Chapter 2:
Sansa sat before the fire in the chambers that she had been given on her arrival to Dragonstone, she was drafting a letter to her brother Jon, trying to find to words to tell him, to warn him about this Dragon Queen.
A sharp knock on her chamber door and the sudden opening of the door without waiting for her leave to enter, distracter her from her writing.
Daenerys walked in without a single thought to commany cutlery to not enter a lady chambers without permission.
"I see that Tyrion had really fail to teach you the way of Westros. Its not acceptable for someone to enter a ladys chambers without being given leave to do so firat." Sansa told Dany as walked in, she hadn't really thought better of her.
"Im the Queen, i need no ones permission to enter any room." Dany sharply said, insulted by the thought that Sansa thought her uneducated.
"Oh yes, I suppose permission is not needed to enter your prisoners rooms."
"Lady Stark you are not a prisoner." Came the short answer.
"For most of my life, I have been a prisoner, I know what it looks like to be a prisoner is fact but a guest in pretense." Sansa said with no emotion as she watched Dany sit down in the chair opposite hers.
"You asked me why you should chose me. I asked myself that in Meereen, I didn't have an answer until Tyrion came to me. His lessons on what I should expect from Westros made me relize that I'm going ti break the wheel, and by breaking the wheel, I will free westros." Daenerys said with a tripuohany smile on her face. She thought she had finally won against the she wolf.
Sansa stared at her, shocked into speachlessness for a second.
"How do you intend to do that? Your family build the wheel, you have will profit from this wheel you speak of. How can you break it? What do you mean by that? There are no slaves in Westros." Sansa questioned her.
"No there are no slaves, however the small folk are treated horrible by the nobles, starved beaten and used for their entertainment. I will put a stop to it. The small folk will have more freedom, I will give it to them and they will love me for it," Dany said with a triumphant grin on her face.
"If you succeed in that, you will have alienated your nobels, loss their loyalty. The nobels are what keep the monarch in power. If you do this why should they listen to you? Whats to stop them from rebelling?" Sansa asked her.
"I-"
"Your Dragons?" Sansa interrupted. Dany scowled at her.
"There will always been people that mistreat and belittle others, to abuse their power. It is the way of people. Whether its a noble, a knight or just cook, there will always be something that thinks themselves above others and treats them poor because of that belief. Dismantling the culture and history of our country will not stop this. It a naive idea, a great one but an unatanbale one. You cant change peoples nature by trying ti change their world all at once. If you truly want to make these changes, you will have to have to make small and slow changes" Sansa said pensilvy as she started at Dany with something new in her eyes.
Dany stared back.
