Chapter One
I was in Og's mansion in my room when my friends showed up. "Hey, get this, Nolan Sorrento somehow escaped prison and now he's rebuilding what's left of IOI on Apokolips." Helen said. "They're gonna to deploy their army right now to take over the OASIS. He also has two GoldenEye satellites to disable enemy ships." "Damn. So what's our plan?" I asked. "We're gonna to launch two Anti-Matter Bombs to blow up the GoldenEyes." Samantha said. "The blast will be large enough to take out IOI's fleet." "Okay, let's get to work." I said. Nolan was not going to get away with this, no matter what.
Chapter Two
We arrived at Apokolips the next day. There were so many ships on our side even more than when we called everyone for help at the Battle of Castle Anorak. I guess everyone was horrified at the idea of IOI returning. I would not use Leopardon, my warship, or the X-wing. They were all very good but neither would offer much protection and firepower in the second-massive battle in the history of the OASIS. And it was going to be even more tougher with the GoldenEyes. I selected the Heroman mech from my inventory and placed it on the ground. After it grew to its full height, I climbed into the cockpit and flew out of my warship. Art3mis had the GunBuster mech. Aech had the Strike Freedom Gundam. Shoto had the Mazinkaiser SKL. "Nice ride." Art3mis said. "Thanks." I replied. "This is just mind-blowing. There's even more people than there were in the Battle of Chthonia." Aech said. "They're probably afraid of IOI taking over." Shoto said. "Then we'll bash the Sixers' face in." I said. The gunters must have been detected because the Sixer fleet fired at them with lasers, missiles, gunfire, and proton torpedoes. The gunter ships fired back and many ships exploded on both sides. I enlarged my Heroman mech before I grabbed two Sixer ships and smashed them together. Three Sixer ships flew at me but I short-circuited them with my electric blasts. "Shoto, how are we doing?" I asked. "The bombs are almost loaded." Shoto replied. Suddenly, streams of electricity fired from the two GoldenEyes, disabling every ship on both sides. The Sixers must have turned on the GoldenEyes and disabled us with EMP blasts. "My systems are down!" I said. "Does anyone copy?!" No one did. If the bombs didn't go off soon, we were in big trouble.
Chapter Three
As suddenly as the EMP blast started, it stopped. My Heroman mech came back online and I immediately turned on the thrusters to stop myself from falling. Art3mis, Aech, and Shoto regained control of their mechs, too. Then the two GoldenEyes exploded in two huge balls of fire. The bombs had worked. "Okay, we're back on, we gotta hit their ships now!" I said. Everyone resumed firing at the Sixer ships. Then I noticed the command ship. Sorrento was probably in there. If I took out his avatar, the Sixers would be completely lost. I zoomed toward Sorrento's ship. The USS Franklin fired all its phasers at me but I dodged them before I zoomed in and punched the USS Franklin right in it's center. The ship shuddered and shook before it collapsed in on itself and exploded. Sorrento had fled in an escape pod but I aimed and fired an electric blast at it, frying the pod into oblivion. I couldn't take much comfort in that because Sorrento was probably kicking one of his underlings from a haptic chair so he could take control of a new avatar. the Sixers must have been so shocked because they ceased firing at us. Our minutes were probably counting down and we wouldn't get another chance like this again. We fired at the Sixer armada with everything we had until almost every last one of their warships fell to the ground in ruins. Suddenly, the last Sixer warship's engines began to glow as it was ascending the upper atmosphere. Sorrento. "What do we do?" Aech asked. "He'll just respawn again if we kill him." "We can't let him take off!" I said. I fired and my shot struck the warship in the soft spot. Everyone cheered as it exploded except me. I was dreading to see another ship spawn when nothing happened. "What happened?" I asked. "Look at this, Og sent some government people and they pulled him right out of his haptic chair." Shoto said. I looked at the video clip he sent me and saw Sorrento being yanked out of IOI plaza and thrown into a police car. "Oh yes, oh yes!" Aech sang. "IOI is definitely not going to get away with this." Art3mis said. "They'll be charged for terrorism." "So that means no more headaches for us, yay!" Aech cheered. "Guys, I just wanna say great job everyone." I said, smiling. "Yeah, that was awesome!" Shoto said.
Chapter Four
I pulled off my VR visor and joined up with the others. "Well, that was the second most awesome battle in videogame history I have ever seen." Og said. "You did good out there. Halliday would have been proud." "I know he would, and thanks." I said. "So, what are we going to do now?" Samantha asked. "Why, rebuild the world, of course." Og said. "It's time we stop ignoring problems and start fixing them." "But the OASIS will still go on, right?" Helen asked. "Yes, it will." Og said, grinning. "What about Nolan Sorrento?" Aech asked. "Oh, we took care of him." Og said. By 'took care of him', Og meant Sorrento was charged for illegal tactics and terrorism and sentenced to life in prison. Which meant now headaches for us. And a big break. Things were looking good already.
