Becoming a Couple

Two days had passed since the kidnapping. That morning, Isaac woke up in his infirmary bed and noticed he was feeling much better.

"Oh Prince Isaac," said a nurse who noticed he was awake, "I was just about to wake you." "It seems your wounds have completely healed." "You're free to go now."

"Where's Sylvia," asked Isaac noticing Sylvia was gone.

"She woke up a short while ago with her wounds also gone," explained the nurse, "She's in the garden now."

"In that case, I better head there myself," said Isaac and he got off the bed, got dressed and went for the garden.

When he got to the garden, Isaac saw Sylvia sitting while looking at a Silent Princess until she noticed him.

"Isaac, you're awake," said Sylvia as she got up, "The nurse told me we were both better but it's still a relief."

"Yeah I know," said Isaac, "It's still surprising that the Yiga Clan would capture us like that." "To be honest, I was worried for both of us when we fought them."

"I know what you mean," responded Sylvia, "I didn't really think we had enough training yet."

"Listen Sylvia," said Isaac, "Do you want to go into town later." After that event, I think we might need to do that."

"Wait a second," said Sylvia, "Usually your parents make us spend time together." "Why would you want this on your own this time?"

"Well," explained Isaac, "Let's just say I felt something when I noticed you in danger." "If you don't want to, it's fine."

"I didn't say I didn't want to," said Sylvia, "I was just surprised." "I think it would be nice."

"Okay then," said Isaac, "First, let's get permission from my mother for this."

After their decision, Isaac and Sylvia went to see Zelda who was in the dining hall with Link having breakfast.

"Isaac, Sylvia," said Zelda when she noticed them, "I was already informed that you both recovered and told the cooks to prepare your breakfast." "Please sit down."

Isaac and Sylvia sat down and were then served some breakfast.

"Mother," started Isaac as he was eating, "Would it be alright if Sylvia and I went into town after breakfast?"

"I see you're starting to have your own plans with Sylvia," said Zelda proudly, "I will allow it." "However, after what happened recently, Paya will be coming with you in case of danger."

"We understand," said Isaac, "Thank you for your permission."

"Just be back before dark," said Link.

After breakfast, Isaac and Sylvia got ready to go into town. At the entrance, they were greeted by Paya.

"I heard that you made this decision on your own," said Paya to Isaac and Sylvia, "The queen has given me a wallet full of enough rupees for you to use today."

"That was nice of her," said Sylvia.

"Indeed," said Isaac, "Now we should go now."

In Castle Town, Isaac and Sylvia first decided to go to the area that had games and decided to try target shooting. They paid for three games and ended up with Isaac winning two games while Sylvia won one.

After that, they went to check out a treasure chest game to see what they could win from it. They were both given a chance to each open one treasure chest and keep a mask that was in it. From this game, Isaac won a Bokoblin mask while Sylvia won a Fairy mask.

"Those two games sure were fun," said Sylvia carrying her new mask as she and Isaac walked out of the game area.

"I agree," agreed Isaac while carrying his mask, "I used to play many games here when I was younger." "It actually feels good to do it again." "You know, I'm getting a little hungry, why not get lunch at this restaurant that I know of?"

"Sure, that would be great," answered Sylvia."

"In that case," said Paya who was following them, "I'll hold on to your masks and wait outside while I eat a lunch that I brought."

At the restaurant, Isaac and Sylvia ordered some food and talked while they ate.

"I don't want to offend the castle's cooks, but this food might be better than their cooking," said Sylvia.

"That is actually something I think when I come here," admitted Isaac.

After they paid the bill and left, Sylvia noticed the jewelry shop from before.

"Isaac," asked Sylvia, "Do you think it would be alright if I went in there to see what they have?"

"Just don't purchase anything that expensive," answered Isaac.

Sylvia then went in and bought a bracelet that had a ruby, a sapphire, and a topaz.

"That looks nice on you Sylvia," complimented Isaac once Sylvia came out and showed him the bracelet.

"Thank you," thanked Sylvia who blushed.

"I think that's enough time here," said Paya, "We don't want to keep everyone waiting too long."

After Paya's suggestion, the three of them returned to the castle.

"That was fun," admitted Sylvia once they were in the castle."

"It actually was," said Isaac, "By the way, maybe if this works out well, maybe we should be a couple after all."

"You know what," said Sylvia, "I was thinking the same thing." "We should do things like this more often."

The new couple then went to their individual rooms while Paya went to Zelda to tell her of how it went.

"So they've decided to be a couple," said Zelda once Paya informed her, "I admit that I was concerned for how this would turn out after the kidnapping but it seems that things might look up after all."
