Job 8: Deep River Duke Out
Bentley wheels his way over to a small point where the river near the temple starts from a waterfall. As he does, Dimitri strolls up, decked in his trademark scuba gear and bow gun.
"Since we can't halt the Spice Grinder from the inside, we'll have to take out the water wheel and since you're the only swimmer Dimitri we'll leave it in your hands." informs Bentley.
"Oh yeah! I've still got the juice bro! It's showtime baby!" replies Dimitri who then jumps in without hesitation. The view is the same as it was from Sly 3 whenever he had to find something important or battle an undersea creature.
"Be careful Dimitri, Rajan spiced up the crocodiles here and he's installed some underwater turrets as well. Luckily I gave you some tranquilizer shots that you can toggle with L or R button with your regular shots. The crocodiles are ferocious and can chain bite Dimitri if he's not careful, but a few shots from the tranquilizer shots renders them tame. There are 4 crocodiles to contend with here and then Dimitri reaches the water wheel protected by underwater turrets. As he approaches, Rajan's growling voice is heard.
"Well well, if it isn't my old accomplice Dimitri, but now on the side of the Cooper Gang?!"
"You no bro, bad cat, you a crackerbox now! You think you've got the juice to stop me? Why don't you show me your bling and let me shine you!"
"What?! Guards get that iguana!" Roars Rajan. At his signal, a bunch of macaques this time with some bamboo snorkeling gear to accompany their bamboo launchers jump in firing at Dimitri as he battles them and the water wheel. Fortunately, the rockets move slow while in the water compared to on land where they traveled fast. Eventually, the water wheel is destroyed and Dimitri jumps out happily.
"I'm mag to the jag to the efficent baby!" he exclaims with his usual jovial energy.
Job Complete
Dimitri just poses in his scuba gear with his bow gun upwards, smiling.
