Diana's POV
We all knew this was coming. The three of us had been called before the rest of the guild just like Yukino had been a few nights before.
Am I gonna be ruined like she was?
"Sting, Rogue, Diana…how could you?" Master asked.
I didn't respond.
"We underestimated Natsu Dragneel; he attacked with Flames cloaked in Lightning." Rogue explained.
Master threw his end table across the room.
"Shameful." He grumbled "Is that how a member of the strongest guild speaks? Who said you could lose?!"
The air around the room concussed and blew the three of us back.
"You are not worthy of this guild!" he yelled.
"AH!" I screamed when he kicked my gut.
"Erase it. The guild mark, this guild doesn't need weaklings."
I haven't been weak. I've done more for this guild then he ever has…but I'm the weak one?
"But Master." Lector said "Sting and the others tried their best. They might have lost but I'm still proud because I think that there's plenty that someone can learn from defeat, and I think Sting learned lots."
"Who are you?"
Lector lifted up his vest "I'm a member of Sabertooth too. I have my mark right here."
"Why does a filthy animal have the mark of Sabertooth on it?!"
He's angry!
"Be gone!"
Master flicked his wrist and there was an explosion.
"LECTOR!"
The attack blew the little cat away.
Lector no…
Rogue was protecting Frosch and I was just cowering next to him.
"What an eyesore." Master sighed.
Sting screamed an earsplitting yell.
"Shut up." Master mumbled.
"How could you!"
"It was just a cat."
Sting got up and punched a hole right through Master.
That'll kill him!
"Sting…what did you just do…" I said stunned.
Minerva stepped forward and said that she had saved Lector, but would not return him unless we won the games tomorrow. After that everyone went off to bed, except me.
"What's your game?" I asked Minerva "Give Lector back now."
"A little experiment to see if Fairy Tail really is right about the power of feelings." She explained.
"Sting is not your puppet." I glared.
"He will be whatever I want him to be." She smirked.
I growled and gave her the evil eye.
"That look doesn't suit your pretty face." She laughed.
"Shut up."
Minerva walked up and grabbed my face and licked my cheek "Pets don't talk back to their master."
"I only see one bitch here and it's you." I hissed.
A pissed off look came over Minerva before she slapped me.
"You obey me got it!"
"I've been thinking about this for a while." I said "Find a replacement. I won't compete for psychos like you and your father."
"Get back here!" she yelled grabbing me with her magic.
"Let me go!" I yelled.
Her magic held me down.
"Diana…Diana…Diana…" she said holding some kind of collar in her hand "I think it's time for you to learn your lesson. I recall from past experience you enjoy toys like this."
"What is that?" I groaned as I struggled.
"I'm sick of you talking back. I'm sick of you have dirty thoughts about me, and I'm sick your attitude." Minerva said "This collar will make sure you listen and aid in our victory tomorrow."
"Let me go!" I demanded.
She clipped that thing around my neck, and everything went black.
Kanji's POV
"What?" I asked "Lucy got taken hostage by the kingdom's army?"
"And the only way to get her back is to win the games?" Laxus added.
"You guys are a pain." Lauren commented.
"Let me go I'm gonna save her!" Natsu yelled.
"These ropes are unwarranted!" Michelle added "Big Sister needs me!"
We had to tie the two of them down to prevent them from charging into the castle to rescue Lucy.
"Please stay calm." Wendy pleaded.
Gramps wasn't sure what to do, running in recklessly could hurt Lucy more.
"Everyone relax." Gramps said "We can't just attack this head on. This will require thought."
He looked at me.
"What if we send a team in as back up? A small squad can sneak in and get Lucy while the rest of us compete." I suggested.
"I like it." Gramps said "Who's going to the castle."
"I am!" Natsu volunteered "I have to get Lucy."
"I would also like to rescue Big Sister." Michelle added.
"Natsu you can't go you have to compete." Wendy said.
"Well can't we use a substitution?" He said "Lauren why don't you stand in for me?"
"I can't" My sister said "I cheated remember. I might not be in Raven Tail but I'm still banned from competing for the next five years."
"Juvia will take Natsu's place." the water woman said.
I thought about it "That's fine."
"Then I'll go help get Lucy." Wendy said.
"We'll go too." Lily said speaking on behalf of the Exceeds.
"You need an adult." I mumbled "Mira will you supervise?"
"Of course." She smiled.
"That's more than enough." Erza said "Any larger will be suspicious."
"Then Laxus, Erza, Juvia, Gajeel, Gray and I will be the team in the Games." I said "Natsu, Mira, Michelle, Wendy and the Exceeds will go rescue Lucy."
Mavis then made herself appear.
"If that is the group for tomorrow, I have much to discuss with you about how you can ensure victory."
Mavis began talking. She was enlightening. The information she knew just from watching the games for a few days was insane.
"At this time Rufus will use his Night of Falling Stars you can dodge if you move at precisely this moment. Kanji and Laxus you can absorb it since it is a lightning attack."
How does she know so much? I'm smart but she's on a whole different level.
"Rufus is the key to it all he must be defeated first." Mavis said.
"Let me do it." Gray said "I have a score to settle."
"I would rather have Erza or Laxus." Mavis said "A stronger Wizard."
"I'll do it!" Gray begged "I have to!"
"Let him." I said "Gray won't fail."
"Very well." Mavis said "Next you must deal with Sherria. Juvia she will be your responsibility. Kanji and Laxus will deal with the Wizard Saint."
Mavis kept telling us where to move and how fast to get there.
"This plan will ensure Fairy Tail's victory."
"This this is our strategy." I said "We'll wage a war on two fronts and ensure Lucy's safety."
"Yeah!"
