Chapter 2: A Hike in Monroeville Park

The next day, some of my other best friends Alex Russo, Justin Evans, and Max Greenwald met me, Sarah, James, and Henri at their apartment in Penn Hills. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. First, we all sat down to an outdoor breakfast with pancakes, bacon, and other good stuff. "Did you still want to take a hike in Monroeville Park today, Alex?" Sarah asked. "Of course I do, Sarah," Alex replied. "After all, it is important to get some exercise outdoors if we can due to the coronavirus!" "Our goal is to work on fitness if we can," Sarah pointed out. "I am sorry if I didn't like gym class back in middle school, because I realized how important my physical health is." "Did I mention that I still need to lose weight?" I asked my friends. "Well, I personally think that you should stop drinking all that Diet Coke," Alex told me. "It's not very good for you. Drink water because it is better!" "How are you dealing with the coronavirus, Justin?" James asked. "It's still very sad, James," Justin replied, "but health and safety is always the most important!" "I don't know about you, Max, but I am having a severe craving for chocolate," Henri stated. "Chocolate is not a very healthy choice for a snack, Henri," Max pointed out. "Of course, to maintain social distancing, we need to do more outdoor things if possible," I stated. "I also haven't been making any new music due to the coronavirus, and public gatherings like concerts are banned." "Well, your first concert at Hiram G. Andrews Center was a lot of fun," Alex remembered. "I really miss you making great music like that." "Well, that doesn't mean we still can't listen to good music," Sarah pointed out. "That's true," Alex agreed. Then, we drove up to Monroeville Park for our hike. I packed crackers and a water for the hike. Once we turned around, I had a severe bathroom accident. "Are you okay, Angel?" Sarah asked me. "I'm sorry, but I just couldn't hold it!" I cried really loud. "I feel so terrible that I forgot to use the bathroom! I wish that you guys didn't have to wait so long to check in with Alex and her guy friends!" "Well, you were asleep, Angel," Sarah pointed out. "I probably was asleep, too," Alex agreed. "You know how I have trouble sleeping at night most of the time." We then immediately headed back to Sarah, James, and Henri's apartment in Penn Hills. "Thanks for a great day, anyway!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Bye, guys!" "Bye!"
