Chapter Thirty-Six: The Kiss

Bar watched Kory from across the gym. She had her jet black hair pulled into a high ponytail that bounced as she jogged.

"You're staring," grumbled his best friend next to him.

"So Kory's pretty," he gave her a Son grin. His friend shook his head at him and jogged away from him.

"So what do you think?" Cami asked after finishing her dramatic performance.

"I think your parents are not going to like you using your powers for a light show," Litta commented feeling a bit nervous. She was having her try out against Kira tomorrow, and she had to know all the moves perfectly to keep her part.

"They'll think it looks cool. I already show Papaw Vegeta, and he liked it," huffed Cami not liking her response. "Are you worried about tomorrow?"

"Yes… What if I mess up?" Litta plopped down to the ground.

"It's okay if you mess up. All you have to do is be better than Kira," she smirked.

Litta smiled. "When you put it like that it seemed a lot more do able."

Rini and Goten rushed into the middle school. They had received a call that Bardock was in a fight.

Once in the office, they found Bar hold a small bag of ice to his eye. "What were you thinking? You shouldn't be fighting," Rini scolded him.

"There must be some confusion," the principal announced approaching Goten and Rini. "Bardock was the victim," she explained.

Both Rini and Goten looked confused. "Someone hit me in the eye okay," he muttered avoiding eye contact with his parents.

"Some boy just hit you in the face?" Rini looked a little peeved. Bar kept avoiding eye contact.

"Bar?" Goten nudged his son's shoulder.

"Sam hit me for not paying attention," Bar answered still looking at the floor.

"Don't worry Sam got detention, and she'll be suspended if this type of thing happens again," the principal assured them.

"She?" Rini caught the pronoun. Bar was now blushing staring at the floor even more intently.

"Yes, Sam is short for Samantha," the principal headed back to her office. The secretary told them they could take Bar home if they wanted before leaving the family alone.

"Let me see the damage," Rini sat down next to Bar to move the bag of ice. It looked like he was going to have a bruise on the edge of his eye, but at least it wasn't a full blown black eye.

"She got you pretty good kiddo. She must be pretty strong," Goten observed looking at bruise.

"Apparently," mumbled Bar. Rini smiled. She wondered why Bardock seemed so embarrassed. She figured he might have a crush.

"Wanna talk about it?" Litta asked her little brother.

"No," grumbled Bar wishing everyone would stop asking him about it.

"Mom isn't going to let this drop until you talk to someone," Litta pointed out hoping he would open up to her.

"You have a point," he admitted.

"Good now spill," she ordered taking a seat beside him.

"Why would I want to talk to a girl about this?" whined Bardock still not wanting to talk to Litta.

"Because a girl hit you, so a girl could probably tell you why," explained Litta feeling slightly annoyed with her brother.

"True," he seemed to mull it over in his mind for a few minutes before getting up. "Tell Mom and Dad I am going to talk to someone," Bar headed for the door.

"Who?" Litta called after him. She was a little peeved he didn't want to talk to her.

xxXXxx

"Match set point to Miss Briefs. That is all for today," the instructor announced leaving everyone to pack up their things.

"Bye Cora see you later!" called a few other girls rushing off quickly.

"Cora," she turned surprised if it was who she thought it was.

"Bardock what are you doing here?" she asked giving her sort of cousin a quick hug.

"I wanted your advise about girls," Bar was slightly blushing.

"Okay, let me change and we can talk," she smiled. Bar nodded staying in the gym while she went to the locker room. Once back out, she found Maddox there with him.

"So you want to talk girls?" she asked. Bar blushed hard casting a glance at Maddox. "Maddox won't make fun of you. I'll beat him up if he even thinks about it," she assured him.

Maddox looked a little surprised putting the pieces together. "Let's go get milkshakes at the diner on campus. You two can talk, and no one will need to beat me up," he offered hoping it sounded good. Bar shrugged heading off with them.

At the diner, the all sat in a booth in the far back corner. "So do I get to hear what it is now?" Cora asked stealing the cherry off the top of Maddox's shake. He rolled his eyes before stealing half of her whip cream as revenge.

"A girl hit me at school today," Bar started his story.

"Is that what happened?" Maddox gestured to the mark near his eye. Bar nodded.

"Wow she must of hit you hard. What did you do?" Cora made a face. It took a decent amount of force to bruise even a quarter saiyan.

"I was staring at a girl," he continued.

"And she hit you for staring at her," Cora finished assuming she had guessed the ending.

"Yes No. I was staring at a different girl than the one that hit me," Bar sputtered trying to explain. Maddox snorted almost making his shake come out his nose.

Cora handed him a napkin. "Okay explain it exactly," she ordered trying to make sense of what had happened.

"I was staring at the girl I like Kory. She's really pretty, and then Sam just hit me," he grumbled stirring his shake.

Maddox rocked himself in his seat trying not to laugh. "Are you dating Sam?" Cora asked. She didn't keep very close track of Litta or Bardock, so she didn't know who they were dating or even if they were dating.

"No. She's a girl who is always hanging around with my group of friends. She's close friends with my friend Oliver," Bar looked annoyed. Maddox made a slight squeak trying to keep from blurting something out.

"Okay, and what are you needing advice about then?" Cora asked elbowing Maddox.

"Why did she hit me? I can't figure it out," Bar questioned looking very frustrated. He had obviously been stuck on that question.

"There are a few options. One and the most likely being that she likes you," Cora smirked knowing that option never crossed his mind.

"What? Why would she hit me if she liked me?" Bar was so confused.

"Cora hit me on several occasions," Maddox chimed in not being able to stand it any longer.

"She was probably mad at you for staring at the other girl," Cora attempted to explain.

"She's gotten on to me before about it. She says only creeps stare," Bar admitted.

"Well when you say it that way I am sure she hit you cause she was mad. The question is just why was she mad? She could be mad at you for being disrespectful to women or because you were looking at another girl," Cora elaborated.

"Or she may have a crush on that Kory girl too, and she didn't what you staring at her girl," Maddox snickered earning himself another elbow.

"Maybe… Thanks for all your help," he hopped out of the booth giving his sort of cousin a quick hug before zipping off.

"You were not helpful by the way," Cora scolded her boyfriend.

"I'm sorry. He's just… I don't know. He seems to have his mom's personality, but he's just as oblivious as Goten," Maddox laughed. Cora rolled her eyes giving him a slap on the back of the head then a quick kiss on the cheek.

Bar smiled heading down the hallway of Capsule Corp. He stopped just outside of Henry's office.

"Henry, why didn't you ever call me for a second date?" a woman asked in a soft pouting voice.

"I've been very busy with work Saya," Henry replied. Bardock peeked in to see what was going on. A gorgeous woman was dressed in a short low cut dress was desperately trying to get Henry's attention while he typed away on his computer.

"We could get dinner my treat," she offered looking hopeful.

Henry quickly crushed those hopes. "I've got to finish this up for a board meeting, plus I have someone outside waiting to meet with me."

"Another time then?" she offered.

"Possibly," Henry replied giving her little attention.

She walked around the desk to stand behind him. Saya ran her hands over his shoulder and chest ghosting her lips over his neck before settling on kissing his cheek. "Call me," she whispered before leaving his office.

"It's not polite to lurk in doorways," Henry smiled waiting for Bar to say something.

"That was awesome!" Bar nearly yelled darting into his office.

"What was awesome?" Henry was a little confused.

"That girl. She was practically throwing herself at you. How do I get girls to do that," Bar gestured to the doorway the woman had left through.

"It's not something you want. Attention from girls you're not interested in can lead to trouble… Who gave you the bruise?" Henry asked hoping to change the subject.

"Well that's what I wanted to talk to you about. You've had lots of girlfriends right?" Bardock tried to clarify before he bothered with the whole story.

"I suppose," Henry waited for the story to decide whether he should be offended or not.

"This girl Sam hit me because I was looking at this other girl Kory, and Cora said it could be because Sam has a crush on me," Bar tried explaining it as quickly as possible.

"Alright, what did you want advice on?" Henry was a little surprised to hear that he had already talked to Cora.

"Who do I go for? I mean you've had to pick before. How do you choose?" Bar looked sincere in seeking advice, which was the only thing that keep Henry from rolling his eyes and leaving him.

"Yes, but you're assuming they both want you. Never assume… Who do you like?" Henry proceeded with the odd guy talk they were having.

"I like Kory, but Sam's cute too. I just didn't know she liked me," Bar rambled on.

"What do you like about them?" Henry was seeing this was going to take a little more prodding.

"Kory is pretty and popular. Everything she does is perfect. Sam is cute. She kind of rude, sort of my friend," Bar shrugged trying to explain the girls.

Henry smirked. He had a feeling he knew where this was going. "Have you ever really talked or spent any time with Kory?"

"I have classes with her," Bar answered. Henry gave him a look. "Okay I've never had a full blown conversation with her," he admitted.

"Then maybe you should. Also you may want to talk to Sam. Friends, even girl ones, don't tend to hit without some reason," Henry explained hoping Bardock would understand.

"I guess that makes sense… I should get going. I've probably already missed dinner," Bar commented looking at the time.

"Want to grab food with me? I haven't eaten since breakfast, and I'm starving," Henry offered. Bar grinned nodded heading out of the office with Henry.

xxXXxx

"Where is Bar?" asked Litta looking annoyed. She had planned on forcing him to help her practice her part for the play.

"He's grabbing dinner with Henry," Goten informed her. Litta dropped her script.

"Why?" she demanded trying to hide the fact she was jealous of her little brother.

"He was wanting girl advice," Goten replied not noticing her jealousy.

"Why couldn't he just talk to you?" she whined.

"Bardock said you told him to find someone he felt like he could talk to, apparently to him that meant Henry," Rini chimed in joining the two in the living room.

xxXXxx

"It looks like Miss Son will be keeping her role," announced the instructor leaving Litta and her friends to bounce excitedly. Kira glared at them irritated she wasn't able to show up the young sophomore.

"Now we just have to make it through a couple dress rehearsals and we are home free," Cami grinned a Son grin as they all continued on about their parts and costumes.

xxXXxx

"Hi," Bar waved at Kory as he moved to sit down next to her on the bleachers.

"Hi," she smiled. She was wearing her hair down today and a heavy layer of lip gloss.

"You're Kory right?" he asked trying to dive into a deeper conversation.

"Yep, and you're Bart?" she smiled thinking she got it right.

"Bar actually," he smiled at least she sort of knew who he was.

"Shoot," she hissed obliviously bothered she had gotten his name wrong.

"It's fine. I have you in some of my classes, but I don't think I 've really ever talked to you," Bar tried to get the conversation going.

"Huh, I guess we haven't talked before. We must run in different circle," she giggled before getting up and walking off.

Bar made a face and walked over to his usual seat with his friends. His friend group was mostly guys.

"Did you just talk to Kory?" his friend Oliver asked.

"Yeah," he shrugged enjoying how most of his friends were acting like he was a hot shot.

"How did she smell?" one of the boys asked. Before Bar could even think to answer Sam joined the guys in the bleachers. "Sam's back. You had better be careful before she gives you another black eye," snickered one of his friends in a hushed voice. Oliver rolled his eyes moving to sit with Sam.

"Shut up, it's not a real black eye," Bar croaked back loudly. "Can we go back to talking about Kory."

All of the boys besides Oliver began talking about the girl that was known for being the prettiest in their grade. Sam stared at Bar for a moment before stomping out of the gym. "Shit," muttered Bar dropping his bag to go after her. He caught up to her in the hall. "Sam wait," he grabbed her hand.

"What, want to gripe at me for your eye or make an ass of yourself going on about Kory?" she snapped yanking her hand away. She looked ready to hit someone.

"No, no," he stammered wondering how she was still mad at him after already punching him.

"You were being so stupid, and you just keep uggh," she grumbled loudly obliviously becoming agitated.

"Oh, well that's what I was going to ask," he glanced at the floor a little disappointed that neither girl seemed at all interested in him.

"What is what you were going to ask?" she stared at him as though he was speaking another language.

"Why you hit me, but you just said cause I was being stupid," he blushed still avoiding making eye contact.

"Yeah, why else would I have hit you?" she asked glaring at him.

"Well my cousin said it was either because you liked me, or because I did something dumb, or possibly both," Bardock admitted.

Sam rolled her eyes. "Yes it is definitely one of those reasons." She pushed past him quickly making sure to shoulder check him as she went by. Bardock groaned. All this worrying and he still had no girlfriend.

xxXXxx

Henry strolled through his grandparents' kitchen toward the living room Shadow was riding on his shoulder. He found his aunt going through a mountain of dresses there. "What's up?" Henry picked up an over the top dress and raised an eyebrow.

"There is a gala coming up, and I will be a featured designer," Bra grinned.

"Cool," Henry smiled then he noticed a certain five year pouting on the floor. "What's the mater Veggie?" Henry moved to sit down with his little cousin. The little boy gave a grunt, but mostly ignored him.

"He's upset that Ivar is still away for work. He had promised to train with him," Bra explained leaning over to ruffle her pouting son's gravity defying hair.

"If you want, I could train with you," offered Henry. Shadow walked down his arm from his shoulder to cuddle Veggie. The little boy had trouble holding back a smile as the cat rubbed up against him.

"You really wanna train with me?" he asked now petting the small black cat.

"Sure, just let me go change. You can watch Shadow for a few minutes right?" he asked watching the cat love on his little cousin.

"Yeah," he smiled. Shadow was now purring loudly.

Henry grinned rushing off to change into his gi.

xxXXxx

"Are you sure she can fix it?" Goten called after Cami as she ran toward Capsule Corp carrying her Elsa dress.

"Bra can fix anything," Litta answered as they followed.

Once inside they quickly found Bra sorting through formal dresses. "Aunt Bra I need your help," Cami was trying not to be upset as she handed her aunt the dress.

"What happened?" Bra asked trying to see what was wrong with the dress. The shawl seemed to have a few little burn marks in it.

"I wasn't paying attention and I messed up the dress," Cami admitted leaving out the specifics.

"I can fix it no problem. So how did you get stuck on dress duty?" Bra asked Goten already leading the way to her workshop.

"I picked up the girls from practice today since Rini is having Mommy and me time with Bar," he explained. Bra laughed at the idea that the preteen was still having mommy-bonding time.

Litta was the only one who didn't follow after Bra. She could sense training outside, and one of the individuals she couldn't pass up getting to see. Once outside, she found Henry training with Veggie. They were moving fast, but Henry was obviously taking it very easy on the little boy.

"What are you two doing?" called Litta wanting to get Henry's attention. He must have been too focused on the sparring with Veggie because he was startled by her question. Veggie landed a hard hit to his gut during this opening. It knocked the wind out of him causing him to fall back to the ground.

"Lucky shot," grumbled Henry making no motion to get up. Veggie gave a huff annoyed Henry was staying down.

Litta giggled moving to stand over Henry. "You shouldn't have let your guard down," she told him offering a hand to help him up.

"Veggie, you must be getting strong buddy. Even I have trouble knocking the wind out of Henry," Goten stated moving to ruffle the little boy's hair.

Goten's sudden appearance startled Litta to the point she let go of Henry causing him to fall back to the ground.

"What are you guys doing here?" asked Henry once again giving up on getting to his feet.

"I picked the girls up from school, and Cami was having a dress emergency. So we came to see someone's mom," Goten smirked again messing with the boy's hair.

"Did Bardock come too?" Veggie asked after batting the man's hand away.

"No, he's with Rini this afternoon. You should come by the dojo sometime and spar with him," Goten knew Veggie loved to spar with Bardock.

Henry looked like he was thinking for a moment before a large grin spread across his face. " You start driving soon, don't you?" he asked glancing toward Litta.

"I get my permit next month," she replied grinning.

"Then you will just have to find someone willing to ride with you," Goten gave Henry a smile.

"No way, if I ride with Litty, I'll have to ride with Cami!" he yelped.

"I am sure she won't be that bad," Goten attempted to defend Cami. Litta gave her father a look of disagreement. "Or maybe she will be," he retracted his earlier comment.

"Litta does your dress need anything?" called Bra leaning outside.

"No, mine is good," Litta called back. Cami came out in her already repaired dress.

"Wow that was fast," Goten seemed surprised. Bra must be very good at what she does.

"I just replaced that one piece of fabric," Bra pointed toward one piece of fabric that now looked a bit nicer than the rest.

"Looks good sis, too bad I don't get to see what silly dress you'll be wearing," Henry snickered at his sister before moving on to Litta.

"You have to came to the play to see," Litta snorted back.

"Henry you could come by to one of our dress rehearsals. We have three more of them!" Cami offered doing a little twirl in her restored dress. Litta groaned inwardly. What if Henry took her up on that.

"We'll see," Henry shrugged seeming disinterested.

"Mommy can I go to the dojo to train with Bardock sometime?" Veggie rushed to his mother looking extra excited.

"Sure," she conceded with no fight. Anything that kept him from spending one hundred percent of his time with Vegeta couldn't be a bad idea.

xxXXxx

Henry rolled his eyes looking over the text from his little sister. She sent him all the dress rehearsal times for the play. He toyed with the idea of going. Cami did mention wanting him there for some reason.

xxXXxx

"Who are you even texting?" asked Litta feeling slightly annoyed by Cami being glued to her phone.

"Henry. I was sending him our rehearsal times," Cami answered putting her phone away.

Litta froze feeling herself panic a little. Did he really want to laugh at her in that stupid outfit that bad? Cami was busy digging through her purse to notice. "Did he ask for the times?" Litta managed to squeak out.

"No, but I want a second opinion about whether my ki bombs are too much," Cami explained herself. Litta had already voiced her opinion on the subject.

xxXXxx

Ayumi sat in Henry's office watching him be completely distracted.
"Henry what's going on with you? You seem so unfocused," She asked pulling the pen from his hand.

"My sister asked me to come to her dress rehearsal, and I'm trying to decide whether or not to go," he shrugged.

"I see, would your little sister's best friend also be at this event?" Ayumi smirked already having a pretty good idea of what had her best friend so tightly wound.

"Yeah, Litta will be there too, why?" he raised an eyebrow.

"Quit acting like you're oblivious to your own crush," she scolded him.

"I, I" he started to make an excuse until he saw the sternness of her expression. "Okay fine, but it's inappropriate," he conceded.

"The heart wants what the heart wants, plus it would be a problem if she didn't feel the same," she snickered.

"Exactly, she doesn't feel the same way," Henry groaned putting his head down on the desk.

"Oh yes she does!" she nearly yelled.

"Wanna bet?" Henry glared at her.

"Oh you're on," she extended her hand to shake on it.

xxXXxx

The girls had dinner at Capsule Corp before heading back to the school to do their last evening rehearsal before the show opened the next day. Much to Litta's relief, Henry had not come to any of the rehearsals.

"Cami, I want you to run through Let it go for me," directed Ms Ritz.

Cami nodded. She grabbed Litta's arm pulling her back stage. "Here you be the one to throw the tiara. Kira is a terrible throw," she instructed shoving a plastic tiara into her hand before taking the stage.

Litta sighed at least she was the only one in the back stage area.

"Hey," someone tapped her shoulder causing her jump.

"Henry?" she was shocked to see him still in his suit from work.

"Yeah… Is she using ki bombs for special effects?" he rolled his eyes watching his little sister be irresponsible.

"Yep, I told her it was too over the top," Litta confirmed.

"So which one's your lover boy?" he asked pointing to the boys waiting off to side.

"Shut up, I don't have a crush on any of them," she growled under her breath.

"But you do have a crush?" he asked invading her personal space.

"Maybe," she stuttered.

"Anyone I know?" he leaned closer, their faces becoming even closer.

"You could say that," she gulped. Henry's smile grew even wider. He could hear her heart beat speeding up.

"What would your crush think if I did this?" he leaned down and kissed her lips for a brief moment. Her eyes were wide with shock.

"I, I, Oh shit," Litta ran to the side of the stage and tossed the tiara to Cami.

"So are you going to say something?" Henry asked trying not to show how nervous he was.

Litta glared at him. She started slapping at his chest. "How dare you do that! You found out I like you, and you decided to tease me," she snapped at him.

"You do like me?" he was grinning a mile wide as she wacked his chest.

"You didn't know," she whispered wanting to run away after admitting her secret crush. He grabbed her arm before she could actually get away pulling her into a passionate kiss. Litta felt herself melt at his touch. She never imagined it would feel this good.

"Litta?" Cami called her. She could sense her friend heading this way. She quickly shoved Henry hard causing him to fall into the costume rack. "I thought I sensed Henry back here?" she looked around for her big brother.

"I'm here. I just managed to trip into this rack," Henry grumbled getting out of the rack. Litta stared at him wondering if he would mention the kiss.

"Well what did you think?" Cami tackled him in a hug as she waited for his answer.

"You look awesome and will likely be grounded after Mom and Dad see the show," he laughed.

"I'm not using that much energy," she stomped her foot and gave him a pout.

"That was how you messed up your dress isn't it," he chuckled. She gave his arm a punch.

"You're Henry Briefs," Kira squealed pushing Litta out of the way to rush up to him.

"Yeah, you are?" he asked politely.

"I'm Kira. I'm very talented. You have to come see me perform tomorrow night," she batted her eyelashes.

"Well I'll be here, but I am coming to see Cami and Litta," he smiled knowing too well how these types of girls were.

"You are such a thoughtful brother," she laid a hand on his shoulder.

"Thanks, I'll see you two tomorrow night," he told Litta and Cami as he pulled away from her grasp and quickly vacated the area. Litta stared after him completely confused. What had just happened? Had she imagined it? Was Henry interested in her? She was so confused and far too mortified to ask anyone. She would just wait and see. If he never mentioned it again, fine.

xxXXxx

"Uh Ms Nattak, Mr Briefs is here," her assistant stammered confused as Henry pushed past her carrying coffee and a vase of flowers. He was whistling a happy tune.

"I'll handle it," she eyed her friend suspiciously. He rarely ever dropped in on her at her office. Her assistant closed the door as she left. "You going to tell me what all this is about?" she asked as he handed her a coffee and sat the flowers on her desk.

"You were right," he was grinning a mile wide.

"Do I get to know what about?" she returned to her seat behind the desk while Henry perched himself on the edge of her desk.

"She likes me," he answered simply.

"So are you two dating now?" she asked taking a sip of the coffee now that she was caught up.

"Uh… I don't know," he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Okay fill me in," she ordered setting the coffee down.

After a full recap, Ayumi had a hand to her forehead with her eyes closed. Henry was a genius but still a moron.

"You realize you need to talk to her… Hell if she thought you were playing a joke, I'm surprised you haven't received a visit from her father," she knew she would likely have to walk him through it.

Henry's eyes went wide, "Do you really think she told someone?"

"Since no one has called you or hunted you down, I'm guessing no, but if you don't talk to her soon, she might," She went on throwing the now empty coffee cup into the trash.

"I guess I should talk to her tonight," he grumbled after having his good news ruined by details he had managed to over look. He had though through so many others how did he miss this obvious one.

xxXXxx

The show finished. They took their bows. The shouts of their family were easy to identify through the crowd. As everyone filed out, Cami and Litta were charged by their family. Cora hugged them both while Maddox gave them a warm smile. Henry was next. He had flowers. Litta felt like her heart was going to stop.

"I brought each lovely lady a rose," he handed a single rose to each of them. Litta managed to hide her disappointment.

"And we brought the stars something," Trunks chimed in with a charming smile. He handed Cami a huge bouquet of roses. Goten did the same to Litta.

"Thanks Dad," Litta smiled. She did love her father.

"Thank you Daddy!" Cami floated a touch as she gave her father a kiss on the cheek.

"Don't think you are getting away with all that blatant power use," Trunks chuckled knowing Cami likely hoped he didn't notice.

"The girl shows monumental control," snorted Vegeta.

"Powers are not to be used a stage magic," Gohan agreed with Trunks.

"Come on, everyone at the tournament always thought it was magic," snickered Videl wrapping herself around her husband's arm.

"We can talk about that later. We have dinner plans," Pan reminded them.

xxXXxx

Litta sighed staring at herself in the bathroom mirror. She was almost staring to think she had imagined the whole incident with Henry. Oh well she was heading to bed. She was already changed into her pajamas. She closed the door to her bedroom before letting out a small scream of surprise. Henry was lying on her bed.

"What are you doing?" she demanded in a hushed whisper.

"Waiting on you," he answered smugly.

"You need to get out of here. My dad had to of heard me yell," she tried to pull him off her bed.

"He didn't," Henry wore a proud smirk.

"Well I bet he can sense that you're in here," she snapped at him still working to move him toward the window.

"That would be another no," he was now wearing a full-blown grin.

Litta glared at him. "How are you so sure?"

"Cause this," he tapped his watch.

"It's eleven o'clock Henry. My dad's not that old," she rolled her eyes.

"No, my watch hides my ki signature," he explain still lounging on her bed.

"And won't someone notice that your ki is gone?" she asked giving up and taking a seat on the bed.

"Check for yourself," he looked smug.

Litta focused for a minute before looking confused. "It feels like you are walking around your apartment… did you set up something to fake your signal that moves every so often?" she asked thinking she got it.

"Nope, I made an energy tag matching my own and attached it to Shadow's collar," he replied grinning extra wide.

"Is it fair to include her in your schemes," Litta giggled. It was starting to feel like most times they talked instead of them having some secret meeting in her bedroom. Suddenly she looked down mortified at her pajamas. She grabbed the blanket off the bed to cover herself. Henry ended up on the floor after having the blanket pulled out from under him.

He glared at her before snickering, "I've seen you in pajamas before."

"Yeah, but now it's weird," muttered Litta looking away blushing.

"I guess it is… Well only if you want it to be," he gulped hoping she understood what he was getting at.

"And if I want it to be?" Litta asked wrapping her herself into a blanket burrito to avoid facing him.

"Well if you wanted, you could be my girlfriend," offered Henry smiling at the idea of the girl hiding being his girlfriend.

"Were Werarted," the blanket mumbled.

"I didn't catch that," Henry waited for her to repeat herself.

"We are related," she stated barely poking her face out.

"Not by that much," he countered back. She mumbled something he couldn't make out. "You know for Saiyans it doesn't matter. There was a chance that my dad would have gone after my aunt when he was in heat," Henry informed her.

"Hmm, instead he just went after his best friend's niece," Litta giggled again thinking about how her father was his great uncle.

"Went after is a little strong… It was more like our situation the other night," Henry mused. He knew it was mutual between his parents even though the circumstances made it look bad.

"If you got me pregnant the other night, I will be very upset," she told him sarcastically.

"You're not funny. I meant more of the like each other but never told because it is inappropriate… Then we just sort of figured it out," He finally moved back to sitting on the bed.

"So you do think it's inappropriate?" her face poked out again this time she was making eye contact.

"Yes, for multiple reasons, but my feelings haven't changed," he was honest with her.

"So you've liked me for a while?" she blushed scooting closer to him.

"Yeah, I've had feelings for you for some time," he smiled scooting himself closer to her. "You?"

"I've had a crush on you since I was little," she admitted.

"You still are little," he teased sliding his arm around her.

"So are we dating?" she asked feeling a little braver.

"I really hope so," he tugged her into a kiss.

"Hi I'm here to pick up Camisole Briefs and Litta Son," Henry smiled at the office receptionist. She smiled wide remembering him from when he attended Orange Star.

"You are on their pick up list?" she started opening their files on the computer. Henry felt slightly nervous. He was sure he was on Cami's, but he wasn't sure on Litta's. "There you are. I'll call them down," she confirmed finding his name listed.

Moments later the two girls were in the office.

"Henry what are you doing here?" Cami asked bouncing to give him a hug.

"I came to take you two out to lunch," he steered them out to his car.

"I call shotgun," Cami rushed around the car. Henry and Litta did their best to hide their smiles as he folded the seat forward to let her in the backseat.

Litta messaged Henry annoyed pacing her bedroom.

"I'm here. What's wrong?" Henry asked looking at his phone once he crawled through her window.

"At some point my parents are going to hear you," she huffed flopping onto the bed.

"No they won't," Henry stated kicking off his shoes.

"How are you so sure on that?" Litta asked raising an eyebrow.

"I might have added a new soundproofing substance to your paint," he studied the wall to avoid making eye contact.

"That's why you opened and stirred the paint… Okay that one is a little creepy. What if I hadn't been interested in dating you?"

"Then I would have just been testing a new capsule corp product," Henry sat next to her on the bed.

"I don't know it sounds a little rapey to me," she giggled giving him a shove.

"Hey, I would never hurt you," he assured grabbing her hand.

"How often are you planning to take us to lunch?" she changed the subject a blush coming to her cheeks.

"Not sure, I think I could every week or two and no one would notice," he mused moving to wrap his arm around her.

"We could do other stuff together too," Litta offered. Henry's eyes went wide for a second his face flushing. "Oh god not that stuff… I meant like activities in public… We could try that kind of stuff too though," Litta's face was crimson when she realized what her proposal may have sounded like.

"We've only been dating a week. We can take that stuff slow. What activities were you thinking?" he pulled her close to kiss her temple.

"Well my dad was mentioning driving lessons next month," she smiled knowing he would hate the idea.

He groaned, "You are lucky I like you."

Please Review, it means a lot to me.
