Deep in the netherworld lays the nether-keep; a dark stronghold where the last flickering flame of evil stalks its dry, dark hallways. In a very poorly lit room, a door opens and in comes a brown-grey skinned creature with yellow eyes. The very short, very wrinkly, and very old creature was clothed in a badly flaying brown robe that has several holes in it. While it was illuminated by a crystal that was tied as to dangle off a stick that was attached to the creatures hunched back to light it's way. As the creature despite how very tired it looked and (presumably) felt it approached a crudely carved stone scribe desk with a book and stationery atop and awaiting use. All this while a wooden and questionably stable chair sat next to the stone scribe desk. The creature took its place on the chair and upon sitting on it caused it to let out a very audible squeak.

The creature then took hold of the writing quill and wrote as it spoke in an old, dusty and gravelly voice, "once for a time, there were four champions of darkness who were resurrected to command the forces of evil; but now they are dead once more. After the death of the last champion of darkness the forces light and justice lunched an all-out offensive and drove back the forces of evil. The forces of evil were driven back to the old land and into hiding. However, the forces of good began to systematically hunt and slaughter the remaining forces of evil and darkness. Of all the creatures of evil and darkness us minions held out the longest even as we tried to (gagging while saying and spelling the word) save as many of the other creatures of darkness as we possibly could.

Again, however, this action was planned for and once the forces of good and justice confirmed that all creatures of evil and darkness were within the halls of the nether-keep; they dug down into the ground and launched an all-out siege on the last bastion of darkness and once they broke through the nether-keeps defenses inside its interior anything that was connected to darkness, evil, or even simple immorality were killed to the last. Now it's only me; alone, old minion to reignite the dark flames of evil, but how? My strength has waned over the decades ever since the forces of good laid siege to the nether-keep and butchered the forces of evil and darkness. Yet still they call us monsters for everything that we've done in the past, ha, the hypocrites.

After the fighting died down the forces of good looted anything that wasn't built into the nether-keep; and I mean anything. They looted and broke up the Overlord Pillars, the Dark Spell-stones, the Smelters, the Molds, the true Minion Hives, the Dark Construction Crane, the Iron Maiden, the Tower Heart of all things, and so much more looted after the siege. Yet the forces of good kept on looting until there was nothing left that was worth looting. Afterwards the forces of good casted sanctified shields on the things that would be too difficult to move, and just to add insult to injury they built blessed barricades against the areas that could still be used by any surviving evil creatures. (sigh) If only we had a proper overlord or some other grand source of true evil at the time.

(Suddenly covers mouth with freehand and heavy, disgusting coughing is heard) Now, my vitality is failing. (looks to hand to see splattering's of dark crimson on palm) It seems as though the forces of good have finally achieved their greatest, most sought after victory over the forces of evil. The death of every evil and dark oriented creature that exists both alive and undead. (toothy, evil smile even though there is crimson on the teeth) However, the forces of good appear to have seemingly forgotten one key detail that they appear to have forgotten about. (leans into the paper and gives a dark, evil chuckle) Evil always finds away.

Now with its writings done the creature leaves the stone scribe's desk and proceeds to move over to a dresser drawer that is filled with scraps of ragged cloth. The creature climbs into the drawer and rests only to wake when a new, powerful, and evil will arise in the world now bereft of any source of evil.
