Chapter 4: Learning to Have Fun

The next day, I met up with Sarah, James, and Henri, as well as some of my other best friends Alex Russo, Justin Evans, and Max Greenwald at their house in Squirrel Hill. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. "How would you guys like to have a Sunday Fun-Day today?" James asked. "Sure, that would be fun," Henri stated. "What all are we going to do this afternoon?" "Well, we are going to play Guess that Scent!, the Food Face-Off, Who's Got Talent?, and the Candybar Race," James explained. "For lunch, we will eat pizza with the works from Pizza Care, as well as Pac-Man Cake for dessert and Fruity Dippers for health nuts," Sarah added. "I am looking forward to the Food Face-Off," Alex explained. "How do you play, Sarah?" "I am glad that you asked, Alex," Sarah replied. "This was from Rachel Luster's Food Fest Sleepover back in June, and Rachel and her friends decided to make salads and hoagies with ingredients given." "That sounds pretty healthy," Alex remarked. "I will then have some Fruity Dippers for dessert!" "James, what is Guess that Scent?" Justin asked. "It is my favorite game from Isabella Black's Spa Night Sleepover back in February, Justin," James explained. "You have to close your eyes and identify as many scents as you can from paper bags!" "I'm excited to eat Pac-Man Cake, Max," Henri stated, licking his lips. "Just be sure not to eat it all this time, Henri," Max reminded. "Besides being homeschooled at my support group, I also learned everyday tasks like chores and manners," Henri explained. This all lead up to a discussion group on what we have learned over the summer. After the discussion group was over, we decided to play some more games, including Taste the Rainbow Race, Songwriting Competition, Air Guitar Contest, Back to the Future, Glow-In-the-Dark Makeovers, and Who Knew? Instead of ordering Pastoli's Pizza, like we originally planned to do, we wanted to make our own original pizzas and have beverages in fashionable cups and Kitty Litter Cake for dessert. "I see that you girls are dressed up and both look very nice," I told Sarah and Alex. "You're dressed nicely, too, Angel," Sarah remarked. "I remember that was your graduation dress and shoes, Alex," I happily told Alex. "Yes, they were, Angel," Alex agreed. "I can't believe that was 9 years ago on Tuesday," I stated. "Tuesday will mark 9 years since you graduated high school." Sarah also had on a pretty black and white dress that I have never seen before. "Is that a new dress, Sarah?" I asked. "No, I have had it since last year," Sarah explained. After Sunday Fun-Day was over, Sarah, James, and Henri drove me back to my mom's apartment in Highland Park. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Bye, guys!" "Bye!"
