Hamilton, Jefferson , Madison ,Lafayette have been living at Mount Vernon for a while and things seemed to be going alright. Needless to say Thomas and Alexander still hated each other but for the most part they utilize the space of the mansion. "You know what we should have some fun today " Jefferson said flopping down on the couch in his room "what are you proposing" said Madison looking up from his book "Well Martha was making putting And Jell-O for dessert we could swipe some of that and dump it on Hamilton and Lafayette."

"Ok but how are going to get it."

"Oh leave that part to me"

Only 12 minutes later they were sneaking in the kitchen with the putting and Jell-O. Quietly they poured the pudding and Jell-O into tin buckets and strong a trip wire outside of Alexander's bedroom. "Now we wait." Five minutes later Alexander in Lafayette came walking down the hall "here they come" whisper Jefferson Hamilton seemed to be in deep conversation probably something about politics but they did not notice the trip wire and the pudding and Jell-O came crashing down on to the young men Alexander had no doubt in his mind who it was "Thomas" he growled Thomas giggled along with Madison and ran "Oh mon Dieu" Lafayette exclaimed.

"Oh we are so getting them back for this." Alex decided

" Oui mon amie we will" Lafayette agreed

"but we should probably take a shower first."

"Agreed."

MEANWHILE

"Ha that was great "

" It really was, hey what about Mrs. Washington"

".Oh..."

"Oh well" James concluded after seeing the worried look on his friends face. While James and Thomas we're basking in their victory Alexander and Lafayette were planning their revenge.

"We will get that deranged magenta lunatic back"

"Are you sure they may still get in trouble if we turn them in now"

"No way I'm not going crying to Washington. Not this time."

"If you say so."

The two young men snuck inside Jefferson's room with their gallon size bag of Pop Packets. It took them um ten minutes no less to hook them together right.

"Now when Thomas steps on one they'll all go off making the room shake. Lafayette explained

" Great, Oh speak of the devil." The two turned to the sound of Jefferson and Madison's voices coming down the hall. Laf and Alex hid with a good view of what was going on.

"I still can't get over how great that was!"

"I know did you see there faces" Jefferson and Madison laugh as they walked down the hall. Their conversation was interrupted my a small popping sound.

" What was that?"

" I don't know."

The room was full of that popping sound and it shook. They lamp fell and shattered the covers flew off the beds, spilled ink all over carpet and when the packets finally retired the room was a mess. Alexander snickered trying to stop himself from bursting out laughing.

"Hamilton" Jefferson shouted but it was too late Hamilton and Lafayette were already long gone little did they know that their room had already been rigged so when they stepped in the room went boom! Not literally but colorful smoke booms went of everywhere purple, blue, orange, etc. leaving the men and the room looking like a tie dye disaster. Just then they heard Mrs. Washington coming up the stairs " Boys supper is almost ready." The sight she saw was almost too much for her.

" What in the name of all that is good were you doing up here" she yelled and Martha never raised her voice they were in for it now.

"This is such a mess I can even, you wait until I tell George what you pulled this time." And like that she was gone.

"Well we're screwed" said Alexander brushing himself off

"You can say that again."

"This is all your fault."

" My fault!"

"Yes your fault, you started!"

" Ya I guess your right.

MEANWHILE

George Washington was working in his office were he'd been all day this cabinet members had the day off but he still had a lot to do. He was just finishing up a letter to Congress when Martha burst in absolutely frantic

" you will not believe what your boys did now!"

Washington always loved the way Martha talked to and about his cabinet members. like they were kids their kids and some times it felt like that.

" Slow down just breath." George said helping his poor wife to a seat

" Alright now tell me what happened" he said after his wife had taken a few deep breaths

"I don't now what they did I went up there and the lamp was broken, Alex's room look like they tried to tie die it and I think my putting and Jello were stuck in the rug." Washington pinched the bridge of his nose. Of course not one of them all day had come into his office crying and complaining about the others behavior he should have known they were up to something.

Every day oh my god why just why. Gorge groaned internally. He had no doubt that Alexander and Thomas has started this, he loved

both boys he really did but they were so much work. Just keeping them from punching each other took up the better of his half this energy.

"I'll go talk to them" he said shaking his head and grabbing some cleaning supplies on the way out. The men were gathered in Alexander's room all mumbling amongst themselves. Washington knocked on the door lightly although It was already open.

"Sir?" Alexander asked as Washington walked into the room.

"What happened in here?"

"Sir I don't know what you heard but whatever it is Jefferson started it." Washington suppressed a smirk. Oh sure he was a little annoyed, more than a little annoyed but he couldn't bring himself to be angry they were all just so cute. After a few minutes of silence Lafayette being all sweet like he was asked the question no one was asking.

"Are we in trouble?"

" Not yet. And if you want to keep him that way then You'll have clean this up."

" But Sir" they all shouted

" I don't want to hear it" Madison and Lafayette Hung their heads as he continued with his lecture. Your foolishness caused the mess So it is only fare that you clean it up."

"But it will take us all day."

"Well Alex, you should have thought of that

before you went into all this."

"But sir!"

"Alexander" Washington's voice was dangerously calm Alex thought it best to not push him. They all grabbed a mop or broom and got to work pouting as they did so. Some more than others but not one of them complained. Eventually Washington left the room and went back to his office. Martha was right they really were children his children and he was ok with that.
