Rey awoke back in the familiar hut she had stayed in before. Her head ached and her stomach rumbled. A nearby Lanai noted her consciousness and began to speak to her. "I'm sorry, I don't understand. Can you please help me get back to my ship" Rey asked as she attempted to sit up and swing her legs over the side of the small cot.

The Lanai waved her hands at Rey and exited the hut. Alone, Rey tried to stand but her legs gave out almost immediately. Steadying herself back on the edge of the bed she sighed in defeat as the alien returned with what appeared to be a bowl of some kind of soup. Rey took it and tried to offer her thanks, which the woman waved off and tucked her feet back into the blankets.

Rey took a sip of the soup and felt the life start to run through her veins again. She was uncertain of what kind of ingredients may have been put in it, and vaguely remembered a few of the different things she had seen when she had stayed here before with Luke, but she trusted the Lanai caretakers. They had been on this island tending to the Jedi for longer than anyone knew, and even though she was unable to understand them, she knew they were probably much wiser than they seemed.

Her soup bowl was drained and filled several times before Rey finally began to feel whole again. She offered her sincerest thanks to the Lanai that had doted on her for the day before she began to make her way back to where she had left the Falcon. Unsurprisingly, the ship was covered in Porgs and Rey regretfully took the nests that had been made in the crevices and placed them as best she could in the nearby cliff sides.

She gave a final pat to the Porg in her arms and opened the ship hatch. This is where things were going to be complicated. Rey turned the computer on and readied the ship for takeoff. "First thing's first, I better call Finn and see how long it's been." She thought as she got the long range comms system running.

"This is R3Y-021 requesting a secure channel with command." she said into the comm once she switched to the Rebel frequency. "We read you R3Y-021, securing the channel. Please switch to Alpha-6725 frequency." The comm officer responded. Rey switched over and waited, praying Finn wouldn't chew her out for however much time had passed since she had gotten here.

"REY!?" she winced when she heard the panic in his voice. Not uncommon for Finn, but she felt guilty for worrying him in the first place. "Where the hell are you? I haven't heard from you in days! Are you okay?" he hurled the questions at her.

"I'm sorry Finn, I didn't mean to make you worry. I'm just fine. I'm afraid I've been.. Err.. out for a while." she finished slowly anticipating the fiery reaction she knew was coming. The comm blew up with a slur of curse words in more than a few languages. "This is exactly why I should have come with you." he finished with a huff.

Rey smiled "I'm fine Finn. I still firmly believe this is the best choice. But I do need a little assistance." she admitted. "I need the coordinates to Ronu II. Can you find them and send them to me? Discreetly?" she added for good measure. The last thing she needed the Resistance to know was that she was heading to a Sith world after claiming to have left on a Jedi mission of enlightenment.

She heard him sigh through the comm. "Of course. I'll get it to you as soon as I can. Please let me you're going to be more careful, and check back in more often? You've got everyone around here worried for you." he said in a low voice and Rey could feel the tugging of his emotions through the Force. "Of course Finn, trust me, it's not my intention to keep going dark like this. Thank you for understanding." she said sweetly.

"Yeah. Going dark." she heard him mutter and knew he took an entirely different meaning than she intended. "I'll send them as soon as I have them." he paused. "Be careful Rey." he warned again quietly. She breathed deeply before responding. "May the Force be with you." she said and cut the comms. Even if- "When." she reminded herself, she brings Ben back, they were going to have a hell of a time convincing the galaxy to understand the new era of the Force they were supposed to usher in, let alone fully convincing her friends back in Resistance Command to trust the former leader of the First Order.

"Kriff!" she spat before getting back up to ready the ship. This was going to be a lot harder than she thought.
