A/N: Yo you all got me back for another round. Dudes it's been too long I know. But a lot has happened. As of now I have one main commission. A one shot commission and all my open stories. I'm trying to update regularly each month. But some months I just need a break to play video games for a while. So dudes if it seems like I'm taking too long. I'm sorry but video games are too good to pass up. But still thanks for understanding that I need me time too. Lets see what's prowling in the night of space.

Mid Rim Ahsoka's POV

Sitting with master Luminara we meditate, as we get closer to our current lead on Jagger. Master Luminara says, "Ahsoka your thoughts betray what you. Your attachment to Jagger isn't the Jedi way. Be mindful as a master on the council I cannot allow you to continue this line of attachment."

I look at her worried more about Jagger then the code right now. I say "Master I made a promise to him and we..." Master Luminara asks, "You bonded with him didn't you? In a way that the other masters wouldn't agree to. But there have been whispers of some who have kept such bonds secret for some time. Even from those seated on the main council. Ahsoka the path Jagger must travel is so twisting. I fear for any who must journey it with him.

"As Jedi we must see that he is safe but we must also be cautious of what we will discover from this. The Sith have made it clear that Jagger is their target. And ghosts of his people wish him to move forward. While he worries of losing his heritage along with his hunger for battle. Such things could cloud his mind and make him do things that would make us question ourselves. Or lead us to that dark side."

I nod to ask "Master you say it is wrong for me to have this bond with him. But what if I get a vision worse that what we have seen so far?"

Master Luminara nods to answer "The force has shown us glimpses at things that can come to pass. Master Yoda has often warned us masters of such visions. But the more we focus on Jagger the more these visions come. Do you think you can guess why?"

I think for a moment to say "Is it because his people were among the few to use the elements in the force? And because they were so unique the force remembers them more?"

Master Luminara nods to say "Remember your confrontation in the force with the air elemental? Master Yoda and a few of us agree that they have left an imprint onto the force due to the locations they visited. Such as Jagger's ancestor connecting and specking through his owl. She is an extremely rare species and Jagger has had here in his company since he was a child.

"This was not by mistake but by design. But by the force or his people we aren't sure. However Jagger's people are warriors who have only fought due to the Old Republic and the many Sith at the time. All wanting them to serve them so that their abilities can be used for and against the other. But when they refused they became targets. And even though long past his people kept secrets we are only discovering now due to him.

"The force works in mysterious ways due to events both past and future. It is up to us in the present to understand and hold the galaxy in balance. For if we don't chaos will take hold and thus no balance can ever be optioned.

"Ahsoka you must find your balance. You see Jagger as something more when you should see him for what he is. You must remember Jagger's abilities rely on his emotional and mental state. When controlled a fire can be warm, kind, welcoming. But when let wild it can be harmful, frightening, and overpowering. That is why the Sith want Jagger. He has the potential to be a living storm of fire. Any world he steps on will become ash. Master Yoda only agreed to train him to help smolder his wild warrior nature.

"As well as our way to see that no species should go extinct if we could not help. But to some degree it is also so we know if Jagger were to have children and how many. Once we know we will be there if things get to out of hand... And do what is need to ensure the Sith do not obtain the power to control fire."

I remain quiet I can't help but worry even more. Jagger is still being seen as a danger. Sure he is a living fireball but why are all the masters condemning his nature to continue his people? Why are they so fearful of him having kids? Are they really so afraid of other fire users existing that they'll become a danger to the galaxy?

What about enemies that still exist today that we're trying to make allies with? Heck we even have agreements with the Hutts. And they've done all kinds of horrible things to both the Republic and their own. Before I could answer commander Bile says "General we approaching the coordinates and coming out of hyperspace."

Master Luminara nods to say "Thank you commander. Come Ahsoka let us hope the vision the female warriors say of this location is true." I nod following master Luminara to the bridge hoping that this will lead us to Jagger. Or better if he was just stranded here.

Officer Lorenz's POV

I exhale seeing all the salvage the crews continue to bring in. The few mercs that are still alive surrendered once the realized they were outgunned. Red mane made examples of the few that tried to fight back. Luckily it seems not all of the mercs living quarters and credit stashes were burned too badly after he attacked their ships. Some of the salvage teams are still pulling in crates of credits and other valuables.

I look over seeing Royce who nods at me. He may have a few bandages but he managed to contact lady Yellit's flagship in time. Royce asks "Did you hear that the Mando Red mane is being honored by our ladies tomorrow?"

I nod to say, "He preformed beyond belief. That armor of his is something else. I kind of doubt I would have made that much of a difference but he still thanked me for my helped. You should have seen him Royce he moved like an unstoppable comet. The Red manned Mando he's a friend to the Waltz. But I wonder how many enemies he just made?"

Royce huffs to say, "It doesn't matter just like he helped us if asked we'll help him. But after a few days they'll be leaving they still have to finish their escort job. Also got word that the Republic and Confederacy are having more battles along the mid Rim. Looks like the Republic might push into the outer Rim soon."

I scoff to say, "They can try but none of our ladies will side with them. We take care of our own and trade with whom we feel like. The Waltz has thrived and survived for generations under our ladies guidance. And the rioters will be dealt with just as we dealt with the Hutts when they tried this before. They think that our ladies are tyrants but now they'll find out what suffering they would have caused. If those mercs gave them those weapons."

Royce says, "You got family on the colony Lorenz?"

I lower my head answering, "Two years ago my fiancé came down with space madness or what they doctors call split mind syndrome... A group of rioters broke into the lab she was working in on colony four. They killed her friends and coworkers saying they we're killing the allies of the tyrants that controlled us.

"It was revealed that they we working on ways to make colonizing and agriwork more plentiful on harsher settlements. And they killed everyone but her. Now she's the only one that has knowledge of the work but she can't think properly. Her mind has gone to the age when she was a teenager. She keeps calling me by the name of her ex.

"I hate pretending to be him but she was happy with him when they were sweethearts... He died during an agriwork accident nine months before she got her degree... I love her so much that I enlisted just so I could cut down as many of these rioters as I could."

Royce puts a hand on my shoulder to say "I get it but remember you can't bring emotions to the battlefield. When you make it personal you get sloppy and you'll likely to either get someone killed. Or get yourself killed."

I nod to say, "I know that's why I didn't look at the names of the rioters that are still at large from the attack. I want the people to know their crimes first and let them pass judgment. And when they do then I won't hold back."

Jagger's POV

Sitting with ladies Bellit and Yellit as well as their soldiers and my fellow warriors. I can see the exchange of stories and drink has everyone in a better mood. Lady Yellit nudges me to say, "Red mane I see your woman has begun flaunting your success even more."

I look at Savan with a sigh she took it upon herself to tell Yellit and Bellit about us being a couple. Yet another trait her people share to propel themselves forward.

Yellit says, "I know her species and can tell this is a political move. One she will use to boost herself claiming she had a good relationship with you. But Red mane are you sure you're ok with this?"

I exhale to say, "Her people have made a lot of deals and they keep very extensive records hidden away. Once I get access to those records and solve a personal matter we will cut ties as we agreed." I take a bite from the odd insect like meat on my plate for lady Yellit to chuckle.

Lady Yellit says "Good to see you know how to use politics to some extent."

I say "I know her people from my family. My family kept me shelter but taught me of war and battle. I was more then ready to face any enemy that came before my family. But my family took it upon themselves to hide me away. It is only recently I've come to discover what's left of them are ghosts long past. The records Savan's people have are all that matters to me now. If she believes she is using me let her think that. But I will remind her that I am no pawn and she will regret lying to me."

Lady Yellit smirks to say "A Mandalorian just like that ones I remember. So many rumors and tales float about your kind Mando. Some horrific some honorable and some filled with misery for all. But I ask you Mando if you find what you seek and the secrets become know to you.

"What will you do when the ghosts of enemies past catch you? What will you do if they break you? Will you fight them until they consume all those you trust and care for? And at the end of it all what will you become?"

Looking into lady Yellit's eyes I can see her pain, her worry, her fear, and her doubt. But it all wrapped with anger that is asking me... What will I do when I know who caused the fall of my people?

Third person's POV

Deep in meditation the leader of CIS exhales deeply as he thinks of the current course of the war. But his holocom begins to blink. Answering Dooku stands for Darth Sidious to tower over. Count Dooku bows to say, "Good evening my master how may I help you?"

Sidious asks, "Has any of your probes located the Sarian prince?"

Count Dooku shakes his head answers, "Not yet my master but I have received reports that a group of force users attacked the Jedi Obi wan."

Sidious nods to say "Yes my sources agree on this matter. The Jedi believe these Sith to be allied to us. But I know you haven't taken on any more Acolytes. And Venturess has no such skill as this barbarian or assassin. The Jedi clones report feeling fear at every war cry the barbarian preformed, clearly he was trained well. I fear we have a small group trying to lay claim to the way of the old Sith. See to it that they are dealt with. WE cannot allow rivals to live when the next phase is so close at hand."

Dooku bows to say "I understand my master I will double my efforts in finding the young prince. And see to it that any more pretenders are dealt with by my Acolytes. Master if I may the prince's skill in fire it has truly unseen for many generations. How is it he can control it?"

Sidious smiles to say "Many secrets are hidden from even the most skilled of us my friend. The Jedi refuse to see the changes of the galaxy as we seek what has been hidden or lost. They rest and become complacent in their cradle of power and knowledge. But we know what really power is my friend."

Dooku nods to say, "As a former Jedi I've seen with eyes open the hypocrisy and damage they have caused. I wish nothing more then to see the galaxy accept the rule of the Sith. And finally see the benefits they can have without the grip of the Republic and their lies."

Sidious nods to say, "Once the young prince is found we must move quickly to collect him. With him currently free to see the galaxy without the Jedi clouding him. He may become a benefit to our victory. We must insure that he does not return to them."

Dooku nods as his master leaves him. Dooku opens a new comm showing his three acolytes all of who bow to him. Dooku says, "I am dispatching you to check on rumors that have surfaced. You are to find the prince of twin sands and return him to me. The Jedi will simply stifle his growth and his true destiny.

"If turned his power could become a great assist to our cause. But be warned the prince is no easy target he is trained to kill. If needed be use your words before your sabers. But if you must incapacitate him do so quickly. Or his control over fire will prove to be too much for you."

The acolytes bow again as both parties end the communication. Dooku sits in his chair reaching deep into the dark side of the force. As it fills him his thoughts linger on the events and his encounter with Jagger.

Dooku thinks 'He did not engage me but the queen of Zygeria escaped with his aid. Odd that Atai did not mention her watching over him. And from what Atai tells me the queen still has great sway over the stronger allies of her rule. And though they are in hiding the slavers are once more fractured.

'But until the queen surfaces we won't be able to deal with them fully just yet. And just as my master told me rivals that are weak are easy to control and use. Those that have allies and recourses can prove problematic. I wonder what kind of advantages the young prince will have once we acquire him?'
