minutes later.
"Noel, I've been told that you and your friends attacked the youngest of the Hastings girls. That's not allowed. I'm taking away your internet for a month and you're not leaving the house for any reason, other than school, of course. Also, no candy or ice cream or any other forms of snacks for a week. Finally, your friends are absolutely forbidden from coming over to visit you for a week as well." says Amanda in a hard cold tone.
"What...? NO!" says Noel, throwing a huge tantrum.
"Calm down, at once!" says Amanda in anger.
She takes away Noel's computer, then push Noel into his room, close and lock the door.
5 minutes later.
Amanda tell her husband Steven Kahn about what Noel did to Spencer.
"We've not been strict enough when it comes to Noel. From now on his freedom shall be highly restricted." says Steven.
"Yeah." says Amanda.
"Starting today, the boy won't get to leave the house without an adult watching his every damn move. I'll assign one of the guards to follow Noel to school everyday to make sure he doesn't bully the other children." says Steven.
"Okay. Good." says Amanda.
The next day, Noel is very angry when he get to school, having one of his parents' personal security guards following him in order to keep him from being a bad kid like he usually is.
The guard is a 29 year old woman with the body and personality of a female elite-soldier.
Her name is Roxanne DeMarco and she is half Italian.
She wear a lady tuxedo in dark military blue, the Kahn family's signature color.
Noel sees some of his friends and is about to walk over to them.
"No, stop, boy. You're not allowed to interact with your friends unless your father or mother allow you to do so." says Roxanne, all strict.
Noel almost start to cry.
"Don't whine like a piece of crap. You're not a stupid 4 year old anymore." says Roxanne, trying to keep Noel from crying.
Spencer and Aria sees it all.
"Who's the lady with Noel...?" says Aria.
"I don't know." says Spencer.
"She's a Kahn security guard." says Alison as she walk up to Aria and Spencer.
Alison know this since her parents and Noel's parents are sort of friends and Alison has seen the Kahn family's personal security guards when she has been with her parents over to the Kahn mansion.
The Kahn family is rich and rather egocentric so they have a team of around 60 personal security guards.
"Oh, okay." says Spencer and Aria.
Alison, Aria and Spencer think it's good that the guard is there because they understand that her job is to make sure that Noel doesn't bully other kids and do other bad things.
"Young man, let's go to class. And do not even speak to any other kid, if you do you'll be punished for it." says Roxanne.
Noel starts to cry.
Roxanne slap Noel on the shoulder, as she has orders from Steven and Amanda to do if Noel doesn't do what he is told.
It hurts, so Noel cry even more.
Roxanne hold a hand over Noel's mouth, grab him by his left wrist and pull him along to class.
The same day, after school.
"Mom, a security guard was in school today, keeping Noel from doing bad stuff and such." says Spencer.
"Good, that means that Noel's mother kept her promise to me to punish Noel for beating you up." says Mrs Hastings.
"Thanks, mom." says Spencer.
"Anytime, girl." says Mrs Hastings.
Mrs Hastings give Spencer some cherry ice cream and tea.
"Yum, yum." says a happy Spencer as she eat ice cream and drink tea while watching TV.
4 hours later.
Aria feed her kitten.
"Lil' kitten, here's some food." says Aria.
The kitten is happy.
"Yay!" says a happy Aria with a sweet smile.
The kitten makes a very adorable sound.
Aria's kitten is very calm and relaxed, never causing any problems.
This makes it easy for Aria to take care of the kitten.
"Your name's Spencer, named after my bestie." says Aria.
The kitten makes a very adorable sound.
"Awww!" says Aria.
15 minutes later.
"Aria, phone for you..." says Ella.
"Okay." says Aria.
Ella hands the phone to Aria.
"Aria here..."
"Hi, girl. This is Spencer, your bestie. I'm coming over."
"Awesome! See ya soon, Spence."
"Yeah."
"Okay. Bye."
"Bye."
Spencer ends the phone call, grab her bag and starts walking to the Montgomery house.
"Hastings, last time you had your little friend, but now you're alone." says Noel as he and his gang suddenly surround Spencer, keeping her from continue walking.
"Please, let me go..." says Spencer.
"Why? Give us your pocket maoney and anything else awesome in your bag." says Noel.
"Never." says Spencer as she tackle down two members of Noel's gang and then run.
"Come back!" scream Noel in anger as he and his gang run after Spencer.
Spencer run into an alley and hide.
Noel and his gang didn't see this so they continue to run past the alley.
Once she is sure that Noel and his gang is gone, Spencer exit the alley and walk to the Montgomery house.
"Okay..." says Spencer.
She finally get to the Montgomery house.
"Noel and his gang tried to attack me again." says Spencer.
"Are you okay?" says Aria, who care so much about Spencer.
"I'm good. This time bad Noel and those other boys didn't manage to hurt me." says Spencer.
"Cool." says Aria.
"yes, Aria." says Spencer.
Spencer and Aria hug each other.
They go to Aria's room.
"Awww." says Spencer when she sees Aria's kitten.
"Spencer, the kitten is awesome, just like you." says Aria.
"That's wonderful." says Spencer.
Flashforward to the night after Spencer sold Sir Goodnight to a random kid:
"Okay. Time to go to bed." says Spencer as she takes off her black t-shirt and black leather tights.
She is now in only violet bra and matching panties.
When she climb into bed she by old habit reach over with her left hand to where she usually would keep Sir Goodnight and gasp when there's nothing there.
For just a few seconds she is worried, but then she remember.
"C'mon, Spencer Hastings, you're a grown woman soon. Forget about that silly old plushie, you sold it to a kid who'll enjoy it." says Spencer to herself in a strict serious tone as if she is scolding herself or something similar.
Spencer goes to sleep and even though she doesn't wanna admit it to herself or anyone else, she miss Sir Goodnight a lot, but she force those feelings away so she can have what she call proper focus.
The next day, when she wake up, Spencer slowly sit up in bed.
She look over at her phone and sees that it's just 06.00, which mean she has plenty of time to get ready for everything she need to do this day.
Spencer get up from her bed and put on a black leather tank top and old baggy jeans.
"No! Stop!" says Spencer to herself as once more the sadness about the fact that she sold Sir Goodnight wash over her soul and heart.
She block out all such emotions and try to be her logical mature typical self.
Usually being that way is easy for her, but today it takes a huge damn load of effort and willpower to be the very essence of Spencer Hastings.
"Sir Goodnight was my favorite childhood toy, but I'm a 16 year old woman, way too old for childish plushies." mumbles Spencer as she walk to the kitchen.
Melissa sit in the kitchen, eating breakfast and at this point in time Melissa and Spencer are no longer friends as they used to as kids.
Melissa ignore Spencer completely.
Spencer grab some breakfast.
She eat, while thinking back to her childhood, when she and Aria would play with Sir Goodnight so much.
"Good morning to you, girls." says Mrs Hastings with a sweet smile as she enter the kitchen.
"Hi, mom." says Spencer.
Melissa pretend that she didn't hear her mom.
"Melissa, did you hear from Professor Picard...?" says Mrs Hastings.
"Who the hell cares?" says Melissa, without even looking up from her breakfast when she answer.
Melissa's voice is also very rude, bitchy and egocentric.
She has clearly very little respect for her own mother.
"You know that Professor Marie Picard only wants to help you." says Mrs Hastings.
"Sure, but she doesn't understand my point of view." says Melissa.
End of the flashforward.
10 days later, summber break starts.
To celebrate this, Aria, Spencer, Alison, Emily and Hanna goes to the ice cream bar.
Once there, they order the summer-special, a special awesome ice cream that's only sold the first week of summer break.
They eat their ice cream by a table in a corner.
"Next week's gonna be sooo much fun 'cause that's when mama's takin' me and Jason to Disneyland." says Alison, all happy and cute.
5 days later.
"Alison, sorry, but we gotta cancel that trip to Disneyland I promised you." says Jessica.
"Why, mom?" says Jessica.
"Money's sort of tight right now. I cannot afford to take you and your brother to Disneyland this summer. Sorry, sweetie." says Jessica.
Alison goes down on her knees and starts to cry.
Jessica try to comfort Alison.
The next day.
"Mom isn't gonna take me to Disneyland..." says Alison.
"She canceled it?" says Aria.
"Yes." says Alison.
4 days later.
Sparia has a sleepover in Spencer's room.
Spencer and Aria are in their cozy jammies.
"Yay." says a happy Spencer.
"Awww." says Aria, being happy as well.
They eat potatoe chips, drink soda and watch cartoons that Spencer downloaded from the internet.
"I love this, hangin' with ya." says Aria.
"Me too. This is sweet times, just you and me, a bowl of chips, a couple bottles of soda and cartoons." says Spencer.
Sir Goodnight sit on Spencer's bed.
The rest of Spencer's plushies are in the box under the bed.
"Cool episode." says Aria.
"Yeah." says Spencer.
Aria and Spencer are talking about the cartoon they're watching.
"Does the chips taste nice?" says Spencer.
"Yup. Very nice." says Aria.
In the Kahn mansion, at the same time, Noel is locked in his room as punishment for being a bad kid.
He is angry because his parents has taken away all his fun.
He is without computer, TV, video games, phone, everything fun he has is not avaliable to him right now.
Sparia is 100 % happy though.
"Uh...Spence, please kiss me." says Aria, all cute.
"Of course, my bestie." says Spencer with a very sweet smile.
Spencer gently kiss Aria.
"Thanks. That was awesome." says Aria.
"I agree." says Spencer.
"So sweet." says Aria.
"Yes." says Spencer.
Spencer kiss Aria again.
Aria clearly love it very much.
"Yay!" says a very happy Aria.
"Indeed, Aria." says Spencer, being very happy too.
They move closer to each so they sit close enough so they are shoulder to shoulder.
"Awww!" says Spencer and Aria in cute joy.
20 minutes later.
"You're awesome." says Spencer.
"Thanks, so are you, girl." says Aria.
"Thanks, Aria." says Spencer.
"Anytime. I'm so glad that you can be my bestie." says Aria.
"I'll always be your bestie. I promise." says Spencer.
"So wonderful and cute." says Aria.
"Yeah." says Spencer.
Aria gives Spencer a kiss.
"Yay!" says a happy Aria.
Spencer is happy as well.
The next day.
Spencer and Aria wake up later than they usually do, but that's okay, since it's not a school-day.
That's why they were up later than they would be on a regular night during the sleepover.
"Last night was awesome." says Spencer.
"Yup." says Aria.
"Awww." says Spencer.
"Cute." says Aria.
Aria and Spencer put their clothes on.
2 hours later.
Spencer and Aria play a game on Spencer's computer.
Sir Goodnight sit on Spencer's bed.
At the same time, Alison is in her room and she has finally accepted that she won't get to go to Disneyland this summer.
Alison play with some of her plushies.
On this day, Alison wear a black tank top and pink baggy sweatpants.
"Is Sir Goodnight happy?" says Aria.
"Yeah, he's a happy plush bear." says Spencer.
Flashforward to 2 weeks after Spencer sold Sir Goodnight to a random kid:
Spencer has finally recovered properly from being without her plushie and is now back to her normal mature serious self.
She does her best with everything she does, such as school, for example.
Of course she also has to deal with all the pain that A bring upon her and Aria, Emily and Hanna.
Being herself again, Spencer no longer even think about Sir Goodnight.
She has almost repressed the very memory of her once so beloved plushie.
It is as if the plushie had never existed.
Unfortunately the kid who bought Sir Goodnight does not take good care of him at all.
He ends up in a box and is very rarely played with.
Fortunately Spencer never finds out what a sad life her plush bear now is forced to face.
End of the flashforward.
"I could never get rid of my awesome plush bear." says Spencer, having no idea that one day in her future she'll sell him to a random kid for a simple low amount of money. Only 22 bucks to be exact.
"Okay." says Aria.
"Yeah." says Spencer.
"Sir Goodnight is smart like you, right?" says Aria.
"He very much is. I've taught him a lot." says Spencer.
"Cool." says Aria.
"Indeed. I have plushie-school for Sir Goodnight once a week, teaching him all he need to know to be the best plush bear he could ever be." says Spencer.
"That's wonderful." says Aria.
"So true, girl." says Spencer.
"Yay. Cutie cute." says Aria.
"I agree." says Spencer.
"Aww, so sweet." says Aria.
3 days later.
In her room, Aria holds plushie-school for Snow Baby and 4 other plushies.
"...so that's how that works. Yeah." says Aria.
"Awesome, cute." is what Aria pretends that Snow Baby says.
"Thank ya, Snow Baby." says Aria.
"Yay! Aria, you're so sweet." is what Aria pretends that Snow Baby says.
"So are you, girl." says Aria.
Aria teach Snow Baby and the other 4 plushies how to read.
2 hours later.
"Yay." says Aria, playing a sweet song on her piano.
The song is 'Green Summer' by Emma Northburg Junior.
"Cute." says a happy Aria with a very sweet smile.
She has good fun.
"Music is awesome." says Aria.
45 minutes later, Aria feed her kitten.
"Here's some food for ya, Spencer." says Aria with a cute smile.
The kitten seem to have learned to react to its name of Spencer by now.
"Awww, you're so cute, just like the girl you're named after." says Aria, thinking about how wonderful Spencer truly is.
The next day at school.
"Yay." says a happy Spencer as she get in line to get her food.
The food today is french fries and sausages.
Once she has her food, she join Aria and Emily by their table.
Hanna and Alison sit with Bridget and her buddies today.
"Aria, wanna go to the Arcadeopedia after school...?" says Spencer.
"Yes, I'd love to." says Aria.
"Cool." says Spencer.
"Can me join too?" says Emily, all cute.
"Sure. Right?" says Aria.
"Yeah." says Spencer.
"Yay." says a happy Emily.
Spencer and Aria are happy too.
"I think we should ask Han and Ali if they wanna come along as well." says Aria.
"Good idea." says Spencer.
"Yup." says Aria.
Spencer walk over to Alison and Hanna.
"Han, Ali, wanna go to the Arcadeopedia after school...?" says Spencer.
"Yeah." says Alison and Hanna.
"Sweet." says Spencer and then walk back to her seat.
3 weeks later.
Noel no longer has a guard following him around at school.
"I wanna hurt Spencer Hastings." thinks Noel.
Spencer, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Alison walk to class together.
"Did you girls study?" says Spencer, since it's History test on this day.
"I did." says Aria.
"Me too." says Emily.
Alison simply smile and nod.
"Me didn't...only tiny bit." says Hanna, who doesn't like school much.
"Okay." says Spencer.
"Hi." says Bridget and her two buddies as they walk up next to Hanna.
"Hi, B." says Hanna.
"Yay!" says Bridget, all childish.
At this age, Bridget hasn't started to be the school's own drunk-girl yet.
"Awww!" says Hanna, all adorable and cutie cute.
"Hi, Bridget. Did you study?" says Spencer.
"I did." says Bridget.
"Good." says Spencer.
"Yay." says Bridget.
"Cool." says Hanna.
"Yup, girls." says Aria.
The next day, after school.
Spencer and Aria hang out in Aria's room.
Aria wear a black t-shirt and normal jeans.
Spencer wear a violet t-shirt and black sweatpants.
Aria's kitten sit on Aria's bed.
Aria and Spencer are happy.
They have fun, playing with plushies and talking.
