Me, Coco, and Lucky walked out of the forest together, but we didn't say a word. I started to think about what Apollo's future would've been like. He could've gotten one of the best jobs in world and make tons of money. He could've decided to settle down and start a family. He could've decided to travel the world and become a famous traveler.

But, all because of Ryan, he couldn't become anything.

We finally made it back to the plaza. There were a few villagers out and about, not knowing what had just happened to Apollo. Looking at the villagers, I realized I haven't seen Whitney since yesterday. Was she still unpacking? I also realized that I haven't even started to unpack.

Coco and Lucky were talking to each other quietly, like they didn't want me to overhear them. I looked behind me and I saw a brown deer with white lips running towards me.

"You new here?" she asked. I nodded. I couldn't speak at that moment. I was still in a lot of shock over what happened.

"Well, I'm Deirdre," she replied, "My friend wants to meet you. She's pretty cool." I didn't want to do any introductions right now, but I didn't want to let her down. I looked back at Coco and Lucky and they were still talking.

"Sure," I said quietly.

"Great!" Deirdre said excitedly, "I'll go get her!" She then ran into a nearby garden, probably to go get her friend. All of the sudden, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked behind me and Lucky was standing there.

"Can we talk for a minute while she's getting her friend?" he asked. Was he listening to our conversation?

"What's it about?" I asked. He then motioned me to follow him. I followed him and he took me over to Coco.

"Hey Riley," she said quietly, "Can we talk to you about Ryan real quick?"

"Yeah," I answered.

"Okay, good," she said, "There's a K.K. Slider concert happening on Saturday. We should expose him there."

Expose him at a K.K. concert? Why was she being so specific?

"Why then?" I asked, "Can't we just do it now?"

"He can't kill us if we expose him in front of not only the entire village, but also K.K. himself," she answered.

"Is he going to kill us?" I muttered. She and Lucky looked at each other, then they looked back at me.

"He's been trying to get rid of me for ages now," Coco said, "Today was the final straw."

"Hey, new kid! My friend's here!"

I turned around and I saw Deirdre and a cute, purple cat running towards me. She stopped once she was in front of me and took a breather.

"This is my friend, Rosie," she said while panting.

"Hi!" Rosie said excitedly, "I can't believe you've already here! It's SO nice to meet you!" She then shook my hand rapidly.

"Nice to meet you, too," I replied, "I'm Riley!"

"Ryan, the mayor here, said that you moved in yesterday! I couldn't believe it! I wanted to meet you, but I couldn't find you," Rosie said rapidly. I got confused. Didn't Whitney also move her yesterday? I know she did, since I was with her for almost the entire day.

"Have you met the other new neighbor yet?" I asked Rosie and Deirdre, "Her name is Whitney." They both looked at me confused.

"The mayor said you were the only one moving in," Deirdre said. I looked over at Coco and Lucky and they looked confused as well.

"Her name is Whitney. She's a white wolf with blue eyes. She lives in the cul-de-sac with me, Coco, and Lucky." Again, they all looked at me confused. Why did they not know she moved in with me? What was going on?

"Is she your imaginary friend?" Rosie asked.

"No," I answered, "Whitney was seen by Porter, Ryan, and even a cat on the train we rode on."

"Let's just go back to the cul-de-sac," I heard Lucky say from behind me. Did he think I was crazy?

"Fine," I muttered. Me, Coco, and proceeded to walk back to the cul-de-sac.

"We'll plan how to expose Ryan tomorrow," Coco said to me and Lucky.

"I haven't even started to unpack yet," I said. While we were on our way there, Lucky caught a bug.

"Look at what I found!" he exclaimed. He then showed us an atlas moth he had in his net.

"Those are pretty rare," Coco said. "You should donate it to Blathers."

"Who's Blathers?" I asked.

"He's an owl that runs the museum," Lucky explained. "He's afraid of bugs, but he gives all of his creatures at the museum tons of care, unlike me." He then let out a loud laugh. Coco sighed.

"Your pet fish that you said you would take good care of starved," she said.

"It didn't starve!" Lucky shouted. "It died of old age!"

"Whatever floats your boat," she responded. We then went back to walking while Lucky put the bug in a container that was as big as the bug itself. When we finally made it back to the cul-de-sac, Lucky went to his house. I looked over at "Whitney's" house, but the lights were turned off. I was about to finally get inside my house when Coco said something.

"Make sure you come to my place tomorrow around ten," she said. She then went inside her own house. So, I gently opened the door of my house and opened it up.

There were already boxes in the house, as I had already had them delivered before I arrived. It had enough room for me to do all my activities. It even had a second floor, which was strange. I read on the website that you usually have to pay off your loan before you got a second floor to your home. I guess whoever lived here before me already did that.

"Wonder if they were killed," I thought to myself.

I then spent the rest of the day unpacking my belongings. I had unpacked almost everything and was just about to get my computer set up in my bedroom on the second floor when I got a call from the phone downstairs. I immediately ran down and picked it up.

"Hello," I said. Whoever was on the other end was silent at first. I heard something moving around.

"Help me!" I heard a female voice yell faintly. Then, the line went dead. I immediately put down the phone. Was it just a prank call? Knowing what had just happened, it probably wasn't. I was beginning to think of who was on the line, but I only had one guess.

Whitney.

I immediately began to worry about what happened to her. Was she kidnapped and being tortured?

I needed to find out. I immediately call Lucky and Coco.

"Hi Riley," I heard Lucky say with food in his mouth.

"Hey," I heard Coco calm voice say. "What's going on?"

"Whitney isn't imaginary," I said. "She is real."
