Before Adrien could stop her, Marinette ran into the room. She couldn't hear anything. Tears blinded her eyes. Through a damp haze she only saw Plagg in his pj's and Hawkmoth who put the licorice on his tongue.

"Plagg!" She screamed. The audience did not react and kept staring at the stage, while Marinette ran to Plagg. Hawkmoth looked up, but he wasn't surprised.

"Wait, my child. I understand your enthusiasm, but it will be your turn shortly." Hawkmoth put his claw on top of Plagg's head. "Look at me, it's time for you're Becoming."

At that moment Marinette put her arms around Plagg and pulled him away from the stage. They fell on the ground. Plagg struggled, growled and tried to bite Marinette, but she wouldn't let go. They were struggling in front of the stage and the audience. Plagg roared and Marinette saw in his eyes that he didn't recognize her. They were the eyes of a wolf, full of hatred. She loosened her grip in shock and Plagg yanked himself away. But someone else immediately jumped on him. It was Adrien, who had also ran to the front. Hawkmoth realized something wasn't right. He stood up.

"You aren't here for the Becoming." He said with surprise in his voice. The surprise turned into a threat. He pointed at the people on the first row. "Take them to the stage!"

Strong hands grabbed Adrien and Marinette. Two men dragged them in the direction of Hawkmoth. Plagg walked behind them, growling. Marinette looked at the people in the first row with a pleading face. Was there no-one willing to help? She saw a sea of yellow eyes that watched her without moving. There were classmates of her. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw her parents on the corner of the row. Adrien's parents were next to hers as was Miss Bustier.

"Help me," Marinette whispered and reached out her hand to her mama and papa. They looked at her as if she was a piece of garbage and didn't move. As the tears in her eyes started to increase, the two men lifted her and Adrien and threw them on the stage. The two wolves stood up and stood over them with their front legs.

"Look, these sinners," Hawkmoth growled. "They didn't listen. They didn't eat any licorice, they didn't watch TV. They're garbage and don't belong. Garbage is for the wolves."

Adrien stared straight into the jaws of the wolf that stood in his face while panting. Salvia dripped into his neck, but he didn't dare to move. He couldn't, he was paralyzed with fear, just like Marinette. He looked at her from the corner of his eyes. Her face was pale, her eyes widened with fear. She would die. It made him crazy with sadness. Just a couple more seconds and the wolves would bite through their throats.

"Now!" Hawkmoth roared.
