Many years later
It had been many years since Naruto had moved from the leaf village and many things had changed for him. He had missed some people from the village, however, he for one thing did not miss people whispering behind his back. Naruto Trained with his new brothers as he had been accepted into the clan. Naruto had enjoyed this part of his new home, he enjoyed them. Naruto was awakened earlier this morning than he normally would have. Naruto opened his eyes and saw Mangetsu telling him to wake up. Mangetsu said, "Naruto we have to get going." Naruto then said, "what are we doing." Mangetsu then said, "we are going to be leaving the village for a while." Naruto then nodded and put on his clothes, blue pants, a white shirt, and a blue zipped up jacket with the Hozuki symbol on the back and they then began to leave the village. Naruto then joined Suigetsu and Mangetsu at the edge of the village. Mangetsu then explained why they were leaving, "Our current Mizukage has been cruel and worse corrupt, we are going to be leaving the village to look for allies." Naruto and Suigetsu then nodded and left the village stealthily. Naruto and Suigetsu had to be careful, the hunter would be looking for them. When Naruto thought they were far enough away he asked Mangetsu "hey bro where are we going and what are we going to do." Mangetsu responded, "Well we are meeting with Zabuza. He said he has gathered two children with powerful Kekkei Genkai." Naruto nodded and said, "this better be worth it, I really am worried if Yagura finds us, we will all be dead if that happens." Mangetsu then reassured him "don't worry, you will be with two of the swordsmen of the mist." Then after an hour of evading the hunter ninja, they made it to Zabuza. Naruto saw Zabuza with two children, one was a young girl with black hair and the other was a young boy with two dots on his forehead and pale skin. Naruto then asked Zabuza "so who are these guys, Master Zabuza." Zabuza then looked at him and said "this is Haku Yuki, she is one of the last members of the Yuki clan and the other kid is Kimimaru he is the last of the Kaguya clan." Naruto then went up to the two children. Naruto then said, "so I heard you two had Kekkei Genkai what are yours." Haku then said, "mine is called ice release, I can create weapons out of ice." Kimimaru then said "I can turn my bones into unbreakable weapons" Kimimaru then demonstrated by pushing a bone out of his body and holding it, the bone was in the shape of a knife. Naruto then said, "Well I guess you guys are worth it, Mangetsu has been training me in our clan's jutsu and in chakra control." Mangetsu then got everyone's attention and said "listen for the next few months we will be taking missions for money and then we will be going back to retake our village with the help from our supporters and those of Mei Terumi." Zabuza then joined in saying "Naruto and Haku you will be training for this time and Suigetsu and Kimimaru you will be with Mangetsu." Naruto then asked "excuse me Master Zabuza do you have the swords of the mist, I have been training for years for this" Zabuza then said "we have both my and Mangetsu's blades kubikiribocho and Hiramekarei but we also have a sword nuibari which you have been training with Naruto and the twin blades Kiba which Suigetsu has been training with." the six then went into their two groups. Naruto was ready for whatever is next, he would save the village from the mad Jinchuuriki Yagura Kartatachi.
Meanwhile, the land of fire Konohagakure Konoha gates
Team seven was leaving the village. These were Kiba Inuzuka(with Akamaru, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha. All three of them looked at Kakashi who began to walk out of the village. They had been walking in silence for a while when Kiba broke the silence by saying "so uhh you guys ready for anything, you better not slow me down I am going to be Hokage after all" Sakura then responded, "Shut up Kiba no one actually thinks you can be Hokage." Kiba then yelled back "oh yeah well I and Akamaru will prove you all wrong." Akamaru then barked in response. Sasuke then abruptly said "does anyone else here that." then as if on cue two blonde boys in a hunter nin mask then ran towards Kakashi saying "Hydrophycation Jutsu" then the blonde kids turned into the water passing through Kakashi they then pointed their fingers at the three kids and said "water pistol Jutsu'' then chakra induced water left his finger aiming at the three genins after that the kid pulled out a shuriken and aimed it at Sakura. The kid then said, "always take out the weakest first." Sakura then dodged the three shurikens, however, after she dodged them he appeared behind her with senbon ready and aimed one at her neck when Kiba attempting to ram him. The kid then jumped out of the way and said "so you are the abrasive and protective type and an Inuzuka." Kiba was shocked and then yelled at him "HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT." The kid then smiled behind the mask and said "by the face marks I identified you as that and the last one is an Uchiha, I found that out by the crest of the back and no other clan has hair THAT black." Sasuke was a bit shocked by the last part thinking 'this kid is good, better be careful about him." The kid then charged at Sasuke, but before he could do anything he had to jump out of the way of the shuriken sent by Kakashi. The kid then said, "so you beat my water clone." Kakashi then looked at him, but before he could do anything the kid turned into water. Kakashi then said, "so both of them were water clones." Kakashi then told the client "we will need to talk." Tazuna then said "yeah as soon as we get to my village.
Far away
Zabuza was with Haku and Naruto. Naruto opened his eyes saying "the clones have been destroyed, master Zabuza." Zabuza then looked up and asked him "what is it that you found out?" Naruto then told Zabuza "he is with a team of genin, the genin team is made up of an Inuzuka, an Uchiha and a third one with no clan." Naruto then went on saying "their jounin sensei is Kakashi Hatake." Zabuza was surprised saying "are you sure." Naruto then said, "yes he fit the description to the letter." Haku then spoke up saying "Master Zabuza should me and Naruto go with you, with Kakashi involved." Zabuza then said "no I think I will be fine and if I look like I am going to be defeated you know what you have to " Naruto then interjected saying,"I think we should send a water clone to assist you there." Zabuza then said, "very well if it puts you two at ease, Naruto you can send on and Haku be ready to be called to act." The two kids nodded and all three of them going.
Team 7
Team 7 was getting closer to the coastline and to the land of waves when out of a puddle came the child from earlier with blonde hair, the kid then began to run towards the genin when Kakashi got between him and the genin. The kid then clashed with kunais and then jumped back. Sasuke then attacked the kid, but the Kakashi then took his kodachi out and slashed the kid through the chest and he then turned to water. After the shock angrily said, "how many times to we have to kill him before he dies!" Then before they could calm down mist began to surround them. Zabuza then came out of the mist and swung his greatsword towards Kakashi. Kakashi then said, "so Gato can afford one of the swordsmen of the mist to kill this man." Zabuza then said, "so the leaf village sends the Great Kakashi to protect a bridge builder." The three Genin then looked in shock wondering of who it was in front of them. Zabuza then jumped back and then made hand signs next to a large body of water and said "Water dragon bullet" and a gigantic dragon came from the water began heading towards the three genins when Kakashi went in front of them, he then put his hands on the ground and said "Earth wall" and a wall made out of mud and soil came out of the ground and prevented the water dragon from harming them. Zabuza then appeared in front of Kakashi and swung Kubikiribocho at Kakashi which he dodged. After that Zabuza created a water clone and appeared behind Kakashi and put him into a water prison. The three Genin were shocked with what had happened in front of them, in a small span of time their Sensei saved them and was captured within a sphere of water. Sasuke broke the silence by saying "so what do you two suppose we do next." Kiba then yelled, "We should all attack that water clone at once and when we destroy it we get the real one to move his hand from the water prison." Sasuke then responded, "I don't think if we all attack without thinking we will be able to defeat him but I agree that we must force him to move his hand away from the water prison he has Kakashi in."
Kiba and Akamaru ran at the water clone, Kiba said "Beast human clone" after saying that Akimaru looked like Kiba. Then Kiba and Akamaru attacked the clone, Kiba took out a kunai and while the Zabuza clone was busy fighting Kiba Sakura and Sasuke attacked Zabuza. Sakura launched shuriken at Zabuza which Zabuza jumped to avoid and when he jumped Sasuke lunged at Zabuza with a kunai, forcing him to let go of the water prison. Zabuza thought 'damn I am low on Chakra and Kakashi is free.' However before anyone could do anything, a Sinbon hit Zabuza's throat. All of them then looked up and saw a girl with a hunter nin mask on. Kakashi then went to check the pulse of Zabuza and didn't feel one there. The girl then went and grabbed Zabuza and then left with the use of body flicker.
A little later
Naruto Hozuki
"That could have gone better," Naruto said, Zabuza then grumbled. Haku then said "sorry but the neck was the best point so I wouldn't hit anything vital." Naruto then said, "I told you I should have gone with you, now what are we going to do now Master Zabuza." Zabuza then sat up and said, "I probably won't be ready for a few days, so for now you two will train, Naruto you will refine your clan Jutsu and Haku you train with yours." Naruto then sighed and helped Haku carry Zabuza as they headed for the Land of waves, a place where an unexpected change would happen.
