20. Announcement

OK… Lads, I know I said that I'd update the story whenever I could, but over the years, I found it a bit hard. Not because I wrote myself in a wall or I didn't know how to progress, but it's mostly the fact that I've lost my drive to write this story. I haven't watched any anime since I got into military, and I haven't even watched season 4 of DxD. But, instead of packing my shit and discontinuing this story all together, I went back and re-read the whole damn thing, plus reading all the reviews you guys left for me. I decided that this story isn't meant to just die, ya know? This story is my most popular fanfic I've written, having 410,613 views, with 1078 favorites and 1157 followers. Originally, I wanted to discontinue this, mostly cause I don't watch anime anymore (if you consider RWBY an anime.), but after going to back to read this and your reviews, I decided to restart the project. I will re-write this and make it an even better experience for all of you.

Why the re-write? Mostly because when I read this again, I didn't like how I wrote certain scenes, certain characters, Issei being too quick to open up. It just sorta ruined the whole thing that I've been trying to build up. There's a few things in there as well that I won't mention, because they're spoilers.

So, when I finish my RWBY story that I'm currently focused on at the moment, I will start again with this one. Brand new story, same characters, but this time a bit more fleshed out. No romance or harems, cause I realized I'm not very good with any of that. When the time comes, I'll post the announcement that the new story is up.

So, before I wrap this up, I wanted to apologize to the people that have sat and waited for my sorry ass to update this. I hope that even after all those false promises I said, about updating and all that, to see you reading the new story and leaving reviews for me to read. Your kind words and criticisms are what push me to write and make each chapter better than the last. So, once again, I'm sorry. And I hope to see all you lads again when I release the new and improved…
