"Hey."

"I can't see anything unusual about the cat. I'm gonna go to the library and do some research. You should probably carry on looking in case I missed something." Dean nodded and did what Sam told him to. Why I am following his orders? He's not the boss of me. I'm older than him. Yet, he did it anyway.

Sam sat at the edge of a large desk with a huge pile of books next to him. He loved research, mainly because reading made him feel slightly normal, even though the books were definitely not normal. Sam scanned the books on anything that had golden eyes, but after going through so many books, he gave up and tried his computer.

After around half an hour, Dean arrived at the library and sat opposite Sam, placing the duffle bag on the chair next to him. "You find anything?"

"Hello to you too, Dean." Sam answered with a slight tone of anger. "No. You?"

"I got nothing. I stopped at the other crime scenes on the way here. Nothing. No EMF, no sulphur, no hex bags."

"So then what?" Sam was confused. What could have done this?

"No idea. I'm gonna head back to the motel and look into it more tomorrow. I plan on getting that 5 hours of sleep tonight." Dean picked up the duffle bag and walked out the door, leaving his brother to do research alone. Sam did not mind though. He actually liked the peace and quiet.

It was nearly two in the morning and Sam was barely awake, reading up on anything that had golden eyes, but so far, none of them left the victims alive. He was exhausted, so he decided to head back to the motel.

By the time he got back, Dean was asleep, snoring. Sam came in as quietly as possible trying not to wake his lazy brother up. Dean deserved a good night's sleep after coming back from Purgatory. When he was with Amelia, he had almost 8 hours of shut eye every night, and for a hunter, which is like a normal person, with normal lives, getting 20 hours of sleep.

When Sam woke up the next day, he went into the bathroom and when he looked into the mirror, he was shocked at the horrible sight.

"DEEEEEEAN!" Sam shouted like he was so mad that, if it were possible, smoke would be coming out of his ears.

"Sam?! Sammy, what happened?" Dean shot up out of bed and ran straight to the bathroom and kicked down the door. "Oh. My. God!" Dean was so surprised at what he had found.

Sam just kneeled on the floor with his hands covering his head, whimpering like a family member had just died.

"Your… your princess hair, it's… it's all gone!" Dean fell onto the floor laughing harder than he ever had, but stopped when Sam shot him an angry glare. "Whoever is doing these attacks must have done it to you!"

Dean tried his hardest to hold back his laughter, but he couldn't. It was too funny. "Wait a minute… Your worst nightmare is losing all of your hair? Seriously?! What a girl!"

"Don't you laugh, Dean. If they did this to me, then they will do something to you too." Sam suggested pointing at his older brother. "Maybe smash up your car."

Dean frowned at this statement, "If they touch her, I will murder them."

"Okay…"

"First there will be torture. Maybe I'll use needles. I have to give credit to the monster. Needles sound painful."

"What?" Sam asked confused. "Ohh. Would you start the apocalypse to save your car?"

"Probably."

"Ugh." Sam rolled his eyes. "Go buy me a hat. I can't go out like this."

As soon as he said this, Dean ran off with a smirk on his face.

Dean entered the store down the road to the motel and bought Sam a neon yellow cap. When he walked through the aisles, he saw a bottle of conditioner on the shelf. Dean smirked then picked it up off the shelf. After paying for the things, he went back to the motel.

"Saaaam, I'm home." Dean sang as he entered their room.

Sam walked out of the bathroom covering his head with his hands.

"Here." Dean tossed Sam the cap and he rolled his eyes but put it on anyway.

"Oh, I err, got you some conditioner as well. Oh wait… you don't need it anymore! Silly me."

Now Sam was more annoyed than ever before. He couldn't wait to see what would happen to Dean. "I am going to kill you!"

"No, you won't."

"Then I'll destroy the Impala."

"I'd hate that, believe me, but I can rebuild her." Sam scoffed in response to this and chucked the bottle of the conditioner on to the shelf.

"Come on. We need to finish the case." At that, the two brothers left their room and headed back to the library.
