I thought for a bit 'you can teleport but I'm going to summon another animal until you get back, ok' I said not wanting him to go
'ok, I'll wait until you summon the animal then I'll go, I'll back as soon as I'm done ok' he said.
I closed my eyes and pictured a black rabbit on my lap, after a few seconds I felt something heavy on my lap.
'Ok it's done you can go wolf, be back soon' I said there was a small pop in the room and Wolf was gone.
I felt a bit more scared and held the bunny close
'Hello Lyna my name is Penny, what do you need me to do' Penny said through the mind link.
"um, lady Lyna, your wolf disappeared," Thor said confused looking to where Wolf once was.
"I know he had to so some things to do but he'll be back," I said shyly looking at the table.
'can you please just stay close to me for now' I said and she snuggled closer to me as I kept one arm underneath her head and one on top of her.
"So Lyna, how do you summon animals?" Clint asked who was sitting right across from me and the one I am most afraid of now.
"Well, um, I close my eye and think of an animal and it just appears," I said a bit uneasy.
'Penny, I should have told you this but when I was little I was kidnapped by Hydra for 7 years and in that time they trained me to be afraid of these guys. I still am. I told them this and they all promised they wouldn't hurt me but I am still really scared that they will' I said looking at Clint's biki who had lowered his bow and arrow and was giving me a hard stare.
'Oh, that's terrible' Penny said
'I know so please help me calm down before I flip out' I said my breathing starting to get a little faster. 'Ok. Lyna it's ok everything going to be ok, remember to breathe in, breathe out, breathe in, breathe out. You're doing great Lyna, keep it up' Penny said and I did it, it worked 'thanks, Penny' I said 'your welcome' she says back.
"Um, Lyna what's that," said Steve as all eyes were on me.
"what's what?" I said holding Penny closer.
"on your lap, what is it?" said Steve I started to get nervous and didn't meet his eye "um… it's my bunny" I said with a shaky voice.
"your Bunny?" said Tony as I carefully lifted Penny onto the table.
'sorry if I hurt you' I said to Penny. 'that's ok you didn't hurt me at all' she said "how did it get here" Clint asked I looked at Penny and back at Clint "I summoned it here" I said wanting her back on my lap.
"it that why the wolf left?" Steve asked I shook my head.
"No, he had something to do, but he'll be back soon," I said lifting her and putting her back on my lap.
I didn't talk to people unless they spoke to me first.
'Lyna I'm done, can you please summon me back' wolf said his voice very quiet in my head. 'yes' I said back I closed my eyes and take a breath as I imagined wolf sitting beside my chair I heard a little pop sound and opened my eyes and see wolf sitting beside me.
I rubbed behind his ears then continued to stroke Penny.
I looked down at the table and I could feel myself getting tired, I taped Natasha's shoulder and she looked at me.
"um Natasha, thanks for the food and all but um... Could you take me back to my room now please" I said avoiding her gaze. she nodded.
I said by to everyone as we walked out of the room.
The walk to my room was silent.
I was carefully caring a sleeping Penny while Wolf walked along beside me. Natasha started saying
"Director Fury's coming tomorrow to ask you some questions that we didn't get to before" I just nodded.
"Why does he want to talk to me?" I questioned nervously, as we got closer to the door.
"he just wants to ask a few more questions, that's all," she said calmly as we stood in front of the door. I was still a little worried looking straight at her.
"well thanks for coming with me," I say opening the door and stepping inside with wolf following
"that's ok, my rooms just next door if you need anything," she said.
With that, I closed the door. I put penny gentle on the bed before seeing some purple Pyjamas. After I put them on, I went under the covers deciding that I would try sleeping on the bed.
After 10 minutes of tossing and turning I didn't know what to do, I already tried and failed counting sheep. I let out of breath and trying to relax. I snuggled into the softness of the pillow closing my eyes as I soon when to sleep.
(Dream)
I was in a room, sitting at a table, with a man who had black clothing on and an eye patch. he looked familiar but I couldn't place it
" do… you any.. powers" (do you have any powers) the question was a bit muffled by the dream but I seemed to understand it perfectly.
I felt my mouth move and speak but I couldn't hear what I was saying
"did.. volunteer.. go.. with HYDRA" he said ( did you volunteer to go with hydra)
I sat there for a minute waiting for what would happen the I felt myself give a short answer
"Do you… what HYDRA… with you" ( do you know what hydra want with you) he said
This time I could feel my answer was short, I was forced to look to my left as I saw wolf laying on the ground.
The dream changed as now I was tied to a chair with a rag in my mouth staring at hydra woman.
"well, well, well look what we have here, you really think you can defy us, you have another thing coming," she said as she got close tapping a small wipe on her hand.
"I'm gonna have so much fun, I love my job." She laughed at the end whipping me on the cheek.
She kept on going swinging to and throw as I screamed.
"Lyna?"
then a dark figure popped up in front of me

I screamed and shot up like a bullet, breathing heavy, tears in my eyes. I saw Wolf was sitting next to me looking worried as Penny did the same.
'Lyna are you o- ' Wolf was interrupted when the door opened revealing a worried-looking Natasha
"I heard you scream, are you alright?" she said I shook my head, she came and sat down next to me.
I let the tears flow and tried to calm down.
'remember breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out' Penny said slowly.
"what happened," asked, Natasha
"I.. I had a bad dream," I said looking down at the bed whipping my tears away.
"do you want to talk about it," she asked I shook my head
"that's ok, just remember that the other Avengers and I will do anything in our power to protect you. it's ok to be afraid there's nothing wrong with that," she said making me feel a tiny bit better.
I took deep breaths in and out for a couple of minutes before I said "thank you, Natasha, I feel a bit better now"
"ok, if you need anything I'll be there," she said getting off the bed and going out of the room closing the door.
'Lyna are you sure you're ok' said Penny I gave her and wolf a smile before nodding.
I quickly look at the clock that read 4.45 am before laying back down and going to sleep.
Or so I thought as I kept tossing and turning through the night I sighed 'this bed is too comfy, I'm not used to it ' I thought as I sitting back up.
I got up and went to the space near the wall where I was sleeping before.
'maybe that's why I can't sleep, I never slept on a comfy bed before, it feels like it's going to eat me up' thinking as I laid down on the floor and fall asleep.
I woke up and was very confused. I couldn't figure out where I was. It took a second before it came back to me.
Rescued from Hydra, saved by Avengers, questions, dinner, now in Avengers tower.
I sat up looking over at the bed only to see Wolf. I guess Penny must have gone back. I then look at the time as it read 10.45 am.
Wolf jumped off the bed and came over to me.
'How did you sleep' he asked.
'better than when I was at Hydra' I said patting his head.
'good' he replayed
I got off the floor and walked over to a door on the side of the room.
Inside there was a bathroom it had a bath, shower, toilet, a sink with a mirror and some towels on a rack. With white tiles on the walls and floor.
I stared at it in amazement before walking out of the room and grabbing the clothes that I wore yesterday and went back inside.
'I'm going to have a shower' I said to Wolf as I closed the door.
I put my clothes on the sink and got undressed. I hopped the shower and turned it on.
I stood there letting the water wash over my body as I felt clean for the first time in years. I found the shampoo and conditioner before washing my hair. After I sat on the floor enjoying the moment.
'Hey Lyna, just letting you know that Natasha came in here before with some spare clothes. she put them on the bed before walking out again' Wolf said
'ok thank you,' I asked
I sat there for the next 10 minutes before getting out of the shower and wrapped a towel around me.
I picked up all my clothes and walked out. I saw the spare clothes and got changed into them. I was wearing black jeans and a green t-shirt. I didn't know what to do with my other clothes so I put them in a pile in one of the corners in the room.
After I found a brush in the bathroom and brushed my hair. I collapsed on the bed where Wolf was facing the door. I let out a sigh and stared at the ceiling.
I wasn't hungry but I wasn't thirsty either. I sat there for a while. before hearing footsteps approach my door.
I heard a knock.
"Hey, Lyna… it's me, Steve, um the director is here and it's time for the meeting. I know you haven't had breakfast yet but after, we'll make sure you will get as much food as you want, ok" he said as I got up and walked to the door, Wolf trailing behind me. I opened the door to see him standing there and nodded.
We went down the corridor and went into the room I was in last time. except this time it had a glass of water on my side of the table. Before Steve left he said, "you can have some water if your thirsty" then closed the door.
I sat down on my chair as Wolf laid on my left.
'is it water?' I asked Wolf as I pick it up and brought it down so he could smell it.
'yes just water, completely safe' he said as I brought it back up and drank a little of it and it tasted very much like water.
I waited a few minutes before the door opened and entered one of the most intimidating man, I have ever seen.
