"Yes! This will work!" Sam shouted, getting a lot of "shushes" from the people around him.
"What did you find?" Dean asked curiously. Unlike most hunts, Dean was very eager to kill the monster. He really didn't want to find out what the monster would do to him.
"It's a spell – to restore hair that was lost from supernatural causes."
"Seriously?! That's what you've been doing for this entire time? Trying to get back your Barbie hair?"
Sam just ignored him and continued to tell Dean about the spell. "It's pretty basic ingredients. Sage, meadowsweet, chamomile and a piece of my hair. We have all that in the trunk and I can get the hair from my hairbrush."
Dean chuckled slightly when Sam said that he had a hairbrush, even though he was not surprised.
Sam mixed in all the ingredients and said the Latin, "Et capillus capitis mei qui olim restituet. Restituere. Restituere!" There was a blue glow above Sam's head and when it dimmed, it revealed his long hair.
"Good. Now that I've got my hair back, let's go eat. I'm starving."
Sam and Dean ate at a diner about half a mile away from the motel. They ordered their usual – a salad for Sam and a bacon cheeseburger for Dean.
"What is it with you and healthy eating?" mocked Dean.
"What is it with you and meat?"
"Hey, at least meat is nice. Unlike your disgusting rabbit food."
When their food arrived, they began to eat. Everything was normal at first, but after a few minutes, Dean's tongue began to swell up.
"Erm… Sam, something's wrong."
Sam started to laugh because he had an idea about what was happening.
"What?" Dean mumbled.
"I think you're allergic to meat now." Sam chuckled again.
"What?! Nooo!"
"Don't worry I'll order you a salad."
"It's fine, I'll have a pie."
"Dude, your food choices are terrible. You're literally having a pie for lunch." Sam sighed. "Take it to go. We need to carry on researching. Come on."
Sam and Dean sat in their motel room for almost 2 hours doing "research" and they were saved by Jody's call.
Sam picked up the phone. "Hey Jody! What's up?"
"There's been another attack. Sam, tell Dean to meet me at the hospital and you can go to the crime scene. I'm texting you the address now."
"Ok, thanks. Bye."
Sam hung up the phone and looked at the text message – 29 NORTHERN ROAD –while telling Dean what was going on.
"Dean, there's been another attack. Jody said for you to meet her at the hospital. I'm going to the crime scene."
Sam held up his fake ID to the officers and they let him into the house. He did his usual checks: EMF, sulphur and hex bags. Nothing. Just like the others.
"What did this?" Sam thought as he continued to search the house.
After looking everywhere, he took a break and sat on the couch. It was uncomfortable though, as if something was poking him. Sam stood up and searched the couch and found a lollipop stick wedged between the 2 large cushions.
"Oh no," he sighed. Sam had an idea about who had been causing the attacks. "Great!" he thought sarcastically.
Sam left the house and headed to the hospital to meet Dean.
(Meanwhile)
"Agent Jones. FBI," Dean said while holding up his ID to the victim. He looked about 13 years old, had black hair and blue eyes, reminding Dean of Cas. Every time he saw someone with black hair and blue eyes, he would feel more and more guilty.
"Tell me about the attack."
"I was at home. On my own. In my room. The room started to get cold and when I went into my closet, something jumped out and attacked me."
"What did it look like? Its teeth? Its eyes? Maybe claws?"
"It looked almost like a man but not. Its eyes were gold, I think, but it had normal teeth. It had claws. That's what it used to attack me. It was probably just some psycho with some sort of crazy costume."
"Ok. Thanks."
Sam arrived at the hospital just as Dean was leaving.
"Dean!" Sam shouted as he ran up to him.
Dean stopped walking and turned around to face his brother. "What did you find?"
"I know who it is." Sam pulled the lollipop stick in the plastic wallet out of his pocket.
"Oh no." Dean huffed.
