"Would you look at that." Said Dad as he and his family watch 3 people zip lining.
"Cool," Lana said. They went to visit Niagra Falls for a family trip. They booked at a hotel just a few blocks to where they are and Let's just say it was amazing. Though because they were a lot of them. The Louds were forced to be in 3 separate rooms. Well, expect part that they had to wear a facemask during the pandemic. Lincoln was alright with it. plus he looked cool with it while wearing a hat and a sunglasses which he wore. Though it was getting dark so he didn't need to wear it.
They watch the 3 men gliding down 670 meters down to a small place where they land. They heard a scream of excitement. Turning around and say a little black girl jumping up and down and calling out 'daddy' And they smiled at her.
Dad looked at the zip line building we're the 3 came from. A few people were climbing up and down the stairs of that building. He spotted a blonde teen walking up. She looked a lot familiar. Blue dress white sunglasses- "LENI"
Leni walked dumbfoundedly to the stairs where the zipline was and her parents quickly stopped her before she goes even further.
They continue to walk the sidewalk and get a good view of the falls. All of the loud families pull out their phones and took pictures. Lisa discusses to Luan about how smoke was coming out of the falls.
While Lincoln was taking a picture, he felt a sting of dread that at any moment he would accidentally drop his phone in the water and never get it back. And even if he did somehow it would not work. He imagined accidentally slip the device and fall right down. He put it back to his pocket and walked away slowly but still close enough with his family.
After they were done, they went off to where they came from. Lincoln found a facemask Lying around.
"Hey look someone probably dropped their mask." He said pointing at the cloth.
"Don't pick it up." Said Lisa. "It might have a bacterial infection."
As they venture off. Lori was typing her phone. Luna humming some music. Lucy staying silent as usual if you listen carefully, you can hear her talking silently, probably about poetry The twins arguing about stuff. Luan making jokes about an airplane passing by. The parents covering with each other; Mom holding Lily who was asleep. Leni looked up and saw what she assumed are 'fireflies' roaming around the sky. She points directly at them.
"Guy look! fireflies!" She said.
"That's not fireflies honey." Said, Mom.
"Their not?"
"Their too superficial to be fireflies." Said Lisa.
"It's the light projector I was talking to you guys about." Said Dad and pointed at the falls that were now glowing and back at the projector emanating light.
"Now that's awesome." Said Lynn.
"I don't know I kinda expected there be light behind the waterfalls." Said Leni.
While Lincoln was walking a large flying insect. Possibly from the 'firefly' swarm, Leni was referring to. Came to his face and quickly grabbed it and throws it somewhere. Lincoln was lucky he was wearing a facemask otherwise that bug would have gotten into his mouth tug.
Lynn being the competitive girl that she is walked as fast as her body can desire. Her family was trailing behind.
"Lynn, you going too fast slow down please?" Said, Mom.
"Ok," Lynn said as she slows her walking.
Barely.
They crossed the street and into a nearby park. While there Lincoln spotted two teens walking. It didn't seem that strange at first but one of them; a girl. Looked like she was wearing a bikini. "Huh?" he spoke quietly. The clouds crossed to the other side and Lincoln continue to stare at the woman before turning away so as not to look like he was watching her. Though he kinda did. It's just weird seeing something like that. He thought of a similar thing that happened in the mall when he passes a girl who's pants are so small it almost looked like she wasn't wearing pants at all. Is that what girls are wearing today? He was sure neither Lori and Leni wore something like that.
They went to the carnival but they didn't bother riding one. As they were too tired of going. The parents however still wanted to go somewhere so they tell the siblings they can go back to the hotel Mom giving Lori the card. It wasn't far as it was a mere 5-minute walk.
So there, the journey begins. They pass several people along the way. A little girl blonde hair and soft pink dress putting her arms up for a hug.
"Guys I think that girl wants a hug." Said Leni.
"Actually." Lynn pointed out.
"Rose-Marie." The girl said. Another more younger girl was running towards her but stopped and made a slight giggle.
They reach another section where they passed. A woman with twins no younger than Lana and Lola, who wore a navy blue hat and white and blue sailor suit. A group of ladies who looked fancy very fancy Lincoln couldn't help but smirk a little hehe. Three women with glasses who looked more normal. Lincoln continued to smirk. Luna saw him "Perv." She muttered. They stopped to wait for a car to pass, Luan wasn't looking and almost jaywalked if Lucy didn't pull her just as the car sped up.
"I almost walk into that one huh? hahaha, get it?" Luan said followed by a serious of groans. The traffic light turns to a walking symbol and they went off making sure to be in a circle and not be close to other civilians, who were wearing a mask. You gotta stay safe Lincoln thought.
They passed a cloth shop and there they encounter a little girl wearing white with cherry dotted dress speaking to a man wearing a black tuxedo white polo sleeves and a too hat. Leni thought he's outfit looks ok but needed some slight improvement. Lucy thought he would be great for a funeral ceremony. Lincoln heard the little girl calling him dad.
"Huh, so he works there? What kind of store would make you wear those suits?" He asked himself. The man wasn't the only one as another guy stepped out of the store wearing the same suit though he looked a bit fatter and a dirt blonde facial hair. They passed an outback steak house restaurant that was close. All of them remembered getting banned in that place, or was it the outback restaurant? they couldn't tell. They stopped near a hotel called 'courtyard'. Not there hotel as there's were bigger and red and pink coloured. They crossed the street just as a slightly overweight redneck carrying a child. They passed two teenage couples, one was drinking what Luna assumes (She was the only one who noticed them, the rest ignored) was alcohol. Luna couldn't wait to get one once she is 18 to actually drink one without getting caught. The twins saw them not knowing what alcohol is just assumed it was coke.
Finally, they made there way back.
"Alright, everyone's got there mask on?" Said Lori.
"Yep"
"Yes"
"Totally"
"Affirmative"
"Yes.."
"Poopoo"
"Well let's go." Said Lori and went to the elevator. Leni was about to press the button but Lisa stops her.
"Don't touch it." The 4-year old said. And used a pen to press it. They wait for a while for it to open and soon it did and went inside. Using his elbows Lincoln pressed the number 9 and the door closed. They continue to talk in the elevator until they reach there destination.
"Well that was fun," Lincoln said.
They walk to each of their rooms. The first room was Lori and most of the older siblings reside. The second we're Luna and the some of the younger siblings reside and the third we're the parents, Lincoln and Lily reside. He grabs Lily from Luna uses the card to open the door and went inside. There he puts Lily to the bed Mom and Dad sleep in takes his shoes off and went to his bed.
"What a day huh Lil?" He said turning his head to the infant who replied by laughing. "Yep." Lincoln grabs the remote to watch some tv.
