I don't own Buffy or NCIS. I am only borrowing them.

Note: Dawn doesn't exist.

The team was hard at work on a case that was putting their team leader Leroy Jethro Gibbs in a very foul mood. Gibbs came into office area with a ferocious look on his face that said you better have something.

"Kate Report!" He groused.

Tony Dinozzo was getting his papers together to show his Boss when his desk phone rang. He was expecting a call about some info on the case, but he had never expected this.

"Hello?"

"Anthony Dinozzo, my name is Rupert Giles. I don't know if you remember me, I'm a friend of Buffy's."

"I remember you. What's happened?"

"I'm afraid Buffy has gone missing. She was due to check in this morning and we have not heard from her since her check in last week."

"Where was she last seen at?"

"She was in Prague's where she was conducting a visit with a new slayer's family. She contacted the family but never showed up for the initial meeting. That had been set up for three days ago."

"And Willow hasn't been able to track her?"

"No though not for lack of trying. We believe that whoever took Buffy is keeping her hidden by some powerful magics."

"I'll be there just as soon as I can, if you hear anything call me on my cell."

Tony gave him the number before hanging up. As soon as he hung up the phone it rang again.

"DiNozzo that had better be related to the case or you're going to be looking for a new job."

Tony nodded before saying hello. It was the phone call he had been waiting for and it had given them a lead.

Two days later the case was solved, and they arrested Sandra Mason for killing service men. Tony had finished his report and had put it in Gibbs in box and was filling out a leave of absence form. His sister still hadn't been found and he was going to England to help in the search whether the Director and Gibbs liked it or not. Kate and McGee had already left for the day, so he was glad he didn't have to explain it to them.

"Boss, I need some time off. I have a personal matter that I need to take care of and I'm not sure how long I'll be gone."

Gibbs had taken notice the past two days and knew that something was wrong with his agent.

"Does this have anything with that phone call you received two days ago?"

"My sister went missing from Prague. No one has seen her in over a week. I'm going to England where her job is located and join in on the search for her."

"Tony, why didn't you say anything earlier?"

"We were working a case Boss plus their not even sure she's in Prague anymore. I've been getting regular updates from her boss and friends. If they had had any clue of where she was case or no case, I would have left to help find her my job be damned."

DiNozzo finished saying just as his desk phone rang. He went over and answered it seeing that it was the front security desk calling.

"DiNozzo."

"Tony? I need you big brother."

"Buffy? Don't move! I'm on my way down." Tony hung up the phone. "Buffy's in the lobby."

Both Tony and Gibbs hustled through the bullpen and down the stairs. Once at the bottom Tony pushed open the door to the stairwell to see Buffy barely standing there and he knew she wasn't okay.

"I don't feel so good." Buffy spoke.

Before either could move or say anything else Buffy's eyes rolled up into her head and she began to fall. The security guard nearby reached out and caught her before she hit the ground.

"Buffy!" Tony ran over to where the security guard was laying her on the ground.

"Call for an ambulance and tell them to hurry!" Gibbs barked at the guard who responded quickly.

Tony called Buffy's name trying to get her to wake up but having little success. He touched her forehead as he went to brush a piece of hair out of her face.

"She's burning up with fever Boss."

"The ambulance should be here soon." The guard told them.

Buffy began to stir a bit. Tony called her name as he and Gibbs watched her struggle to open her eyes.

"Cold. So cold." Gibbs took off his suit jacket and draped it over her. "Thanks."

They watched as she snuggled into the coat and soon lost consciousness again. They could hear the siren of the ambulance getting closer. Tony took out his cell and hit nine and waited for someone to answer.

"Hello?" The weary voice of Rupert Giles answered.

"Rupert this is Tony. I've found Buffy."

"Where? How?"

"She came to my work in DC."

"How is she?"

"I'm not sure. She's passed out twice and she's running a high fever. The ambulance has just arrived. We should be heading to Bethesda."

"We'll meet you there."

Tony hung up his phone just as the EMT's were lifting the stretcher and rolling her out.

"I'm coming too. That's my sister."

One of the EMT's nodded as they put Buffy in the ambulance. Tony climbed in taking his sister's hand as he sat.

"I'll meet you at the hospital DiNozzo." Tony nodded as the doors were closed.

Tony had only been allowed to go as far as the waiting room. He watched them until he could no longer see her. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see that it was Gibbs.

"How is she?"

"They beat her Boss. She has bruises across her stomach and back. The paramedics said she's malnourished and dehydrated. They said they were going to have to run test and take x-rays to check for other injuries. I can't lose her Boss."

"Then don't give up on her. She's a fighter otherwise she wouldn't have been able to free herself or make it to you." Gibbs reminded him.

"You're right boss. Thanks."

Gibbs just nodded. He knew DiNozzo needed a bit of reassuring. The two sat quietly until the waiting room doors opened. They both looked up to see who Tony assumed was Rupert Giles, Xander Harris, and Willow Rosenburg walk in.

"You must be Buffy's brother Tony DiNozzo?" Tony nodded. "I'm Rupert Giles and this is Xander Harris and Willow Rosenberg."

"It's nice to be able to put a face with the names. This is my boss Jethro Gibbs." Gibbs greeted each of them.

"How is she?" Giles asked.

"Not good, whoever took her beat her. She has dark bruising across her back and stomach. The EMT's said she was malnourished and dehydrated. They were taking her to x-ray to check for more damage."

"Was she able to tell you anything about who had her?" Xander asked.

"No, she passed out the minute we got down to the lobby." Tony told them.

"Then we'll just have to wait for her to tell us." Giles said.

He, Willow, and Xander took three seats by each other while Tony and Gibbs returned to their previous seats.

Several hours later Tony and Giles were the only ones still at the hospital. Both were sitting in Buffy's room waiting for her to wake up. The doctor had assured them that she would be fine once they got her levels back to normal. Tony was dozing in the chair and Giles was reading when Buffy began to come too.

"Tony?" Buffy called out softly.

Tony jolted awake at hearing his name. He looked at his sister to see that she was awake and looking at him.

"Tony you're here." Buffy said her voice sounding stronger.

"Of course, I'm here and so is Mr. Giles." Tony said pointing to the opposite side of the bed where Giles sat. Buffy followed to where he was pointing to see Giles.

"Hey Giles."

"Hey yourself. It's good to see you awake. You had us worried." Giles told her.

"How do you feel?" Tony asked.

"Tired and weak. Giles, I feel like I did on my eighteenth birthday."

"The serum?" Giles asked.

"I think so." Buffy told him.

"Who besides the Watcher's Council has access to this serum?" Tony asked.

"As far as I know the Watcher's Council had access to it, and those who know where it was kept died in the explosion." Giles told Tony.

"What about the few that weren't blown up or maybe someone from the families of those that were blown up?" Tony questioned.

"That could be. I remember hearing voices talking, and I'm pretty sure they spoke with a British accent." Buffy said right before she let out a huge yawn.

"Go back to sleep my dear. We can talk more about this tomorrow." Giles told her and Buffy nodded sleepily.

"You're both going to stay right?"

"As long as you're here I'm here." Tony assured her.

"And I'll be here until the sun comes up and then I want to make some calls to see if I can figure who took you."

"Just be careful Giles." Buffy said closing her eyes and going back to sleep.

Tony and Giles sat quietly in their chair not wanting to wake Buffy with their talking. Tony didn't know what the next few days were going to bring but he was going to make sure he was there for Buffy.
