"C'mon Percy! Wake up, you don't want to miss the train!" yelled a familiar voice in my ear while simultaneously shaking me violently.
I shot up out of my bed and surveyed the room. the only occupant in the room was Harry.
"What?" I asked.
"Did you forget already? Seriously Percy, its holiday break. Everyone is going home except for the ones that want to stay. Now hurry up and get dress so we can head down to breakfast. I don't want to be starving on the ride back." said Harry.
I swung my legs over the edge of the bed and stood up. I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I quickly hopped into the shower and turned it on. The cold water was refreshing against my skin and I felt energized. After twenty minutes i got of the shower and dried myself. I changed into a new set of clothes and walked back into the bedroom. There was a note on my bed. 'I went down first, you were taking forever -Harry'.
The past months have passed relatively quick. The classes were still boring as usual. Now it was time to go back home and visit my mom. She must be worried sick where I am. I wonder if Chiron ever told the other campers where i had gone off too. I was really excited to show Hermione New York City. I think she would really like it there, I hope she does.
I went down to the dining hall to see everyone eating already. I quickly hurried to the Gryffindor table and sat down next to Hermione.
"Morning everyone." I said. I got a mixture of hellos and good mornings from everyone.
I started taking various food and stuffing my face. Out of the corner of my eye i saw Hermione wrinkle her nose and shake her head. I finished chewing what was in my mouth, "What I'm hungry."
"Would it hurt to eat slowly. I just don't know how you don't choke on eating all that food so fast." she replied.
I shrugged my shoulders in return and started to eat again while she ate a much slower pace.
"Are you excited to go to the States Hermione?" asked Ginny finishing up her breakfast.
"I think I'll like it a lot. Plus I'll have Percy there, I wish all of you guys could come. I'm sure it would be more fun to have more friends there." answered Hermione.
"What about you? Do the four of you have anything planned to do? What about you Neville? You and Luna have anything planned?" asked Hermione.
"Nothing yet, but I'm sure we'll think of something. We will probably meet up with Neville and Luna and do something. Don't worry about us though. You and Percy have fun, but just not too much fun." said Ginny winking at us.
Hermione turned a bright pink and i almost choked on the food i was currently chewing on. This caused everyone to laugh at us.
"Oh please, Harry and Lavender you're both staying at the Burrow. HOw do we know nothing might happen? Hmm?" I questioned. Now it was their turn to turn red in the face.
"Anyways we should all go do some last minute packing. Make sure we have everything that we need." suggested Hermione.
Everyone agreed to Hermione's suggestion and we all walked back to the Gryffindor Tower talking about random things like Quidditch and such. When we got to the Fat Lady, Neville said the password and we entered. The girls went to their dormitory and the four of us went to our dormitory.
"You know Percy, I may have been hostile towards you in the beginning, but after being friends with you all this time, I feel like you were always here." said Neville.
"Really? That means a lot to me man. You're a great friend too." I said.
"Yea, like part of our big family." said Ron.
"C'mon you too? Don't get all sentimental now guys." I said.
"They're right Percy. You may not know it, but you have changed all of us, especially Hermione. Before you came, ever since last year, she would always seem distant. She would always bury herself in work and not spend as much time with as she use too. You've really made her happy and I'm happy for the both of you." Harry said.
"Thank you guys for everything. All of you have affected me too." I said.
"Why does it feel like we are saying goodbye forever?" said Ron.
We all laughed at his statement. It was true though, they didn't know what was going to come in this upcoming war. I've seen too many friends die, and I don't want to see anyone here in Hogwarts die on my hand. I will prepare them the best I can. There are too many young children here like Annie.
"Way to ruin the moment Ron." said Neville.
"What?" he asked.
I rolled my eyes and Harry shook his head. Oh Ron.
As soon as all of us packed everything into our trunks we headed back down to the common room. The girls were coming down at the same time. We went to go sit on the couches by the fire place. I could have swore I saw an eight year old girl wink at me before disappearing in the flames.
"Hestia." I muttered.
These past months I had not seen and source of Greek mythology. It was as if I living a normal life. Well I guess being a wizard isn't exactly normal, but at least no blood thirsty monsters coming after you right? I wonder how my life would be if I wasn't a demigod.
"Hellooooooo! Earth to Percy." said Neville waving a hand in front of my face.
"Huh." I said startled.
"Went off into lala land again? What were you think about?" asked Lavender.
"Oh sorry.I was just thinking about life in general I guess." I replied.
"Its fine, we were just wondering if you two would be back before holiday ends." said Lavender.
"Um, I actually do not know. I guess it kind of depends on how both of us are feeling. If she wants to stay longer then I guess we will be. I do miss my mom a lot so I don't know." I said.
"Thats fine." she replied.
"Its almost time to leave, we should start heading down so we can get our usual compartment on the train." said GInny.
The seven of us walked down the the main entrance and found Luna waiting there. Neville went to go and hug her. They were good for each other.
"Hello everyone." greeted Luna.
She got a chorus of hellos in return. We boarded onto two different carriages since each could only hold 4. It was the second time I saw the Thestrals. I noticed Harry flinched when one came pulling the carriage he, Ginny, Lavender, and Ron getting onto.
"Percy, wait!" yelled a familiar voice.
I turned around to see Dumbledore coming towards us.
"Yes Professor?" I asked.
"I'm sorry I need to talk to Percy privately. Can you come with me?" he asked.
I turned to the others and they just nodded. I took that as a yes and I followed Dumbledore away from earshot of anyone.
"What is it?" I asked.
"I want you to be careful when you go back. Also I got the class approved, so as soon as you return you can start teaching. Remember to ask Chiron, I am sure he would be willing to help and remember, no back up. I know how much you miss your friends but it would just raise too much suspicion. Also make sure to ask Chiron or Lady Hecate if they know anything that could help the other students clear sighted. And please take good care of Ms. Granger." said Dumbledore.
"I will Dumbledore. Thank you for letting me do this. I'll make sure to tell Chiron you say hello." I said.
"Thank you my boy, now go before they get worried. Be safe." said Dumbledore.
"Goodbye Professor." I said.
We parted ways and i walked back to the carriage that had Hermione, Luna, and Neville seated in it. I climbed onto the carriage and sat next to Hermione. The carriage started to move and it pulled away from Hogwarts.
"What did Professor Dumbledore want?" asked Hermione.
"He was telling me to be safe and to take care of Hermione. Make sure nothing happens to her and stuff." I explained.
Luna and Neville accepted the answer, but I knew Hermione knew I was holding something back.
Our carriage pulled up next to the Hogwarts Express. It looked exactly the same as when i first saw it. I wonder what it does when its not being used. We boarded the train and I followed Hermione to their usual compartment where they always sit apparently. It just happen to be that when they were coming here this year they were late for the first time and the only compartment available was the one I was in. Man that seemed an eternity ago. We walked down the narrow paths of the Hogwarts Express. Hermione stopped at a door to a bigger compartment. I saw Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Lavender already settled in there. The rest of us piled in and we sat down. A couple of minutes later, the train pulled away from Hogwarts. I watched as it disappear from view.
"Well a couple of hours and we'll be in London." said Harry.

"- and thats why daddy and I believe Nargles exist, though many people don't believe us." explained Luna.
We slowly pulled into the KIng's Cross Station and the train stopped. I got up and stretched and Luna did the same. Luna and I were the only ones awake. She was a very interesting person to talk too.
"Well I'd believe they exist if that happened to me. I would be interested in helping you find them. I'll keep an eye out for them in the States." I said
"Thank you. That would mean a lot." squealed Luna. She engulfed in a hug startling me at first. I hugged her back after.
She stopped hugging me after a bit and pulled away red faced, "Sorry." she mumbled.
"Sorry for what?" I asked.
"For hugging you." she muttered.
"Seriously Luna? I don't mind you huggin me. We are friends and friends do hug." I said.
Luna smiled at me. "Lets wake them up." she said.
After everyone was awake we got off the train and went to get our trunks. I saw Annie and Draco getting off the train, Pansy was right behind them. I decided to walk over there and wish them to have a good Christmas.
"I'll be right back." I told the others.
I walked up to the trio. "Hey Annie, Draco and Pansy." I said.
Annie ran up to me and hugged me tightly. I laughed and hugged her back.
"I'm going to miss you Percy." she said.
"Don't worry it won't be for that long. Before you know it. we'll see each other again." I said.
"Have a Merry Christmas Percy." said Annie.
"Have a Merry Christmas Annie." I said.
I turned to Draco and Pansy who were currently holding hands, " Have a good Christmas you two."
"Thanks, you too." replied Draco.
"Listen Percy… I know I wasn't exactly the nicest person, but Draco has changed me. He told me you forgave him. At first I was mad at him and you... but he showed me hating everyone isn't good. I wanted to say I'm sorry." explained Pansy.
"No harm done Pansy. I'm glad you decided to change." I said.
"Its a good thing she did." said Draco before he kissed Pansy.
"Ew!" said Annie.
"Oh Annie, someday when you grow up, you'll find yourself a boy that you love." said Pansy laughing at Annie's antics.
"Nooo." said Annie.
I looked back at the others and they seemed to be waiting for me.
"Well I got to get going, but you guys have a good holiday break. Be safe and have fun." I said.
They told me the same thing and i left and went back to the others.
"Draco and Pansy are a thing now I assume." said Harry.
"Yep. Why?" I asked.
"Nothing." he replied.
The eight of us said goodbye to other students and left the platform 9¾. To others we just look like a group of teenagers on a normal day. We started to head to the exit of King's Cross. Everyone put on their winter coats due to the coldness outside. Molly, Arthur, Fred and George were waiting by the main entrance.
"Oh my darlings!" shouted Molly as she came and engulfed Ginny and Ron in a bone crushing hug.
The rest of us were trying to stifle our laughs.
"The rest of you are not out of this" said Mrs. Weasley and she gave each one of us a bone crushing hug.
"Neville, Luna, where are you two going?" asked Mr. Weasley.
"Luna is going to be staying with me and my grandmother at my house for the holiday." said Neville.
"What about you Hermione dear? And you Percy, you came from the U.S., you probably have no where to stay. Why don't the two of you come to the Burrow." said Mrs. Weasley.
"Thank you for the offer Mrs. Weasley, but Percy and I are actually going back to the U.S. after we stop by quickly at my house." explained Hermione to the Weasley Parents.
"Eh Percy don't do anything naughty now." said Fred.
"Yea try not to be too rough." said George.
"Fred! George! That is no way to talk." said Mrs, Weasley.
"Well, you to have fun and be safe." said Mr. Weasley.
"Yes you two be safe, we better get going. Merry Christmas." said Mrs. Weasley before ushering her family, Harry and Lavender with them.
"We should get going to, don't want to keep my grandmother waiting." said Neville.
It was just Hermione and I left.
"Ready to go see my parents after all these years?" asked Hermione.
"Do you think they'll remember me?" I asked.
"Maybe, I'll admit that I almost didn't recognize you. When I first saw you I knew you looked really familiar." said Hermione.
"I guess we better go and find out." I said.
We walked out of KIng's Cross and hailed a cab. Hermione told the cab driver where to go and we were on our way. In about half an hour we pulled to a stop in front of Hermione's house. We paid for the ride and got out of the cab.
"It hasn't changed at all." I said looking at her house.
"Yep. C'mon lets go." said Hermione taking my hand.
Hermione and I walked up to her front door and she knocked on it. There was some shuffling inside before the door swung open.
"Hermione!" exclaimed a man before giving her a hug.
"Jane! Hermione is here!" shouted the man to the inside of the house.
Mr. Granger turned to look at me noticing we were holding hands before, "And who might you be?"
"Oh Hermione didn't tell you?" I asked.
"No she did-"
"Hermione dear!" came a woman. She gave Hermione a hug.
"Daniel, who is this?" asked Mrs. Granger.
"I was just asking him that." replied Mr. Granger.
"Mom, Dad, you remember Percy right?" asked Hermione.
"Yea what abo- wait Percy is that you?" asked Mrs. Granger.
"The one and only." I said.
I was engulfed by a hug by Mrs. Granger, "Its so good to see you again. My how much you've grown. You're a young man now. What're you doing here? Is your mother here with you? Did you two move back here?"
"Jane, why don't we go inside first and Percy its good to see you again." said Mr. Granger.
"Ok, ok come inside." said Mrs. Granger.
We walked into the house and it looked the same from all those years ago when my mom and I would visit. We sat down in the living room.
"How have you and your mother been?" asked Mrs. Granger.
"Why don't I explain everything first and if you two have any questions you can ask them after." I said.
"Sounds good." said Mr. Granger.
"First of all my mother and I still live in the U.S. and my mother recently got married. The reason I'm here is I attend Hogwarts now." I said.
"Oh thats wonderful, tell your mother congratulations and you're a wizard?" said Mrs. Granger.
"I will and yea." I said.
"Then why didn't you get a letter to Hogwarts earlier?" asked Mr. Granger.
"I uh don't know." I said.
"Well it is definitely good to see you Percy, but I'll be right back I have to go finish cooking in the kitchen. Hermione why don't you come help me make some more for you and Percy." said Mrs. Granger getting up to go to the kitchen. Hermione got up and followed her.
As soon as the two were gone Mr. Granger asked seriously, "So is there anything between you and Hermione I should know?"
"I uh well um we're kind of dating…" I said nervously.
He looked at me and I was scared on what he would say. He seemed to be thinking for a bit before he started smiling and laughing.
"Bloody hell Percy, you like you were about to pee your pants. Hermione is smart, I trust her on her decision on who to date. If you're the same as you were when you were younger then I know she is in good hands. I will say though that if you do hurt her, you will be sorry." said Mr. Granger.
"Thanks, Mr. Granger." I said.
Hermione and Mrs. Granger came back with four dishes of nice home cooked food.
"Smells delicious." I said.
"Well its actually one of your mother's recipes. She was one of the best cooks I knew." said Mrs, Granger.
"Well lets eat." said Mr. Granger.
We ate our lunch in silence, all enjoying the food. After we finished I decided that since I was a guest I would go wash the dishes. Hermione tagged along to help.
"You know your dad had me worried." I said washing the first plate.
"What did he do?" asked Hermione.
"I thought he didn't like me at first but he was just joking." I said.
"Yea he does that a lot." said Hermione.
We finished washing the dishes and we went to the living room. I looked at the time and noticed that we had to leave if we wanted to make our flight. Hermione saw the same thing.
"We should get going if we want to catch our flight." said Hermione.
"It figures you would be going to America with Percy. Just be careful and take good care of her Percy. Remember what I said and give your mother my regards." said Mr. Granger.
"Yes be careful and tell your mother that I miss our talks." said Mrs. Granger.
Hermione hugged her parents, "Bye Mom, bye Dad. Happy Holidays."
"It was good to see you Mr. and Mrs. Granger." I said.
Hermione and I left her house and walked down the block and got into a cab. We took it to Heathrow International Airport. When we got to the airport we paid for the cab and went inside. We checked in and went to our terminal.
"You okay Percy?" asked Hermione.
"Never liked flying on airplanes." I said.
"Right the Poseidon-Zeus thing." said Hermione.
"Yep, but I know he doesn't mind anymore. I guess old habits die hard." I said.
Soon enough we boarded the plane and got ready to fly into JFK.
"Ready to go to the United States?" I asked.
"I know it will be fun especially with you there." she replied.

I woke up just as we landed. It was a smooth landing. I looked to my left and Hermione was still sleeping. She was cute when she was sleeping, I hope that wasn't creepy. I decided to wake her up.
"Where are we?" she asked sleepily.
"We just landed. Welcome to New York." I said.
Hermione looked out the window of the plane. It was the afternoon because of the time difference. We got off the plane and walked into the airport.
"Welcome to Queens, New York." I said.
"Where to now?" asked Hermione.
"Well my mom lives in Manhattan, I want to go see her if you don't mind." I said.
"Alright lets go." she said.
We walked outside JFK and there was a bunch of traffic.
"Well a lot traffic like I always hear about." said Hermione.
"Oh don't worry its worse in Manhattan, but don't worry we won't be taking a car." I said.
"What do you mean?" asked Hermione.
"Here come." I said pulling Hermione to a secluded spot outside. I whistled loudly.
"Um what is that going to do?" she asked.
"You'll see." I said. Just then a beautiful black pegasus came flying in and landed in front of us.
"Hey boss. Where have you been? No one would give me sugar cubes or doughnuts. Whos the lady." said Blackjack.
"Hey, buddy. I've missed you and I was just away. This is Hermione my girlfriend." I said to the horse.
Hermione stroked Blackjack's snout and he seemed to enjoy it.
"Hi Blackjack." said Hermione.
"I like her boss. Cool accent too." said Blackjack.
I got onto Blackjack and then helped Hermione get on behind me. Sh wrapped her arms around my waist tightly.
"Smart thinking." I said.
"They don't call me the brightest witch of my age for nothing right?" she joked.
I just laughed in response. "Blackjack take us to my mom's apartment."
"Got it boss." said Blackjack.
We took off and flew into the skies. How I missed flying on Blackjack. I never got sick of the view of New York City from flying up here. I could tell Hermione liked it because she gasped at the view.
"The view is beautiful." said Hermione.
"Not as much as you." I told her.
After ten minutes of flying we were over the Manhattan skyline. We could see Central Park and Times Square from here. Blackjack flew us on top of my mom's apartment. We got off Blackjack and I rubbed Blackjack's snout.
"I'll see you later buddy." I said. Blackjack took off and flew into the distance.
I opened the door on the roof and led Hermione down the stairs. We walked down a couple of flights of stairs and got to the floor my mom and Paul lived on. We walked to their door and stopped in front of it. I knocked on the door and waited. The door opened and it was Paul.
"Percy! My god where have you been? Your mom and I were worried for you. All Chiron said was that you went on a quest. After a while we thought something happened you." said Paul taking me in a hug.
"Who is this?" asked Paul.
"Hi, I'm Hermione." she replied.
"I don't mean to be rude, but Percy why do you have an English girl with you?" asked Paul a little shocked.
"It's fine sir." said Hermione.
"Oh sorry my name is Paul. Its nice to meet you." he said holding out a hand.
"Its a long story why don't i tell you and mom at the same time." I said.
"Well come in and make yourself comfortable. Sally went to go pick something up. She has a surprise for you when you get back." said Paul.
"What do you mean? She didn't know I was coming so how could she have a surprise for me?" I asked.
"You'll see." he replied.
"Well I'm going to go take a shower then." I said.
I walked to my room and it looked exactly the same I left it. I looked for a change of clothes then walked to the bathroom. Before I closed the door I heard Paul ask Hermione about herself. I went in the shower and let the cold water pour on me. I wonder what going back to camp would be like. I finished taking my shower and dried myself off. I changed into my new clothes and went back to the living room. I stopped in shock at what I saw. My mom was back sitting on the couch next to Hermione who was holding a baby wrapped in a pink blanket.
"Mom?" I asked.
"Percy! I was so worried about you." exclaimed my mom who came over to me and gave me a bone crushing hug.
"I missed you too mom." I whispered in her ear. She let go of me and looked me up and down.
"Mom I'm fine. Who is that baby?" I asked.
"Percy, that your new sister." she said.
"My sister? How?" I asked surprised.
"We found out a little after the Titan War, her name is Emma. Would you like to hold her?" my mom said.
"Yes." I said.
We walked over to Hermione and I held out my arms. Hermione gently put the baby in my arms. She fit perfectly in my arms. She looked up at me and giggled and smiled at me.
"Hey Emma, I'm Percy your older brother." I said.
"So Percy, where have you been and you come back with Hermione?" asked my mom.
"Well the quest Chiron wanted me to go on was to London to protect a boy named Harry Potter. In London there are wizards and witches like Hermione who is a witch. They are supposed to hide their magic from mortals or people without magic. Anyways they go to a school called Hogwarts where they learn about magic and stuff. I was sent to this school because Harry is the only one who can stop the leader of the evil wizards and witches called Death Eaters. The leader is named Voldemort. As to why we are here, well its winter break so we decided to come here. Oh and Mr. and Mrs. Granger send their regards." I explained
"Another war Percy? You already been through two." mom said.
"I know but I can't just let innocent people die if there is something I can do about it. Plus I really got to know these people and make a lot of friends." I said.
My mom looked at Hermione, "Can you just watch out for my boy. Hes been through so much and knowing how you two use to watch each others back I can count on you."
"Don't worry Mrs. Blofis." Hermione said.
"Please just Sally." my mom told Hermione.
"Percy you always got to be the hero don't you. Even if your my step son I'm proud of you." said Paul.
"Thanks that means a lot Paul." I said.
Emma started to cry making me worried, "Did I do something wrong?"
"Oh Paul can you go feed her and put her to bed?" asked my mom.
"Of course." said Paul taking Emma from my arms.
After Paul left with Emma, my mom said, "Hermione you surely have grown into a beautiful young woman. Is there any lucky guy out there?"
"Well there is this one guy. He is really handsome, he is smart but at times he can be such a goofball at times." said Hermione.
I blushed at this, but it didn't go unnoticed by my mom because she raised an eyebrow at us.
"Does this boy happen to be my son?" asked mom.
"Yes." said Hermione.
"Percy aren't you still with Annabeth?" asked mom.
My heart panged at the bad memories of when I caught Annabeth cheating on me. My mom seemed to notice my discomfort.
"Is there something wrong Percy?" asked mom.
"Chiron didn't tell you huh. Part of the reason I went on this quest was to get away from camp. I found out Annabeth didn't really love me and was just using me." I explained.
"Oh Percy I didn't know. I'm so sorry. Well I'm glad you and Hermione are together if thats the case. I just can't believe Annabeth would do something like that. Do you plan on going back to camp?" asked mom.
"Yea I need to talk to Chiron. Do you think Hermione would be able to go through the borders of camp?" I said.
"I don't know if wizards and witches count, but I'm sure you could try because I think she would like to go." said mom.
"How does that sound Hermione? I think you shouldn't tell the others that you are a witch." I said.
"I would love to see your camp." she replied.
"Well since we are staying the night you can sleep in my bed and I'll sleep of the sofa." I said.
"I can't let you do that in your house." said Hermione.
"Yes you will." I said.
"Oh Hermione just let its a losing battle trust me." said mom.
"Fine." said Hermione.
"Well who wants dinner?" asked Paul coming back.

Mom's Toyota pulled to a stop in front of Half-Blood Hill.
"Now you two be careful. Take good care of her Percy and come back soon." said my mom.
"Love you mom and don't worry." I said.
"Thanks you Sally." said Hermione.
We climbed out of the Toyota and closed the doors. We waved to my mom and she drove off. I took Hermione's hand, "Ready to go?"
"Never been more ready." she replied.
The two of us walked up the hill together and got to Thalia's tree.
"I don't see anything."
"Here try to follow me." I walked through the barrier and saw the whole camp. There weren't many campers in camp. I did see a few though.
"Wow." said Hermione standing next to me.
"You got through!" I exclaimed.
"Yea I just walked right through like you did. This place is bloody amazing." said a surprised Hermione.
"Lets go to the Big House." I said holding Hermione's hand.
We walked past some campers I didn't recognize any of them. They were looking at us and whispering.
"Why are they looking at us like that?" asked Hermione.
"Cause we're older than the average new camper." I replied.
"But you're not new."
"I don't recognize any of them. They must have came after I left. Don't worry about them we are almost at the Big House where we can talk to Chiron."
"I thought there would be more demigods."
"Demigods usually just come when its summer. During the school year they go back to their families. Some stay here if its needed."
"Ok."
We got to the Big House and there was no one on the porch. I walked up to the door and opened for Hermione and we walked inside.
"Chiron?" I called.
"Percy is that you?" called the centaur.
Chiron walked into the room Hermione and I were in, "Hello Percy and Ms.?"
"Hermione, Hermione Granger. Its nice to meet you." said Hermione.
"Its a pleasure to meet you as well." said Chiron.
"Why are you back so early?" he asked.
"Well its winter break at hogwarts right now so they let you leave. Also I need any spare weapons you can give me. I need it for the others in Hogwarts just incase of monsters and for me to train them." I explained.
"I'll see what I can do."
"Chiron I nee-" came a familiar voice.
I turned around to see a girl with stormy gray eyes and curly blonde hair.'
"Annabeth." I breathed.
