Benny woke up dazed and confused, not knowing where he was or what had happened. The room was dark and he could not hear a thing. This was unusual since as a vampire, Benny had excellent hearing. He looked around the room then climbed out of the small, wooden bed.
"Where am I? Where's Castiel? What the hell was that black portal?"Benny thought. He reached for the door handle but before he could turn it, someone else entered the room.
"Ah, you're awake!" Gabriel said cheerfully, handing the vampire a cup of water that he just materialised out of thin air.
"Who are you? And how did you do that?" Benny asked angrily, showing the man his fangs.
"Oh please…" Gabriel scoffed, flicking his hand. "That doesn't scare me. The names' Gabriel and you're Benny, friend of Dean Winchester and my little bro."
"Where am I?" he asked, then paused for a few seconds. "Wait… did you say 'little bro'? The only people who are my friends are Sam, Dean and Castiel."
"Castiel is my brother," Gabriel replied as if he expected Benny to have known that Cas was his brother.
"You're an angel."
"Archangel to be exact."
"The one from the Bible? You're the one who went to see Mary?" Benny was amazed at who he was.
"The one and only," Gabriel replied. Suddenly, he looked up. "I didn't know that vampires read the Bible?!"
"I was human once you know."
"Right, of course. C'mon, there's people who want to see you." Gabriel said as he walked out the door with Benny following not far behind.
Sam and Dean sat around one of the large desks in the library while Cas was sleeping on the chair opposite them. The two brothers stared at Cas until his eyes began to open.
"Cas? Cas?" Dean said trying to shake him awake. "C'mon buddy. Wake up."
"D-Dean?" Cas looked up. He turned his head slightly to look at Sam. "S-Sam? Where am I?"
"We got you home Cas. We're in the bunker."
"How? Wait… is Benny here? He fell through the black portal as well."
"Hey guys!" Gabriel walked into the library with Benny by his side. Dean got up and gave Benny a hug.
"I'm glad you came back, man!" Dean said gratefully. "I never got to thank you for helping me come back the first time."
"Brother? How? You're dead!" Cas looked at Gabriel confused.
"Oh, that... Yeah… long story short, it was an illusion."
"What were you doing all this time?! We needed your help!" Cas' tone was a lot angrier this time.
"Oh, I was with my Norse brothers."
"The world was literally ending and you were with your brothers, who aren't actually your brothers?! You're unbelievable," Castiel scoffed and turned away, disappointed in his brother.
"You're welcome for bringing you back!" Gabriel shouted to Cas but he just carried on walking.
"So… how've you been?" Dean asked Benny politely.
"Same as always. Try not to get killed by Dick and his minions."
"Sounds fun." There was an awkward silence for a few minutes until Sam walked into the room.
"Guys, we've got a problem."
