[ Dallas' pov ]
The life of crime pays extremely well, especially when done right. Our jobs and contracts are doing good so far; robbing banks, retrieving intel, smashing coke. Some good job times, until we met this contractor.
His name is Jax, he was introduced to us by Bain. Bain told us that his contracts are top on the menu, high class contracts with good payoff.
So here I was, outside the safe house smoking a cigarette while thinking about this contractor. Bain only introduced his contracts, but not the background.
This contractor is shady, I don't know if I could trust this guy. "Dallas!" I heard the voice of Houston behind me before receiving a pat on my back.
"What's up? You thinking about our new contractor?" I looked at my right shoulder to see Houston in his black hoodies with his mask up on his head. "How'd you know?" I asked in surprise.
"You know, you always think about the new contractors ever since the rat incident of Hoxton." I raised my eyebrow before looking back to what's front of me and puffing a cigar from my right hand.
It's true, ever since the rat incident of Hoxton, I kept on thinking about the new contractors that came by, especially Vlad.
"Don't worry about it, why not join us inside? Wolf and Jimmy are having a blast inside." He suggested and I politely declined.
"Sorry, but I prefer to stay outside and think about our first contract with Jax which will take place tomorrow evening." I said and he nodded before patting my back and heading back inside.
"Your loss!" He giggled before finally heading back inside through the opened garage door. Jax, a shady contractor.
