Bruce POV

Steve and I walked into one of the spare bedrooms.

Steve puts the girl down on the bed as I took some blood from her to do tests on.

She was still flinching a little. I had her take some painkillers while she was half asleep.

After a while, she stops flinching as I sighed in relief and started I to fix up all her minor injuries with the help of Steve. She didn't have many but she had a lot of scars.

I couldn't do much with her unconscious so I went and got and heart monitor and iv drip from the lab and we set them up.

"JAVIS let us know if anything changes," I asked as Steve and I leave the room and walk down the hallway.

"will do sir" JAVIS responded.

"Do you know when she might wake up?" Steve asks

"Hopefully soon," I say as we reach the conference room.

We walk into the room to see the rest of the Avengers and Director Fury all sitting around a roundtable.

"Finally you're here," said Tony looking bored. "Now, what did you find at the Hydra base," said Fury making a start.

Natasha type into a computer and brings up a file that said Project Illuminate.

"We found a project that they've been working on called project illuminate" the screen changed to information about project illuminate.

"It says that the purpose of this project is to make illusions become reality, making them stay that way for long periods of time.

they will do this by pushing the abilities if subject LYNA to their full extent.

We also found some information about the girl we brought back with us. Her name is Lyna mist, she is 13 years old and has brown hair and eyes. Her known powers are making illusions and summoning animals.

we believe that Lyna is subject Lyna and is related to project Illuminate" Natasha says as the screen changes to Lyna's profile.

"so Lyna is related to Project Illuminate?" asked Steve looking around the table.

"yes," said Natasha.

"So, what do we do?" Clint said joining the conversation, everyone looked at Fury waiting for orders.

"it's easy, isn't it? we keep Lyna here, protect her from HYDRA, their plan of world domination goes, by by" says Tony waving as he says by by.

"We will wait till she wakes up and see if she knows anything that can help us about project Illuminate," said, Furry.

Wolf POV:

I hear Lyna calling me and quickly teleport to her location.

I appeared in a bedroom. Looking around I saw Lyna sleeping on a bed hooked up to a heart monitor and IV.

I felt a bit strange that this wasn't the training room at Hydra or a Hydra cell

Jumping onto the large bed I walked up to Lyna. looking at her face I see that she was sweeting a little and looked worried. I nudged her shoulder with my snout trying to wake her up but it didn't work.

'Lyna' I said softly through our mind link she moves a little but doesn't wake up I was about to say it again when the door opens.

I looked up at the door to see 3 people walk in.

'Hydra, they're going to hurt Lyna' I thought and let out a low growl.

"is that a wolf? how'd a wolf get into my tower? do you know how much dirt-" the first guy says

"Tony" the girl gave this Tony? a death glare as I let out another low growl

"Hey it's ok, we're not going to hurt you," the girl says. She has orange hair and is wearing some kind of uniform, I quickly look back at Lyna to see that she is sweating more, they must have noticed because Tony says.

"We're not going to hurt her either" I don't let my guard down for a second 'wolf' Lyna says weakly through our link I let my guard down a little.

'Lyna, are you ok?' I said to her I think she goes back to sleep because I don't get an answer, I growl again.

"It's ok we are not Hydra," Another man says this one has glasses and a lab coat on, 'yeah right' I thought as I jump off the bed and growl at all three of them.

"Hey, we just came in here to cheek on Lyna," the one with the glass says stepping forward. I keep growling this time showing my teeth.

'maybe it's a lie but I'm not sure, I've never seen them before, maybe they're telling the truth or maybe they're trying to poison her' I thought confused.

"How about we come back later," the girl says heading towards the door with the two men.

The door shuts and the room is dark again, I jumped on the bed and laid next to Lyna's arm. soon I falling asleep.

Natasha Pov

Tony, Bruce and I all walked back to the conference room.

"Did you see that wolf was so protective?" Tony said as we all sat back down.

"Every second," said Fury as the computer screen was now showing the scarcity camera in Lyna's room

"dismissed," Fury said as everyone went out of the room.

Lyna Pov (3 hours later: meaning that she is having this dream 3 hours later)

(Lyna's dream)

I'm running down the corridor after Wolf When I saw a door coming up. "Wolf, slow down whatever it is we can figure it out!" I yelled hoping he would hear me and slow down but didn't he kept running faster, he looked back at me quickly and I saw that his eyes were red.

He went through the door like a ghost as I did the same, I stopped at the sight puzzled. There were hundreds of children of all ages just standing there.

Then I saw Wolf howling and other wolfs started running with him.

they going up and ripping off the heads of children. the children did nothing but stand there.

I try running but it feels like I could be running for miles and wouldn't get any close. so I stop running and bring my hands up to my mouth in shock.

'Wolf, stop, please stop' I say using the link but it wasn't working, all I could do was watch as tears roll down my cheeks.

Wolf POV

I was asleep when I heard Lyna say 'Wolf, stop, please stop' I opened my eyes and look at Lyna. I saw sweat running down her face.

I stood up and moved closer licking her check.

'Lyna, Lyna wake up its just a dream' I say softly but she doesn't wake up. I nudge her shoulder. 'Lyna, it's just a dream' I say her eyes snap open as she bolts up breathing heavily.

Lyna POV

I bolted up straight, breathing heavily as I saw Wolf sitting next to me. 'Lyna? Are you ok?' he asked tears start rolling down my checks.

I take deep breathes and wrapped my arms around him

'oh wolf, you wouldn't know how happy I am to see you' I said still hugging him.

After I had calmed down I let go of Wolf and looked around the room. Memories come flooding back to me.

'do you know where we are, the last thing I remember is being in the science labs ' I said to Wolf

'I don't know, you were here when I came. People came in a bit later to check on you. They said that they didn't want to hurt you or me,

they also said that there not from Hydra. don't worry I didn't them near you' wolf said to me.

'Did they say why we're here' I asked . 'no' he said I sat there for a few minutes thinking to figure out what happened and why they want me.

'do you want to try and go back to sleep' wolf asked as memories of my dream came back to me and I shook my head.

The door opened and a man was standing there, he had brown hair, glasses and a lab coat on.

"Hey, it's ok, I just came to do a check-up and see how you were. if you're feeling up for it we would like to ask you some questions," he says I look at Wolf who is giving him a menacing look.

I was so scared, a million questions running through my head.

I nod and he came beside the bed and checking on the heart monitor and IV.

"How are you feeling," he asks me. I look down at my hands as I've never been asked that questions before.

"what do you mean?" I ask. "I mean are you hurt? do you feel pain anywhere? do you feel tired? how do you feel" he answers as I understand. I'm confused why he is being nice to me

"I feel tingly all over," I said. He went to what looked like the bathroom and came back with a glass of water and some tablets.

"Please take this, it's pain medication, it will make you feel better," he says I hesitate before I take it from him and I swallow it down.

"do you feel tired at all? would you like to go back to sleep?" he asks me.

"I do feel a little tired but I don't think I'll be able to go back to sleep," I say.

"would you like to come with me to answer some questions?" he asks.

I look down at my hands.

'what if "asking questions" is just another punishment? I don't think I can handle that" I think as I take a breath.

'you not going with him are you' Wolf said angrily interrupting my thoughts

what if theirs something he's not telling you, what if you have to kill someone again, I watched you go through that once and it was terrible'

"can wolf come to, he worried something will happen and I'm am to" I pleaded to the man I looking down scared

"Sure," the man said and starts disconnecting me from the IV and Heart monitor. I make my way off the bed and start following him towards the door. we walked down the hall down some stairs.

When we stop at a door and walk inside.

The room It is quite big, there was a small table with a chair on either side and a mirror on one of the sidewalls.

"Take a seat, someone will be here in a minute," he said I walk to the table there's a chair facing the door and another facing the back wall.

I take the seat facing the door as Wolf sits beside me, I patted his head i say. 'this is going to be a long day'.
