Was the flower dust hypnotic (BB easy to hypnotize) or was the reason Beast Boy's unique biology or sbecause he was much faster and worse (couldn't transform) affected by the dust then the others? Could it have lasting effects on him? The mysterious hacker could be Atlas.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the story. The flower dust is similar to how all poppy's are in the movies (Think Wizard of Oz) so I suppose it's hypnosis. And don't worry. He returns to normal in this chapter. Though the idea sure sounds funny. And hey, it could be Atlas, couldn't it. It originally wasn't and it's still not, but I almost considered changing it. Glad I didn't, and you'll be too. By the last chapter, I promise I'll have you laughing at the villainous reveal.

I appreciate the advice. I'm glad you love it, and there's plenty more! I'm glad you think it's so in character, it's what I aim for. Unless it's necessary for the plot I think to myself-" Would they do that? Would they say that?". No. Rewrite. I try to give it my all.

TEENTITANS
Cyborg and Bumble Bee looked at the now white screen. They had watched the Titans go through the course. At first it was predictable then it grew insane. The last they saw before the screen went white was the boys in the girls' arms, flying towards a light in the ceiling; after that, connection was lost.
"What now?" Cyborg broke the silence first, the only other sound was the quiet static of the screen.
"Don't know," Bumble Bee sighed," But it gives us a good opportunity to figure this out now that we don't have to check up on them," she said, turning around to look at the titans's bodies in the chairs,"Speaking of which…"she started quietly. Bee walked to the Titans and began examining any wounds they had.
Cyborg noticed his girlfr-er, good acquaintance and fellow Titan, playing doctor. He was known as Titan's tower's health care provider, and offered to take care of them, while Bee can check the device.
"I'm good," Bee smirked at the cybernetic teen," You built the device, you take care of it. 'Sides Speedy and Aqualad get in fights all the time. Who do you think picks up the mess?" she said.
"Mama Bee?"
She laughed," I certainly do feel like a Queen around them,"
"They respect you that well?" Cyborg inquired. Maybe times have changed but the last time the robotic meat-lover visited the Titans East it was not only Taco Tuesday but Fish Taco Tuesday which resulted in Tackle Tuesday. And Wednesday. And Thursday. And Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. And they weren't playing football.
"Of course not," Bee huffed," I mean they should follow my orders as I'm their leader but they don't want to so guess who has to scare her loyal subjects into doing so?"
(WARNING THIS AUTHOR KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT MECHANICS AND EVEN IF I WAS AN EXPERT I DON'T LIVE IN A TIME WHERE THEY HAVE TELEPORTABLE SIMULATIVE TECHNOLOGY. OR MAYBE I DO AND I NEED TO GET OUT OF MY FANFICTION CAVE FILLED WITH JELLY YOU DO KNOW SOMETHING PLZ LET ME KNOW.)
"All hail the Queen," Cyborg huffed, looking at the back of the machine. There was a chip that contained all the hard and software of the device. If he could find some way to fix any bugs without disconnecting the chip, he might be able to get the titans back with no harm. He fears disconnecting the chip may leave their brains trapped in a coma-like state. Or worse.
"At least I can lead," She retorted playfully.
"Not my fault Bird Brain nominated himself King of the Nest,"
"Well maybe Baby Bird Cyborg needs to learn to fly,"
"Very funny Bee," Cyborg snorted," And hey, I'd make a great leader!"
"Yeah…" Bumble Bee said slowly, with amusement in her voice."Sure."
"Tell me what's so bad about me leading the Titans!" Cyborg demanded.
"Nothing,"Bumble Bee said, playing innocent," But I think the other titans would make exceptionable leaders as well. Probably more so," she chuckled. This was fun. She checked a burn mark on Raven's arm.
"What makes you think that?" Cyborg narrowed his eyes at her back, kneeled on the floor by Star's ankle," Robin's too obsessed, Raven would kill us all, Star's too sweet, and Beast Boy is...well Beast Boy!" he blubbered.
"Nice defense," Bumble Bee, smirked, rising to face him. "Here's another thing-from what I've heard Robin's doing fine as leader-"
"If by fine you mean staring at a picture of Slade in a creepy dark room-"
"Raven has a sense of leadership in a compassionate way I would never expect. I heard about Melvin, Timmy, and Teether. That girl would make a good mom-"
" Does it include sending us to another dimension?-"
"And Star's not all peaches and roses, she has a warrior side don't forget that-"
"Hmph"
Bumble Bee smirked. He was totally losing it. " And Beast Boy would make a good leader. Remember the BrotherHood of Evil?" she asked.
"All too well," Cyborg groaned, remembering his toil with Brother Blood.
"See?" Bumble Bee said, " They're all perfect for the job," She kissed the side of his head," And you would be too,"
She went back to the control panel of the TV, leaving a confused and blushing Cyborg.
T_E_E_N T_I_T_A_N_S
Starfire wakes up to see a group of people looking at her strangely. Which was ironic since she wanted to look at them strangely. She always found Earth ways strange, but this was different. One guy (or girl she really couldn't tell) wore a tan tunic with red decor hanging from the short sleeves, bottom of the tunic, and middle (think Indian since my brain just walked out on me). They all wore the same thing. Not only that, but they looked the same. Face and body structure included. All had light mocha skin with large brown eyes, sharp eyes, and pink lips. All were slim, and had hair similar to Raven's except it reached their shoulders, was dark brown, and they had strange bangs in the shape of an upside down triangle. Starfire blinked.
Is this an Earth tradition I am not aware of?
Suddenly she remembered everything. Including blacking out while going through the exit. She rubbed her sore side, and started to get up.
" Halt!" A person spoke in a thick accent, pointing a spear at her. Starfire yelped, and layed back down, alarmed.
"Who are you and what are your intentions?" he/she thrusted the sword closer to her nose.
"My name is Starfire and I-"
"Starfire!" they gasped, "How appalling! Who would name such a thing as such? STARFIRE. Ugh," he shuddered.
Starfire frowned. She loved her name. Robin told her it was beautiful. What was wrong with the name? Perhaps they just didn't like the translation.
"I also go by Koriand'r," She smiled despite their impoliteness.
"Koriand'r," the guy said in an even snobbier tone than before," What are you, an alien?"
"Well, actually…" Starfire said.
"Dude, what's your deal?" Starfire turned to see her green friend rubbing his tired eyes. Raven sat besides him and Robin was to the other side of him glaring at the guy with a look that made Death himself quiver.
Beast Boy opened his eyes, now fully awake, and scanned the area," Woah, what is this, 1984?" he joked.
"Pretty sure it's not that year," Raven mulled," Not like I can find a calendar,"
"I was talking about the book," he looked at her confused. Wasn't she like a literature expert?
"Oh," Raven said. Wait. Beast Boy reads?
The guy who now the Titans presumed to be the leader/ruler of the town yelped like a little girl into a young woman's arms next to him at the sight of BB and Rae.
The two looked at him confused and a little offended.
"WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS?" The chief, let's call him, hollered, crying hysterically.
"Those things," Starfire said, getting angry (it was one thing if they insulted her but her friends were another), " Are my friends. And I would appreciate it if you left us alone,"
"I don't know what planet we're on, but I don't like it," Robin mused.
The chief looked at him, sighing in relief," Finally, someone normal-looking. But you're out of style."
"Excuse me?" Robin questioned, insulted. Sure spiky hair and traffic light themed clothes isn't exactly a fashion statement but no one had ever spoken to him like that about the topic.
"You're so pale," A woman spoke, looking at him pitifully,"When was the last time you saw the sun, hon?"
"First of all, please don't call me that," Robin narrowed his eyes," My name's Robin- and I get plenty of sunlight, thank you," he answered the chief, still angry with him.
"Are you mocking us?" The chief gawked at his hair.
"Look, sir, we just-"
"Excuse me?" A small girl spoke. The girl looked to be around 12, had long curly black hair, light cream-colored skin, and blue eyes. She had thin pink lips, and slightly pointed ears. She wore a light blue dress with long sleeves. It reached past her feet and seemed to glimmer. She wore a white flower crown.
"Eurgh," the chief huffed," Vaurissa,"
"What's going on?" She spoke sweetly and innocently.
"None of your business,"the chief thrust his spear towards the south," Now back to the cave,"
"No." she said simply.
"Excuse me?" the chief was red-faced," I know you're rebellious, but when I give an order you better listen. Along with returning to your home, cut your hair appropriately, take off those ridiculous clothes, and get some sun!"
"I do not wish to return home, Chief Rozo," Vaurissa calmly, unfazed by his discriminatory attitude," I am not rebellious, only independent. I do not have to follow orders, you yourself said I am not welcome as an official citizen. That's why I live in the mountains. I love my hair, and there is no right or wrong way to have it. Matter of fact, I might just shave it all off. That a good trend for the tribespeople? My clothes aren't ridiculous, your rules are. And my skin has nothing to do with the amount of sun I get. Being around you guys, it's hard to find the individual.I bid you all farewell and have a nice life," she looked at the chief," Well, bye Waldo. Finally found you," she turned and headed off calmly.
"WALDO! GOOD ONE!" Beast Boy laughed hysterically. He stood and looked at her. Vaurissa turned and gave him a small smile,"You know I'm a funny guy myself," he said, wiggling his brows.
"Please don't embarrass yourself," Raven droned, now on her feet.
"Excuse me, stranger?" Starfire slowly stood after Robin did. Then Vaurissa smiled, encouraging the princess to go on," What is this strange land, and who are these people?"
Behind them, Vaurissa saw the people protesting silently to keep her mouth shut. Sure, she'd do that. Sort of.
"Nevermind that," she smiled, a gleam in her eyes," Come with me, you'll be safer,"
The titans shrugged it off, following her. They wanted a way out of here, and she seemed to be their best bet. Besides, they trusted her more than Chief Bozo- Er, I mean Rozo.
They followed her through the small villages of straw and wood houses. Everyone was back to minding their own business, whether that was selling goods, farming, or children playing. It seemed like a normal town. Only creepier.
"So, what is this place anyway?" Beast Boy would be the one of course to break the silence,"And why did no one tell me it was Halloween already?"
"Very Funny," The girl slightly turned her head back, smiling. He couldn't tell if she was kidding or not.
She turned back, not replying to his first statement.
After going through a lush forest, and up a mountain, they finally made it to Vaurissa's cave. It looked cozy, nothing fancy, but it was high-class for the middle of no-where. There was a bear-skin rug on the floor, a brown couch, a small blue rocking chair, a small glass table in front of the couch. A guitar in the far left upper corner, and a white teddy bear in the corner behind the rocking chair.
"Nice place," Robin commented.
"Thanks, but it's really nothing," Vaurissa sighed.
"Nonsense," Beast Boy plopped himself on the soft couch, making himself at home,"I could crash here,"
"It isn't too bad," Raven said nicely, seating herself next to the green teen.
"Yes, it is quite comforting, is it not, Boyfriend Robin?" Starfire sat besides Raven, looking at her still standing partner.
Robin crossed his arms comfortably," Sure is,"
"You guys are too kind," Vaurissa blushed shyly," But I'm afraid there are more important things to discuss than my decor," she said," As for what this place is, who they are, and who I am, I need to know who you are first before I answer such a question,"
"I'm Robin," Robin said," These are my friends- Beast Boy, Raven, and Starfire-my girlfriend. And we're the Teen Titans,"

"BOOYAH!"
"Figure something out?" Bee said, watching the screen. Cyborg really didn't know why-it was still in static.
"Yup. See for yourself," Cyborg said proudly, appearing out from behind the Simulator 9000 ( did he seriously call it that? What happened to the first 8,999?).
"Better yet, hear for yourself."
Bumble Bee turned back to the wide screen, and indeed there was the crew, in a homely area with an unknown girl. But not only could she see them, she could hear what they were saying too.
"I'm Robin," they heard the boy wonder spoke,"These are my friends-Beast Boy, Raven, and Starfire-my girlfriend. We're the Teen Titans."
The two tech-savvys saw the little girl nodding her head, before she finally spoke.
"My name's Vaurissa. I suppose you could say I'm the town's odd-one-out. Probably the ONLY one. When everyone started to make themselves look the same, I refused to join in. So they banished me far off, but I still return," she said.
"You poor thing," Starfire said quietly.
"So why does everyone look the same anyways?" Beast Boy asked. This got Bee and Cy intrigued.
Vaurissa bit her lip," I fear to say. But I will tell you this- it is absolutely necessary. At least necessary to the chief. Which makes it OFFICIALLY necessary," she sighed.
She continued on," So who or what are you guys?" she looked at them strangely.
"We're Superheros," Robin answered," We come from Earth. Well, sort of,"
"I am Starfire," the alien smiled kindly," I am Tamaranean and have the ability to shoot starbolts," she said, firing up. The girl found this cool.
"Name's Beast Boy," the changeling huffed," I can turn into any animal or creature you want!" he then proceeded of making a show, transforming into first a Spider Monkey, then a badger, then a falcon, a flopping fish, a who knows what, a cat, a goose, a-
"I think she gets the point," Raven's bitter tone broke both Vaurissa's and BB's trances.
"Heh, sorry," Beast Boy rubbed his neck.
"I'm Raven." the sorceress spoke," Let's just say I use magic,"
"I practice magic too!" the girl said, elated.
"You do?" Raven seemed genuinely surprised.
Vaurissa nodded," I use spell books though. But by magic do you mean, REAL magic-like glowing fingers and everything?,"
"Yes, but unfortunately I cannot show you. My powers are driven by emotion and it would be dangerous if they got loose," Raven stated.
Vaurissa seemed slightly saddened,"Oh, I see. But why are you guys here,"
"We don't know," Robin said."This was supposed to be a simulation. But it's like we're in another world,"
"That's cause you ARE," the little one spoke," Or at least as far as I'm concerned,"
"But how did we end up here?" Beast Boy seemed to question for the gazillionth time.
"Well, I don't know. What happened exactly?" Vaurissa spoke.
The four quickly filled her in on everything
"Okay, so obviously something went wrong," Vaurissa said. She jumped a little as she felt a furry thing behind her. She turned to the doorway.
"Oh hello, Budo." she smiled at the strange creature. She turned back to the titans introducing them," Guys meet my pet Vulran-Budo. Budo, these are the Teen Titans,"
The Titans,including Bumble Bee and Cyborg, looked at the creature in horror, then looked at Vaurissa as if she had a screw loose.
"Don't be alarmed," she said," They're peaceful creatures,"
"It attacked us," Raven spoke, surprising the girl." Er, one of them did. In another world,"
"Dude!" Beast Boy cried out, vigorously scratching his leg," That thing's back? And why am I itching so much?"
Vaurissa gasped. "Oh, I'm sorry! You have animal DNA, yes?"
"Yeah..why?"
"When Vulran's feel threatened, they send out an invisible gas that only animals can sense. Unfortunately, other creatures are also allergic to it. Hence the itching. It's so subtle nothing can sense it."
"Well, can you fix it? Kind of want to live beyond today. Still haven't beat my record of 67 tofu dogs,"
"I'll try to calm him down," she rubbed Bodo's head and it seemed to work," So, you guys want to get back to Earth of 2020,huh?"
The titans nodded.
Vaurissa stopped petting the resting creature and sighed. " I do not know a way back to Earth. But I do know how to get out of this world,"
"Really?" Robin looked hopeful.
The girl nodded,"Yes. But it'll take me time,"
"Take as long as you need," Raven said, understanding."We'll wait here."
"Well,actually, I'll need you to go into town," the girl mused. "I need to be completely alone for this-so you'll have to fit in,"
"FIT IN?!" Robin cried.
"Not my beautiful face!" Beast Boy, pulling on his eye sockets dramatically.
"Beautiful?" the girl blinked." You look like an elf,"
"Gee thanks," Beast Boy said sarcastically.
"Sorry,"the girl shrugged," she threw them body paint, wigs, and the Indian-style tunics (What are they called again?).
The Titans grimaced at the outfits.
"Once I am finished, promise one thing," she asked.
"What?" Robin queried.
"When you leave, take me with you," the girl said.
"Promise, Robin smiled.
Bee was cool with it. Starfire was elated at having a new friend, and Beast Boy was hoping she could be a Titan when she gets a little older. But the other two Titans watched the scene with a grim expression. For as the experts in the field, they knew this couldn't end well.
