Percy

I woke up the next morning with a mess of brown curly hair on my chest.

I remember everything that happened last night. Our kiss. Just thinking about it caused me to blush.

I felt movement and looked down to see Hermione slowly waking up.

"Morning Mione."

"Good morning."

I heard the door to the infirmary open and then closed.

"You two may be of almost legal age but I will allow this kind of behavior in here!" said Madam Pomfrey walking towards us.

This caused Hermione and I to blush.

"Get up Ms. Granger. You too Mr. Jackson. I will not have this. Also, you're to be released today as long as I deem you healthy."

We slowly got out of the bed and fixed ourselves.

"But I'm feeling good." I said.

"No, I must make sure all students are healthy before releasing them. she said.

"Fine." I grumbled.

"Alright let me see here." Madam Pomfrey looked at me very closely which made me feel uncomfortable.

I caught Hermione staring at me. I gave her a sly grin then mouthed, 'like what you see.' She turned away hoping to hide her blush. This only caused me to laugh.

"Mr. Jackson no moving." said Madam Pomfrey.

After a few minutes she said he was good and let us leave the infirmary. I must have not noticed it before, but it was really early in the morning.

We decided to go back to the Gryffindor Tower to freshen up and get ready for the day.

"I'll meet you back down here in half an hour." Hermione said before going up to the girls' dormitories.

I nodded my head and went to the boys' dormitories. I tried to walk as quietly as possible so I wouldn't wake up the others, but stealth wasn't my thing even back on my other quests. I wonder how everyone was doing. I wonder if the gods knew or the other campers. Oh gods, I didn't even tell my mom that I would be on a quest for who knows how long.

I have to go talk to Dumbledore about this as soon as possible to see if there was someway to talk to her.

I finally got to my room, I tried to quietly open the door, but it made a loud noise causing me to wince. I continued to open the door and in my astonishment, Harry, Neville, and Ron were still asleep.

I went over to my chest and quickly took out a new set of my uniform before going to the showers. I took a quick shower and putting on everything but the robe which I still refused to wear. What was the point?

I got back to the common room and noticed I still had some time to spare.

I decided to ponder on what has happened on this quest so far. I guess I've been doing what I'm supposed to be doing, protect Harry and the others. I've made some friends and now Voldemort probably know something about me after his little attempt. This quest was something entirely different than any of my previous quests.

I remember like it was just yesterday that I got attacked by Alecto and beginning my demigod days.

I was startled out of my thoughts by a voice, "Percy?"

I turned around to see Hermione walking towards me. Gods did she look beautiful.

"Sorry was just thinking about what has happened and all."

She came and sat down next to me. "Since when do you think?"

"Ha ha ha, very funny. Anyways what are we doing today?"

"Going to class. You've made me miss all my classes and you need to catch up too."

"But I don't want to go to class." I whined.

"Well you need to make up all the lessons."

"But I know what I need too. I know like every spell out there!"

"Yea but not everything is about what spells you know. It may help dueling, fighting, or something, but you need to know important information too. You need to know how to make potions, herbology, charms, etc."

"Ugh fine! I'll go to class, but if Gryffindor loses points because I get bored and my ADHD acts up, it's on you." I said.

"Whatever Percy."

We came to an awkward silence. I wanted to ask her about last night but I was nervous about it. What if she doesn't like me? Damn it Percy, she kissed you back!

"Uh Hermione listen, about last night…" I trailed off.

"Hmm?"

"Well um about the kiss… does this mean we uh are um you know?" I asked nervously.

She laughed, "Of course Percy, I would love to be your girlfriend."

She then blushed, "I-I-I mean if thats what you were asking…"

This caused me to grin like crazy. I picked her up and swung her around.

"Percy put me down!" she laughed.

I put her down in front of me never letting go of her waist. Our eyes locked, sea green on hazel brown eyes. We both started to lean in and out lips connected. Her lips were soft.

Our kiss got more heated as her hands were roaming in my hair. We separated reluctantly because we were out of breath.

"Oh my god. That was cute and all, but next time you guys make out can you do it somewhere more private?" asked the familiar voice of a certain red haired girl.

"Ginny! What are you doing!" said a red Hermione.

Gods she's beautiful when she's embarrassed.

"So you decided to finally get together?" she asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"C'mon, I could tell you guys totally liked each other. It's about time."

"Was it that obvious?" Hermione asked.

"Well I could tell, don't know about the others." she said simply.

"No, you're just a little red haired stalker." I joked.

"What? Pft please Percy, I've got better things to do then stalk you."

I feigned hurt by grabbing my heart. "That's not possible."

"Oh please get over yourself." laughed Ginny.

Checking at the time, we still had plenty of time.

"What are you doing up so early anyways?" I asked.

"I actually don't know. I guess I just couldn't go back to sleep. Anyways how ya feeling Perce?" Ginny answered.

"I'm good. Thanks for asking."

There was a slight sound of footsteps causing me to look behind Ginny. It was Neville.

"Sup Neville." I said

"Hi Neville." said Hermione.

"Hey Nevs."

"Hey guys. How are you feeling Percy? And again I'm sorry." he said.

Sighing, "Neville there's no need to be sorry, it wasn't your fault and I was feeling good until Hermione told me I had to go to classes."

This caused Neville and Ginny to laugh and Hermione to roll her eyes.

The four of us talked until the common room started to get occupied by more people. Everybody that came down saw me and asked how I was feeling. I noticed other people were looking at me in awe, fear, or both.

By the time the seventh person asked me, I voiced my question to the three I was sitting with, "Does everyone know what happened or something?"

"They know you fought off a group of Death Eaters and before saving Neville and the professors and aurors arriving." explained Ginny.

"I'm sure they would've wanted keep this a secret." I said.

"They did, but rumors spread after Professor Dumbledore said there was an incident at Hogsmeade and no one was allowed to go. Plus you were in the infirmary and we may have told some people some minor details." Ginny said sheepishly.

"Gee thanks guys. More attention I don't want." I said.

"I'm sure word of it would've gotten out sometime." said Ginny.

"You should probably go see Professor Dumbledore later too. He'll probably want to talk to you." Hermione said.

"I wanted to talk to him also." I said.

"Hey guys." said Harry followed by Lavender and Ron.

"How are you feeling Percy?" asked Lavender.

"Brand new, thanks for asking." I answered.

"Can we head down to breakfast? I'm starving." said Ron.

"Ron, you just woke up." said Lavender incredulously.

"What? I need food." he defended himself.

"I agree, I'm pretty hungry as well." I said agreeing with Ron.

"Alright let's go." said Harry.

The seven of us went down to the dining hall. Once we got there Neville went to talk to Luna for a bit. The rest of us went to claim our normal seats. I noticed people were looking at me and it made me feel uncomfortable.

Hermione took my hand and squeezed it reassuringly. "Just ignore them Percy."

"Thanks." I mumbled.

We took our seats and shortly after Neville joined us.

"Good morning everyone. I hope you all had a good rest. In a couple of weeks it will be Christmas break, something to look forward to. Now please enjoy breakfast."

With Dumbledore finish speaking the food appeared on the tables. Ron and I started to scarf down food.

"I can't tell who eats more." said Harry.

I swallow the food in my mouth. "Well I haven't eaten anything in like two days in case you forgot."

"Still it crazy how you two can eat so much." said Neville.

"I don't know about Ron, but I always needed energy for my training and such back in America." I explained.

"Training? You mean your classes?" asked Lavender.

"Well yea classes, but we were asking trained to fight without our wands too. Can't fight on an empty stomach." I said.

Lavender nodded accepting my answer.

Breakfast continued normally, talking about random stuff. After breakfast Ginny went to go meet up with Luna since they both had potions right now. The rest of us had Defense Against the Dark Arts.

"Well a class where the teacher hates our guts." said Ron.

"C'mon he's not that bad if you talk to him." I said. When I first Snape he reminded me of Nico. Always gloomy and keeping to himself, but once you talk to him you get to know who he really is.

The rest of them were staring at me in shock.

"What?" I asked.

"Did you just say Professor Snape isn't that bad?" asked Harry.

"Yea, he's got to be working with he who shall not be named. I don't know why Professor Dumbledore trusts him." said Ron.

"Trust me guys, he's a good guy." I said defending Snape.

"Whatever." said Ron.

We finally got to the DADA room and people were filling in. There was a long stage thing in the middle of the room.

I saw Draco, Pansy, and some other Slytherins. I gave him a grin and he smiled at me before turning back to his house mates..

"Let's get this over with." mumbled Neville.

"What was the Mr. Longbottom?" asked Snape walking into the room behind us.

"N-nothing professor." answered Neville.

"Alright class, who here knows anything about dueling?" asked Snape.

No one raised their hands.

"I know many of you here were in the Dueling Club held by that incompetent Lockhart." said Snape.

"Well he didn't really teach us anything Professor." said Harry.

"I see." Snape said staring right at Harry which caused him to fidget slightly.

He looked around the room until his eyes landed on me.

"Very well, Jackson come here. I know you are quite familiar with dueling." Snape said staring at me.

I groaned, getting out of my seat and slowly walked up to Snape.

People were whispering and no doubt it had to be about me fighting Death Eaters.

"Any volunteers to duel Jackson here? If none I will pick myself."

I saw some Slytherin kid look around before standing up.

"He can't be much." said the same kid.

"Very well, Percy you will be dueling Josh."

"You will both assume appropriate positions." Snape said.

We walked onto the center of the stage and bowed towards each other before walking away from each other in the count of three.

"One…"

Deciding I didn't want to hurt the kid, I was just going to disarm him or something after letting him throw a couple of spells at me.

"Two…"

I saw people looking at us very closely. Others were whispering, and was that galleons I saw being passed around?

"Three."

I turned around just to block a few spells he fired straight off. This kid was quick.

After blocking for a little longer, Josh was obviously getting annoyed.

"Are you going to do anything besides blocking my bloody spells?" he asked.

"Ok fine. Aguamenti!" I also used a tiny bit of my powers to make the jet of water bigger and stronger.

The jet of water rushed towards him, effectively knocking him back and dropping his wand.

"Jackson wins." said Snape in the same gloomy voice as always.

I walked up to Josh and offered my hand. He looked at me for a couple of seconds before accepting. I pulled him up.

"Good duel man. You're pretty quick, but don't let anger blind you." I said.

"Thanks." he mumbled before walking away.

I walked back over to Hermione and everyone. I noticed Neville had some galleons he didn't have before.

"Seriously?" I asked.

"What? Easy money!" he said defending himself.

I shook my head and laughed.

The rest of class went in with other people dueling. I didn't really pay much attention it though. I did see Hermione beat Ron though.

The next class I had was potions apparently with Harry and Ron. They told me that Professor Slughorn used to teach here a while back. Harry and Dumbledore had to convince him to come back over the summer. This I already knew because Dumbledore had informed me in everything and that I was even suppose to help Harry get Slughorn to give him the real memory of what happened when Tom Riddle asked about Horcruxes.

Dumbledore told me to not mention anything yet because he hasn't told Harry about the task. He just asked me to start making Slughorn like Harry. He didn't know I was a demigod either.

The three of us walked into the potions room. I didn't understand why it was in the dungeons.

"Take out your textbooks and let's begin." said Slughorn.

Potions went by boringly. Nothing exciting happened, my potion didn't come out too well. I don't know how but Harry's potion came out perfectly. Slughorn seemed really impressed.

The rest of the day was also uneventful, though dinner was good. After dinner we went back to the Gryffindor Tower and all went to bed.

When I laid down I thought about how much I rather be in the infirmary then having to go to class again. I know if I told Hermione she would lecture me on the importance of the classes.

Hearing the others asleep I drifted off shortly after.

AN: I know the ending is kind of rushed but sorry guys! Also, I would really appreciate if you guys could tell me of what you think of the whole story so far and if there is anything I should do and what not. And, please go check out my other story! It would me a lot to me! Thanks!

Guest: I know right! So do I!

Guest: I like Percabeth too and I know it was OOC for Annabeth in the first chapter, but I wanted them to break up some how. I didn't want to kill her off, so I had to think of some way.
