Lost Baby Girl found Alive over forty years later December 26th 2017
On the first of January 1976 one week old Evelyn Diggory was kidnapped from her nursery, for the last forty one years Amos and Margaret (Maggie) Diggory had been looking for their daughter. Evelyn's kidnappers bought her to a police station in a small muggle town over 500 hundred kilometers away. This is where chief Martin Ackerman found the infant, no one know where she came, all she had was a blanket and note saying her first and middle name and her birthday. Chief Ackerman adopted the baby and raised as his daughter. Evelyn turned out to be a squib and grow up always wondering about her birth family. She went University and law schools and married her high school sweetheart Finnegan (Finn) Fleming in 2003. On twenty-fourth of February 2006 their twins Rowan Margaret and Keegan Cedric were born. Just this September the twins started at Hogwarts. Rowan was sorted into Gryffindor while Keegan was sorted into Hufflepuff just like Cedric was. The twins along with their friends Alexander (Alex) Macmillan, Mason Wright and Rose Granger-Weasley were able to found out. It took a group of five first years under forty minutes to solve a mystery over forty years old. Yesterday Amos and Margaret got to see their daughter for the first time in many years. It was a bittersweet moment since Cedric Diggory never got to meet his sister. The Diggorys have agreed to give the award to their grandchildren to help them in their wizarding education. Tomorrow's paper will be an interview with the family.
