The streets are bustling as Lucy Heartfilia is walking down the central market, humming along to herself as her smile gleams bright.
"Feels so great not to have to worry about Fairy Tail right now! No arguments, no trouble, and best of all, no training-" At that moment, a loud and shrillish kiai comes close to Lucy, who steps to the side just in time to avoid a harrowing slash from none other than Erza Scarlet.
"Erza?! What the heck?" Lucy exclaims, with a face of wide surprise and disdain.
"One must be prepared for a battle at anytime." Erza states with a nod. "En guarde!"
"Bu-but Erza!" Lucy whines. "It's my downtime and i'm in no mood for fightin-" Lucy's sentence is interrupted by a barrage of slashes and jabs coming straight from Erza, to which Lucy hops back as rapidly as she can, eventually landing in fighting position.
"Gee wiz, you are insane!" says Lucy in frustration.
"Whatever, let's go then..."
Erza smiles. "Gladly."
Lucy prepares to unleash her magic, as Erza raises a finger. "Oh and, do try to refrain from your magic this time...Today I wish to harness your melee combat ability..."
Lucy's moan is heard from around the market. "Okay okay okay, jeez! Well, I won't hold back..."
"Looking forward to it." Erza nods.
The two women run full speed at each other as a few onlookers eventually look on. Lucy launches a fuming kick to Erza, as Erza delivers a punch towards Lucy. Erza uses the hilt of her blade to launch Lucy right up through the air, to which Lucy is then able to flip herself upright and come down from the air to land feet first on Erza with great force, sending her flying into a nearly ramen noodle stand, crashing into the shop while damaging the tables, stools and spilling a steaming bowl of ramen onto a fellow customer.
"Ouhhh, it burns!" screeches the customer in pain. Erza pops out of the stand, focused on her target.
"Grr..." Erza leaps back into the centre, charging back at Lucy. The girls send a number of parries and blows to each other.
A yell can be heard from the side, from that of the customer. "You're gonna pay for messing with my food! I will be speaking to the manager!"
The girls pay no attention to this as they are focused on deflecting and attacking each other as best as they can. With each blow, more of the townsfolk crowd around as the sparring intensifies.
"I don't really like fighting...but I guess we gotta put on a show, heheh..." a grinning Lucy yells as she executes a spin that culminates in her kicking Erza up in the air, juggling her up with a few hits, before Erza comes crashing to the ground, the cluttering of armour making a resounding impact.
Erza slowly gets up with a firm nod, and a slight smile. "Tch...you really have learned a lot from your time within the guild." Erza slowly claps.
"You asked for it." Lucy states with a wink.
"Wait right here. I will treat you to a meal as a reward." Erza states.
"Oh t-thanks, but i'm not really hungry an..." Lucy sighs as Erza has already begun walking away into the market.
"Gah, she's sure a handful at times..." Lucy rolls her eyes but eventually her smile returns.
"Well, at least now I can finally, properly enjoy my free time-" A sudden clankering of metal is heard, and Lucy looks to her arm to see a sudden handcuff on it. "Wha!?"
Lucy turns around to see two people - a rugged policewoman , and the ramen customer from earlier. "Yep! It was her. That hooligan trashed the store and beat someone up."
"Thank you, Karen." The police officer tips her hat, and finishes cuffing up Lucy. "You're taking a trip to the slammer."
"W-w-wait! N-no! I'm a good girl!" Lucy pouts. "I-I was just sparring with my friend, believe me!" a whining Lucy yells.
"Woohohooo! sure didn't look like a spar to me!" an onlooker yells out.
"Miss, you're under arrest for destruction of public property, as well as assault on a member of the public." states the police officer.
"No wait! You're making a mistake!" shouts Lucy as she's escorted away by the officer.
"Yeah yeah, tell that to the judge." says the police officer dragging her.
"C'mon! M-my friend will be here any second! Erza!? Erzaaaa!?" Lucy yells out in vain.
"Don't make this hard for yourself." the policewoman drags a struggling Lucy away to a police van.
Eventually, Lucy Heartfilia finds herself being escorted within the local town jail, where criminals of all shapes and sizes can be found. A policeman leads her to a hallway filled with a row of cells on each side.
The policeman ushers Lucy to make her way to the end of the hall. As she makes her way through, she is met by a piercing glare from what seems to be a man donning a chicken suit with an orange apron - crossing his arms, as still as a statue.
"What's the harm in a bit of egging..." the odd prisoner gives a sinister grin.
"W-what the heck?! What is this place..." Lucy thinks to herself as she passes another cell, to find a dishevelled, grey spiky-haired man laughing maniacally.
"All the weak shall die...not a single fairy shall remain..." the man continues to cackle like a maniac.
"Wha, what!?" Lucy yells.
"Oh that's just Mr. Rustyrose, he's always kiddin' around like that." the policewoman states.
"I gotta get out of here!" Lucy gulps. "There's gotta be someway to prove my innocence!"
They then pass a cell containing quite a familiar face to Lucy - a woman with a cat-ear headband who seethes at the sight of Lucy.
"Heartfilia!? G-get away from me!" the woman screeches, to which Lucy stares in confusion.
"S-Sherry? Why are you in here?" Lucy asks in bemusement.
Sherry glares for a moment before giving a defeated sigh. "...Stalking..."
Lucy chuckles before being pushed forward by the policewoman, eventually reaching the end of the corridor. The policewoman points to an empty cell. "Get in there, you scum."
'But I told you, I'm innoce-" the policewoman pushes Lucy into the cell and the shackling of bars is heard as the cell is closed.
