The Meeting
During the following week, Isaac went through his regular routines but was bothered still by the arranged marriage. Before he knew it, the day of the meeting had arrived.
"Prince Isaac," said a maid who had entered his room to wake him, "It's time to wake up."
Isaac then woke up and then remembered what would happen today which made him upset.
After getting dressed and combing his blond hair, he went down for breakfast knowing it was that usual time.
"Isaac," said Zelda once Isaac had arrived in the dining hall, "It's good that you are here now." "It's time we discussed about our meeting today with the noble family."
"Okay," said Isaac who had already started eating slowly.
"They will be here in about four hours," explained Zelda, "We will meet with them in the throne room."
"We plan to have them over for lunch as well," added Link who was also there, "After that, we intend to have the noble family's daughter stay here with us until it's officially decided that you two will wed."
"Wait what," asked Isaac, "She's staying here, why?"
"It's so you two will get to know each other until it's time," answered Zelda.
After that discussion, the royal family finished breakfast and then started to await the arrival of the noble family.
Later in the throne room, Zelda and Link had a little discussion with Isaac.
"Isaac please remember to be nice to our visitors okay," said Zelda.
"And after this, please spend some time with their daughter," added Link.
"I understand," said Isaac who was wanting to get it over with.
The doors to the throne room then opened and the noble family entered.
"It is great to meet you," said Zelda starting the conversation, "I'm Queen Zelda of Hyrule." "You must be Lady Moriko and Sir Pallaton."
"Indeed that is us Your Majesty, "replied Moriko who then put her hand on the shoulder of a young girl with short black hair, "And this is our daughter, Sylvia."
"Hi," greeted Sylvia who sounded nervous.
"I see," said Zelda, "This is my husband Link and our son Isaac."
"Pleased to meet you all," said Link.
"Hello," said Isaac with some secret discomfort.
After introductions, the two families discussed all kinds of things such as unique things about their kingdoms and similarities between them. After that, it was time for lunch so everyone went to the dining hall and were served some food.
"The food is delicious," commented Pallaton after a short while of eating, "I'm sure Sylvia will get used to it quickly."
"I guess so," responded Sylvia who ate slowly.
"It pleases me that you all like it," replied Zelda, "Our cooks worked hard to prepare it for you." "They were a little nervous about it knowing that Forauner food is much different from Hyrule food." "I'll tell them later of what you thought of it."
"Isaac," said Link to Isaac, "Once we finish lunch how about you give Sylvia a tour of the castle?" "It's a good start for you two to get to know each other."
"Alright," answered Isaac, "I'll give her a tour."
After lunch was finished, the parents continued to converse while Isaac did what he was told and started to give Sylvia a tour.
