"Hmm, that's weird everything seems to be frozen in place, except for us," Rae spoke, staring amusingly at an Ursa that was about to lunge at her.
"What do you mean?" Kent asked as he approached the crimson-eyed panda.
The pair, mostly Kent, had been resting at the same boulder the brunette had found his panda friend, Rae. While they were resting, it seemed that a pack of Grimm had found them, all of them preparing to feast on the two students. Suddenly, as Rae was about to block an incoming attack from an Ursa, it had mysteriously stayed frozen in the air. Though, it wasn't only the Grimm, but also everything in their surroundings. This anomaly then made the latter completely left stunned and confused about the current situation.
"Exactly what I said, everything's frozen!" The white and black-haired replied exclaiming her findings, pointing at the frozen Ursa in front of her as evidence.
"Huh, well that's weird"
"Ya think!?"
"Calm down, Rae. I'm sure everything will be back to normal soon-" Kent was then interrupted by the sudden appearance of a piece of paper in his hand that seemed to appear out of thin air. "...Okay, something is definitely going on here."
"I think... I'm gonna pass out." Rae spoke as she grabbed her head, who was clearly getting overwhelmed of what was happening.
"Wait, there's a note here Rae." Kent pointed out as he began reading the paper that was in his hand.

Hey y'all, short update here; sorry for the delay with the next chapter. Unfortunately, my midterm exams are coming up and the school's been dropping a whole load of stuff to do, making it hard for me to find time in writing, so it'll be a while until things calm down again. I don't know when I'll back for sure, but do expect at least 2-3 chapters at the same time, once I come back.
So, once again sorry for the delay and I hope you still continue to look forward to reading my work. I'll make sure that the next chapters would be good, with the initiation nearing its end and the upcoming start of school in Beacon, for the gang, all coming up soon!
"What does it say?"
"...I'm not sure... but-"
As the brunette finished reading the letter, it slowly disintegrated with their surroundings slowly moving again, "-I think everything's fine now"
Kent then smirked, grabbing his weapon as he prepared to engage in combat with the incoming Grimm. He quickly rushed towards them, attacking fiercely, slaughtering Grimm left and right.
Rae on the other hand, still confused let out a deep sigh before slicing the earlier Ursa straight down the middle as he joined Kent on his rampage, smirking as she dashed towards Kent. "If you say so"
