Phineas and Ferb
Baby Adventures of Phineas
Chapter 13: The Booth
Disclaimer: Phineas and Ferb does not belong to me. It belongs to Dan Povenmire and Jeff Swampy Marsh, who have done an amazing job with this show the past 8+ years.
Phineas was playing with his toys in his room, without so much as a care in the world when his sister came into the room. "Hi Phineas!" She said happily.
"Hi Candy!" He waved rapidly at her and giggled. She picked him up off the floor.
"I wanna show you something." She said as she carried him out of the room. She took him out to the front yard where there was a booth set up. "See? It's a booth. We're part of Danville's annual "House Booth Tour" where each house in the neighborhood sets up a different booth and raises money for charity."
And Phineas laughed loudly, with absolutely no idea what she was talking about.
"But I'm having trouble deciding what I want to do for the booth. Should I set up a game or something?" Phineas babbled incoherently, as his mind started racing for ideas. Candace laughed. "Oh Phineas, if only it were simple, and I could use you as an attraction or something." She placed him on top of the booth and placed a giant glass jar next to him. "Can you stay here and guard this jar while I go inside and get mom?" He clapped rapidly and giggled. "OK, you little cutie. I'll be back."
Candace went inside, leaving Phineas alone with the jar and his thoughts. As Phineas was getting comfortable, a young woman walking by noticed the booth and walked over, in obvious preparation for the tour. "Hi lady!" Phineas shouted happily while waving his arm rapidly. The lady beamed at the baby's cuteness.
"Aw, well aren't you a sweetie?" She said in baby-talk, getting a laugh from the boy.
"Thank you lady!" He giggled again.
"I could just kiss you!" She said as she started leaning towards him. But Phineas, vaguely and barely remembering Candace mentioning money and stepped back.
"Wait!" He shouted, directing her attention to the jar. "Monies! I need monies!"
"What?"
"Candy said that we gotta get monies for things with this thing and...and I need monies!" He tried explaining to her; as intelligent as he was at his age, he still struggled with words. However, smitten by Phineas's cuteness, the woman pulled out a dollar bill and placed it in the jar. She then picked up Phineas and proceeded to kiss him with the baby laughing loudly.
Candace and Linda came out of the house. "Excuse me!" Linda shouted. "Put my son down!"
"Mommy wait!" Phineas shouted, waving his arms around. "The lady...she gived me monies!"
Candace checked out the jar and saw the dollar bill in the jar. "Hey, there is a dollar in here."
"Yes! This nice lady...she gave me monies when I telled her that we needed monies for something."
"But we haven't decided what the booth was going to be." Linda explained.
"Actually Mom, I think we have the perfect idea for our booth now..." Candace said, giggling a little, which led to Phineas giggling loudly even though he had no idea what was going on.
So they set up the booth to be none other than...a kissing booth. And Phineas was the main attraction. Despite Linda's objections, Candace thought it was the best idea for attracting the most customers. And she was right. Phineas was a huge hit. With his adorable, bubbly face to his infectious giggle to his shining smile, Phineas was the envy of everyone in the neighborhood.
Pretty much everyone in the neighborhood brought their kids along for the ride, and the money came rolling in. By the end of the line, Phineas got so many hugs and kisses from people he couldn't stop himself from laughing and giggling the entire time. And the more Phineas laughed, the more infectious he became.
Eventually the line dispersed and Phineas's face was covered in lipstick. The boy couldn't stop giggling. As Candace and Linda were about to close up shop, Phineas noticed something across the street.
"IZZY!" Phineas shouted as he leaped to his feet and started jumping up and down excitedly. Vivian and Isabella were across the street heading into their home when Isabella heard Phineas's squealing cheers, turned around, and saw him jumping around. She immediately got excited and pointed at him.
"Mommy!" Isabella yelled, tugging at her mother's pant leg. "Phinny! I wanna see Phinny!"
Vivian turned and saw Phineas excitedly jumping. Without saying a word, she smiled, picked up her daughter, and walked across the street. "Hello Linda! What's all this?"
"Oh it's just for a fundraising. Candace set up a kissing booth for Phineas and everyone on the block seemed to be drawn to it."
"Yes! They gived us monies! And then…and then I got happy feelings!" Phineas shouted, staring at Isabella and laughing. Isabella laughed right along as she tugged on her mother's shirt. "Izzy, do you want to give monies?"
"Mommy!" Isabella turned to her mother. "Can I give Phinny kisses?" She said while blushing and laughing. Vivian chuckled and picked out a dollar from her pocket, handing it over to Linda and setting Isabella down on the table. Isabella immediately ran up to Phineas and they hugged. Then she started to smother him with kisses as he proceeded to laugh to his little heart's content. The kissing and laughter didn't stop either.
"Vivian, I think your daughter likes my son." Linda said in a sing-song tone.
"Well who can blame her? He's an angel." Vivian responded as she watched her daughter smother Phineas with affection and Phineas just take it without a fight.

I apologize for this being short and late. Had lots of things.
And please don't ask if I heard the news. I did. And I'm grieving.
