Chipmunk Chaos

Chapter 1

The moment Dave Seville woke up late he began screaming "we're late!"

Alvin immediately woke up and saw the clock on the wall. He yelled back "that's because someone didn't set the alarm clock last night."

Dave snarled back "it's not my fault someone blew up the alarm clock."

They all rushed through breakfast and each of them had five minute showers.

Later that day in school the chipmunks found out their teacher was in the hospital with cancer.

When the substitute walked in and announced this along with his name all the kids in class got chills up their spines.

When Theodore was asked to come up to the board and do a math problem that was from the homework he ended up dropping the chalk on the floor.

The substitute yelled "what's wrong with you? Why can't you hold on to one piece of chalk?"

To say the least none of the kids liked the substitute teacher.

When it was finally lunch time Theodore was so happy. He loved to eat and he had been in no mood to do school work that day after waking up late.

Theodore hated waking up late because it was stressful. While Alvin hated waking up late because he hated Dave rushing him for Theodore it was just enough to ruin his whole day.

After he was done eating and went to wash up in the restroom he wasn't prepared for what happened next.

Two mean school bullies tackled him as he came out the restroom door. Simon and Alvin were walking in the hallway together and both saw the incident at the same time. When it was over with the teachers bad broken up a big fight and Alvin had given one of the bullies a bloody nose.

When Theodore and Simon got back to class they told the substitute teacher they were late because they got into a fight and Alvin was being suspended.

The substitute teacher screamed that their tardiness disrupted his class and then he started screaming about his wife not giving him any the night before.

All the kids laughed except Simon and Theodore.

In the meantime Alvin was stuck sitting in the office and he knew Dave would have to pick him up after work. Dave couldn't get off work early to come pick him up which irritated the principal's secretary.

When the phone rang in the office the principal's secretary answered it and then she said "yes ma'am let me just look in the filing cabinet."

Alvin yelled "don't look in the file cabinet there's a naked picture of your husband in there."

The principal's secretary slammed the phone down and yelled "chipmunks are nothing but chaos."

Later that day when Dave arrived at the school because he had to pick up Alvin he figured he'd give Theodore and Simon a ride home instead of having them take the bus.

Dave told them that normally he'd be mad but he couldn't blame them for fighting back against school bullies.

Alvin responded "well I'm glad you made the right decision not to punish any of us. Now about getting a new alarm clock so we won't wake up late again" Alvin chuckled.

Dave yelled "Alvin!"

Simon shouted "let's hit the road before Dave changes his mind about punishing us for getting suspended from school."

All three decided ran off quickly and then Theodore said "it's time for band practice guys don't you think?"

Alvin replied "why not?"

Theodore stated firmly "let's do Eminem's song Not Afraid and I'll sing it in honor of you guys because you weren't afraid of the school bullies and you didn't care that the school staff was offended."

Alvin yelled "you're right I didn't care that they were offended. They should be used to breaking up fights."

Simon got on the keyboard and Theodore began singing "I'm not afraid to take a stand, come take my hand we'll walk this road together."

A chaotic day ended with a great music rehearsal.
