Scruff's POV

This Green Dragon was on a rampage. He had already thrown Lucy across town and the now he was gonna eat us. Miss Wendy is strong but not skilled enough to stop something like that.

"Sun Dragon Flash Kick!"

A streak of light shot forward and kicked the dragon back. Miss Lauren landed with a flip and slid to a stop. The sky cracked and a bolt of lightning connected with Zirconis. Laxus crashed to the ground and left a huge crater.

"You can't possibly think one dragon can stand up to three dragon slayers can you?" Lauren asked brushing her hair aside "Come on Big guy, bring it!"

She dashed forward and delivered a series of kicks to the dragon's chest. Her speed was nearly blinding, she looked like nothing more than a streak of shimmering glitter.

"Sun Dragon Talon!"

Lauren jumped up by Zirconis' head and delivered a dozen kicks in seconds.

"She's so fast." I said "I can barely even see her."

"Corkscrew Kick!"

Lauren did a handstand and drilled her legs into Zirconis chin.

"Sun Dragon Laser!"

Lauren thrust both hands forward and a beam dug into Zirconis.

"Filthy Human!"

Despite being as fast as she was Lauren got snagged by the trail of her skin tight dress.

"Put me down!"

"Heavenward Halberd!" "Sky Dragon Roar!"

Laxus shot a spear and Wendy roared at the wrist causing the dragon to drop the black-haired girl.

"Wendy!" Michelle yelled out running forward "My sword!"

"Right!"

The wind collected around Michelle's sword.

"Tornado Cleave!"

When Michelle swung a huge tornado appeared and drilled into Zirconis.

"I might not be as good of a swordswoman as Erza but my blade can be boosted by the magic of my friends." Michelle informed him when a dark smile crossed her face "I'll rip your guts out!"

So we had our three Slayer, Laxus, Lauren and Michelle fighting on behalf of Wendy.

Kanji's POV- Some Time, Some Place.

Have you ever been stepped on, it hurts…kinda like dying. I looked around a lot of white…

I heard footsteps and looked around. Nothing but white landscape as far as the eye could see. After a few minutes and just sitting there I saw someone start to become visible, a big guy.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

He looked like he had when we first met, only the metal jaw was missing.

"Simon…"

He trudged over and took a seat by me.

"I'm dead aren't I?"

"Something like that." He shrugged "For now."

"What do you mean for now?" I raised an eyebrow.

"I'd wager you have a few minutes till you get spit back out." He said.

"Huh?"

"You'll understand eventually." He laughed "So let's get down to business while we still can. How did you end up here?"

"Got stepped on by a dragon." I said.

"Sounds painful." He said "Not that the way I went out was much better."

"About that…thanks."

"No need." He smiled "I'd do anything for her."

"You know I really do want to get back." I said "Erza will be furious if I die."

"Yes she will…I heard you're getting married…congratulations." He said.

"You're not upset?" I asked.

"As long as Erza's happy I couldn't be happier."

I looked down and my hand was starting to get all blurry and funny.

"It appears our conversation must end here friend." Simon said "Before you go I have one request."

"Shoot." I said.

"My sister could you-"

"Consider it done." I cut him off.

"But I didn't."

"I already know what you were going to say."

I saw I was fading a little faster.

"About Jellal…" I said.

Simon just smirked "Your opinions on him are your own, whether you or the others forgive him or not is completely up to you."

By now most of my lower body was gone.

"Well I guess this is goodbye." I said shaking his hand "I hope we don't see each other for a long time."

"Likewise, friend."

Weird…I always thought that if I had a near death experience Mom would be the one I'd see.

Kanji's POV- Some time Some Where

"Laser Eyes!"

I blasted the rock Dragon and Cobra punched it. Out of nowhere I was racked by a splitting headache. My mind was filled with images…nothing but puddles of blood.

That was…me.

"What the hell was that?" Erik mumbled.

"We gotta back up." I said "We just gotta."

Sure enough the rock Dragon turned sharply and stomped where we had been standing.

"Holy shit."

"That was too close." I panted "Can't you hear his thoughts."

"There's too many people." Cobra gritted his teeth "It's so loud."

We got ready to hit the thing again when it started to glow.

"Crap." The dragon grumbled "I guess it's a draw, time for me to split."

The dragon faded away.

"It's over." I sighed.

"This sucks." Cobra groaned "Leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and I eat poison."

"Yep could be a real problem. Even the two of us couldn't kill one."

Erik got up and started to walk away.

"Where do you think you're going?" I asked.

"Back to jail." He growled "That was the deal."

"Alright." I nodded "Best of luck I guess."

"I got to hear it." He mumbled.

"What was that?"

"Nothing." He smirked "Just that next time I get out I'm coming for your head."

I smiled "I look forward to it."

Diana's POV

Even the three of us couldn't kill Scissor Runner or Regalia.

It was probably because I'm only a second generation.

I made my way through the rubble of the city. People were reuniting with friends and family members.

I didn't see Minerva…I wonder where she ran off to? After everything that happened I still can't help but worry about her.

I looked up and saw a group of people coming out of a ruined bar. I recognized Gray, Juvia and Lyon.

And then I saw her. The girl from the other day. She was stunning.

I'm blushing aren't I…I don't even know her name.

I peeked over a wall and watched her say goodbye to Juvia and walk off.

My heart is gonna explode!

"What are you doing?"

"GAH!" I freaked out and flipped over the wall.

"Acting too serious like always." Lector shook his head.

"Fro thinks so too."

"Are you alright?" I looked up and saw her.

"Uh…uh…uh…y-yeah I'm fine."

God I sound like a blithering idiot!

"Do you need a hand."

She reached out and helped me up.

Her hands are so soft…EEEEEEEKKKK!

"I should get going. Ul will worry if I don't get back. By the way you were great in the games." She smiled

"Ye…yeah. Thanks."

I could tell I was blushing like a schoolgirl. The woman started to walk away.

"She looks pretty embarrassed." Lector whispered.

"Fro thinks so too."

"Wait!" I yelled "I didn't catch your name!"

The girl turned to look at me. Her hair flowed in the breeze and her smile sent shivers through my body.

"Meredy."

And like that she turned and walked away.

"…Meredy…"

"What's with you?" Sting said throwing himself on my shoulder.

"Your face is all red are you hurt?" Rogue asked.

"Kinda…" I said.

I think I'm love sick.

Kanji's POV- A few days later.

After the dragons went back to their time the king invited all of us to the castle for a ball. I'm not one to get all dressed up but Erza sure is. The place was a loud party with every mage from all the guilds there.

"Place is packed." I spoke up as Erza and I made our way through the crowds.

Erza was wearing a beautiful gown…she looked even better than she usually did. I just had on my normal jacket and some tuxedo under it.

"You look stunning." I whispered into her ear.

"I wish you had taken that coat off." Erza shot me a look "You better not were that on our wedding day."

I could tell she wasn't kidding around "Yes dear."

"When we go home tomorrow, I'm going shopping for a dress with the girls."

"Oh sweet." I said "Who's going."

"Mira, Lucy, Cana, Millianna and…your sister."

"You invited Lauren?"

"No she invited herself." Erza mumbled "I think she doesn't even want to us to get married but she wants to see me try on dresses. I think she just wants to harass me the whole time."

"I'm sure it will be fine." I told her "That and Mira will probably destroy her. How many bridesmaids do you have?"

"Four. Mira, Lucy, Cana and Millianna. Do you have four men to match up."

"Yep." I mumbled "Four it is."

I still haven't asked anyone.

We kept walking and talking with people. We came across Kagura and the rest of Mermaid Heel.

"Kagura." Erza smiled "Have your wounds healed."

"I should be asking you that."

"I was hoping now that this is all over that we could be friends." Erza said "We are from the same village."

"No." Kagura said "I'd much rather….be sisters…"

"You're just so cute." Erza said giving her a hug.

A sister?!

"I was only kidding." Kagura flailed around in Erza arms.

"That's it you're in the wedding." Erza yelled.

"She's what?!"

"We're going dress shopping tomorrow so get ready!"

Erza then stopped talking.

"Millianna how long are you gonna have that puss on your face? I have no desire to go shopping with showing acting like that." Erza sighed.

Millianna just shrugged.

"You leave me no choice."

I don't know what she was digging around in her cleavage.

"Here."

"Aye!" Happy saluted.

"Air sweet air!" Scruff gasped.

"Kitty…Meh." Millianna put her scowl back on.

Erza pulled Lily and Carla out as well.

"So many kitties!"

That seemed to snap the cat girl out of her funk.

"Erza!" Carla yelled.

"I'm not a toy." Lily groaned

"Aye!"

"Can't breathe!" Scruff wheezed.

I glared at the four cats "How long were you four in there? What exactly did you touch?"

"Don't hurt us!"

"Happy where is Natsu?" Erza asked.

"I don't know."

"Maybe something happened." I pondered.

Erza and I went back to having conversations with various people. At one point some music kicked up and Erza wanted to dance. We swayed to and fro I tried to avoid stepping on Erza's toes. There were other couples dancing as well.

"Look at that." Erza pointed out a few of the dancing couples.

"That is…strange."

Millianna was dancing with Bickslow of all people. They seemed to be having fun, those two sure were nutty enough for each other.

"Do you mind if I cut in?"

Sho wanted a chance to dance with Erza and I stepped aside. I went off to the bar to grab a quick drink and found Kagura there downing shots.

"You should slow down." I commented.

She glared at me and I gulped.

"Here." She slid one to me "Have one with me."

I picked up the glass and gulped the burning liquid down, hissing at the sting in my throat. Kagura did her shot before dragging me out to the floor to dance. Now this wasn't a nice slow dance like with Erza. This drunk was throwing me around.

"Help me!"

Asshole your sister is a maniac!

After she had thrown me around Kagura stumbled over to Sting and demanded Yukino go with her to Mermaid Heel. That started a chain of guild staking their claim to Yukino.

"I guess that means we get to throw down."

The party devolved into a brawl that was eventually broken up by the knights. Trying to catch my breath from the struggle that had just wrapped up I went out to the balcony.

"Why are you here alone?"

"Are you gonna dance me into a wall again?" I looked back and asked Kagura.

"No." she shook her head "Sorry."

I stared out at the starry sky.

"You know." I started "Your brother was a pretty great guy. I only knew him for a few hours but I consider him a good friend."

"Is that so?" Kagura said leaning on the balcony with me.

"Just so you know." I looked at her "Erza and I are always around if you need anything…or just want to talk."

"Thank you." She looked away.

"You know if Erza considers you her sister that would almost make us relatives." I joked.

"Don't even start." She shook her head.

I headed back into the ball and had a great time.
